Abstract

The digital era has brought significant changes in communication patterns within families, where information and communication technology (ICT) is now an inseparable part of everyday life. In this context, the application of Islamic parenting principles is very crucial to maintain harmony and the quality of communication between family members. In Islamic teachings, family communication has a very important role and is regulated by principles derived from the Qur'an and Hadith. Good communication in the family is not just an exchange of information, but also a means to build a sakinah, mawaddah, and rahmah family, namely a family that is calm, full of love, and affection. This study uses a qualitative approach by analyzing the role of Islamic parenting between parents and children in the digital era. The results of the study show that Islamic parenting principles emphasize the importance of effective, loving, and religiously based communication. In today's digital era, it is important for parents to have a deep understanding of technology and its impact on children. In addition, they also need to develop adaptive communication skills to face the various challenges that arise from the use of technology, such as cyberbullying, social media addiction, and exposure to negative content. In the context of Islamic parenting, effective communication between parents and children is the key to building strong, trusting, and supportive relationships. Islamic parenting principles play an important role in guiding communication patterns in families in this digital era. By implementing these values, parents can create a harmonious and loving family atmosphere, remain in accordance with religious teachings, and be ready to face the various challenges posed by technological developments.

Abstract

The development of information technology and social media, particularly TikTok, has brought new challenges for Muslim women in maintaining their identity and Islamic values. This study explores effective Islamic communication strategies to address viral dance content that often contradicts Islamic teachings, using the perspective of Q.S Al-Ahzab verse 33 as a foundation. The method used is qualitative with a literature study approach, involving collecting data from various sources to support the analysis. The results of the study indicate that viral dance content can influence the image of Muslim women and pose challenges to modesty and aurat. Therefore, wise, educational, and value-based communication strategies are essential to provide a better understanding to the younger generation. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of persuasive and constructive communication approaches, as well as the role of religious figures and influencers in conveying messages that align with Islamic teachings. This research is expected to contribute to the development of relevant communication strategies in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of digital technology, especially social media such as Tiktok, has opened up new space for the spread of Islamic preaching messages. This article discusses the communication strategies used by young preachers in delivering preaching through the Tiktok platform. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with case studies on several accounts of young preachers who are actively preaching on Tiktok. The results of the study show that young preachers utilize creativity in the form of delivering content that is short, interesting, and relevant to current issues. They also use communicative language and attractive visuals to reach the younger generation. Other strategies implemented include consistency in uploads, active interaction with followers, and the use of Tiktok trends and features such as music, filters, and hashtags to increase the reach of preaching. With this research, young preachers are able to convey Islamic values ​​effectively and are accepted by a wider audience, especially teenagers and millennials. This study concludes that the success of young preachers in preaching on Tiktok is greatly influenced by their ability to adapt communication strategies in a dynamic and rapidly changing digital context. This finding emphasizes the importance of digital competence for young preachers in facing the challenges of preaching in the modern era, as well as the need for a creative and contextual approach so that Islamic preaching remains relevant and touches the hearts of the wider community, especially the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Ustadz Hanan Attaki’s preaching style on TikTok on the self-motivation of teenagers in understanding and practicing Islamic teachings. A quantitative approach with a survey method was applied to 25 respondents who are TikTok-using teenagers and viewers of Ustadz Hanan Attaki’s da’wah content. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The results indicate that a relaxed, relatable, and communicative preaching style significantly influences teens’ religious motivation. A simple linear regression test showed a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.856, indicating that 86% of the variation in self-motivation is explained by the preaching style. These findings highlight the importance of adapting preaching methods to the digital era, particularly through social media platforms.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of information technology usage, particularly gadgets, on the mental health of students at SMAN 18 Palembang. The massive use of gadgets among adolescents can have both positive and negative impacts on various aspects of life, including mental health. This study employs a quantitative method with a survey approach. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to active students of SMAN 18 Palembang. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive and inferential statistical techniques to examine the relationship between the intensity of gadget use and mental health indicators such as stress levels, anxiety, depression, and sleep quality. The results of this research are expected to provide a clear picture of the extent to which gadget use correlates with the mental health conditions of students in this school environment. The implications of this study are expected to provide input for the school, parents, and students in an effort to minimize negative impacts and optimize the healthy and wise use of information technology for the mental well-being of the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the use of social media as a tool for individual communication on environmental loyalty around Polrestabes RT 18 Jakabaring, Palembang. The method used is a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires to 30 respondents and analyzed with the help of SPSS. The results of the bar graph indicate that the majority of respondents (86.7%) agree that social media plays a role in increasing environmental awareness. Simple linear regression analysis produces an equation Y = 11.060 + 0.714X with an R² value of 0.341, indicating a positive and significant relationship between the two variables. These findings suggest that the use of social media can be an effective means to encourage community loyalty to the surrounding environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dan Budi Pekerti terhadap penguatan moderasi beragama siswa di SMA Negeri 22 Palembang pada era digital. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena meningkatnya arus informasi dan interaksi di media sosial yang memunculkan potensi penyebaran paham ekstrem, intoleransi, dan ujaran kebencian di kalangan remaja. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif korelasional dengan pengumpulan data melalui angket daring terhadap 18 siswa yang aktif mengikuti pembelajaran PAI dan menggunakan media sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PAI dan Budi Pekerti berperan signifikan dalam membentuk karakter moderat siswa, khususnya melalui integrasi nilai-nilai kejujuran, toleransi, dan tanggung jawab. Strategi yang efektif meliputi keteladanan guru, pembiasaan nilai-nilai moral, diskusi kontekstual, serta penguatan literasi digital berbasis ajaran Al-Qur’an dan Hadis. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara pendidikan agama, keteladanan pendidik, dan pembinaan digital mampu memperkuat moderasi beragama siswa dalam menghadapi tantangan era media sosial.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efikasi diri santri tahfiz dalam proses menghafal Al-Qur’an di Ma’had Miftahul Jannah, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat yang memengaruhi konsistensi mereka dalam menghafal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, melalui pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya variasi tingkat efikasi diri di antara santri, yang terbentuk tidak hanya oleh motivasi individu, tetapi juga oleh faktor eksternal seperti dukungan orang tua dan budaya kelembagaan ma’had. Dorongan dari orang tua cenderung memperkuat kepercayaan diri santri ketika dipersepsikan sebagai bentuk kepercayaan dan kasih sayang; namun, jika dipahami sebagai tekanan atau kewajiban, hal tersebut justru dapat melemahkan keyakinan terhadap kemampuan diri mereka sendiri. Selain itu, budaya dan peraturan ma’had berperan sebagai faktor mediasi yang membentuk kedisiplinan dan ketekunan santri dalam menghafal. Rutinitas yang terstruktur, sistem setoran harian, serta semangat kebersamaan yang dibangun di lingkungan ma’had turut mengembangkan konsistensi akademik sekaligus karakter religius santri. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa efikasi diri dalam konteks pembelajaran tahfiz bukan sekadar konstruk psikologis, melainkan bagian integral dari pendidikan Islam yang bertujuan menumbuhkan kesadaran spiritual, kedisiplinan, dan integritas moral. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan pendidikan tahfiz perlu menekankan tidak hanya pada pencapaian kognitif, tetapi juga pada internalisasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an sebagai landasan pembentukan karakter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui inovasi pengelolaan budaya dan iklim madrasah: mewujudkan pendidikan berkarakter sehingga dapat menciptakan lingkungan madrasah yang kondusif. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber datanya yakni buku-buku, jurnal, serta website merujuk literatur selaras pembahasan penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan datanya yakni studi literatur serta teknik analisis data yakni reduksi, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Budaya madrasah terbentuk melalui interaksi antara kepala madrasah, guru, karyawan, dan siswa, yang membentuk nilai-nilai dan kebiasaan Islami. Pengelolaan budaya dan iklim madrasah yang efektif, dengan tujuan pendidikan yang jelas, kompetensi pendidik, serta fasilitas yang memadai, penting untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung pembentukan karakter siswa. Praktik-praktik Islami seperti shalat berjamaah dan tadarus Al-Qur'an berperan dalam membentuk akhlak siswa. Tantangan utama meliputi perbedaan latar belakang sosial-ekonomi, keterbatasan sumber daya, dan pengaruh media sosial. Namun, inovasi, pelatihan guru, serta kolaborasi dengan pihak luar dapat mengatasi tantangan tersebut. Sinergi antara madrasah, orang tua, dan masyarakat sangat penting untuk mewujudkan pendidikan yang berkarakter dan mendukung perkembangan siswa secara menyeluruh.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam dimaksudkan membententuk individu tidak hanya cerdas secara akademis namun kompeten secara agama serta berjiwa sosial, dengan diupayakan oleh generasi terdahulu memberi pendidikan pada generasi berikutnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan pendidikan Islam ditinjau menurut sumbernya yakni Al Quran, hadits, ulama dan ahli pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis kepustaakaan, dengan menggali informasi dari buku, Al Quran, artikel serta website. Data direduksi, disajikan dan ditarik kesimpulannya. Penelitian menunjukkan penyelenggara pendidikan Islam perlu kembali kepada sumber utamanya sehingga menemukan beragam sistem serta konsep pendidikan seperti diajarkan nabi Muhammad. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi kepada penyelenggara pendidikan Islam supaya dapat menjawab beragam tantangan di era dunia yang terus berkembang, sehingga melahirkan generasi yang berkontribusi di masyarakat dengan mencerminkan ajaran Islam.
