Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the application of the Snowball-Throwing learning model based on local wisdom on the critical reasoning ability of grade IV students in science lessons at SDN Lalangon 1. The quantitative method was used in this study with a quasi-experimental design of a nonequivalent control group, which involved the experimental class and the control class. Simple random sampling was used to determine the control class and the experimental class, so that the control class was class IVA (23 students) and the experimental class was class IVB (22 students). Data collection techniques include interviews, tests, observations and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive data analysis, normality test, homogeneity, and independent T-test on normal data, and Mann-Whitney test on abnormal data with the help of SPSS-23. The results showed that the average post-test of the control class (65,217) was lower than that of the experimental class (77,841). The results of the independent T-test had a significance value of 0.024 ( 0.05), proving that the Snowball-Throwing model based on local wisdom had a significant effect on students' critical reasoning skills in the fourth-grade science lesson of SDN Lalangon 1. In addition, the average achievement of critical reasoning indicators in the experimental class (66%) was higher than that of the control class (44%). Thus, this learning model is not only effective in improving students' critical reasoning skills, but also introducing local wisdom of traditional Sumenep food in a meaningful way.

Abstract

Character education is an effort made by educators to form good character in students. It includes creativity, feeling, and intention so that it can be applied in everyday life and can be helpful in the surrounding environment. The character of love for the homeland is an attitude that reflects a sense of pride in the Indonesian nation. For that, the character of the ideals of the motherland needs to be instilled in every citizen. The background of this study is the lack of knowledge of students of the Jalan Kebun Guidance Studio about Indonesia because students of the Jalan Kebun Guidance Studio are children of illegal immigrant workers from Indonesia who live and grow up in a neighbouring country. This study aims to introduce traditional dance to strengthen the character of love for the homeland in SB Jalan Kebun, Selangor, Malaysia. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive case study research type. This study uses data collection through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study results showed that students were enthusiastic, experienced, and excited about learning the Nyello' Aeng dance, which contains the value of the love for the homeland.

Abstract

In this study, the problems found were the less-than-optimal use of technology-based media in schools, the low critical reasoning ability of students in science learning, and whether this Chrome book can improve students' critical reasoning. This study discusses how the influence of Chrome book media on students' essential abilities of reasoning in science learning. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design of the one-group pretest-posttest design. This study aims to test the effect of using Chromebook media on students' critical reasoning abilities in Elementary Schools. This study focuses on science learning with the material Energy Changes. The population in this study were all fourth-grade students of SD Negeri Kalianget Barat III in the 2024 academic year, as many as ten people. The design taken from this study is a group pretest-posttest design. Based on the calculation of the t-test, tcount = 13.4715 and ttable = 2.262157 were obtained. Thus, count ttable, then the hypothesis proposed is H1 = "There is an influence of the use of chrome books on students' critical reasoning abilities in science learning." The hypothesis is accepted.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan yang serius di Indonesia, terutama di daerah pedesaan. Stunting dapat memiliki dampak pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak, serta meningkatkan risiko terjadinya penyakit kronis di masa dewasa. Hal ini dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan peningkatan akses terhadap layanan kesehatan, gizi, dan sanitasi yang berkualitas di desa Aenganyar. Tenaga kesehatan juga memiliki peran penting dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat. Mereka dapat memberikan edukasi dan pelatihan kepada masyarakat tentang pentingnya gizi seimbang, pengenalan MP-ASI, dan pentingnya pola makan yang sehat. Selain itu, mereka juga dapat melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap status gizi anak-anak di desa Aenganyar. Keluarga perlu menyadari pentingnya pencegahan stunting dan menerapkan pola makan yang sehat dan bergizi bagi anak-anak mereka. Selain itu, mereka perlu mengakses dan layanan kesehatan yang berkaitan dengan pencegahan stunting, seperti imunisasi, pemberian ASI eksklusif, dan pemberian makanan pendamping ASI, sehingga pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak-anak di desa Aenganyar dapat meningkat.

