Abstract

This study is motivated by the low student engagement and understanding of biology concepts due to the limited use of engaging learning media. At SMA N 4 Batam, although tools and technology are available, the use of effective media in teaching is still limited. The purpose of this study is to develop valid, practical, and effective biology learning media for grade X high school students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The validity of the media was tested by four experts: an instrument expert, a media expert, a language expert, and a content expert, while practicality testing was conducted by five educators and 34 students. The results show that the interactive multimedia developed is highly valid, practical, and effective. The validation results show that all tested instruments received a 100% score, categorized as "Very Valid." The practicality assessment by educators also showed very positive results, with average scores ranging from 4.53 to 4.89, categorized as "Very Practical." The student trial results showed an average score of 4.59, categorized as "Very Practical." The effectiveness of the multimedia is evident from the improvement in student learning outcomes, with an average posttest score of 84.71, categorized as "Very Good." The N-Gain obtained was 0.64, falling under the "Medium" category. The increase in pretest and posttest scores shows that the use of interactive multimedia with Google Slides is effective in enhancing students' understanding of biology content.

Abstract

This research was motivated by low student motivation and learning outcomes in the Culinary Basics course at SMKN 6 Padang. Conventional learning models such as lectures and PowerPoint presentations are considered incapable of generating student enthusiasm and engagement in practice-based learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model combined with video media in improving student motivation and learning outcomes in this subject. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design using a pretest-posttest control group design. Data collection used two main instruments: a learning outcome test to measure cognitive and psychomotor aspects, and a learning motivation questionnaire to measure students' affective factors. These instruments were tested for validity and reliability before use. Data were collected from two classes: an experimental class using PjBL with video media and a control class using the lecture method with PowerPoint. The results of data analysis showed a significant difference between the experimental and control classes. Students learning using the video-assisted PjBL model showed greater improvements in learning motivation and learning outcomes. The significance value obtained from the statistical test was below 0.05, indicating that the use of the video-based PjBL model was proven effective in improving the quality of culinary practical learning in vocational schools. Therefore, the implementation of video-assisted PjBL can be an innovative and engaging alternative learning strategy in vocational schools.

Abstract

Penelitian peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui komunitas belajar terhadap penerapan kurikulum merdeka di SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis terhadap peningkatan kompetensisi guru terkait aspek pedagogi, profesional dan sosial melalui komunitas belajar dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka di SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang, Kota Padang Panjang, Sumatera Barat. Penerapan kurikulum merdeka sudah dilakukan sejak tahun 2023 di SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. Kurikulum merdeka membawa paradigma baru dalam pembelajaran, seperti penerpan pembelajaran berdiefrensiasi, pengembangan modul ajar yang berorientasi pada siswa, analisis materi esensial, pemilihan strategi, metoda dan media yang disesuaikan dengan gaya belajar siswa, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut pembelajaran serta pengembangan karakter siswa melalui kegiatan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5). Hal tersebut membutuhkan peningkatan kompetensi guru, agar penerapan kurikulum merdeka berjalan lebih efektif dan efisien. Salah satu kegiatan yang dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru adalah melalui Komunitas Belajar. Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analisis Metode pengumpulan datadilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik snow ball, dan analisis datanya menggunakan langkah-langkah dari Milles dan Huberman. Keabsahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan waktu. Temuan hasil penelitian ini antara lain, 1). Penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMK Negeri 2 Padang Panjang sudah berjalan dengan baik, 2). Kegiatan komunitas belajar efektif meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam penerapan kurikulum merdeka, 3). Kompetensi guru dalam aspek pedagogi dan profesional menjadi aspek kompetensi dengan peningkatan paling signifikan yang dirasakan oleh guru setelah mengikuti kegiatan komunitas belajar.

