Abstract

Telah dilakukan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat dalam hal ii dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Lembar dengan peserta adalah para guru IPA dan beberapa pimpinan sekolah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru bidang IPA dalam mengembangkan pengembangkan instrumen keterampilan berfikir kreatif. Kegiatan berlangsung dengan baik dan para guru antusias mengikuti kegiatan dari awal berupa penjelasan dan paparan, pembimbingan, dan kegiatan mandiri untuk mengembangkan instrumen tersebut. Salah satu keterampilan abad 21 adalah keterampilan berfikir kreatif, di mana para guru menyatakan bahwa mereka baru pertama belajar mengembangkan instrumen berfikir yakni pada saat pengabdian kepada masyarakat kali ini, dengan demikian membutuhkan keberlanjutan dan pembinaan. Para guru perlu memiliki kemampuan mengembangkan asesmen keterampilan abad 21, salah satunya adalah asesmen keterampilan berfikir kreatif (creative thinking skills) berdasarkan kompetensi dasar (KD), melalui kegiatan workshop atau pelatihan dengan harapan kompetensi guru dapat meningkat dan pada akhirnya peserta didik terfasilitasi untuk dapat meningkat keterampilan abad 21, khususnya keterampialan berfikir kreatif.

Abstract

Time Lapse micro-gravity or 4D microgravity has been developed and applied for various purposes related to the dynamics change beneath the earth's surface. The principle is a repeated and periodic measurement to determine the change in gravity value at time interval as a yield of the dynamics changes in the density change of the subsurface. This method can be used for monitoring and identify water or gas injections in reservoirs. Mass density taht changes due to gas injection provide changes in the values of gravity over time. This change allows us to identify the dynamics of gas movement in reservoir. A reservoir model has been made in this research with gas injected in reservoir bulk. The time lapse gravity respons value is calculated numerically. Oil-gas contact is an edge between gas injection front with oil which move direction away from injection point. The first and second radial derivatives of 4D gravity can provide as a front of the gas movement in the reservoir. A radial derivatives is a horizontal derivative of gravity anomaly along radial direction from a point which selected as a entre of the anomaly. The second radial derivative is derivative of radial deriative. Radial derivatives value of this model response have range of 20 microGals/m and second radial derivative has a values of 0.05 microGals/m2. Graphics of absolute value of radial derivative and second radial derivative of 4D gravity anomaly seemingly correlated with the oil-gas contact of reservoir models. Radial derivative and second radial derivative has been proven as new available method wich has ability to shows a boundary of a horizontal layer with vertical density contrast. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh strategi Creative Problem Solving dengan pendekatan STEM terhadap keterampilan proses sains. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI SMAN 3 Mataram. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga terpilih lah kelas XI IPA 6 sejumlah 25 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI IPA 5 sejumlah 30 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah strategi Creative Problem Solving dengan pendekatan STEM sedangkan keterampilan proses sains sebagai variabel terikat. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur keterampilan proses sains sejumlah 6 soal uraian Hasil analisis data pretest keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol tidak jauh berbeda. Setelah diberikan perlakuan nilai rata-rata posttest keterampilan proses sains kelas eksperimen 84 dan kelas kontrol 74. Hasil uji hipotesis keterampilan proses sains didapatkan thitung yaitu 2,404. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh strategi Creative Problem Solving dengan pendekatan STEM terhadap keterampilan proses sains peserta didik

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan media power point interaktif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi gelombang mekanik di SMA Negeri 1 Kediri. Jenis penelitian quasi eksperimentdengan desain penelitian pretest posttest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalahseluru kelas XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Kediri. Sampel penelitian diambil dengan menggunakan sampel jenuh dan terpilih kelas XI MIPA 1 sebanyak 25 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 2 sebanyak 25 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan power point interaktif dan kelas kontrol diberi perlakuan model pembelajaran langsung.Kemampuan berpikir kritis diukur dengantes uraian sebanyak 10 butir soal. Hipotesis penelitian diuji menggunakan uji-t dengan taraf signifikan 5%. Uji t menghasilkan nilai t hitungkemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik sebesar 6,847 lebih besar dari t tabelyaitu 2,012 sehingga H0ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berbantuan power point interaktif terhadap kemampun berpikir kritis peserta didik pada materi gelombang mekanik. Hasil tersebut dibuktikan dengan nilai N-gain scorepeserta didik sebesar 0,796 pada kelas eksperimen dengan kategori tinggi dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,625 dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran IPA di dalam kelas perlu diarahkan untuk mengenal lingkungan sekitarnya. Memanfaatkan lingkungan sebagai media pembelajaran sangatlah penting untuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiah. Sikap ilmiah akan tumbuh pada diri siswa, ketika pengetahuan yang dimilikinya masih terbatas maka akan tumbuh pada dirinya untuk menggali informasi yang lebih lanjut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis STEM pada materi perubahan energi untuk meningkatkan sikap ilmiah siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Developmnet. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah model 4D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar validasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis STEM yang meliputi: RPP nilai persentase rata-rata sebesar 76,40%, LKPD nilai rata-rata 75,93%, alat peraga nilai rata-rata 82,29%, dan instrumen sikap ilmiah nilai persentase rata-rata kevalidan sebesar 82,41%. Kesimpulannya bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model Project Based Learning (PjBL) berbasis STEM materi perubahan energi yang dikembangkan semuanya dikategorikan cukup valid. Validity of STEM-Based Project Based Learning Model Tools on the Subject of Energy Change to Improve Scientific Attitudes Abstract The science learning process in the classroom needs to be directed to get to know the surrounding environment. Using the environment as a learning medium is very important to improve scientific attitudes. Scientific attitude will grow in students, when the knowledge they have is still limited it will grow in themselves to explore further information. The purpose of this study is to develop STEM-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning tools on energy change materials to improve students' scientific attitudes. This research is a Research and Development research. The development model used in this study is the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The instrument used is a validation sheet. The results showed STEM-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model learning tools which included: RPP average percentage value of 76.40%, LKPD average value of 75.93%, teaching aids average value of 82.29%, and scientific attitude instruments average percentage value of validity of 82.41%. The conclusion is that the STEM-based Project Based Learning (PjBL) model learning tools for energy change materials developed are all categorized as quite valid.

