Abstract

The digital era opens opportunities for business people to promote their business on digital platforms such as social media, one of which is Whatsapp Business (business WA). Due to the lack of online promotion practices and lack of knowledge, this is of course an obstacle for business actors in running their business. In this service activity, the team shared information and introduced WA business as an application that allows business interaction between business actors and customers or prospective customers, besides that they were provided with direct practice related to business WA installation and proper management methods. This activity aims to deepen understanding regarding the use of business WA as a promotional medium and improve skills in managing business WA. Service partners are 20 business actors. The method used to determine the increase in marketing using descriptive quantitative methods, namely research methods using quantitative data and described descriptively. Most of the activity participants received increased knowledge and abilities after receiving material in the Community Service activities. In fact, some activity participants received a fairly high increase of up to 44% compared to before participating in the activity. Based on the Community Service activities that have been carried out, it is concluded that this Community Service activity deepens understanding regarding the use of business WA as a promotional medium and improves skills in managing business WA as a promotional medium in business activities.

Abstract

Financial bookkeeping will produce a more informative financial report in order to provide complete information to third parties. However, in practice, MSME owners are unable to provide financial information because there are no financial reports. In line with the above, the quality of MSME existence must be improved starting from operational activities to how to practice simple bookkeeping with the aim of orderly bookkeeping and presentation of financial reports. The purpose of this service activity is to deepen knowledge and understanding regarding simple bookkeeping in business activities and improve skills in making simple bookkeeping and applying it regularly in business activities. In this service activity, participants are given material to training and assistance related to simple bookkeeping. This activity was attended by 20 retail business actors around the Cileungsi Village area. Based on the Community Service activities that have been carried out, it is concluded that this Community Service activity deepens the understanding and knowledge of retail business actors regarding simple bookkeeping in business activities. Business actors gain knowledge and skills regarding new insights in running their business through simple bookkeeping or financial records that are easy to apply. After this activity, business actors can implement even better bookkeeping and recording as a financial recording system in business activities.

Abstract

The aim of holding marketing management training through improving the quality of service and promotion for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bojongnangka Village is expected to provide new insights to stimulate motivation and creativity in marketing MSME products in Bojongnangkan Village through improving service quality and appropriate promotions. A good understanding of marketing management, apart from enabling MSME business actors to increase sales volume, can also expand their business so that they can absorb more workers and reduce the unemployment rate in Bojongnangka. Some of the problems faced by partners are that they do not understand marketing management and still have little understanding of promotions, resulting in limited products being marketed. The method applied is starting with a pre-test, then material presentation, question and answer discussion and evaluation with a post-test. This PkM activity was attended by 20 participants from MSMEs in Bojongnangka. Training material regarding Marketing management through improving service quality and targeted promotions with the aim of ensuring that the goods being marketed can be widely distributed and reach more consumers. Promotions in various media, providing free testers, giving coupons, cash back and attractive price packages. The result of this community service activity is that participants' insight increases and stimulates motivation to always think innovatively and creatively, so that sales turnover can be significantly increased, driven by appropriate promotions and improved service quality that encourages customer loyalty compared to before attending the training. It is hoped that activities like this will not stop here, but can be continued in the next period with various similar activities, in order to increase knowledge and expertise by attending other activities such as seminars, webinars, training and coaching regarding marketing management to stimulate creativity and motivation. and innovation, also increase the capabilities of MSME business actors so that they can increase income and expand their business networks.

Abstract

The Turmeric and Asem Herbal Home Industry is a pioneering MSME by housewives in RW.007 Cikeas Udik, Bogor Regency, and still faces several obstacles, including the still simple equipment used in production, the packaging used is still simple and in its marketing activities it has not implemented green economy-based marketing (green marketing). The purpose of this community service is to increase the productivity and marketing of the turmeric and asem herbal MSME, encouraging MSME actors to increase business productivity, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit in order to develop their business. The method of implementing the community service is the presentation of training materials that begins with a pre-test followed by a lecture on the material by the community service team and a question and answer discussion, closing with a post-test to determine the final abilities of the training participants. The results of this activity can increase the productivity and marketing of MSMEs turmeric and tamarind herbal medicine, encouraging MSMEs to increase business productivity, creativity, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit in order to develop their businesses. The output targets to be achieved The output targets to be achieved are improving management skills, improving the ability to design marketing strategies, publishing articles in reputable journals, IPR, posters and audio-visual works. In this activity, the Community Service Team distributed technology grants to partners from the Ministry of Education and Science and Technology through LLDIKTI 4 in the form of a spice or flour grinding machine. It is hoped that this program can increase the productivity, creativity, innovation and enthusiasm of MSME entrepreneurs and subsequently there will be several times of mentoring from the PKM team to ensure the sustainability of this activity.
