Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of ecotourism as a learning resource in instilling environmental love values through nature-based education. Using a qualitative approach, this research involves elementary school students participating in ecotourism activities designed to enhance environmental awareness. The findings indicate that student involvement in outdoor activities focused on local ecosystems not only increases their knowledge about the environment but also triggers positive changes in pro-environmental behavior. Additionally, collaboration between schools and local communities provides relevant context for students, strengthening their understanding of local wisdom and sustainable practices. These findings emphasize the importance of integrating ecotourism into the education curriculum as an effective method for instilling environmental love values among the younger generation. This study recommends that schools actively implement ecotourism programs and engage local communities in the educational process to create individuals who are more caring and responsible toward the environment.

Abstract

The results of the needs analysis show that the learning process in schools has been carried out but has not been utilized optimally. This study aims to develop an assessment to measure science process skills and to determine the feasibility of developing an assessment. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D). The development model used is 4-D with 4 stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. The subjects of this study were 30 grade 4 students. The data analysis technique used in this study is the percentage of product eligibility criteria, reliability, using reliability test criteria, differentiating power analysis, using differentiating criteria. The results of developing an assessment to measure science process skills in science subjects in elementary schools were obtained from the validation of 73.3% assessment experts, 89.28% material experts, and 89.28% linguists. The feasibility of the science assessment to measure students' science process skills is based on expert validators; the results meet the requirements and are based on the validity of valid and reliable test items that can be used to measure science process skills. The items are stated to be good and reliable so that they can be used to measure science process skills. Making science learning assessments to measure science process skills requires a team of experts, so the questions developed need more references to produce quality, creative and varied questions.

Abstract

Teachers' lack of understanding regarding the concept and purpose of dance education affects the design of learning programs, which tend to be monotonous and less creative. This condition impacts students' dance movement skills in elementary schools. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of Doratoon media based on local cultural arts in improving students' dance movement skills. The research employed a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest type, where one group was tested before and after using the learning media. The research instrument was a dance movement skills test administered to students. The data were analyzed using hypothesis testing through a t-test. The results showed that the use of Doratoon media based on local culture was highly effective in improving students' dance movement skills, as evidenced by the tvalue being higher than the ttable (9.42 > 2.262). Moreover, the developed dance skills video media has the potential to be published through YouTube as an effort to expand learning access and improve dance skills more actively and creatively. The conclusion of this study is that Doratoon media can be effectively used as an alternative local culture-based learning tool to enhance students' dance movement skills in elementary schools.

Abstract

Numerical ability is the basis for students in working on solving math problems and is one of the indicators for assessing the Minimum Competency Assessment. Based on the PISA results released by the OECD, Indonesia's numeracy literacy level was ranked 74th out of 79 countries, this shows that Indonesia's numeracy literacy level is still very low. This study aims to analyze the numeracy skills of fifth-grade students through self-efficacy in elementary schools. The type of research used is causal-comparative research, also known as ex-post facto research with a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were 32 grade 5 students. The research instruments used were self-efficacy questionnaires, and numeracy skills test questions. Data analysis in this study used descriptive and inferential statistics in simple linear regression analysis. The research results show that students' self-efficacy can significantly improve their numeracy skills. Students' numeracy skills are influenced by student self-efficacy by 51.2%. Meanwhile, 48.8% is influenced by other factors besides self-efficacy. The results of this study also show that the better the students' self-efficacy, the better their numeracy literacy skills will be.

