Abstract

In today's complex business environment, a robust understanding of accounting is paramount, serving as the bedrock for sound financial health, strategic decision-making, regulatory compliance, and comprehensive performance evaluation. This essential knowledge allows organizations to accurately track income and expenditures, manage cash flow effectively, and ensure transparency for stakeholders. Building upon this foundation, strong and transformative leadership significantly amplifies managerial performance by inspiring teams to transcend ordinary expectations, fostering a culture of innovation, and aligning individual efforts with overarching organizational visions. Such leaders empower their workforce, encourage critical thinking and ethical behavior, and develop strong interpersonal relationships, which collectively cultivate higher levels of employee commitment, job satisfaction, and ultimately, superior operational and strategic outcomes. The test results, using a convenience sampling method with 51 respondents, indicate that: accounting knowledge alone does not have a significant influence on managerial performance, however, this knowledge significantly affects transformative leadership character. This study also found that leadership character has a significant influence on managerial performance. Furthermore, it was found that leadership character significantly mediates the influence of accounting knowledge on managerial performance

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan faktor utama yang harus diprioritaskan dalam upaya mempertahankan laju roda perusahaan. Aspek aspek yang dapat memberi dukungan terhadap kinerja yang mumpuni seorang karyawan dapat meliputi faktor lingkungan kerja, keselamatan kerja, dan kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan oleh karyawan. Penelitian ini mengkaji dampak lingkungan, keselamatan, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Terdapat 106 responden yang dikumpulkan melalui survey dengan purposive sampling, studi ini menemukan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Keselamatan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Dan secara simultan lingkungan kerja, keselamatan kerja dan kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh signfikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Hal ini memberi perspektif situasi kerja yang dapat memberi peran terhadap pencapaian tujuan organsasi. Perspektif tersebut adalah kondisi fisik dan non-fisik di tempat kerja yang harus mencerminkan rasa nyaman serta terlindungi dari potensi bahaya di tempat kerja, dan adanya penghargaan, serta minimnya rasa khawatir akan cedera atau kecelakaan. Situasi lingkungan, keselamatan dan kepuasan kerja menjadi daya dorong karyawan untuk memberikan upaya terbaik, berinovasi, dan proaktif dalam menyelesaikan tugas, yang secara langsung berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja organisasi, sehingga dapat terus memposisikan diri dalam persaingan industri dan pasar yang dilayani.

Abstract

Kota Batam, sebagai salah satu destinasi wisata di Indonesia, memiliki daya tarik kuliner yang signifikan bagi wisatawan domestik dan internasional. Keanekaragaman hidangan lokal, menjadi bagian penting dari pengalaman wisata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh promosi dan harga terhadap keputusan beli pelanggan kuliner ayam kosek di Batam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survey, melibatkan 100 responden penikmati hidangan ayam kosek yang terletak di sebuah kawasan bisnis strategis di Kota Batam. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner mencakup persepsi responden terhadap promosi, harga, dan keputusan beli produk ayam kosek. Analisis data menggunakan metode regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa promosi memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap keputusan beli pelanggan di rumah makan ayam kosek di Batam. Strategi promosi yang efektif, termasuk pemanfaatan platform digital dan media sosial, terbukti mampu meningkatkan minat dan keinginan wisatawan untuk membeli produk ayam kosek. Selain itu, harga juga ditemukan memiliki pengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap keputusan beli pelanggan di rumah makan ayam kosek. Penetapan harga yang strategis dan sesuai dengan persepsi nilai pelanggan menjadi faktor penting dalam menarik minat beli. Lebih lanjut, hasil analisis secara simultan menunjukkan bahwa promosi dan harga secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keputusan beli pelanggan ayam kosek. Implikasi ini menjadi penting khususnya dalam merancang strategi promosi yang menarik dan menetapkan harga yang kompetitif dengan mempertimbangkan preferensi wisatawan. Pemanfaatan teknologi dalam menyampaikan informasi promosi dan penawaran harga yang menarik dapat menjadi keunggulan kompetitif.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of product characteristics and price discounts in building customer satisfaction and loyalty. The study is motivated by the growing competition among café businesses, where customer retention and satisfaction are crucial for business sustainability. This research explores whether product features and price discounts can effectively shape customer loyalty, either directly or through the mediating role of customer satisfaction. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through purposive sampling involving 114 respondent who had previously visited MoMoo Café, located in a popular culinary tourism area. The analysis was conducted using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the proposed hypotheses. The results show that price discounts do not have a direct and significant effect on customer loyalty. However, discounts were found to significantly influence customer satisfaction, which in turn significantly affects customer loyalty. This indicates that although discounts do not directly create loyal customers, they enhance satisfaction through the perception of value received, which subsequently drives loyalty. In contrast, product characteristics were found to have no significant influence, either directly on loyalty or on customer satisfaction. These findings highlight the importance of customer satisfaction as a strategic mediator in the formation of loyalty. Therefore, businesses operating in tourist areas should not rely solely on price promotions but should focus on creating a satisfying customer experience. Enhancing service quality, ambiance, and emotional engagement with the brand can result in more sustainable loyalty than price-based incentives alone. This study contributes to the consumer behavior literature in the tourism context by emphasizing the indirect role of price discounts and the central position of satisfaction in building long-term customer relationships.

