Abstract

This study presents the development and evaluation of a Decision Support System (DSS) designed to streamline the student selection process for dormitory administrators. The system leverages the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to evaluate applicants based on predefined criteria, including academic performance, financial need, and extracurricular involvement. Testing conducted on five applicants demonstrated a 100% accuracy rate, validating the system's effectiveness in identifying the most suitable candidates. The SAW method's ability to aggregate and normalize multiple criteria into a single quantitative score ensures a robust, transparent, and fair decision-making framework. This approach significantly enhances the precision of candidate selection while reducing manual effort and minimizing biases. The system's adaptability allows for the incorporation of additional criteria or adjustments to weighting schemes, ensuring its applicability across diverse institutional contexts. The successful implementation of this system underscores the value of integrating multi-criteria decision-making techniques into administrative workflows, offering a scalable and accountable solution for optimizing resource allocation in dormitory management.

Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of various classification algorithms, including Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), Support Vector Machines (SVM), Decision Trees, K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Gaussian Naive Bayes (GNB), and Gradient Boosting (Gboost), on a binary classification task. The results reveal that CNN achieves perfect performance, with an accuracy of 1.00 and precision, recall, and F1-scores of 1.00 for both classes. Similarly, SVM, Decision Tree, KNN, and Gboost also demonstrate flawless performance across all metrics. In contrast, GNB underperforms significantly, with an accuracy of 0.78 and lower precision, recall, and F1-scores, particularly for the "no" class. These findings highlight CNN's robustness and reliability, positioning it as a top-performing algorithm for this classification task. The study underscores the effectiveness of CNN and other high-performing algorithms while identifying limitations in GNB. Future research could focus on optimizing computational efficiency and scalability for real-world applications.

Abstract

Flooding is one of the natural disasters that often occurs in Dompu Regency, especially around the Rabalaju River. To anticipate the adverse impacts caused, an accurate prediction system is needed to detect the potential for flooding. This research aims to apply the machine learning method Support Vector Machine (SVM) as a flood prediction model in Rabalaju River. The data used in this research includes historical data on rainfall, water level, soil moisture, and river flow discharge. The research stages include data collection, data preprocessing, SVM model building, and model performance evaluation using accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score metrics. The results showed that the SVM method was able to provide accurate predictions with an accuracy rate of 92%. The implementation of this method is expected to help related parties, such as local governments and local communities, in mitigating flood disasters more effectively. This research also provides further development recommendations, such as model integration with the Python programming language for real-time data monitoring.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka belajar bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan dengan membekali mahasiswa soft skill maupun hard skill yang dibutuhkan oleh dunia kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan latar alamiah yang bertujuan menerjemahkan fenomena yang terjadi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara yang melibatkan beberapa metode, yaitu teknik pencarian data, observasi di lapangan, serta wawancara singkat dengan beberapa sumber yang relevan. Data utama dalam penelitian ini berasal dari Guru Sejarah SMA Negeri 21 Medan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang kurikulum belajar bebas, serta mengevaluasi metode pengajaran langsung sebagai wujud bebas di SMA negeri 21 Medan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memberikan gambaran tentang kurikulum bebas, serta mengevaluasi bagaimana metode pengajaran langsung sebagai wujud bebas digunakan di SMA negeri 21 Medan. Dari hasil pengamatan langsung inilah yang akan kami ungkapkan. Sekolah SMA Negeri 21 Medan menggunakan berbagai metode pembelajaran, termasuk ceramah, tanya jawab, diskusi, dan demonstrasi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause learning difficulties for class X MIPA students at Madrasah Aliyah Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela. This research is a qualitative research. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIPA at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela. The sampling technique used random sampling with a sample of 22 students. The research data collection method uses an observation sheet in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses descriptive qualitative with percentage categories. The results showed that in general the factors causing learning difficulties in class X MIPA students at MA Plus Nurul Islam Sekarbela consisted of internal factors including and physiology by 43% and psychology by 61%. While external factors include aspects of the family environment by 46%, school environment by 57%, and community environment by 66%.

