Abstract

This study aims to analyze the genealogy, values, practices, and implications of the Muhammadiyah prophetic movement in the socio-religious life of the Karama Bura Village community in Dompu. This study uses a qualitative approach with a historical-sociological design to trace the emergence and development of the Muhammadiyah movement at the local level and the dynamics of its interaction with the social and cultural structures of the village community. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with Muhammadiyah and community leaders, participant observation, and documentation studies of archives and related literature. Data analysis was conducted interactively through the stages of data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the Muhammadiyah prophetic movement in Karama Bura Village in Dompu developed through a contextual process of adaptation and social construction. Prophetic values based on transcendence, humanization, and liberation are manifested in persuasive and sustainable da'wah (Islamic proselytizing), education, and social activities. This movement has implications for social change in the form of strengthening the ethos of community independence and solidarity, religious change through the rationalization of worship practices, and cultural transformation toward progressive Islamic values. This research confirms that studying Islamic movements at the local level is crucial for understanding the dynamics of pluralistic, moderate, and transformative Indonesian Islam.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the civic culture among the younger generation in Koto Majidin Village within the Nyalaba Gela tradition led by traditional leaders. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the declining interest of the younger generation in the Nyalaba Gela tradition is influenced by several factors, including a lack of motivation to understand and participate in traditional activities, the impact of modernization and technological advancement that shifts attention toward social media, and limited involvement of youth in customary events. These conditions lead to a diminished sense of responsibility and belonging toward the preservation of the tradition. Efforts to sustain the continuity of the tradition include strengthening the role of parents in instilling cultural values from an early age and encouraging greater youth participation in customary activities to foster responsibility in preserving the Nyalaba Gela tradition.

Abstract

In the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) face significant pressure to adapt to digital transformation. However, a major problem persists: many business owners lack the technical skills to build websites and perceive the process as costly and complex, leaving them reliant solely on social media algorithms. To address this gap, a community service program titled "Build Your Business Website Without Coding Experience" was implemented to assist SMEs in establishing a professional digital presence. The solution offered was a comprehensive training program combining a webinar on the urgency of frontend design with a technical workshop on template-based website management using Visual Studio Code, GitHub, and Vercel. This method allowed participants to modify and deploy websites without extensive programming knowledge. The outcomes were significant; participants showed a marked improvement in digital literacy, with average understanding scores increasing from 82.95 in the pre-test to 92.4 in the post-test. Furthermore, participants successfully deployed their own business websites, proving that this practical approach effectively lowers technical barriers and enhances SME competitiveness in the digital ecosystem.

Abstract

The utilization of digital technology has become essential in business development. However, many young entrepreneurs, students, and members of the general public still face difficulties in developing professional business websites due to limited technical knowledge and lack of structured guidance. This community service program aimed to enhance participants’ digital literacy and practical skills in developing responsive business websites using the Bootstrap framework. The program applied an educative and participatory method through online webinars and hands-on workshops. Webinar sessions delivered conceptual materials on business websites, web development fundamentals, responsive design, and Bootstrap introduction, while workshop sessions provided direct guidance for building website structures and implementing Bootstrap components. Program effectiveness was measured using pretest, posttest, and participant feedback. The pretest results showed an average score of 79.5 with varied initial understanding. After the program, the posttest average increased to 92.32, with most participants achieving high scores. Participant feedback also indicated high satisfaction with material relevance, instructor competence, and online service quality. These results demonstrate that the combination of webinars and workshops effectively improves participants’ knowledge, digital literacy, and ability to independently develop Bootstrap-based business websites.