Abstract

Pembelajaran geometri di sekolah dasar sering kali menghadapi tantangan dalam meningkatkan nalar kritis siswa, mengingat sifat materi yang abstrak dan kurangnya metode yang menarik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas media kotebak barang dalam meningkatkan nalar kritis siswa kelas V pada pembelajaran geometri. Metode yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi-eksperimental, melibatkan 40 siswa yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok: eksperimen dan kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes nalar kritis yang terdiri dari 20 soal. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis (uji t dan uji non-parametrik). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media kotebak barang secara signifikan meningkatkan nalar kritis siswa dalam geometri, dengan hasil uji t menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap teori pembelajaran geometri dan berpikir kritis, serta menawarkan implikasi praktis bagi pengajaran di sekolah dasar, dengan mendorong penggunaan media interaktif dalam pembelajaran matematika untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya pendekatan pedagogis dalam pendidikan matematika dan meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran geometri di tingkat dasar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using picture card media on the cognitiveabilities of 3rd-grade students at SDN Mandala I on the topic of life cycles of living things. This research used a quantitative experimental method with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research sample consisted of all 3rd-grade students at SDN Mandala I, totaling 10 students. The research instrument was an objective test with 10 questions.Data were analyzed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, validity test, Cronbach'sAlpha reliability test, and paired sample t-test with the help of IBM SPSS 29. Thenormality test results showed that the data were normally distributed (p > 0.05). Thevalidity test showed that the instrument was valid (r-calculated > r-table and p < 0.05).The reliability test showed that the instrument was reliable (Cronbach's Alpha = 0.716).The paired sample t-test results showed a significant difference between pretest andposttest scores after using picture card media. It was concluded that the use of picturecard media had a positive effect on improving students' cognitive abilities regarding lifecycle material of living things.

Abstract

Transformasi pendidikan di era Industri 5.0 menuntut guru untuk adaptif terhadap teknologi dan inovatif dalam merancang pembelajaran yang kontekstual dan interaktif. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam mengembangkan dan memanfaatkan media pembelajaran digital berbasis Augmented Reality (AR) melalui aplikasi Assemblr Edu. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di SDN Baban I, Kabupaten Sumenep sebagai Mitra pengabdian, dengan melibatkan 18 orang guru sebagai peserta aktif. Metode pelatihan menggunakan pendekatan participatory educational yang menggabungkan praktik langsung (hands-on training), pendampingan, dan refleksi kolaboratif. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan kompetensi guru, dengan rata-rata skor meningkat dari 50,1 (pre-test) menjadi 83,98 (post-test). Aspek yang mengalami peningkatan meliputi penguasaan teknis aplikasi Assemblr Edu, integrasi media Augmented Reality (AR) ke dalam modul ajar, kemampuan merancang media interaktif, serta kepercayaan diri dalam menggunakan teknologi digital. Pelatihan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan partisipatif berbasis praktik efektif dalam memperkuat literasi digital guru, kompetensi guru dan menjawab tantangan pendidikan pada abad ke-21.

Abstract

Empowering Early Childhood Communities through the Friendly Child House Program in Aenganyar Village, Giligenting Island, Sumenep. This program aims to provide special attention to early childhood and empower them through education, healthcare, social support, and parental empowerment. The program has a positive impact on improving the quality of life for children, developing skills, and promoting social values. Furthermore, it also builds strong relationships between children and the adults involved. The importance of empowering early childhood communities not only affects the present but also the future of children and society as a whole. Children are considered valuable assets to society and the nation, and ensuring they receive proper attention and support is a collective responsibility. The success of this program serves as an example for similar initiatives elsewhere and inspires further efforts in empowering early childhood.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran big book berbasis STEAM terhadap kemampuan numerasi pada mata pelajaran matematika peserta didik fase B di SDN Pajagalan III. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes yang sesuai dengan indikator kemampuan numerasi. Analisis penelitian ini menggunakan uji independent sample t test setelah sebelumnya dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas terhadap instrumen penelitian, serta dilakukan uji normalitas sebagai uji prasyarat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,001<0,05 yang artinya media pembelajaran big book berbasis STEAM berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan numerasi peserta didik.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas integrasi antara Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial (IPS) dan Matematika dalam konteks pendidikan. Fokus utama adalah bagaimana konsep geografis daerah dalam IPS dapat diintegrasikan dengan penggunaan diagram Venn dan bilangan bulat dalam Matematika. Melalui berbagai contoh dan penjelasan, artikel ini menunjukkan bagaimana integrasi ini dapat memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa dan membantu mereka memahami dunia secara lebih holistik. Artikel ini juga membahas tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi dalam proses integrasi dan memberikan saran tentang bagaimana mengatasinya. Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk memberikan wawasan dan rekomendasi yang berguna bagi praktisi pendidikan dalam mengimplementasikan pendekatan integratif ini dalam pengajaran mereka.
