Abstract

Statistical Literacy is the ability of individuals to formulate, apply and interpret statistics in various contexts. This ability is very important possessed by students as a tool to solve problems when doing research or solve problems related to statistics. The ability of a person's statistical literacy is influenced by several factors such as prior knowledge and mathematical self esteem. So by optimizing these two factors, then the statistical literacy ability of students will develop well Based on these assumptions, this study aims to examine students' statistical literacy in terms of early knowledge and mathematical self esteem in basic statistics courses. Based on the purpose of the research, this research is descriptive quantitative research. Population as well as samples in this study are all students of Primary Education of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Academic Year 2019/2020 which amounted to 34 students. Data collection techniques use test of statistical literacy, test of early knowledge and mathematical self esteem scales. Data analysis in this research use descriptive and inferential statistic analysis. Based on the results of data analysis showed that (1) The mean of the prior knowledge (PK) of students that is equal to 9.79 (average), consists of a group of 10 students high prior knowledeg, 14 students average prior knowledge and 10 students low prior knowledge; (2) the mean of student's mathematical self esteem of 65,38 (average), consist of high mathematical self esteem group as many as 12 students, 14 students average mathematical self esteem and 8 students low mathematical self esteem; (3) the average of statistical literacy ability 58,68 with average category; (4) There is a significant difference of students' statistical literacy in terms of prior knowledge category (high, average, and low); (5) there is a significant difference of students' statistical literacy in terms of student's mathematical self esteem category (high, medium, low).

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the levels of validity, practicality, and effectiveness of an e-module using the Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach to support the mathematical literacy skills of junior high school (SMP/MTs) students on the topic of systems of linear equations with two variables. This study is a type of development research (research and development) employing the ADDIE model. The validation results indicate that the content experts achieved a percentage score of 92% in the "Very Valid" category, while the media experts obtained 89% in the "Very Valid" category. Teacher responses yielded a percentage score of 89% in the "Very Practical" category, and student responses resulted in 86% in the "Very Practical" category. Furthermore, the analysis of pretest and posttest data produced an N-Gain score of 0.63 in the "Medium" category, with an N-Gain percentage of 63% classified as "Quite Effective." Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the e-module with the RME approach to support mathematical literacy skills of SMP/MTs students on systems of linear equations with two variables is valid, practical, and effective for use as teaching material in Grade VIII at SMPN 1 Pabuaran.

Abstract

Kemampuan memecahkan masalah matematika adalah keterampilan penting yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pendidikan matematika, terutama berkaitan dengan pemahaman masalah, perancangan strategi, dan pengecekan solusi. Peningkatan keterampilan ini bisa dilakukan dengan menerapkan metode pembelajaran kolaboratif yang didukung oleh alat digital yang interaktif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi perbedaan dalam kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika antara mereka yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif Teams Games Tournament dengan Blooket dann model TGT. Penelitian ini menerapkan desain kuasi-eksperimen dengan Pretest-Posttest Non Equivalent Control Group Design yang dilakukan pada siswa kelas X di SMAN 5 Kota Serang selama tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari dua kelas yang diambil dengan metode cluster random sampling: kelas X2 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas X3 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes esai yang telah terbukti valid dan dapat diandalkan (Cronbach's alpha = 0,844). Hasil dari uji t untuk sampel independen menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada uji awal (p = 0,053), namun terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada uji akhir (p = 0,005). Penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran TGT dengan dukungan media Blooket lebih efektif dibandingkan dengan model TGT dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penggunaan TGT dengan dukungan Blooket sebagai strategi inovatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika.

Abstract

The readiness of students in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education to become teachers is an important foundation for producing competent educators. However, the quality of teachers in Indonesia is still relatively low, which is partly caused by insufficient preparation among prospective teachers. The Kampus Mengajar program, initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, was introduced to address this issue. This serves as the basis for conducting this study, which aims to determine whether the Kampus Mengajar program influences students’ readiness to become educators or teachers. Thisstudy employs a Systematic Literature Review method, which involves collecting secondary data in the form of scientific articles, journals, and other relevant sources related to the research topic.The research design involves analyzing, identifying, evaluating, and interpreting 11 articles that discuss the Kampus Mengajar program in nationally accredited journals (SINTA-indexed journals). The findings of this study indicate that the Kampus Merdeka program has a significant influence on students’ readiness to become teachers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Auditory Intellectual Repetition (AIR) learning model on students' mathematical concept comprehension using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) guidelines. The SLR process involves identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Data were obtained from the academic database Google Scholar with the help of the Publish or Perish application. Articles were collected using keywords relevant to the AIR model and mathematical concept comprehension, then selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria, resulting in 20 articles eligible for analysis. The synthesis of results indicates that the AIR learning model is generally effective in improving students' mathematical concept comprehension compared to conventional learning. This effectiveness is supported by the three stages of AIR: auditory, intellectual, and repetition, which help students gradually grasp concepts. Furthermore, the use of learning media such as GeoGebra, instructional videos, and technology-based applications can enhance the effectiveness of the AIR model. Thus, the AIR model can be an effective learning alternative for improving the quality of mathematics learning, particularly in improving students' understanding of mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi dalam bidang pendidikan melatarbelakangi penelitian ini. Pada pembelajaran di sekolah, mayoritas pendidik masih menggunakan metode ceramah dan buku teks konvensional sebagai media pembelajaran. hal tersebut memicu rendahnya partisipasi siswa dan membuat siswa merasa jenuh. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Android dengan menerapkan model PBL yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian menggunakan metode Research & Development dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi analisis, perancangan, pengembangan, implementasi, serta evaluasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan di salah satu sekolah SMA di Cilegon. Lokasi penelitian dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Cilegon dengan melibatkan tiga ahli materi, tiga ahli media, seorang guru matematika, serta 33 peserta didik kelas XI. Penilaian dari ahli materi memperoleh persentase 94,44% (sangat valid), uji ahli media memperoleh persentase 88,10% (sangat valid), respon siswa 88,98%(sangat praktis) dan respon guru 86,25% (sangat praktis). Hasil tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah 75,67%(efektif), sebanyak 25 dari 33 siswa tuntas. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian media pembelajaran dengan problem-based learning berbasis android layak diimplementasikan pada kegiatan pembelajaran matematika khususnya materi lingkaran.

