Abstract

Leadership plays a significant role in shaping employee experiences in the workplace, especially in creating an environment that supports satisfaction and organizational commitment. The interaction between leaders and employees not only influences work motivation but also determines the level of individual loyalty and attachment to the organization. Therefore, a deep understanding of the dynamics of leadership and its impact on employees is essential in efforts to improve organizational performance and sustainability. This study aims to explore how transformational leadership influences employee job satisfaction and organizational commitment through their experiences and interactions in the workplace. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach that allows for an in-depth analysis of employee perceptions and experiences related to leadership in their organizations. Data were obtained from various relevant sources, such as previous research results, and then systematically analyzed to identify key patterns and findings. The results showed that effective leadership plays a role in creating a sense of belonging and employee attachment to the organization. Support, appreciation, and good communication from leaders increase employee job satisfaction and motivation. In addition, responsive and empathetic leadership contributes to long-term employee commitment, which ultimately has an impact on improving organizational performance and stability.

Abstract

According to the Central Bureau of Statistics, educated workers are workers who gain expertise through formal education such as schools or universities with the highest education completed by senior high school. The difficulty of educated workers getting jobs with high requirements, this study aims to determine and analyze how the influence of wages, investment (PMA, PMDN, regional equity participation) and government spending on the absorption of educated labor. The data used is obtained from the West Sumatra Central Statistics Agency and the Ministry of Finance's djpk in 2018-2023 with 19 districts / cities using the panel data regression method processed through eviews12 the results of the analysis show that regional equity participation is the only independent variable that has a negative and significant effect, While the variable of PMDN wages and government spending is not significant on the absorption of educated labor in 2018-2023 policy recommendations for further research can be carried out research on other factors that affect the absorption of educated labor in West Sumatra. The author suggests that the government review the wage policy and job search requirements in West Sumatra, it is hoped that the government can also pay attention to the quality of human resources in order to compete, and it is hoped that future researchers will add other variables to better represent the state of employment in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Podomoro method in improving the learning outcomes of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) on the material of Hindu-Buddhist Kingdoms in the Archipelago. The subjects of the study were fourth grade students of MIN 20 Banjar in semester 2. The Podomoro method, which prioritizes learning with work and rest time division techniques, is applied to improve students' concentration and understanding of historical material. This study uses a quantitative method with an experimental design. Data were collected through learning outcome tests before and after the application of the Podomoro method, as well as observations and interviews with students and teachers. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the application of the Podomoro method. Students became more focused, motivated, and found it easier to understand the concept of Hindu-Buddhist kingdoms compared to conventional learning methods. Thus, the Podomoro method can be used as an alternative in IPAS learning, especially in history material, to improve the effectiveness of learning and student learning outcomes. This study recommends the use of this method more widely in other subjects to improve the quality of learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

