Abstract

This study examines the effect of production costs and scale efficiency on the net profit and production capacity of small and medium-sized palm oil processing businesses in South Sulawesi. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 150 respondents and analyzed with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The results show that production costs have a significant negative effect on net profit but do not significantly influence production capacity. Conversely, scale efficiency has a significant positive effect on both net profit and production capacity. Furthermore, production capacity mediates the relationship between scale efficiency and net profit, highlighting its strategic role in enhancing financial performance. These findings emphasize the importance of cost control measures and efficiency improvement strategies for achieving sustainable growth and competitiveness in the palm oil processing sector. The study offers managerial implications for SME owners and policy recommendations to strengthen operational performance in the industry.

Abstract

This study conducts a scientometric analysis of global financial risk management research to map its intellectual structure, thematic trends, and collaboration networks over the period 2000–2025. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database using a comprehensive search strategy and analyzed with VOSviewer to visualize co-authorship patterns, country collaborations, keyword co-occurrences, thematic clusters, and temporal developments. The results indicate that risk management, risk assessment, and financial markets remain the most influential and frequently studied topics, while emerging themes such as sustainability, decentralized finance, cryptocurrency, and supply chain resilience reflect the field’s adaptation to evolving technological, economic, and environmental challenges. Collaboration analysis highlights the dominance of countries such as China, the United Kingdom, and India, alongside increasing participation from emerging economies. The study offers practical implications for policymakers and financial practitioners to align strategies with current research priorities, and theoretical contributions by identifying conceptual linkages and emerging research fronts. Limitations include reliance on a single database and the inherent biases of citation-based analysis.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores progressive initiatives aimed at transforming work culture to achieve sustainable equality in Indonesia. In-depth interviews were conducted with five key informants, including HR managers, a diversity and inclusion officer, a senior executive, and an organizational development consultant. The findings reveal that successful transformation relies on leadership commitment, employee participation, clear policy development, and continuous education programs. Challenges such as resistance to change, limited awareness of equality principles, and resource constraints were identified, highlighting the need for contextually adapted strategies. The study provides practical insights for organizations seeking to embed equality into their work culture and contributes to the broader understanding of sustainable equality practices in Indonesian workplaces.

Abstract

This study investigates the effect of customer experience design on customer loyalty at XYZ Coffee Shop in Karawang. As competition in the coffee shop industry intensifies, creating memorable customer experiences has become essential for ensuring repeat visits and long-term relationships. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 175 respondents who had visited XYZ Coffee Shop at least twice. A structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale was employed, and data were analyzed using SPSS version 25. The results show that customer experience design, encompassing ambiance, service quality, employee interaction, digital engagement, and emotional engagement, has a positive and significant effect on customer loyalty. Regression analysis revealed that customer experience explains 58.9% of the variance in loyalty, with emotional engagement and ambiance emerging as the strongest predictors. These findings highlight that enhancing customer experience design is a crucial strategy for building loyalty and sustaining competitiveness in the coffee shop industry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh pemasaran digital dan keterlibatan pelanggan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan dengan kepercayaan merek sebagai variabel mediasi pada perusahaan ritel di Indonesia. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari 270 responden melalui kuesioner terstruktur yang menggunakan skala Likert 5 poin. Data dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) 3.0. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemasaran digital memiliki pengaruh positif yang kuat dan signifikan terhadap kepercayaan merek, sementara keterlibatan pelanggan juga berpengaruh positif terhadap kepercayaan merek namun dengan efek yang lebih kecil. Selain itu, kepercayaan merek memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dan signifikan terhadap loyalitas pelanggan, mengonfirmasi perannya yang krusial sebagai variabel mediasi antara strategi pemasaran dan hasil loyalitas jangka panjang. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya membangun kepercayaan konsumen melalui pemasaran digital yang efektif dan keterlibatan yang bermakna untuk mempertahankan loyalitas di sektor ritel yang sangat kompetitif. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi baik secara teoritis, dengan memperkuat peran mediasi kepercayaan dalam model perilaku konsumen, maupun secara praktis, dengan memberikan wawasan bagi manajer untuk mengoptimalkan strategi digital dan inisiatif keterlibatan guna memupuk loyalitas yang berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh kualitas hidup dan ketahanan finansial terhadap kesejahteraan finansial melalui pola pikir finansial positif di kalangan karyawan Generasi Z di Jakarta. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan dari 170 responden melalui kuesioner terstruktur berdasarkan skala Likert 1–5. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik kualitas hidup maupun ketahanan finansial secara signifikan mempengaruhi kesejahteraan finansial. Selain itu, pola pikir finansial yang positif berperan sebagai mediator dalam hubungan ini, memperkuat efek tidak langsung dari kualitas hidup dan ketahanan finansial terhadap kesejahteraan finansial. Di antara kedua prediktor tersebut, ketahanan finansial menunjukkan pengaruh yang paling kuat, menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan untuk mengelola dan pulih dari tantangan finansial sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan finansial secara keseluruhan. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya menumbuhkan ketahanan finansial dan mempromosikan pola pikir finansial yang konstruktif untuk memastikan kesejahteraan finansial yang berkelanjutan di kalangan karyawan muda dalam konteks perkotaan. Temuan ini berkontribusi pada psikologi finansial dan manajemen sumber daya manusia dengan memberikan wawasan tentang strategi untuk mendukung pekerja Gen Z dalam mempertahankan stabilitas finansial dan kemakmuran jangka panjang.

