Abstract

Penelitian peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui komunitas belajar terhadap penerapan kurikulum merdeka di SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap peningkatan kompetensisi guru terkait aspek pedagogi, profesional dan sosial melalui komunitas belajar dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka di SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang, Kota Padang Panjang, Sumatera Barat. Penerapan kurikulum merdeka sudah dilakukan sejak tahun 2023 di SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. Kurikulum merdeka membawa paradigma baru dalam pembelajaran, seperti penerpan pembelajaran berdiefrensiasi, pengembangan modul ajar yang berorientasi pada siswa, analisis materi esensial, pemilihan strategi, metoda dan media yang disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar siswa, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut pembelajaran serta pengembangan karakter siswa melalui kegiatan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5). Hal tersebut membutuhkan peningkatan kompetensi guru, agar penerapan kurikulum merdeka berjalan lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru adalah melalui Komunitas Belajar. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis Metode pengumpulan datadilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik snow ball, dan analisis datanya menggunakan langkah-langkah dari Milles dan Huberman. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan waktu. Temuan hasil penelitian ini antara lain, 1). Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang sudah berjalan dengan baik, 2). Kegiatan komunitas belajar efektif meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka, 3). Kompetensi guru dalam aspek pedagogi dan profesional menjadi aspek kompetensi dengan peningkatan paling signifikan yang dirasakan oleh guru setelah mengikuti kegiatan komunitas belajar.

Abstract

The formation of moral character among elementary school students is a crucial aspect of education because, at this stage, values, attitudes, and positive habits begin to develop more consistently. A rapidly changing social environment, combined with technological advancements that provide unrestricted access to information, requires schools to play a strategic role in cultivating moral values in a directed and sustainable manner. This study aims to explore the role of education in shaping the moral character of students in elementary schools. The method employed is a literature study, also known as a library research approach, which involves collecting data and information by reviewing and analyzing scholarly articles and scientific journals. The findings indicate that the educational process is essential for fostering morally upright individuals. Through education, moral development is expected to progress appropriately, harmoniously, and in accordance with norms, human dignity, and fundamental values. As human beings are creatures who can be educated, education becomes a necessity. Thus, education plays a vital role in shaping the moral character of individuals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan media video pembelajaran berbasis YouTube terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) pada materi gaya, gerak, dan energi di sekolah dasar. Penelitian menerapkan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, di mana setiap siklus mencakup tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 17 siswa kelas V dengan tingkat kemampuan akademik yang beragam. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes evaluasi untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa, serta lembar observasi yang digunakan untuk mengamati aktivitas dan keterlibatan siswa selama proses pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar yang konsisten sejak tahap pra tindakan hingga siklus II. Nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat dari 64,41 pada pra tindakan menjadi 73,82 pada siklus I, dan kembali naik menjadi 80,00 pada siklus II. Selain itu, persentase ketuntasan belajar juga mengalami peningkatan, yaitu dari 35% pada pra tindakan menjadi 65% pada siklus I, serta mencapai 82% pada siklus II. Temuan tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media video pembelajaran berbasis YouTube efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep gaya, gerak, dan energi. Media ini juga mampu menciptakan pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, interaktif, dan memotivasi siswa untuk berpartisipasi aktif.

Abstract

The transformation of digital learning in Indonesia necessitates the pedagogically integrated use of Learning Management Systems (LMS). Portal Rumah Belajar is a national LMS developed by the government to support digital learning in alignment with the national curriculum. This study aims to systematically examine the utilization of Portal Rumah Belajar as an LMS in the context of formal education through a literature review approach. Data were collected from journal articles, books, research reports, and official documents published between 2015 and 2025 and analyzed using content analysis techniques. The primary referenes used onsist of 15 articlesthat intensively examine the Portal Rumah Beljar. The findings indicate that Portal Rumah Belajar has the potential to enhance access to digital learning resources, support self-directed learning, and facilitate interaction and learning assessment. However, its utilization has not been fully optimized due to limitations in teachers’ digital pedagogical competence and insufficient integration of the platform into instructional planning. Therefore, optimizing Portal Rumah Belajar requires strengthening pedagogical design, institutional support, and sustainable utilization of its features.

Abstract

This sociocultural reality cannot be separated from the learning process, as it shapes students' perspectives, motivations, and learning needs. Learning processes that ignore local realities tend to lose relevance, resulting in a disconnect between the theory they learn and their daily lives. This study aims to understand the meaningful learning experiences of students at STKIP Pesisir Selatan through the perspective of educational phenomenology. The focus lies on how students interpret their learning experiences inside and outside the classroom, as well as the factors that shape meaning in the learning process. The phenomenological approach explores students’ subjective experiences in depth. The findings show that meaningful learning depends not only on course material but also on connections to the local cultural context, social support, the lecturer’s role as a facilitator, and students’ intrinsic motivation. This article contributes to the development of more humanistic, contextual, and reflective learning practices in teacher education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to understand teachers’ experiences in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMAN 2 Sutera through a phenomenological educational approach. The research focuses on the meaning of teachers’ lived experiences in responding to the paradigm shift from content-based instruction to the reinforcement of 21st-century competencies. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and documentation involving eight teachers from various subject areas. Data analysis followed the stages of phenomenological reduction, essential meaning construction, and thematic interpretation. The findings reveal that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMAN 2 Sutera is characterized by pedagogical adaptation dynamics, limitations in digital resources, and teachers’ reflective awareness of students’ learning autonomy. These findings highlight the importance of continuous professional development through contextual training and teacher learning communities to realize meaningful and independent learning.