Abstract

This development is motivated by the importance of numeracy skills for secondary school students. It is necessary to have learning resources supported by technological developments. However, the facts in the field show that existing learning resources are still conventional and have yet to lead to the achievement of student numeracy. Based on this background, this development aims to develop web-based student worksheets in mathematics learning in secondary schools. This research was conducted at MAN 1 Serang City for grade XI students. The development model used is the ADDIE model: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The instruments used to measure the feasibility of this teaching material are expert validation questionnaires consisting of media experts and material experts, practicality questionnaires, and numeracy tests. Based on the results of processing the expert validation questionnaire, the results obtained are the assessment of media experts in the form of LKPD getting an average percentage score of 85% with very feasible criteria, the assessment of media experts in the form of a web getting an average percentage of 82% with feasible criteria and the assessment of material experts getting an average percentage score of 83% with very feasible criteria. Based on the analysis results, the learner worksheets developed are valid for developing the numeracy of secondary school students.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the extent of research using TPACK on Mathematics Learning. This Systematic Review  used the PRISMA method and, with the help of the Publish or Perish and VOS Viewer software applications, obtained 142 articles from journals sourced from Scopus. The article journal is related to using the TPACK method in mathematics learning. It was found from the results of the literature review that the study of TPACK keywords could be categorized into (1) TPACK on the use of teaching/learning devices/tools and the development of learning innovations; (2) TPACK in learning planning; and (3) TPACK in evaluating teacher competency. The author believes that applying TPACK in mathematics learning requires careful planning and clear output/outcomes, so using tools can also provide optimal benefits. However, it must still be coupled with qualified teaching teachers' competence.

Abstract

Abstract Mathematics learning requires integrating affective and cognitive aspects, especially when students face complex tasks. This study aims to analyze the role of Self-confidence in Cognitive load in mathematics learning through a Systematic Literature Review. The review followed the 2020 Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guideline. Data were collected from Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish 8 application. From 100 initial articles, 17 relevant articles were selected for analysis. The findings show that studies on Self-confidence mainly focus on problem-solving ability, learning outcomes, engagement, and mathematical performance. Studies on Cognitive load tend to emphasize information processing, material complexity, thinking processes, and instructional strategies. The reviewed articles commonly use Cognitive load Theory, three dimensions of Cognitive load, questionnaires, and mathematical ability tests. Self-confidence has not been widely integrated with Cognitive load, although it may support students’ focus and mental effort in understanding mathematical concepts. This study concludes that the integration of Self-confidence and Cognitive load remains a research gap in mathematics learning. Abstrak Pembelajaran matematika menuntut keterpaduan aspek afektif dan kognitif, terutama ketika peserta didik menghadapi tugas yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Self-confidence dalam Cognitive load pada pembelajaran matematika melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review. Kajian ini mengacu pada pedoman Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses 2020. Data diperoleh dari Google Scholar dengan bantuan aplikasi Publish or Perish 8. Dari 100 artikel awal, sebanyak 17 artikel relevan dipilih untuk dianalisis. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa penelitian Self-confidence lebih banyak berfokus pada kemampuan pemecahan masalah, hasil belajar, keterlibatan, dan performa matematis. Penelitian Cognitive load cenderung menekankan proses pengolahan informasi, kompleksitas materi, proses berpikir, dan strategi pembelajaran. Artikel yang dikaji umumnya menggunakan Cognitive load Theory, tiga dimensi Cognitive load, angket, dan tes kemampuan matematis. Self-confidence belum banyak diintegrasikan dengan Cognitive load, meskipun berpotensi mendukung fokus dan usaha mental peserta didik dalam memahami konsep matematika. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi Self-confidence dan Cognitive load masih menjadi celah kajian dalam pembelajaran matematika.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Flipped Classroom model assisted by digital media on students' mathematical critical thinking skills. The method used was a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) referring to the PRISMA stages, including identification, screening, eligibility, and article inclusion. From 46 articles accredited in SINTA 4 to SINTA 1 and Scopus published between 2016 and 2025, 20 articles met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively with research subjects consisting of elementary, junior high school, senior high school students, and university students. The results of the review indicate that the implementation of the Flipped Classroom model assisted by digital media has a positive effect on students' mathematical critical thinking skills and also improves conceptual understanding, problem-solving skills, active engagement, and learning independence. Digital media such as learning videos and e-learning platforms help students study materials independently, making classroom learning processes more effective. Therefore, the Flipped Classroom model assisted by digital media can be an effective learning alternative in supporting the development of students' mathematical critical thinking skills, although its effectiveness is influenced by instructional design, technological readiness, and teacher competence.