water turbidity monitoring system has been created using a turbidity sensor and LoRa Ebyte E220 transceiver for the provision of drinking water and community sanitation (PAMSIMAS). The tool designed in this research uses two LoRa Ebyte E220 transceivers, one functions as a transmitter (sender), and the other functions as a receiver (receiver). The sending unit is equipped with a SEN0189 turbidity sensor to detect water turbidity levels, as well as a NodeMCU ESP8266 as a data processor and sender. The receiving unit is equipped with a NodeMCU ESP8266 as a data processor, an LCD to display the results of monitoring turbidity levels, and a buzzer as an alarm that sounds if the water turbidity exceeds a certain threshold. The webserver used is ThingSpeak. The research results show that the system is capable of transmitting water turbidity level data through the air by the Ebyte E220 LoRa transceiver. The SEN0189turbidity sensor system has an average error percentage of 7.6%. This error can be caused by several factors, including the sensor's sensitivity to changes in light intensity, variations in impurity particles in the water, and the sensor's inability to distinguish the types of particles present in the water. LoRa transceivers can transmit data when there is a barrier up to 800 m, while without a barrier it reaches 2000 m. The values obtained from the sensors are displayed on the LCD and ThingSpeak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam peran filsafat ilmu dalam pembentukan etika dalam konteks pendidikan. Filsafat ilmu dipahami sebagai refleksi kritis, rasional, dan sistematis terhadap dasar-dasar pengetahuan ilmiah, termasuk struktur logis, metode, serta nilai-nilai etis yang melandasinya. Filsafat memberikan fondasi berpikir yang penting bagi pendidikan, karena mampu menjembatani antara pengetahuan teoritis dengan pemaknaan moral dalam proses pembelajaran. Pendidikan yang dibangun di atas dasar filsafat ilmu memungkinkan terwujudnya manusia yang tidak hanya cerdas secara intelektual, tetapi juga memiliki kesadaran etis yang tinggi. Dalam kaitannya dengan pendidikan, filsafat menjadi penuntun dalam merumuskan tujuan, metode, dan substansi pembelajaran yang berakar pada nilai-nilai moral. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dan analisis hermeneutik terhadap sumber-sumber literatur relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa filsafat ilmu memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam memperkuat landasan etika akademik, khususnya dalam membentuk integritas, tanggung jawab moral, serta sikap kritis di lingkungan pendidikan.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh diameter dan ketebalan pasir silika pada saringan pasir lambat (SPL) dalam menurunkan parameter kualitas air seperti kekeruhan, Total Padatan Terlarut (TDS), pH, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), dan Total Coliform pada air Sungai Remeneng, Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Air sungai yang digunakan sebagai sumber utama kebutuhan sehari-hari penduduk telah tercemar oleh limbah domestik dan pertanian yang menyebabkan kualitas air menurun. Penelitian dilakukan dengan variasi ketebalan pasir (10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, dan 25 cm) dan variasi diameter pasir silika (10 Mesh, 20 Mesh, dan 30 Mesh). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa SPL mampu menurunkan nilai kekeruhan, TDS, pH, COD, dan Total Coliform secara signifikan. Nilai kekeruhan terbaik diperoleh dari ketebalan 25 cm dan diameter 30 Mesh sebesar 19,8 NTU. Sedangkan penurunan COD dari 104 mg/L menjadi 90 mg/L dicapai pada ketebalan 25 cm dan diameter 10 Mesh, meskipun nilai COD tersebut masih melebihi baku mutu 80 mg/L sesuai dengan Peraturan Pemerintah No. 22 Tahun 2021. Parameter Total Coliform juga mengalami penurunan yang cukup signifikan, dengan hasil terbaik pada ketebalan 25 cm dan diameter 10 Mesh sebesar 230 mpn/ml. Kesimpulannya, saringan pasir lambat dengan variasi ketebalan dan diameter pasir silika efektif untuk menurunkan parameter kekeruhan, TDS, pH, dan Total Coliform, namun untuk parameter COD, meskipun terjadi penurunan, namun hasilnya masih belum memenuhi baku mutu.Abstract: This study aims to assess the effect of diameter and thickness of silica sand on slow sand filters (SPL) in reducing water quality parameters, such as turbidity, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), pH, Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), and Total Coliform, in Remeneng River water, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. River water used as the main source of daily needs of the population is polluted by domestic and agricultural waste, which causes water quality to decline. The research was conducted with sand thickness variation (10 cm, 15 cm, 20 cm, and 25 cm) and silica sand diameter variation (10 Mesh, 20 Mesh, and 30 Mesh). The results showed that SPL was able to significantly reduce turbidity, TDS, pH, COD, and Total Coliform values. The best turbidity value was obtained from a thickness of 25 cm and a diameter of 30 Mesh of 19.8 NTU. While the decrease in COD from 104 mg/L to 90 mg/L was achieved at a thickness of 25 cm and a diameter of 10 Mesh, although the COD value still exceeds the quality standard of 80 mg/L in accordance with Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. The Total Coliform parameter also experienced a significant decrease, with the best results at a thickness of 25 cm and a diameter of 10 Mesh of 230 mpn/ml. In conclusion, slow sand filters with variations in thickness and diameter of silica sand are effective for reducing turbidity, TDS, pH, and Total Coliform parameters, but for COD parameters, although there is a decrease, the results still do not meet the quality standards.

Abstract

Manajemen pendidikan adalah suatu proses yang melibatkan perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi sumber daya pendidikan untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang telah ditetapkan. Pasalnya, sistem pendidikan diharuskan mengikuti kebutuhan peserta dididik dan konteks masyarakat yang terus mengalami perubahan. Dalam konteks ini, manajemen pendidikan tidak hanya berfokus pada aspek administratif, tetapi juga pada pengelolaan kurikulum, tenaga pendidik, fasilitas, dan keuangan, yang kesemuanya saling terkait dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan efektif. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar mengenai konsep dan prinsip manajemen pendidikan, serta pentingnya penerapannya dalam konteks sistem pendidikan modern. Melalui analisis berbagai literatur dan pandangan dari beberapa ahli, manajemen pendidikan diuraikan sebagai kunci untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan memastikan efisiensi dalam penggunaan sumber daya yang ada.

Abstract

Guidance and counseling are activities that are closely related to everyday human life, where every individual, including students, faces various problems. In the school environment, the role of guidance and counseling teachers is very important in helping students overcome academic and personal problems. SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur is the focus of this study to analyze the implementation of guidance and counseling and the challenges faced in its implementation. This study aims to describe the implementation of guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and analyze problems that often arise in the implementation of guidance and counseling services at the school. The method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, documentation, and interviews. The research informants consisted of guidance and counseling teachers and a student who had consulted. The results of the study showed that one of the main problems in the implementation of guidance and counseling is the perception of students who consider guidance and counseling teachers as peers. This affects the effectiveness of the services provided, thus impacting the quality of guidance received by students. Guidance and counseling at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur requires more attention to understanding the role of guidance and counseling teachers so that the relationship that is established remains professional and effective in solving student problems.

Abstract

This study aims to improve elementary school students’ literacy skills through the implementation of the storytelling method combined with interactive technology media. The research focused on fifth-grade students at SDN Mekarmulya III, who already possess basic reading skills but still require reinforcement in comprehending reading content, particularly in the context of Islamic Religious Education learning. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consisted of three stages: pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ literacy comprehension: from only 11% achieving the minimum mastery criteria in the pre-cycle, to 56% in cycle I after the application of storytelling, and reaching 100% in cycle II following the use of interactive video as a supporting medium. The storytelling method successfully captured students’ attention and increased their participation, while interactive media enhanced their visual and emotional understanding. In conclusion, integrating storytelling with digital technology proved effective in enhancing students' literacy on cognitive, affective, and social levels. This study recommends the broader application of similar strategies in learning, along with support from educational institutions in providing adequate digital facilities.
