Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan didesa Moho Kecamatan Jawa Maraja Bah Jambi, Kabupaten Simalungun, Sumatera Utara. Mata pencarian masyarakat Desa Moho lebih banyak pengusaha es krim yang diolah sendiri dengan bahan utama tepung. Metode yang digunakan yaitu eksperimen dan studi pustaka, dengan menggunakan bahan utama dari jamur tiram yang memiliki kandungan vitamin dan gizi yang baik untuk tubuh. Jamur tiram di Desa Moho mudah untuk didapatkan seperti ada diwarung. Proses pembuatan pengolahan jamur tiram menjadi es krim relatif mudah, proses utamanya itu proses penghalusan jamur tiram yang dicampurkan oleh bahan pendukung lainnya. Es krim jamur tiram ini juga rendah kalori yang tidak membuat penyakit obesitas dan memberi nilai ekonomi yang meningkat bagi masyarakat pengusaha es krim kemudian menjadi inspirasi bagi masyarakat lainnya untuk membuka peluang usaha.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi  dan mengetahui jenis tumbuhan serta keanekaragaman tumbuhan tingkat tinggi yang terdapat di daerah pesisir pantai cermin pada kecamatan Serdang Bedagai. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey eksploratif dan deskriptif, dengan mengamati morfologi dan deskripsi tumbuhan, didata dan dicatat. Tempat penelitian berada di daerah pesisir pantai cermin Serdang bedagai. Alat yang dibutuhkan dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa alat tulis untuk mencatat hasil eksplorasi tumbuhan tinggi di sekitar daerah penelitian. Pengumpulan data dengan cara mengeksplorasi tumbuhan biji yang ada di sekitaran tempat penelitian dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis tumbuhan tingkat tinggi yang terdapat di kecamatan Serdang Bedagai berjumlah 23 spesies yang terdiri dari subdivisi Gymnospermae berjumlah 6 spesies dan subdivisi Angiospermae yang terdiri dari kelas monocotyledone sebanyak  3 spesies dan kelas dycotyledone sebanyak 15 spesies

Abstract

Some of the questions in the textbooks are in accordance with the development of science and the applicable curriculum. However, it is undeniable that quite a lot of textbooks are not suitable and have not shown HOTS-type questions. Moreover, the analysis of questions in biology textbooks based on the type of HOTS is very rarely carried out. To review this, the analysis of questions in textbooks is needed as evaluation material in improving the quality of books used in learning. This study aims toanalyze the content of the Higher Order Thinking Skill category in the Class X Biology textbook which is used by Sri Langkat Private High School in learning and teacher response Biology is related to the problem in the book. This research uses a qualitative descriptive type of research. The instruments used are document analysis sheets with check list marks and teacher response interview instrument sheets. The guidelines used in the analysis of the questions are indicators of the Higher Order Thinking Skill category. The results of the study stated that there were as many as 170 questions classified as HOTS type questions with the percentage of the distribution of analyzing questions (C4) 87.6%, evaluating questions (C5) 9.4%, questions creating 2.9%. The teacher's response stated that the question writing bah wa was in accordance with the indicators contained in the curriculum and after validating the results of the question analysis, the teacher specifically knew the content of the percentage of HOTS question types in the Biology textbook used in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan unutuk mengembangan modul bahasa arab dalam meningkatkan kemahiran berbicara (Mahrotul Kalam) Di Kelas VIII MTs Radatul Kalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Metode penelitian dan pengembangan adalah metode penelitian yang digunakan untuk menghasilkan produk tertentu dan menguji keefektifan produk tersebut (Sugiono,2013.) Paradigma penelitian dan pengembangan dalam Research and Developmen, dalam tahapan ini, para peneliti akan di hadapkan pada suatu langkah mendesain, menyusun, mengimplementasi, suatu objek (model) tertentu untuk segera di uji cobakan, lalu di lihat dampaknya, dari uji coba tersebut kemudian di revisi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan mengembangkan produk, dapat diperoleh kesimpulan terkait dengan mengembangkan kemahiran berbicara, melakukan pembelajaran, mengamati, merancang, membuat produk dan menganalisis tingkat kelayakan produk, berikut ini merupakan kesimpulan hasil penelitian pengembangan. Proses mengembangkan modul bahasa Arab dalam penelitian ini adalah melalui beberapa tahap di antaranya melakukan perencanaan yaitu menganalisis semua yang terkait program bahasa Arab dan pembelajaran bahasa Arab yang diterapkan di Kelas VIII MTs Raudatul Akmal. Kemudian melakukan perencanaan dalam pembelajaran seperti membuat pemetaan rencana pembelajaran (silabus), agar setiap pembelajaran yang dilakukan dapat menyesuaikan kebutuhan peserta didik, melakukan penulisan sesuai dengan standart modul kemudian melakukan penilaian terhadap modul bahasa Arab oleh para Ahli materi dan ahli desain, revisi dengan melakukan perbaikkan, kemudian penilaian kembali dan uji coba terhadap peserta didik. Hal itu peneliti lakukan untuk menghasilkan modul bahasa Arab yang memenuhi kebutuhan peserta didik dalam mengembangkan program bahasa Arab di MTs Raudatul Akmal

