Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis  self adjustment pada mahasiswa dan menguji perbedaan self adjustment mahasiswa kelas internasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 212 mahasiswa kelas internasional Universitas Negeri Padang, dengan menggunakan total sampling yaitu menggunakan seluruh mahasiswa kelas internasional. Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif komparatif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah “Inventory Self Adjustment Puji and Verlanda” (ISAPUVE) dengan reliabilitas 0,80. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat perbedaan self adjustment mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan pada kelas internasional di Universitas Negeri Padang. Diharapkan UPBK (Unit Layanan Bimbingan dan Konseling) Universitas Negeri Padang memfasilitasi mahasiswa untuk dapat menekan self adjustment yang rendah melalui layanan yang tersedia di UPBK.

Abstract

Abstract: Aside from school, guidance and counseling service can also be provided at the Children’s Special Guidance Institute. Guidance and counseling are essential for child prisoners as it aids them in achieving their development tasks. However, up to recently, child prisoners have not had maximum access to guidance and counseling services due to limited human resources. This study used literature studies and documentary methods involving scientific articles, laws, books, or other works and studies related to the position of child prisoners in criminal cases. Abstrak: Pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling tidak hanya dapat digunakan di lingkungan sekolah namun juga dapat dilaksanakan pada Lembaga Pembinaan Khusus Anak (LPKA). Perlunya layanan bimbingan dan konseling kepada narapidana anak di penjara salah satunya adalah untuk membantu anak mencapai tugas perkembangan. Pada kenyataan di lapangan, narapidana anak masih belum dapat pelayanan bimbingan dan konseling secara maksimal karena keterbatasan sumber daya manusia. Metodologi yang digunakan dalam penulisan artikel ini adalah studi literatur dan dokumen, dimana peneliti melakukan studi kepustakaan berupa artikel, undang-undang, buku- ataupun jenis tulisan lainnya dan hasil kajian terhadap berbagai macam dokumen yang terkait dengan topik penempatan narapidana anak dalam kasus hukum pidana.

Abstract

Stunting menjadi masalah serius yang dapat berdampak jangka panjang pada kualitas hidup anak dan masa depannya. Untuk mengatasi stunting, perlu dilakukan penanganan holistik, pemenuhan gizi, pelayanan kesehatan, dan pemanfaatan pangan lokal seperti mengkonsumsi madu galo-galo. Madu galo-galo terbukti mengandung zat yang bermanfaat bagi kesehatan manusia, termasuk mineral, polifenol, vitamin, asam amino, karotenoid, enzim, asam organik, dan senyawa volatil. Madu galo-galo mengandung banyak nutrisi yang baik untuk tubuh dan dapat membantu mengurangi resiko stunting ketika dikonsumsi secara bersamaan dengan pola makan yang seimbang dan asupan gizi yang cukup. Karena mengandung sumber tambahan nutrisi, madu galo-galo dapat dikonsumsi untuk membantu anak yang mengalami stunting di Nagari Taram Kecamatan Harau. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman ibu mengenai stunting dan upaya pencegahannya di Nagari Taram Kecamatan Harau. Metode kegiatan yang digunakan berupa penyuluhan, ceramah dan tanya jawab mengenai pencegahan stunting kepada peserta posyandu. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 Februari 2024. Upaya ini dilakukan dengan harapan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif berupa penurunan angka stunting di Nagari Taram Kecamatan Harau, dan perbaikan kualitas sumber daya manusia di masa mendatang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas potensi daun kelor dalam upaya pencegahan stunting di Kecamatan Lintau Buo Pangian. Daun kelor kaya akan nutrisi penting seperti protein, kalsium, zat besi, vitamin A, dan antioksidan, menjadikannya sebagai sumber gizi yang berharga untuk mendukung pertumbuhan anak-anak yang rentan terhadap stunting. Metode penyuluhan dilakukan di posyandu Lubuk Batang dan Koto Kociak dengan tujuan meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat tentang stunting, manfaat daun kelor, dan perubahan perilaku menuju pola makan sehat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan efektif dalam merubah perilaku masyarakat terkait gizi dan konsumsi daun kelor sebagai strategi pencegahan stunting. Dengan pendekatan interaktif dan partisipatif, penyuluhan dapat memotivasi masyarakat untuk mengadopsi pola makan sehat yang mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan anak secara optimal.