Abstract

Among other things, the teacher's tasks include planning and implementing the process of teaching and learning activities and evaluating student learning outcomes. The role of the teacher in learning is the educator, the model, and the instructor and tutor. Learning success is measured based on the achievement of competencies established since the beginning of the learning activities. Learning assistance at MA NW Lepak, which has been carried out by the PPM Hamzanwadi University team can increase student motivation, it is seen from 65% of students in the category of high and very high learning motivation. Learning outcomes increase after mentoring, viewed from learning outcomes with an increasing trend. The distribution of student learning outcomes in the excellent category from 17% increased to 26%, and the good category from 30% to 32%. Whereas for students whose categories failed to drop from 9% to 0%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif course review horay terhadap motivasi dan pemahaman konsep materi keragaman suku bangsa dan budaya pada pelajaran IPS kelas V tahun ajaran 2021/ 2022”. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V SDN 1 Semaya tahun ajaran 2021/ 2022. Sampel penelitian ditentukan dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Kelas V A sebagai kelas eksperimen, sedangkan kelas V B sebagai kelas kontrol. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah posttest only control design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan non tes dan tes. Instrument yang digunakan adalah lembar angket dan lembar observasi untuk non tes dan soal uraian untuk tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif course review horay dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dari nilai rata-rata angket yang dicapai siswa yaitu untuk kelas ksperimen 39,44 dan kelas kontrol 36,94 dan untuk posttest nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 66,67 dan kelas control 59,71. Untuk uji prasyarat data dilakukan dengan uji normalitas data dengan chi-kuadrat, uji homogenitas data dengan uji F, sedangkan untuk teknik uji hipotesis menggunakan analisis uji t-test. Untuk hasil uji hipotesis untuk angket diperoleh Sig. (2-tailed) 0,078 dan Sig. (2-tailed) 0,090 untuk posttes. Hal ini berarti bahwa Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan model pembelajaran koopertaif course review horay terhadap motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep siswa materi keberagaman suku bangsa dan budaya pada pembelajaran IPS kelas V SD tahun ajaran 2021/2022

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of housewives and the culinary contribution of cakes to household income in Kelayu Village. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research and the data sources in this research are primary data and secondary data. Data collection was obtained by means of interviews and observations as well as questionnaires. Sampling using the Simple Random Sampling method with random sampling technique. Data collection was obtained by conducting research in the form of in-depth interviews with information on the husband and wife of cake culinary business actors, both individually and together using a prepared questionnaire. Analysis of the data used in this study using descriptive analysis and will be presented in the report. Based on the research results, the role of a housewife is to cook, clean, wash and meet the needs of her husband and children and sell or open a business. However, with the work done by housewives, they do not forget their obligations and duties as a housewife. Housewives help their husbands to increase family income, husbands don't mind even supporting their wives in participating in meeting family needs. With the business of selling traditional cakes, it even has a positive impact on families and contributes to the income of housewives through culinary cakes to family income, namely 54.55% and it can be concluded that the income contribution of housewives to large family income is > 50%. The existence of this cake selling business is very helpful for housewives in increasing family income and helping reduce the burden on husbands in supporting their family.

Abstract

The Influence of Learning Entrepreneurship Practices on Entrepreneurial Activities and Character Formation. This research aims to determine: 1) the influence of learning entrepreneurial practices on student activities. 2) entrepreneurial practice learning methods for the formation of students' entrepreneurial character. This type of research is quantitative with an ex post facto research design. The population in this study were students in classes X1 and X2 at SMKN 1 Sambelia. This research did not use a sample but used a population as the research object with a population of 48 students. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis. The results of this research show that: 1) There is a significant influence of the entrepreneurial practice learning method on student activities, in this case shown by the calculated t value of (3.711) > t table (1.717). 2) There is a significant influence of the entrepreneurial practice learning method on the formation of This entrepreneurial character of students is shown by the calculated t value (4.737) > t table (1.717).

Abstract

This study aims to explain the process of teaching entrepreneurship education courses in economics classes under a detailed mini-project. This research used Participatory action research (PAR) under qualitative approach. The sample size was only taken purposefully from one semester's three economics classes. This research used observation sheets in the form of learning activities and interviews.  All data collected were analyzed descriptively with the step of reducing, displaying and drawing conclusion. The research results showed the effectiveness of a bidirectional teaching model in entrepreneurship education. This model, which combines theoretical instruction with practical application, significantly enhances student engagement and learning outcomes. The bidirectional approach allows students to relate theoretical concepts to real-world examples, fostering a deeper understanding and active participation. An essential element of this teaching model is the inclusion of mini-projects. These projects enable students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical scenarios, such as developing business plans and analyzing recruitment strategies. The hands-on experience gained through mini-projects not only solidifies students' grasp of the material but also hones their problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. The study's findings underscore the superiority of the bidirectional teaching model over traditional methods. The experimental class, which utilized this approach, showed a 93% success rate in meeting various evaluation criteria, compared to just 30% in the control class. This stark contrast highlights the importance of integrating mini-projects and practical activities into the curriculum to enhance educational outcomes. The bidirectional teaching model, complemented by mini-projects, proves to be a highly effective approach in entrepreneurship education. It not only engages students more deeply but also equips them with practical skills and knowledge that are essential for their future careers.