Abstract

This study explores the transformation of mathematical thinking awareness among mathematics education students through a phenomenological lens. Thirty undergraduate students in the Mathematics Education Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Tapanuli Selatan participated as research subjects selected through purposive sampling. Data were obtained through semi-structured interviews, participatory observations, and reflective documentation, and analyzed using Colaizzi’s descriptive phenomenological method. The findings demonstrate a three-stage transformation of awareness: epistemic, metacognitive, and ontological. Epistemically, students shifted from memorizing formulas toward conceptual understanding driven by meaningful learning needs. Metacognitively, errors, reflective dialogue, and self-explanation triggered deeper strategic awareness, revealing the role of regulation and emotional control in sustaining understanding. Ontologically, mathematics became integrated into students’ self-identity as future educators, shaping how they perceive learning as part of lifelong intellectual and personal development. Taken together, students no longer view mathematics merely as procedural knowledge but as a way of thinking that guides interpretation, reasoning, and awareness of learning processes.

Abstract

This study aims to develop, validate, and evaluate the practicality and effectiveness of Quizizz Paper Mode as an interactive learning medium for fourth-grade Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) in elementary schools. The research employed the ADDIE model consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. Data were collected through observations, interviews, expert validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome assessments. The study was conducted in three elementary schools: SDN 07, SDN 02, and SDN 16 Sungai Aur. Validation results from media, material, and language experts produced an average score of 90%, categorizing the media as very valid. Practicality tests involving teachers and students indicated high usability with percentages ranging from 92.5% to 95%. Effectiveness was measured through pre-test and post-test results analyzed using the N-Gain formula, showing substantial improvements with N-Gain scores of 0.77, 0.80, and 0.89, all classified as high. The findings demonstrate that Quizizz Paper Mode is valid, practical, and effective in improving student engagement, motivation, and understanding in IPAS learning. It is recommended as an interactive learning tool to support meaningful learning experiences in elementary schools.

Abstract

The current study seeks to explore Islamic religious education at the elementary level with the understanding that it has limitations presented through conventional teacher-centered teaching. Such limitations decrease student engagement and stifle creativity. The purpose of this research was to develop inquiry-based student worksheets with the objective of encouraging critical thinking and the importance of Islamic values in creating active participation in learning for Grade 1. This is a very relevant study, however, because early exposure to inquiry-oriented methods can significantly affect learning outcomes-cognitive and affective-for religious education. In employing the Research and Development (R&D) method through the ADDIE model, 13 Grade 1 students of SDN 05 Babukik participated in this study. The sources of data collection were questionnaires, observations, interviews, and pre- and post-tests, which were analyzed based on descriptive statistics and N-Gain tests. Expert validation was very feasible (content 95%, design 92%, media 87%), while practicality tests showed high acceptability by students and teachers. Effectiveness tests obtained moderate N-Gain score, indicating significant improvement in understanding. Thus, inquiry-based learning is indeed applicable within Islamic Religious Education and presents an innovative instructional model which encompasses the principles of inquiry into its materials. The study articulates the need for resources that are interactive and contextually relevant to promote meaningful understanding-student learning at primary level religious education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kerangka kerja komprehensif untuk mengintegrasikan teknologi pembelajaran mendalam, khususnya dalam pedagogi pendidikan ilmu sosial, sekaligus menjawab beragam kebutuhan lingkungan kelas modern. Metodologi tinjauan pustaka sistematis yang mengikuti pedoman PRISMA digunakan, dengan melakukan penelusuran komprehensif di seluruh basis data Web of Science, Scopus, ERIC, dan Google Scholar untuk studi-studi relevan yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2014 dan 2024. Teknik analisis konten kualitatif dan sintesis tematik digunakan untuk mengkaji penelitian yang ada terkait integrasi teknologi pembelajaran mendalam dalam konteks pendidikan, dengan perhatian khusus pada kerangka kerja pedagogis, tantangan implementasi, dan hasil belajar siswa. Analisis ini mengungkapkan bahwa arsitektur CNN-LSTM hibrida menunjukkan kemampuan prediktif yang unggul untuk aplikasi pendidikan, mencapai akurasi lebih dari 95% dalam meramalkan hasil belajar siswa. Namun, integrasi yang sukses membutuhkan pengembangan profesional yang komprehensif yang mencakup kompetensi teknis dan transformasi pedagogis, di samping penyelarasan eksplisit dengan kerangka kerja pedagogis berbasis inkuiri yang menjadi ciri khas pengajaran ilmu sosial yang efektif. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi kesenjangan yang signifikan antara kemampuan teknologi dan implementasi pedagogis, terutama terkait keyakinan guru dan struktur dukungan institusional.