Abstract

Perkembangan sosial pada anak usia sekolah dasar memiliki peran yang penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kemampuan mereka untuk berinteraksi di lingkungan sekitar. Penelitian ini menyelidiki berbagai aspek pemanfaatan perkembangan sosial dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar melalui analisis studi pustaka yang komprehensif. Fokus utama adalah mengidentifikasi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif serta tantangan yang dihadapi dalam mengintegrasikan pembelajaran sosial dalam kurikulum sekolah dasar. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi yang baik dari perkembangan sosial dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa, memperkuat keterampilan sosial mereka, serta membantu mengelola konflik secara konstruktif. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu, sumber daya, dan pelatihan guru memerlukan solusi kolaboratif antara sekolah, pemerintah, dan komunitas untuk menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang holistik dan inklusif bagi siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Video media is a type of audio-visual learning media that includes images, sound and movement, which can convery learning message to students. The use of learning media has not been effective, which makes it difficult for teachers to explain the material to students. One of the competencies of Educational Technology is to become a learning media developer. This development reserach follows the Borg&Gall model, and is tested for the validity and practicality of the media develop. These stages include: (1) planning, (2) initial product, (3) product validation, (4) testing, and (5) final product. The average score of this learning video media product by material expert was 4,84, categorized as “Very Suitable”. Furthermore, from media experts, the average score was obtained from media expert I was 4,73 and media expert II was 4,60, from this score the media could be categorized as “Very Feasible”. Meanwhile, the practicality test shows that this learning video media product received a positive response from users by obtaining an average score of 4,62 with a percentage of 92,40% with the criteria “Very Practical”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengemukakan permasalahan yang peneliti dapat yaitu sumber yang dipakai hanya berupa buku cetak dan LKS, fasilitas yang ada disekolah belum memadai. Sehingga guru dalam pembelajaran minimnya menggunakan media, disebabkan peserta didik bosan dalam pembelajaran sehingga tidak fokus karena pembelajaran yang monoton kurangnya minat belajar peserta didik dan masih kurang juga daya tangkap peserta didik dalam pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui proses pengembangan pengembangan e-modul menggunakan aplikasi Flip PDF Profesional pada mata pelajaran IPS untuk kelas VII SMP, (2) mengetahui validitas pengembangan e-modul menggunakan aplikasi Flip PDF Profesional pada mata pelajaran IPS untuk kelas VII SMP, (3) mengetahui praktikalitas pengembangan e-modul menggunakan aplikasi Flip PDF Profesional pada mata pelajaran IPS untuk kelas VII SMP, (4) mengetahui efektifitas pengembangan e-modul menggunakan aplikasi Flip PDF Profesional pada mata pelajaran IPS untuk kelas VII SMP. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Uji coba penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, lembaran angket dan wawancara. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Data kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan respon pendidik dan peserta didik serta komentar dan saran dari ahli validasi. Data kuantitatif diperoleh dari angket ahli validasi yaitu ahli media dan ahli materi serta angket respon pendidik dan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian dan pengembangan ini berupa E-Modul yang dikembangkan sesuai dengan prosedur pengembangan ADDIE. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa siswa membutuhkan modul yang sesuai dengan karakteristik peserta didik dan kurikulum yang digunakan sekolah sehingga produk dirancang dan dikembangkan sesuai hasil analisis E-Modul yang dikembangkan kemudian divalidasi oleh ahli media dan ahli materi. Setelah dinyatakan layak, produk diimplementasikan sehingga diketahui respon pendidik dan peserta didik terkait kepraktisan produk. Hasil validasi media memperoleh nilai dengan persentase 95,6% dengan kategori “sangat valid” hasil validasi materi memperoleh nilai dengan persentase 96,25% dengan kategori “sangat valid”. Hasil angket respon pendidik memperoleh nilai dengan persentase 92,14% dengan kategori “sangat praktis” dan hasil angket respon peserta didik memperoleh nilai dengan persentase 90,70% dengan kategori “sangat praktis”. Hasil uji efektivitas hasil belajar peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata pre-test 59,4 dan memperoleh nilai rata-rata post-test 92,8 setelah penggunaan E-Modul.