Abstract

Physics instruction is critical for helping students develop thinking skills and practical skills through the engineering design process, however, they often find it difficult to apply the concepts of physics to solving real-world problems. Bungee jumping is one of the favorite real-world applications in Hooke’s law as it requires a physics calculation to design the bungee cord required to meet the specified safety criteria. The purpose of this study, therefore, was to investigate 35 high school student’s mastery of concepts on the behavior of the spring through the implementation of an engineering design process activity in the problem-solving laboratory instruction. A pre-experimental study with one group post-test design only was used to outline a problem-solving laboratory instruction and to assess students’ mastery of concepts after the instruction. We found that only 48% of students or fewer were able to make effective use of Hooke’s law to propose a solution and design a model related to the bungee cord problem. Although most students seemed to acquire a reasonable grasp of the energy concepts to solve the quantitative problems, it was found that there was a widespread tendency to improperly apply the conservation of energy concept to the context of jumping from a height in a qualitative problem. However, the physics behind designing bungee cords can be used to engage students in learning Hooke’s law. Such a hands-on pass-fail test of the student solutions provides them with more meaningful real experiences in applying physics calculation to a real solution.

Abstract

Metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes are two competencies that students should have after learning is carried out. However, in reality, the increase in these two competencies has so far not been optimal. This research aims to determine the effect of the Reading Concept Mapping-Student Team Achievement Division (Remap-STAD) learning model on students' metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental with the One-group Pretest-Posttest Design. The instrument used in this research is in the form of essay questions. The technique for assessing metacognitive skills and student learning outcomes is carried out in an integrated manner. Hypothesis testing was carried out using statistical tests by comparing two means (pretest mean and posttest mean) using Paired Samples t-test analysis. The results of data analysis show that there is an influence of the Remap-STAD learning model on students' metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes. Thus it can be concluded that the Remap-STAD learning model can be used as an alternative learning to improve metacognitive skills and student learning outcomes in higher education.

Abstract

The teaching campus is one of the programs run by the government in an effort to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of campus teaching programs in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills at the elementary school level. To realize this goal, experimental research was applied in this research. This research was conducted at SDN 11 Praya and SDN Tapon. The number of samples in this study was 57 students, with details of 27 students at SDN 11 Praya and 20 students at SDN Tapon. The sample in this study was taken using a simple random sampling technique. There are two instruments used in this research, namely literacy and numeracy ability test instruments. This test instrument has been prepared by the campus teaching team and is used externally in Indonesian schools. The test was carried out twice, namely at the beginning of the program (pretest) and at the end of the program (posttest). The test is carried out online using a computer and/or cellphone. The research data was then analyzed using normalized gain calculations (N-gain). Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that the Teaching Campus program was effective in increasing students' literacy and numeracy. The effectiveness of the teaching campus program in improving the literacy skills of students at SDN 11 Praya is in the medium category with an N-gain score of 0.59, while the effectiveness of the teaching campus program in improving the numeracy skills of students at SDN Tapon is in the high category with an N-gain score of 0 .78.

Abstract

Learning basic natural sciences is not only about understanding the universe, but also about developing the trained, critical and analytical thinking needed to succeed in various life contexts. Material in basic natural science learning often involves understanding complex concepts and abstract thought processes, so good metacognitive skills are needed in students. Well-developed metacognitive skills are very important so that students can understand basic concepts and principles well so that they are expected to have a significant correlation with student cognitive learning outcomes. The research uses correlational research methods. The variable relationship that will be looked at in the research is the relationship between metacognitive skills and students' cognitive learning outcomes in learning using the Reading Concept Mapping-Student Team Achievement Division (Remap-STAD) model. The subjects in this research were students who were taking basic natural science courses. Metacognitive skills are measured using an achievement test integrated with cognitive learning outcomes questions. The data analysis used in the research is correlation analysis and regression analysis. The research results show that there is a relationship between metacognitive skills and students' cognitive learning outcomes in learning using the Reading Concept-Student Team Achievement Divisions (ReMap-STAD) model. The correlation coefficient (r) value of metacognitive skills with cognitive learning outcomes is 0.945 (very high). The direction of the relationship between metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes is a positive relationship. The coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.893, so it can be explained that the variability in students' cognitive learning outcomes is determined by 89.3% by metacognitive skills. The regression significance value proves that the regression line equation can be used for predictions. The regression line equation for the relationship between metacognitive skills and cognitive learning outcomes using the Reading Concept-Student Team Achievement Divisions (ReMap-STAD) model is  =1.246+1.058X.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah termodinamika peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 1 Masbagik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimental dengan desain non-equivalent control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik Fase F kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Masbagik. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, sehingga terpilihlah kelas XI MIPA 2 sejumlah 36 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas XI MIPA 1 sejumlah 36 orang sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur kemampuan pemecahan masalah sejumlah 5 soal uraian pada materi termodinamika yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS) berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah termodinamika peserta didik.
