Abstract

Untuk mencegah terjadinya penularan Covid-19 maka dilakukan pencegahan bisa dilakukan mulai dari diri sendiri, jika badan dirasa kurang sehat seperti demam, batuk kering, pilek dan diare, segera hubungi tenaga medis terdekat. Selain menggunakan masker cara pencegahan virus corona juga bisa dengan cara menjaga jarak aman kurang lebih 2 meter, membawa alat makan sendiri bila makan di restoran/tempat umum, jika dirasa kurang nyaman, gunakanlah baju lengan panjang untuk meminimalisir berdesak-desakan atau berhimpitan langsung dengan tubuh orang lain di tempat umum, biasakan membawa handsanitizer kemanapun, tissue basah/kering, dan peralatan ibadah milik pribadi.

Abstract

Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat ini untuk memberikan edukasi yang dilakukan secara praktek mengenai pentingnya melakukan aktivitas fisik dalam menjaga imunitas tubuh pada masa pandemi covid-19. Karena dampak dari pandemi diberlakukannya physical distancing dan berbagai aktifitas baik sosial ataupun pekerjaan dianjurkan untuk bekerja dari rumah atau dengan istila work from home (WFH). Dengan adanya Batasan-batasan keadaan yang merubah kehidupan berakibat pada pola pikir dan tingkat imunitas seseorang. Pelaksaan pengabdian masyarakat melakukan aktivitas olahraga kebugaran seperti senam yang dilakukan setiap hari minggu pagi oleh intrukstur profesional. Dengan olahraga senam diharapkan imunitas masyarakat akan meningkat. Tim pengabdian masyarakat memberikan edukasi terkait cara berolahraga yang baik sesuai frekuensi, intensitas, time dan tipe (FITT). Setelah itu tim pengabdian masyarakat memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat terkait pandemi agar masyarakat mempunyai perilaku dan kebiasaan sehari-harinya untuk menjaga protokol kesehatan.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki kerentanan yang tinggi sejak sebelum pandemi dengan terdapat 60 persen anak. diimunisasi lengkap. Penyebaran pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan kelumpuhan aktivitas hampir di seluruh dunia. Berdiam diri di rumah dalam waktu yang lama sebagai upaya pencegahan dari Covid-19 menyebabkan banyak masalah pada anak-anak di seluruh dunia baik kesehatan fisik maupun mental. Dampak penutupan sekolah dan kegiatan pembinaan rohani bagi Serikat Anak & Remaja Misioner (Sekami) di gereja dirasakan cukup besar dihadapi oleh para pendamping, khususnya anak dan remaja. Untuk itu, perlu dilakukan pembekalan dan pemberdayaan melalui program intervensi kembali bersekolah dan beribadah kepada para Pendamping Sekami di wilayah Keuskupan Agung Medan.

Abstract

Pada zaman yang semakin berkembang ini banyak remaja belum dapat mencapai kemampuan berpikir kritis. Era revolusi industri 4.0 merupakan era informasi dan teknologi, dengan perubahan yang cepat, pertambahan yang signifikan dalam lingkungan masyarakat sebagai akibat dari perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi serta pengetahuan yang membeludak. Keterampilan berpikir kritis yang baik perlu dimiliki anak dan remaja. Peserta yang memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis, dapat menjadi terampil dalam memberikan penjelasan sederhana, membangun keterampilan dasar, menyimpulkan, membuat penjelasan dan untuk kegiatan akademis di sekolah lebih bisa berinteraksi dengan orang lain. Berpikir merupakan salah satu aktivitas mental yang tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kehidupan manusia. Berpikir terjadi dalam setiap aktivitas mental manusia yang berfungsi untuk memformulasikan atau menyelesaikan masalah, membuat keputusan serta mencari alasan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of the AudioVisual Media-based Inquiry learning model on the learning outcomes of grade IV students at UPT SD Negeri 068008 Damar, Medan Tuntungan District, Medan City for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. The research method used is an experimental method with a type of quantitative research and the number of samples in this study is 25 students based on the boring sampling technique (total sampling). The data on the Inquiry learning model was obtained from questionnaires distributed to students and student learning outcomes were obtained from the students' Pretest and Posttest scores in the 2023/2024 academic year.The students' learning outcomes showed that the average score of the Pretest grade IV students was 65.12 while the average score of the Posttest was 88.96. Furthermore, the results of hypothesis testing showed 6,944 while it was 2,060. So it is evident that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive influence between the  Audio-Visual Media-based Inquiry learning model on student learning outcomes in the science and science subject class IV UPT SD Negeri 068008 Medan Tuntungan for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 060886 on the food chain material through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model. The PBL model is applied to encourage students to be actively involved in the learning process by solving real problems relevant to the food chain topic. This research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of the research were fifth grade students of SDN 060886, with data collected through learning outcome tests, observation sheets, and interviews. Data analysis was carried out descriptively to see the increase in student learning outcomes from cycle to cycle. The results of the study showed that the application of the PBL model can significantly improve student learning outcomes. In cycle I, the average student score reached a fairly good category, while in cycle II, the average student score increased to a good category. In addition, student participation and motivation in learning also increased. Thus, the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes on the food chain material. This study recommends the application of PBL as one of the learning strategies to improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes in elementary schools.

