Abstract

Based on the purpose of this study to get an overview of the play approach to gross motor skills of children with disabilities, using a method for this study with Pre-Experimental Design, this research design with pretest and post-test. Retrieval using tests related to motor movement skills. The number of subjects used in the study were 27 students of tunagrahita children. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics are used to interpret and analyse data and t-test to see significant differences in the two variables before and after the play approach. The results of the calculation of the pre-test score description minimum score 7, maximum 12 average 8.74, standard deviation 1.28, for the post test score minimum 7, maximum 15, average 12.22, standard deviation 1.82. For the calculation of the difference test between the post test and the pre test using the paired sample test, the value based on the sig value is 0.00 <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of the play approach on the motor skills of children with disabilities in SLB Jombang Regency

Abstract

Logical thinking can show a mature attitude to help choose to solve problems provided by educators for students. Because logical thinking solves problems intelligently, swiftly, deftly, confidently, and skillfully. Logical thinking can help students' academic and non-academic achievements. This study aims to determine the relationship between logical thinking and the semester achievement index of PGRI Jombang University students. In this study, researchers only want to know the relationship between variable X and variable Y, how to distribute questionnaires to respondents. Data collection techniques take data with questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a normality test with the results of logical thinking scores of 0.883 > 0.05 and Semester Achievement Index of 0.001 < 0.05. It can be concluded that the logical thinking variable is normally distributed while the semester achievement index variable is not normally distributed, a linear test with b resultsbased on the analysis obtained F calculate 0.970 with a signification level of 0.539. This proves that F count 0.970 < F table 3.9 1. Because the calculated F value is smaller than the F table, it can be concluded that there is a significant linear relationship between the logical thinking variable (X) and the semester achievement index variable (Y), and the correlation test with the results Based on the test results shows a correlation value of -0.055. This indicates that there is no relationship between logical thinking and student semester achievement index.Based on the results of research on the relationship of logical thinking to the semester achievement index of Physical Education Students at PGRI Jombang University by looking at the results of data analysis indicates that there is no relationship between logical thinking and the semester achievement index of high, medium, and low ability students.

Abstract

In the future, we will face several challenges and changes that demand a change in the educational paradigm that has been applied by teachers in Indonesia. Students from now on should be accustomed to searching for information on their own, be able to identify and formulate problems, be able to work effectively in group work and have high logic. In Indonesia, there are two residential layouts called urban and rural. At this time everyone in the city and in the village, be it teachers or students already have qualified sources of information, both from the internet, television, or from other social media. The purpose of this study is to determine the comparison of PJOK teachers' teaching skills in terms of students' creative thinking skills in public junior high school students in urban and rural Jombang Regency. This study is a comparative study. Researchers use a type of comparative research (comparative research. Researchers used a sample of class VII I A SMPN 1 Ploso (village school) with a total of 32 students and class VIII A SMPN 1 Diwek (city school) with a total of 32 students.Based on the calculation of all data obtained by researchers from SMPN 1 Ploso (village school) and SMPN 1 Diwek (city school) obtained t count of 2.212 which was then compared with t table at the level of significance of 5% with the number of respondents 32 students with df = n – 1 obtained t table with an interpretation of 1.999 Thus it can be known t table < t count. Based on the results of the discussion described above, it can be concluded that, there are significant differences in the teaching skills of PJOK teachers at SMP N 1 Ploso (village school) and SMP N 1 Diwek (city school). The teaching skills of PJOK teachers at SMP N 1 Diwek are better than the teaching skills of PJOK teachers at SMP N 1 Ploso, when viewed from the creative thinking of students in each of these junior high schools.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the influence of Brain Gym or brain exercises to increase gross motor skills and fine motor mental reterdation category were aged 4 years to 6 years. In this study, the sample were students in kindergarten SLB Muhammadiyah Jombang. This study was conducted in 10 meetings for each child. Each child will be given the treatment in the form of brain exercise, starting from the lateral dimension, focusing dimension and the dimension of convergence. Tests performed every time the student has finished the movement brain gymnastics. This is done so that the results of tests that are obtained more accurately. Mental reterdation characteristics that have limitations in considering would negatively affect the test results. Tests for gross motor movement and fine motor movement using DDST test format. DDST contains procedures for conducting tests and evaluation of test results. For the tests of gross motor movement and fine motor movement there are three assessment criteria, namely failed, refused and passed. At the beginning of the meeting five tests carried out many items in the category of students failed and refused. This is caused by the adaptation of students in recognizing the new environment and the movement of brain exercises that they have never done before. At the end of the five meetings that the number of test items in the category refuse and fail to decline, it is because the students have started to adapt and understand instructions, instructions were given to them. Overall improvement of the results of tests on five initial meeting and five final meeting for categories of pass is 33.8%. Based on this research exercise influence Brain Gym on the development of gross motor movement and fine motor skills of children with intellectual challenges, it can be argued conclusions in this study are: Gymnastics Therapy Brain (Brain Gym) have an influence on the development of gross motor movement and fine motor movement for mental reterdation midle category were aged 4 years to 6 years.
