Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between hygiene practices and environmental sanitation on the incidence of stunting in the working area of Bahadopi Health Center, Kaurea Village, Morowali, Central Sulawesi, conducted in August-September 2022. The research used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional analytic study design. The study population consisted of 104 stunted children, with a sample size of 50 mothers and children. The results showed that 70% of respondents had good hygiene practices, while 30% had poor hygiene practices. Meanwhile, 70% of respondents lived in environments with poor sanitation, and 30% lived in environments with good sanitation. Fisher's Exact Test indicated a significant relationship between hygiene practices (p = 0.000) and environmental sanitation (p = 0.000) with the incidence of stunting, with p < α (α = 0.05). These findings emphasize the importance of hygiene practices and environmental sanitation in stunting prevention. Therefore, improvements in both aspects could play a crucial role in reducing the incidence of stunting in the community.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of health promotion media, namely slide media and social media (animated videos), in improving workers' knowledge and interest in HIV/AIDS and Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) at PT. X, Tabalong Regency, South Kalimantan. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design with a two-group pre-posttest method, involving 360 respondents. Group A received counseling using slide media, while Group B was educated through animated videos shared via WhatsApp. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge in both groups, with the slide media group demonstrating higher effectiveness compared to the social media group (p < 0.001). However, interest in VCT did not show a significant relationship with increased knowledge in either group (p > 0.05). Slide media proved to be more effective than social media in enhancing workers' knowledge of HIV/AIDS. These findings highlight the importance of using appropriate health promotion media to educate workers about health issues.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between work burden, service quality, and the well-being of non-ASN healthcare workers in the psychiatric inpatient unit of RSUD Batara Guru. The research used a quantitative correlational design (Kendall's Tau Test) with a cross-sectional approach. The data was collected from 30 non-ASN healthcare workers in the psychiatric inpatient unit using purposive sampling. The results showed that: (1) Work burden significantly affects service quality (ρ = 0.000 < 0.05), with a negative correlation indicating that higher work burden leads to lower service quality; (2) Work burden significantly affects the well-being of non-ASN healthcare workers (ρ = 0.010 < 0.05), with a negative correlation suggesting that higher work burden leads to lower well-being; (3) Service quality significantly affects the well-being of non-ASN healthcare workers (ρ = 0.001 < 0.05), with a positive correlation indicating that better service quality leads to better well-being. This research highlights the importance of managing work burden and improving service quality to enhance the well-being of healthcare workers.