Abstract

This community service was conducted in Penampen Village, Karo Regency, as part of the implementation of the Community Service Program (KKN) for the KKN course, accompanied by field supervising lecturers. This article aims to explore sustainable village development strategies to achieve Indonesia's advancement. By involving the community in the development process, it can become a driving force for national economic growth. The activities focus on enhancing local residents' skills and education. By involving the community in training and educational programs, it helps them acquire new knowledge that can improve their living standards. Teaching basic technology skills opens up new job opportunities or increases efficiency in daily work. Introducing technology to children at the elementary, middle, and high school levels is an important step in preparing students to face future challenges. The community's enthusiasm is evident from their active participation, both in material and non-material support. This shows that the programs implemented are relevant to their needs and can foster a sense of ownership towards the program. Good cooperation between KKN members and the village community is key to the success of this program. This synergy creates a conducive environment for learning and growing together. With all these activities, it is clear that the KKN program not only provides short-term benefits but also has the potential to bring long-term positive changes to the village.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Inquiry Learning learning model based on the Quizizz application on the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 064022 Medan Tuntungan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research is quantitative using experimental methods. The population of this research was class IV students at SD Negeri 064022 Medan Tuntungan, totaling 29 students. Sampling was taken using probability sampling techniques and was obtained from class IV, totaling 29 students. The results of this research show that student learning outcomes are in the very good category with an average of 81.1. The results of this research show that the correlation test results can be seen that the correlation coefficient is 0.816, meaning rcount (0.816) ≥ rtable (0.367), so ha is accepted. So there is a very strong influence between the Inquiry Learning model based on the Quizizz application on the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 064022 Medan Tuntungan. It can also be seen from the t-test where tcount ≥ ttable, namely 7.328 ≥ 2.045, thus stating that ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant positive influence from using the Inquiry Learning model based on the Quizizz application on the learning outcomes of class IV students at SD Negeri 064022 Medan Tuntungan for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Abstract

Through the t-test, it can be concluded that there is a significant positive effect between the audio-visual media-based inquiry learning model on class IV student learning outcomes in the science and technology subject UPT SD Negeri 068008 Medan Tuntungan in the academic year 2023/2024.

Abstract

This paper discusses the effect of the direct instruction learning model on student learning outcomes on theme 3 Healthy Food at class V of SD Negeri 173418 Pollung in the academic year 2023/2024. The research method used was an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest research design. The research sample involved 30 students. Data collection tools used to determine student learning outcomes were question instruments and questionnaires, which were tested for validation and reliability. The average value of learning outcomes obtained during the pretest was 46,4. After that, students were given treatment using the direct instruction learning model. It, in addition, indicated an average score on the post-test with a score of 86. It can be seen that the pre-test and post-test learning outcomes have increased. The data analysis used comes from the normality test. It is known that the results obtained are Lcount 0.200 ≥ Ltable 0.161, which can be said to be normally distributed. Of the correlation coefficient test, the results indicate rcount 0.811 ≥ rtable 0.361 with the interpretation of the r value obtained in the range 0,800 – 1,000. It can be said that there is a very high relationship between the effect of the direct instruction learning model and the learning outcomes of students in class V. Based on the hypothesis test statistical results obtained with tcount 7.333 ≥ ttable 2.048 or significant value 0.000 ≤ 0.05. So, Ha is rejected, which means that there is an effect of the direct instruction learning model on student learning outcomes.