Abstract

Community empowerment in preventing stunting must involve various parties, including local government, health workers, community leaders and families. This can be done by increasing access to quality health, nutrition and sanitation services in Aenganyar village. Health workers also have an important role in community empowerment. They can provide education and training to the public about the importance of balanced nutrition, the introduction of MP-ASI, and the importance of a healthy diet. Apart from that, they can also monitor and evaluate the nutritional status of children in Aenganyar village. Families need to realize the importance of preventing stunting and adopting a healthy and nutritious diet for their children. In addition, they need to access health services related to stunting prevention, such as immunization, exclusive breastfeeding and complementary feeding. By making efforts to empower the community in preventing stunting in Aenganyar village, it is hoped that it can reduce the prevalence of stunting in the area. This has a positive impact on the growth and development of children in Aenganyar village, as well as improving their quality of life and future.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untk mengetahui pengaruh kedisiplinan gruru terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa di SDN Brakas II. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan prangkat lunak SPSS Versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedisiplinan guru memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa, dengan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,488 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,003 <0,05. Nilai ini menunjukkan hubungan yang erat antara kedisiplinan guru dan pembentukan karakter siswa dalam kata lain bahwa peningkatan kedisiplinan guru dapat memperbaiki sikap, perilaku dan moralitas siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya peran guru sebagai teladan dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang tertib dan kondusif untuk mendukung optimalisasi pengembangan karakter siswa

Abstract

The modern world requires a wider perspective in life, one of which is about feminism which is a representation of gender equality, more specifically to fight discrimination against women. This study was used to examine one of children's book entitled, "Si Cantik dan Sang Pemberani " by Atikah Solihah with a qualitative descriptive method. The results show that the book describes of patriarchal cultures such as imposing the role of housewives, subordination of women, and depictions of women who are considered irrational, and toxic masculinity. Then the culture was destructed by the fact that the character, Pongota, which is a woman, managed to play two roles at once, between the feminine world (cooking and weaving) to the masculine world (war and self-defense), then met Sangarlang, a man who respects women and is not afraid of his self-esteem being destroyed just because Pongota is that great.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the results of the Science Problem Solving Test, describing students' Field Dependent and Field Independent cognitive styles in solving science problems. The research method used is Mixed Methods, which uses Sequential Explanatory Design. The research results showed that the field-independent and field-dependent students' science problem-solving tests were good. This is proven by using a one-sample t-test with a Sig (2-tailed) result of 0.005. which is smaller than 0.05. The cognitive style of field-dependent students in solving science problems, according to the Polya Stage theory, have difficulty absorbing information, so they do not understand the problem and are unable to explain using their sentences, think globally. The cognitive style of field-independent students in solving science problems is effortless to absorb information so that they can understand the situation thoroughly, analytically, and systematically so that they can present the correct solution steps by determining arithmetic operations that are relevant to the problem.

Abstract

This training aims to measure the effectiveness of the training and mentoring program in improving the scientific writing skills of Al-Muqri Prenduan High School students. Mentoring was carried out starting with a pretest and posttest on 19 students who were selected purposively. Data were analyzed using SPSS Statistics 21 software with validity, reliability, normality and t test (paired sample test). The results of the analysis show that the instrument is valid and reliable. The normality test ensures that the data is normally distributed. The t test results showed a significant increase in students' writing abilities, with a significant difference between the pretest (77.89) and posttest (97.89) scores. Based on the results above, this training program is effective in improving students' scientific writing skills and encouraging exploration of various fields of knowledge through research and scientific writing.

Abstract

Agar dapat menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif dan mencapai hasil yang maksimal, sebagai pendidik harus sadar dan mampu melakukan pembaharuan dalam pendidikan. Menggunakan media pembelajaran yang efektif, menarik, menyenangkan, dan bermakna bagi siswa merupakan salah satu metode pembaharuan pembelajaran. Dalam hal ini digunakan media pembelajaran wordwall. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran Wordwall terhadap hasil belajar siswa sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimental design tipe Post-test only control group design. Subyek penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN Gunggung 1 Kabupaten Sumenep dengan jumlah 69 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampling jenuh dengan jumlah sampel 35 orang siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan 34 orang siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa Post-test menggunakan soal tes dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran wordwall lebih unggul dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional atau tanpa melibatkan media pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran wordwall berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
