Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengimplementasikan hilirisasi kepakaran dalam bidang manajemen pemasaran dan teknologi informasi melalui pengembangan sistem informasi kepuasan pelanggan dan posisi bersaing perusahaan berbasis artificial intelligence (AI) pada PT Sage Mashlahat Indonesia (PT SMI), produsen benih jagung dan padi hibrida. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mitra adalah belum tersedianya sistem terkomputerisasi untuk memantau dan mengevaluasi kepuasan pelanggan serta posisi bersaing perusahaan secara real-time. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan database dan analisis, pemodelan AI menggunakan metode backpropagation, implementasi sistem informasi berbasis web, serta diseminasi luaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sistem AI yang dikembangkan mampu menampilkan indikator-indikator kunci dalam bentuk visualisasi data yang akurat dan informatif, seperti retensi pelanggan, loyalitas, tingkat rekomendasi, dan keunggulan bersaing berbasis harga, kualitas, dan inovasi. Sistem ini terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas pengambilan keputusan manajemen PT SMI. Selain itu, kegiatan ini memperkuat kolaborasi strategis antara perguruan tinggi dan dunia usaha serta memberi pengalaman langsung kepada mahasiswa melalui keterlibatan dalam program magang industri. Pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi AI dalam sistem informasi perusahaan dapat menjadi solusi strategis dalam meningkatkan daya saing berbasis teknologi.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan petani vanili sangat penting untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan memastikan pertanian berkelanjutan. Inisiatif pengabdian masyarakat ini menghadirkan pengembangan dan implementasi micro climate controller berbasis IoT yang bertujuan untuk mengoptimalkan fase generatif Vanilla planifolia. Dengan menyediakan pemantauan dan kontrol lingkungan secara real time, inovasi ini mengatasi tantangan pembungaan dan pengembangan polong yang tidak konsisten yang dihadapi oleh petani vanila. Sistem ini mengintegrasikan sensor suhu, kelembaban, dan intensitas cahaya dengan unit kontrol pusat untuk mempertahankan kondisi optimal. Hasil dari uji coba lapangan menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam tingkat pembungaan dan kualitas hasil. Inisiatif ini menyoroti potensi teknologi IoT dalam mengubah praktik pertanian vanili tradisional dan meningkatkan mata pencaharian petani.

Abstract

The high demand for Maize encourages various agricultural innovations. The study aims to examine the effect of defoliation and P fertilizer application on the growth and production of the Madura 3 Maize variety which is grown in the close cropping system. This study used a randomized block design consisting of two factors with three replications. The parameters observed were stem diameter, root weight, cob fresh weight, cob dry weight, dry seed weight, and 100 seed weight. The results showed that there was a significant interaction between the defoliation factor and the dose of SP-36 on cob diameter, where the highest diameter (4,75 cm) was found in the combination of non-defoliation and SP-36 150 kg.ha-1. Overall, the non-defoliation of an SP-36 of 250 kg.ha-1 showed the best result on Maize growth and production. The addition of the dose of SP-36 also needs to pay attention to the needs of plants.

Abstract

Teaching Factory (TeFa) New Resto Kemuning Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) yang bertempat di desa Kemuning Lor, berada pada arah menuju destinasi wisata Rembangan. Berdasarkan survey pendahuluan diperoleh informasi bahwa kondisi TeFa New Resto Kemuningmasih belum terlihat optimal dalam hal kinerja tata kelola keuangan, sehingga kurang optimalnya pelayanan kepada konsumen, serta sebagai daya tarik tersendiri bagi TeFa New Resto Kemuningdalam hal penerapan modernisasi teknologi dan perkembangan jaman digitalisasi. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dari kurangnya kemampuan sumber dayanya dalam hal pengadaan dan penguasaan sistem informasi di TeFa New Resto Kemuningitu sendiri.  Terdapat beberapa permasalahan di TeFa New Resto Kemuningadalah: kurang optimalnya kinerja tata kelola keuangan; sistem pemesanan (reservasi dan menu) serta pembayaran yang masih manual. Solusi permasalahan dan uraian singkat yang dilakukan dan ditawarkan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan dan pembuatan sistem informasi keuangan berbasis website, guna dapat menampilkan reservasi, daftar menu, serta proses pembayarannya. Untuk jadwal pemesanan yang tersedia dapat dipilih dengan memasukkan alamat dan selanjutnya melakukan pembayaran secara online. Kondisi inilah yang membuat tim pengabdian bermaksud melakukan kegiatan pengabdian dengan tujuan untuk membantu meningkatkan kinerja TeFa New Resto Kemuning dalam hal penguatan sistem informasi sebagai inovasi pendukung kinerja bisnis dan daya tarik pengunjung yang sekaligus sebagai pengembangan unit bisnis.