Abstract

The research began with problems found in mildly mentally retarded students who had difficulty reading at SLB C Payakumbuh. After examining the characteristics of students, it is easier to read using picture word cards as media. The aim of the research is to prove that picture word card media can improve the word reading ability of mildly mentally retarded students at SLB C Payakumbuh. The type of research used is an experiment in the form of an SSR with an ABA design. Data collection uses techniques in the form of action tests with visual graphic data analysis. There have been 16 meeting sessions divided into 3 conditions. After using picture word card media as a form of intervention, it was proven that this media could improve the word reading ability of students with mild intellectual disabilities.

Abstract

In order to improve equitable access to education, the government implemented a zoning policy in the admission of new students from kindergarten to senior high school level. This research is conducted to explore the alignment between the zoning policy and the theory "Justice as Fairness" initiated by John Rawls. Literature study by reviewing various relevant reading materials is used as a method of this research. The results of this study include the alignment between the goal of equalizing education and Rawls' theory of justice. In addition, the policy's attention to economically disadvantaged students is also in line with Rawls' principle of justice, which prioritizes benefits to the most disadvantaged parties. Although this policy has a strong alignment with Rawls' theory of justice, its practice still causes many problems. In order to maximize the achievement of educational equity promoted by this policy, the government and all parties involved must always work together, and carry out this policy honestly, fairly, openly and critically.

Abstract

In this period the baby progresses from total dependence on others to relative autonomy from self-determination. Growth, development, maturity and learning produce enormous behavioral changes in infancy. In this final period he was able to stand and walk. The baby's behavior is initially related to breastfeeding behavior and elimination behavior. In infant development, several experts have suggested that this behavior is associated with the oral and anal personality of the adult personality. Motives will emerge from needs through the learning process. Needs become detailed and the way to fulfill needs will lead to personal patterns in trying to satisfy them, becoming patterns of behavior and distinctive characteristics. Emotional attitudes are often studied in this way, namely children learn from their interactions with their environment. After certain physical development is achieved, the development of speech, motor skills, and personality traits results in a child who has lost the appearance of a baby, ready to enter toddlerhood.

Abstract

Childhood is a crucial period in a child's physical development which is influenced by various internal and external factors. Optimal physical growth of children is greatly influenced by nutritional factors, parenting patterns, environment, and access to health and educational facilities. This research aims to identify supporting factors and challenges that influence the dynamics of children's physical growth. This research uses a literature study method to collect and analyze secondary data from scientific journals, books and articles related to children's physical growth. Data analysis was carried out in three stages: organizing, synthesizing, and identifying findings to understand supporting factors and challenges in optimizing children's physical growth. The research results show that adequate nutritional intake, positive parenting patterns from parents, and a healthy environment play a significant role in supporting children's growth. Children who receive balanced nutrition, including protein, vitamins and minerals, show better physical growth. Apart from that, the role of parents who provide emotional attention and education also supports children's physical and psychological development. However, the main challenges faced are malnutrition, limited access to health services, as well as the impact of socio-economic factors such as poverty and low levels of parental education. This research suggests several strategies to overcome these challenges, including increasing nutrition education, improving sanitation infrastructure, and empowering communities through health intervention programs. With a holistic approach and involving various parties, optimization of children's physical growth can be achieved, which in turn contributes to the development of a healthy and productive

Abstract

Language and cognitive development is the main foundation in children's learning and social interaction processes. This research explores the contribution of education and environment to language and cognitive development, and offers strategic recommendations for optimizing both factors. This research uses the literature study method to collect secondary data from various relevant sources, such as journals, books and proceedings. The analysis process is carried out in three stages: (1) organizing the literature based on relevant themes, (2) synthesizing information to find connections between the literature, and (3) identifying important data to produce in-depth conclusions about the role of education and the environment in language development and cognition child. This research identifies the significant role of formal education and the family environment in supporting children's language and cognitive development. Findings showed that a curriculum involving language stimulation and cognitive activities significantly improved children's receptive and expressive language abilities. In addition, social interactions with parents, peers, and teachers have been proven to enrich children's cognitive and linguistic development. However, obstacles such as lack of access to quality education, an environment that lacks stimulation, and the impact of uncontrolled use of technology can hinder this development process. This research suggests a collaborative approach between educational institutions, families and communities to create a learning environment that supports children's development in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the reading difficulties experienced by second-grade elementary school students and identify effective teaching strategies to help overcome these issues. The subjects of the study include students who struggle with blending syllables, students who do not recognize letters, and students who stutter while spelling. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results show that the use of phonics methods, syllable-blending exercises, interactive letter recognition, and a gradual approach to spelling successfully improved students' reading skills. However, challenges such as differences in students' abilities and limited instructional time remain obstacles. This study highlights the importance of collaboration between teachers, parents, and students in addressing children's reading difficulties