Abstract

Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) serve as an essential legal instrument for fostering innovation, creativity, and economic growth within a nation. In Indonesia, the IPR legal framework has evolved over time, encompassing various aspects such as copyrights, patents, trademarks, and industrial designs. Nevertheless, the implementation and enforcement of IPR in Indonesia still face several challenges, including a high rate of infringement and a lack of public awareness. This article analyzes the IPR legal framework in Indonesia, identifies the main challenges in its implementation, and discusses the prospects for future development and strengthening of the IPR system

Abstract

The international collaboration program through educational game activities at Sekolah Kebangsaan Tanjung Surat, Johor, Malaysia, was designed to enhance three key outcomes: students’ creativity, togetherness, and learning enthusiasm. The intervention was carried out through a series of collaborative educational games (such as word guessing, puzzles, role-play, and team relays) facilitated by cross-country instructors. The implementation results indicated an increase in active participation, positive social interactions among students, as well as the emergence of creative ideas in problem-solving and group presentations. These findings highlight that a structured and contextual play-based learning approach is effective in strengthening students’ intrinsic motivation and socio-cognitive competencies within a multicultural school environment. Recommendations include institutionalizing educational game sessions within the school calendar, conducting joint facilitator training, and establishing periodic evaluations based on creativity, teamwork, and learning engagement indicators.

Abstract

Community service is one of the mandatory duties of lecturers as part of the realization of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities. In line with this, Tri Dharma activities are focused on important activities in contributing to improving the quality of life of the community, especially in developing skills that can be used in a wider range of society. One of the activities carried out was English Debate Parliamentary System Training for Vocational High School English MGMP Teachers throughout Batam City at the Batam Tourism Polytechnic. This training aims to provide information to Gugus Cahaya Jingga PAUD teachers regarding the English Debate Parliamentary System. The specific target to be achieved is to make GUGUS CAHAYA JINGGA PAUD teachers skilled in implementing the English Parliamentary Debate System in learning.

This PKM is carried out to enable lecturers and students together with the community to find the best solutions that can answer the problems experienced by the community, especially the use and marketing of Riang Food through innovative packaging on Lance Island for tourism activities which can be part of the driving force for improving the economy of Lance Island residents. This PKM activity has inspired the Lance community that Lance Island has products that are packaged into food that is worth selling and has its own charm. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan peran potongan harga dalam memoderasi pengaruh produk dan kualitas layanan terhadap niat beli. Terdapat variabel produk, kualitas layanan dan potongan harga sebagai variabel yang menjadi stimulan bagi variabel niat beli yang merupakan variabel terikat atau variabel hasil. Obyek yang diteliti berada di sebuah kawasan yang sedang bertumbuh menjadi sebuah jalur destinasi wisata kuliner baru yang berada di Kota Batam. Sampel yang diambil berjumlah 123 responden dengan disain survey dan menggunakan teknik non probability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi moderasi. Dalam penelitian ini koleksi data diperoleh melalui sebaran kuesioner. Data yang dikumpulkan telah mendapatkan uji validitas dan reliabilitas serta pengujian asumsi klasik guna mendapatkan keakuratan alat uji. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat beli. Kualitas layanan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat beli. Potongam harga memberikan efek dan memoderasi pengaruh produk terhadap niat beli, Potongan harga memberi efek dan memoderasi pengaruh kualitas layanan terhadap niat beli.

Abstract

Kunjungan wisatawan mancanegara kembali meningkat seiring menurunkan kasus COVID-19, namun belum selaras dengan minat kunjung ulang wisatawan dalam destinasi wisata religi masjid di Kota Batam. Wisata religi adalah jenis wisata yang dikategorikan dalam wisata minat khusus. Untuk mengetahui besarnya minat wisatawan mancanegara berkunjung kembali ke suatu objek wisata maka diperlukan analisis mengenai pengaruh faktor pendorong edukasi, interpersonal, fisiologis dan faktor penarik atraksi wisata, amenitas, aksesibilitas, dan ancillary service terhadap minat kunjung ulang wisatawan mancanegara pada destinasi wisata religi masjid di Kota Batam. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksplanasi. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling metode accidental sampling. Teknik penarikan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan margin error 10%, diperoleh jumlah minimum sampel sebesar 100 sampel. Hasil pengumpulan data diperoleh 102 sampel melalui kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor pendorong edukasi, interpersonal, fisiologis dan faktor penarik atraksi wisata, amenitas, aksesibilitas, dan ancillary service berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap minat kunjung ulang wisatawan mancanegara pada destinasi wisata religi masjid di Kota Batam. Hasil ini memberikan implikasi bahwa pihak manajemen pengelola wisata atau pemerintah daerah dapat memperkuat faktor tarikan dengan variabel amenitas. Hal yang harus diperkuat adalah peningkatan kelengkapan fasilitas kegiatan wisata religi.
