Abstract

This study aims to implicitly analyze the use of interactive multimedia to improve critical thinking skills of elementary school students in Social Studies to face the era of society 5.0. This study uses a qualitative research method with a literature study research design. The steps taken by the researcher were initiated by formulating the research problem, then continued by tracing the relevant research results for analysis. Data was collected by searching electronic journals and studying documentation in the library. Based on the search results obtained research data from five electronic journals. Data analysis was carried out by summarizing, reviewing, and analyzing research data from several empirical research results. Based on the results of the analysis, it turns out that the use of interactive multimedia can improve learning outcomes with the results obtained by 23.33% and 38.1%, respectively. Interactive multimedia can also improve learning outcomes in Social Studies material with a yield of 7.8%. Interactive multimedia can also encourage students to think critically with 6% of the results. So that the critical thinking process will make it easier for students to realistically understand the Social Studies material for elementary school students with a result of 10.25%.

Abstract

Development of E-Comic based comic media for learning rights and obligations at home and at school to shape the character of fifth grade elementary school students. Because in schools there are many students who do not understand their rights and obligations. As well as developing comics to introduce technology to students because it is not yet optimal in the use of technology in learning. The type of research implemented by researchers applies the type of ADDIE model developed by Rahmadhany, which has five systematic stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects in this study were class V- A students at SDN Kepanjen 2 Jombang for the 2022/2023 academic year. The instrument obtained data using field notes, media validation sheets, student response questionnaires, tests and documentation. The data collection technique for measuring the validity of the media uses a material and media validation questionnaire that is assessed by validator experts. As well as the response of teachers and students after using E-Comic learning media. As well as in measuring understanding of the material using tests. On the quality of E-comic learning media, it obtains an average value of 96.25% with very valid criteria. In terms of material validity, a score of 87.5% is obtained with very valid criteria. And there are student and teacher responses with an average of 88.78% with very valid criteria. So for the recapitulation value the quality value of E-Comic Learning Media is 89.03% with very valid criteria. In implementation the researcher obtained the results of the responses of students and class teachers. At the validation stage, the media obtained an average of 91.87% with very valid criteria. Researchers in implementation distributed test sheets and got an average score of 89.48% with very good criteria. Then comic media is feasible and suitable for implementation.

Abstract

jbbb Currently there are still many teachers who use the lecture method, to use the two stray two stay learning model is still minimally used during learning. In this study, researchers wanted to find out whether the two stay two stray learning model had an effect on the learning outcomes of these students, this was the purpose of the study. This study used quantitative methods with a type of one-group pretest-postest design. The sample of this study was 16 students. Data collection methods are tests, questionnaires and documentation. The results of this study showed that before being given the action obtained an average value of 66.88 and after getting the action increased to 86.25. This study has a significant effect of 0.000. A significant value indicating 0.000 < 0.05 so that H₀ is rejected and H₁ is accepted. This means that there is a positive influence and response from the use of the Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) learning model on student learning outcomes in Class III PKN material at SDN Kesamben 2 Ngoro Jombang.

Abstract

The family, particularly parents, plays a pivotal role in instilling life values in their children to achieve meaningful life goals. This study aims to explore parental parenting styles concerning non-academic achievements among students at SDN Balongbesuk Jombang. A qualitative case study approach was employed, utilizing data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Parents of non-academic achievers and the students themselves served as data sources. The findings reveal that parents employ a "Democratic" parenting style, which is perceived as warm and supportive for children. Parental efforts to support their children's achievements include granting them freedom of choice and involvement in extracurricular activities, providing motivation and support, and allocating time to support their participation in competitive events. The majority of non-academic achievers positively receive this parenting style. In conclusion, the "Democratic" parenting style is found to be effective in supporting non-academic student achievements.

Abstract

In learning, especially at elementary school level, this needs to be done provide learning media as an intermediary for delivering material. If this is not done, students will have difficulty understanding the lesson material, especially material related to being proud of the nation. Apart from that, the lack of building students' abilities is related to the limited provision of learning media. Thus, there is a need for renewal and innovation in learning media that is able to preserve the value of love for the Indonesian nation and build students' individual abilities. This research aims to develop Herbarium learning media regarding plant parts and their functions in science learning for class IV elementary schools. This research also aims to determine the development process, media feasibility, and media implementation. In this study, the research subjects is class IV students at SDN Menganto Mojowarno for the 2023/2024 academic year. Data collection techniques for the media development process use field notes, media and material suitability use validation questionnaire sheets, media implementation uses student response questionnaires. The results of this research are available at development process according to the steps in the ADDIE model, namely Analysis, Design (Planning), Develop (Development), Implement (Implementation), and Evaluate (Evaluation). The feasibility of the product which was validated by media expert validators and material experts obtained an average score of 92.25% with very valid criteria and suitable for application to students without improvement. The process of implementing learning media is carried out twice, namely on a small scale and a large scale. The small-scale trial was applied to 6 students by random selection, while the large-scale trial was applied to all class IV students. Thus, the implementation of the Herbarium learning media received a score of 91.25% with very good criteria applied to science and science learning.

