Abstract

This study examines the impact of negative social media trends on juvenile and street crime in Indonesia, focusing on the behaviors and motivations of adolescents influenced by online content. Using qualitative analysis, data were collected through interviews with five informants, including social media analysts, law enforcement officials, community leaders, and adolescents. The findings reveal that social media trends often glorify risky and criminal behaviors, which are further amplified by peer pressure and group dynamics. Nighttime settings, coupled with a lack of recreational alternatives, exacerbate the issue by creating opportunities for crime. Additionally, the lack of digital literacy among youth contributes to their susceptibility to harmful content. This study highlights the urgent need for digital literacy education, community engagement, and policy interventions to mitigate the influence of negative trends on social media and reduce juvenile crime in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of entrepreneurship education, community-based guidance, and social capital on the independence of social creative businesses in Jakarta. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 150 respondents and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results demonstrate that all three factors significantly contribute to the independence of social creative businesses. Entrepreneurship education equips entrepreneurs with essential skills and knowledge, while community-based guidance fosters collective problem-solving and resource sharing. Social capital emerges as the strongest predictor, emphasizing the importance of trust and networks in achieving entrepreneurial autonomy. These findings underscore the need for targeted policies and programs to support the growth and sustainability of social creative businesses in Jakarta.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of the DSN-MUI Fatwa on cryptocurrency on the investment interest of Muslims in Indonesia. Using a qualitative approach with five informants, the research examines their awareness, perceptions, and decision-making processes concerning cryptocurrency investments. The findings reveal that the Fatwa significantly influences investment decisions, primarily by emphasizing ethical concerns related to gharar (uncertainty) and riba (usury). While many investors adhere strictly to the Fatwa's guidance, others seek Sharia-compliant alternatives to participate in the cryptocurrency market. The study identifies key factors such as trust, perceived risks, and opportunities, highlighting a cautious yet growing interest in ethically aligned financial instruments. These findings provide valuable insights for Islamic financial institutions and regulators aiming to address the evolving needs of Muslim investors.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the uniqueness of culinary tourism and local products in shaping the destination image and influencing tourist interest in Central Java. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a sample of 150 respondents, using a Likert scale to measure the constructs, and employing Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3) for data analysis. The findings indicate that both culinary tourism and local product uniqueness significantly contribute to enhancing the destination image and increasing tourist interest. Culinary tourism positively affects destination image and tourist interest, while local product uniqueness has a stronger impact on destination image and tourist interest. The study emphasizes the importance of promoting Central Java's culinary heritage and local products as part of a comprehensive tourism strategy. The research provides valuable insights for tourism stakeholders seeking to strengthen the region's appeal through culinary tourism and cultural authenticity.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of production costs and scale efficiency on the net profit and production capacity of small and medium-sized palm oil processing businesses in South Sulawesi. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from 150 respondents and analyzed with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) approach. The results show that production costs have a significant negative effect on net profit but do not significantly influence production capacity. Conversely, scale efficiency has a significant positive effect on both net profit and production capacity. Furthermore, production capacity mediates the relationship between scale efficiency and net profit, highlighting its strategic role in enhancing financial performance. These findings emphasize the importance of cost control measures and efficiency improvement strategies for achieving sustainable growth and competitiveness in the palm oil processing sector. The study offers managerial implications for SME owners and policy recommendations to strengthen operational performance in the industry.

Abstract

This study conducts a scientometric analysis of global financial risk management research to map its intellectual structure, thematic trends, and collaboration networks over the period 2000–2025. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database using a comprehensive search strategy and analyzed with VOSviewer to visualize co-authorship patterns, country collaborations, keyword co-occurrences, thematic clusters, and temporal developments. The results indicate that risk management, risk assessment, and financial markets remain the most influential and frequently studied topics, while emerging themes such as sustainability, decentralized finance, cryptocurrency, and supply chain resilience reflect the field’s adaptation to evolving technological, economic, and environmental challenges. Collaboration analysis highlights the dominance of countries such as China, the United Kingdom, and India, alongside increasing participation from emerging economies. The study offers practical implications for policymakers and financial practitioners to align strategies with current research priorities, and theoretical contributions by identifying conceptual linkages and emerging research fronts. Limitations include reliance on a single database and the inherent biases of citation-based analysis.