Abstract

The goals and ideals of the Indonesian nation are to realize the lives of citizens who have the nation's intellectuals listed in the 1945 Constitution, the government and citizens jointly solve educational problems so that a nation that is strong, independent and ready to face the world of globalization is formed. The world of education is currently experiencing the problem of fading the character of students, this can be observed especially in today's young generation. This article aims to find out the form of implementing Islamic-based character education at MTs Raudhatul Akmal and find out what factors cause obstacles in efforts to implement forms of Islamic-based character education at MTs Raudhatul Akmal. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique used was observation, interviews and documentation by observing directly in the field. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be found that the form of implementing Islamic-based character education is in camping and MABIT (Faith Development Night and TaQwa) and extracurricular activities and through positive habituation activities to read the Koran and pray dhuha in congregation as well as exemplary behavior. The inhibiting factors/obstacles for schools in implementing character education at MTs Raudhatul Akmal are facilities and infrastructure, students and teacher potential.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest in student learning in Social Sciences (IPS) subjects. This is due in large part to the fact that most social studies lessons are placed at the end of class, where at the end of the class students begin to feel lazy to study and also sleepy, besides that students are not able to answer the feedback given by the teacher about the material just being taught, students are less involved active in the learning process. Teachers who tend to use the lecture method because social studies studies talk a lot about theory, this makes students more easily bored following lessons and seems difficult to answer test questions. The formulation of the problem in this study is whether the application of cooperative learning through paired card media can improve social studies learning outcomes for students at MTs Raudhatul Akmal Batang Kuis, Medan.

Abstract

Literacy is a crucial foundation in students' lives. This literacy is not confined to a classroom. These skills can also be acquired from outside the classroom. One is extracurricular activities. The purpose of this study is to know efforts to increase literacy interest in students. The study involves qualitative methods. Studies have shown a slow increase in after-school activities by completed extracurricular reading at SMP Swasta IRA. However, the changes have not been able to improve literacy interest well. There are still many students who have not yet recognized the importance of literacy. In this regard, teachers should give more encouragement to overcome them.

Abstract

The laboratory has a very important role in learning science education, and science educators are advised to apply practicum activities in the learning process because there are many benefits that students can get in doing practicum. The problem-based student worksheet (LKPD) used in this study is a problem-based student worksheet. Student worksheets are expected to be able to develop knowledge through problems given by the existence of problems students are required to solve problems in accordance with the knowledge possessed by students. Efforts that can be made in overcoming problems in learning are by holding practicums in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to develop student worksheets with Islamic character in science learning practicum at MTS Raudhatul Akmal. This research method uses survey methods and literature review. This research method uses Development carried out by research and development methods (Research and Development). The development model in this study is the Borg and Gall model. The research subjects were students of class VII and class VIII MTS Raudhatul Akmal Batang Kuis because they had knowledge and understanding of Islamic religious values. Research data were collected using expert validation sheets, teacher response sheets, student response sheets and data analysis using a Likert scale.

Abstract

This study aims to see how students view the laboratory as a learning resource. The main task of the laboratory is to conduct experiments to support biological concepts and enable the development of scientific methods in biology classes. XII Waterfall Village, Medan Marelan District, North Sumatra, 20256. The subjects used were students of class XI IPA 3. This study used a qualitative method involving language studies. However, according to data obtained from the results of the questionnaire, 92% of students in science class 3 among 37 subjects who answered the questionnaire said that placement in the lab could improve student learning outcomes. Laboratory learning has certain advantages compared to other learning methods. This means that students directly gain experience and skills in doing internships, increase student participation both individually and in groups, and students learn to understand the principles of the scientific method. Abstract

Musik merupakan segala sesuatu yang menyenangkan, mendatangkan keceriaan, mempunyai irama (ritme), melody, timbre (tone colour) tertentu untuk membantu tubuh dan pikiran saling bekerja sama. Musik telah lama dianggap memiliki pengaruh terhadap tubuh maupun jiwa manusia. Musik juga dapat menyeimbangkan fungsi otak kanan dan otak kiri, yang berarti menyeimbangkan perkembangan aspek intelektual dan emosional. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Penelitian kuantitatif ialah penelitian yang menjabarkan suatu fenomena. Metode ini digunakan untuk mendeskripsikan atau menjabarkan dengan jelas tentang pengaruh media music terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa mendengarkan music saat melakukan pembelajaran dalam kelas dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Penggunaan musik di kelas akan membantu meningkatkan kegembiraan siswa dalam belajar dan sekaligus juga dapat meningkatkan efektivitas ketercapaian tujuan. Yang tidak kalah pentingnya belajar melalui musik dan atau belajar dengan music.