Abstract

This type of research uses research and development methods with ADDIE media, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. This model is used to solve problems in studying plant material and the sources of life on Earth. The subjects of this research were fourth grade students at SDN Kepanjen 1 Jombang. Data analysis used was field notes, validator questionnaires and student response questionnaires. This media was declared valid and appropriate by media expert validators with a percentage of 81% and material expert validators with an average of 87%. Apart from that, students' responses to the quality of scrapbook learning materials and media obtained an average score of 84%. The implementation was tested twice, namely on a small and large scale with results of 83%. Thus, it can be concluded that this scrapbook media can be applied to plant material and sources of life on earth and is well received.

Abstract

Pedagogik menjadi pemahaman dan kemampuan penting bagi guru di sekolah dasar dan pra sekolah. Optimalisasi pedagogik dapat terwujud melalui langkah guru dalam memberikan wawasan pengetahuan dan membimbing melalui pendidikan karakter yang terbaik terhadap anak. Sebagai wujud implementasi nyata, mahasiswa Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari Jombang mengadakan sebuah program sosialisasi pedagogik bagi para guru sekolah dasar dan pra sekolah di Balai Desa Jerukwangi. Tujuan diadakannya kegiatan adalah memberikan sumbangsih keilmuan secara pedagogik bagi guru-guru di lembaga pendidikan Desa Jerukwangi dengan memberikan strategi dalam mendidik anak agar berkarakter. Adapun metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat meliputi: a) kegiatan analisis masalah, b) sharing keilmuan, c) tanya jawab, dan d) evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) telah memenuhi refleksi sebagai langkah nyata dalam membangun pedagogik secara positif bagi guru-guru dalam membangun karakter kepada anak sekolah dasar dan pra sekolah di lingkungan pendidikan Desa Jerukwangi. Simpulan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) dianggap mampu memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya teori ilmu mengajar agar guru tepat dalam memfasilitasi anak agar ke depan memiliki karakter secara komprehensif.

Abstract

Sex education is very important to convey to people, including elementary school students. Sex education aims to provide information about the truth and understanding of everything related to sexuality, so that in the future when students grow up they can live a social life properly and correctly according to the knowledge they gained while at school. The urgency of sex education is given to elementary school children so that children can prevent and minimize the impact of sexual harassment which is currently rampant. This research is a literature review study with the topic of discussion, namely understanding elementary school students' sex education. Based on the results of the review, it provides unique findings regarding sex education in elementary schools. These findings provide an understanding that: 1) the level of parental education has an impact on the level of understanding of children's sexuality, 2) parents have a role in preventing sex that occurs in elementary school children, 3) communication between parents and children must be established in harmony as a form of development children's sexuality period, and 4) educational institutions must be aware that sex education needs to be provided when children are at primary school age with adapted material.

Abstract

This study attempts to produce media miniature learning solar system 3d to the matter solar system. Media developed by following the 10 steps of research. However, this study is limited to the stage of the revision of the final product. This type of research is research development commonly called R amp; D (Research and Development) by following the procedures of the Borg and Gall. The subject is used as the sample research is grade VI. Stages of research covering the stages of product development media, stages the validation material experts, media experts, practitioners, and trial stages of the product. Product test stage consists of three phases, namely the stage of limited trials or individual trials subject to the number of 3 students. Stages of small-group test with a test subject of 6 students. The operational test phase with the number of the subject test as many as 35 students. Data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative as well as quantitative. The results of the study the development of this indicates that the media miniature the solar system 3d fit for use as a medium of learning .As well as meet the criteria kevalidan , practicality , and based on the effectiveness of validation of the team media experts , expert matter , and practitioners , as well as passing the trial of the product.

Abstract

Indonesia adalah negara yang sangat kaya akan keberagaman flora dan fauna. Flora yang terdiri dari tanaman yang berada di Indonesia sering dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat sebagai sesuatu yang berguna bagi kesehatan. Tanaman-tanaman tersebut dapat diolah menjadi obat tradisional berkhasiat. Di dalam ruang lingkup pendidikan sekolah dasar, pemanfaatan tanaman obat tradisional sangat relevan dilakukan dalam menunjang masyarakat sekolah untuk sadar akan pentingnya menjaga kesehatan dengan mengkonsumsi obat-obatan tradisional. Di Desa Mejoyolosari, Kabupaten Jombang menjadi salah satu desa di kawasan tersebut yang terdapat potensi tanaman-tanaman herbal yang melimpah, namun dalam sisi pengolahannya kurang akan ilmu pengetahuan. Sehingga tujuan utama dilaksanakannya kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah membangun pola berpikir masyarakat sekolah dalam memberdayakan tanaman obat keluarga dalam menjaga pola hidup sehat. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terdiri dari : 1) survei dan observasi, 2) sosialisasi, 3) penyuluhan, 4) penanaman, dan 5) pemanfaatan dan pengolahan. Adapun konkretisasi hasil pengabdian masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pemberdayaan tanaman obat keluarga sangat memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan secara teori dan praktik secara proporsional. Konklusi dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat adalah sumbangsih ilmu secara koheren tentang pengenalan dan pengelolaan tanaman obat keluarga sebagai upaya menciptakan sekolah peduli sehat dan peduli lingkungan.