Abstract

Penyakit Alzheimer (AD) merupakan gangguan neurodegeneratif progresif yang ditandai oleh penurunan fungsi kognitif, memori, dan perubahan perilaku, serta belum tersedia terapi kuratif yang efektif. Kompleksitas patogenesis AD yang mencakup akumulasi beta-amiloid (Aβ), stres oksidatif, dan neuroinflamasi mendorong pencarian strategi terapeutik baru yang menargetkan berbagai jalur molekuler secara simultan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi peran protein Klotho dan asam lemak omega-3 rantai panjang sebagai agen neuroprotektif potensial dalam pencegahan dan penanganan AD. Metode yang digunakan berupa tinjauan literatur naratif berdasarkan artikel ilmiah yang diperoleh melalui pencarian sistematis di berbagai basis data ilmiah internasional antara Januari 2019 hingga Maret 2025. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa protein Klotho berperan penting dalam menekan neuroinflamasi melalui jalur NLRP3/caspase-1, menstimulasi autofagi, serta meningkatkan pembersihan Aβ melalui pengaruh terhadap transporter di sawar darah otak. Asam lemak omega-3 seperti DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) dan EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) memberikan efek neuroprotektif melalui mekanisme peningkatan integritas sawar darah otak, pengurangan stres oksidatif, dan perbaikan fungsi glifatik otak. Beberapa uji klinis juga menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi intervensi metabolik mampu meningkatkan fungsi kognitif dan struktur otak pada pasien AD. Dari hasil ini bahwa pendekatan multi-targeted yang mencakup Klotho, omega-3, dan aktivator metabolik menunjukkan prospek signifikan sebagai strategi terapi neurodegeneratif yang lebih efektif dan holistik terhadap Alzheimer.

Abstract

This study presents a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of global research trends on economic decoupling between 2010 and 2025. Drawing on 647 documents indexed in the Scopus database, the analysis maps the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and collaborative networks shaping the field. Using VOSviewer, the study visualizes co-authorship patterns, keyword co-occurrences, temporal trends, and density of thematic concentration. Results indicate that research on decoupling has transitioned from abstract debates around economic growth and environmental limits toward empirical, policy-relevant studies focused on carbon emissions, decomposition analysis, and sustainable development strategies. China, the United States, and Germany emerge as dominant contributors, with rising global collaboration. The keyword overlay reveals an increasing shift toward themes like circular economy and renewable energy in recent years. The study contributes to the theoretical consolidation of the field while offering practical insights for policymakers and researchers to align future efforts with global sustainability goals. Limitations include reliance on a single database and the interpretive boundaries of bibliometric tools.

Abstract

The informal economy continues to play a vital role in Indonesia’s socioeconomic landscape, providing livelihoods for millions who remain outside the formal sector. With the rapid expansion of digital technologies, informal workers and entrepreneurs are increasingly adopting digital tools to sustain and expand their economic activities. This study examines the role of the informal economy in Indonesia’s digital economy using a qualitative approach. Data were gathered through in-depth interviews with five informants actively engaged in informal sectors, including online retail, food services, digital freelancing, and street vending. The findings reveal that digital platforms enhance market access, promote financial inclusion, and improve livelihood resilience for informal actors. However, challenges remain, such as limited digital literacy, unstable infrastructure, and unclear regulatory frameworks. These factors hinder the ability of informal workers to fully integrate into the digital economy. The study concludes that inclusive policies, digital literacy programs, and infrastructure support are essential to maximize the contributions of the informal economy to Indonesia’s digital transformation.

Abstract

The evolution and key themes in the field of talent management research from 2000 to 2024 are highlighted in this study's thorough bibliometric analysis and thematic overview. Effective human resource strategies inside organizations are determined to be based on the fundamental elements of talent management, which include leadership, training and development, and organizational performance. It is acknowledged that the incorporation of technology innovations, including big data, machine learning, and digital transformation, has a revolutionary impact on talent management procedures by permitting more predictive and data-driven methods. In addition to discussing the implications of diversity and inclusion in cultivating a creative and flexible workforce, this study examines the strategic significance of matching organizational objectives with talent management in order to improve competitive advantage. The study also discusses the potential and problems associated with technology integration in human resources, stressing the importance of ethical concerns and upholding a human-centered approach in the face of technological breakthroughs.