Abstract

Cowpea (Vigna unguiculata L.) is one of the food crops with relatively high protein content, but its production remains relatively low. The applied cultivation technology is still not optimal, resulting in no significant increase in cowpea production. This study aims to determine the effect of applying various concentrations of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) on the growth and production of cowpea. The research was conducted at the Jember State Polytechnic field from July 2024 to October 2024. The study used a Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments consisted of PGPR concentrations of 0 ml/L, 18 ml/L, 29 ml/L, 40 ml/L, and 51 ml/L. The observed variables included plant height, stem diameter, number of sample pods, fresh weight of sample pods, fresh weight of pods per plot, dry weight of sample pods, dry weight of pods per plot, dry seed weight per plot, and weight of 100 seeds per plot. The results showed that the PGPR treatment at a concentration of 51 ml/L significantly affected plant height, dry seed weight of samples, and weight of 100 seeds per plot. This is likely due to the role of PGPR as a biofertilizer and biostimulant. However, there were no significant differences in stem diameter, number of sample pods, fresh weight of sample pods, fresh weight of pods per plot, dry weight of sample pods, dry weight of pods per plot, and dry seed weight per plot.

Abstract

Understanding the development planning priorities and commodity sub-sector in Jember Regency, it is necessary to acknowledge the prime sub-sector and the primary commodity sector in Jember Regency. Regional products should be able to prioritize the sub-sector and the preferred crop, prime and which is considered a sub-sector basis to optimize the food security in the region. The research was conducted from 2016 to 2021 by several analysis methods: Location Quotient, Analytical Hierarchy Process, and Exponential Comparative Method. The criteria used are based on seven normative criteria. The results showed that plantation and horticultural crops were the basis of sectors in the 2016-2020 survey, with values of 2,1036 and 1,3879. Based on the analytical hierarchy process and exponential comparative method analysis, it is seen that there are many leading commodities in the agriculture sector. These commodities are orange fruit, durian, banana, mushrooms, chili, coffee, and sugarcane.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an AI-based marketing Intelligence Model as an effort to support strategic decision-making in the development of Teaching Factory products at the Jember State Polytechnic. The study addresses the challenge of optimizing product planning and market positioning within educational manufacturing environments. An integrated approach combining internal production data from Teaching Factory operations with external market data, including price trends, consumer behavior patterns, and competitor activities, was implemented. The methodology employs K-Means Clustering algorithms for consumer segmentation analysis and advanced forecasting algorithms for demand prediction. The system architecture encompasses comprehensive data collection, preprocessing, modeling, and visualization components delivered through an interactive web-based prototype. Preliminary results demonstrate the model's capability to generate enhanced market segmentation accuracy and reliable demand projections, thereby supporting improved production planning and strategic marketing decisions for Teaching Factory operations. The implementation shows promising potential for educational institutions seeking to optimize their product development and market intelligence capabilities.

Abstract

Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia) is one of the agricultural commodities with high economic value, but its cultivation faces various challenges, including climate change and suboptimal environmental management. Conventional microclimate control methods are primarily manual and reactive, often failing to maintain stable conditions during the critical phase of generation. Technological innovations, especially IoT-based microclimate controllers, enable real-time monitoring and automated regulation of temperature, humidity, and light, thereby reducing environmental fluctuations that negatively affect flowering and yield. This research aims to develop and apply an IoT-based microclimate controller that optimizes growth conditions during the generative phase of vanilla, and to evaluate its impact on growth and crop yields. The study was conducted over a 3-month generative period, using 30 vanilla plants per group (n = 60 in total), with three replications. Data were collected weekly and analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-tests to compare growth and yield performance. The results show that IoT-based microclimate controllers significantly improved optimal temperature and humidity stability, increasing plant growth and crop yields. The average stem length and number of flowers per plant increased by 30% and 25%, respectively, compared to the control group, while vanillin content rose from 1.8% to 2.5%. These findings offer new insights into sustainable vanilla cultivation management, which can be adopted by farmers to enhance productivity and quality. Recommendations for further research include developing more advanced systems, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and applying these technologies in different climatic conditions.

Abstract

Seiring perkembangan jaman dan tingkat persaingan usaha yang semakin ketat, memacu perusahaan dan para pelaku bisnis untuk dapat meningkatkan keunggulan bersaingnya agar bisa bertahan dan memenangkan persaingan usaha. Usaha kecil tidak cukup hanya memiliki keungggulan komparatif, namun yang lebih penting adalah memiliki keungggulan bersaing yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan menguji pengaruh inovasi dan modal intelektual terhadap keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan, serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja bisnis. Penelitian ini juga dilakukan untuk mengembangkan model teoritik kinerja bisnis melalui keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan, serta anteseden inovasi dan modal intelektual. Enam hipotesis dikembangkan dan diuji dalam kerangka sampel 145 industri beras Indonesia di Jawa Timur. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah pemodelan persamaan struktural dengan perangkat lunak LISREL 8.8. Hasil penelitian ini memperkuat teori dasar sumber daya dan pengetahuan, bahwa inovasi dan modal intelektual sebagai anteseden strategis. Hal tersebut terbukti efektif di dalam menciptakan keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan dan berimplikasi pada meningkatnya kinerja bisnis, serta inovasi dan modal intelektual berperan penting dan merupakan kunci sukses untuk bertahan dan berkembang di dalam menciptakan keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan kontribusi penting keunggulan bersaing berkelanjutan yang dibuktikan mampu memediasi inovasi dan modal intelektual dalam meningkatkan kinerja bisnis perusahaan.