Abstract

Tiktok merupakan salah satu media sosial yang sangat ramai di pakai saat sekarang. We are Social mencatat mayoritas dari pengguna aplikasi Tiktok di Indonesia sendiri ialah berusia 18-24 tahun. Aplikasi Tiktok menjadi sorotan banyaknya konten bermuatan negatif. Tetapi, bukan berarti seluruh konten di Tiktok bermuatan negatif. Tiktok tidak hanya dipakai untuk sebagai hiburan saja bahwa mahasiswa tersebut menjadi malas belajar karena diketahui sebagian dari mereka tidak hanya mengakses untuk hiburan akan tetapi ada juga yang mencari referensi terkait pelajaran yang sulit dia pahami ketika belajar secara online (Buana, 2020: 4). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi mahasiswa terhadap konten edukatif Tiktok dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, menggunakan teknik pumpulan data angket, dan dokumentasi, Adapun analisis data yang dilakukan menggunakan uji validitas dan realibilitas.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, Pada Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap aplikasi Tiktok dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar didapatkan sebesar (86,41%) dikategorikan sangat baik pada variabel Aplikasi Tiktok. Kedua, Persepsi mahasiswa terhadap Konten edukatif Tiktok dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar didapatkan sebesar (88,72%) dikategorikan sangat baik pada variabel Konten Edukatif Tiktok. ketiga, Persepsi mahasiswa dalam meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar didapatkan sebesar (79,42%) dikategorikan  baik pada variabel motivasi belajar.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the "Relationship between Student Perceptions of Teacher Behavior and Behaviorist Theory and Creativity with the Social Competence of State Madrasah Tsanawiyah Teachers in Agam Regency". This type of research is quantitative research, namely research that focuses on studying objective phenomena to be studied quantitatively. The research sample will be chosen randomly. Data were analyzed using SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The research results show that: (1) There is a correlation between students' perceptions of teacher behavior regarding behaviorist theory and teacher competence at MTsN in Agam Regency, which is declared to be proven to be true with a strong correlation level. (2) there is a correlation between students' perceptions of creativity and teacher competence at MTsN in Agam Regency which has been proven to be true with a moderate level of correlation. (3) The results of the analysis show that the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) which states that there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions of teacher behavior towards behavioristic theory and creativity together with teacher competence at MTsN in Agam Regency is accepted and proven to be true.

Abstract

The beginning of this research was due to students' problems with activities and student learning outcomes. During the passive student learning process,no one asked or contributed to the learning activity. Many student learning outcomes are less than the predetermined KKM value. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of using the Think Talk Write type learning model with the help of learning videos in ICT learning on the activities and learning outcomes of class VIII students. This research was conducted at SMPN 1 Pangkalan Kuras. This type of research is a quasi-experimental with a population of all class VIII SMPN 1 Pangkalan Kuras for the academic year 2021/2022 which opens seven classes. The sample is represented by class 8B as the experimental class and 8F as the control class. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The instruments used for data collection are questionnaires and tests. Data analysis used normality test and homogeneity test and t-test was performed to prove the hypothesis. The result is a significant effect of the use of the Think Talk Write cooperative learning model on activities and learning outcomes on basic computer operating materials taught using cooperative learning models and assisted by animated videos which are higher than student learning outcomes and learning motivation taught by learning models conventional video-assisted animation.

Abstract

This study discusses how the process of development, validity testing and practicality testing of educational game-based learning evaluation tools on the subject matter of informatics materials Information Technology and Communication at the State High School 39 Padang. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D). (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The study conducted validity tests with 3 experts and the number of students practicality tests as much as 20 people. The results of the research showed that Quizwhizzer's educational game-based learning evaluation tool is worthy of use. From the data the validity of media expert 1 was 95.2%, media expert 2 was 97.6%, material expert 95.2, and the test results of 86% in the category “Very Practical”. It can be concluded that the evaluation tool based on educational games with Quizwhizzer in computer science subjects is worthy of use in the class VIII of SMP N 39 Padang.
