Abstract

Hearing impairment can have a profound impact on the mental and emotional state of sufferers, as well as hinder communication and delay in accessing information directly that relies on interpreters. Advances in assistive technology, especially speech recognition systems that are able to convert spoken language into written text (speech-to-text). However, its implementation faces various challenges related to the level of accuracy of each speech-to-text Application Programming Interface (API), thus requiring an appropriate deep learning model. This study serves to analyze and compare the performance of speech-to-text API services (Deepgram API, Google API and Whisper AI) based on Word Error Rate (WER) and Words Per Minute (WPM), to determine the most optimal API in a web-based real-time transcription system using the JavaScript programming language and Glitch.com. The three API services were tested by calculating their error rates and transcription speeds, then evaluated to see how low the error accuracy rate was and how high the transcription speed was. On average, Whisper AI had a WER of 0% across all word categories, but its speed was lower than the other two APIs. Deepgram API displayed the best balance between accuracy and speed, with an average WER of 13.78% and 67 WPM. Google API performed stably, but its WER value was slightly higher than Deepgram API. In conclusion, based on the results, Deepgram API was deemed the most optimal for live transcription, as it is capable of producing fast and error-free transcriptions, significantly increasing the accessibility of information for the deaf community.

Abstract

Pelatihan Pengelolaan Web Sekolah Al Lathif Islamic School bertujuan untuk meningkatkan Teknologi informasi saat ini memberi banyak peluang untuk berbagai lapisan masyarakat termasuk desa. Diantaranya adalah penggunaan media digital agar potensi lokal dapat berkembang. Akan tetapi, karena tingkat literasi digital yang tidak sama, menjadikan hal ini menjadi tantangan besar. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital dan keterampilan pemasaran digital masyarakat Desa Tegalluar melalui pelatihan pembuatan landing page menggunakan aplikasi Canva. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif yang meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pelatihan teori dan praktik, pendampingan, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Yayasan Rumah Katumbiri Bandung dengan melibatkan peserta berusia 16–27 tahun. Mayoritas peserta merasa puas dengan pelatihan ini dan  menilai pelatihan ini bermanfaat dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan. Pelatihan ini membantu peserta mengenal dan mempelajari dasar desain landing page, juga konsep branding dan promosi digital. Sehingga, setelah pelatihan ini potensi Desa Tegalluar dapat disampaikan dengan lebih mudah dan berdaya saing

Abstract

Contraceptive decision-making is a complex process influenced by an interplay of psychological characteristics and interpersonal dynamics.  which may contribute to dissatisfaction and discontinuation among users. This study examined the effects of conscientiousness as a personality trait and dyadic communication on the quality of contraceptive decision-making among women of reproductive age. A cross-sectional study design was employed.  involving 186 married women aged 20–50 years who were current contraceptive users.  recruited through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Big Five Personality Scale (α = 0.82).  the Dyadic Communication Scale (α = 0.89).  and the Decision-Making Scale (α = 0.87). Multiple linear regression analysis demonstrated that conscientiousness (β = 0.563.  p < 0.001) and dyadic communication (β = 0.358.  p < 0.001) were significant predictors of decision-making quality.  collectively accounting for 79.2% of the variance (R² = 0.792). In addition.  significant differences in decision-making quality were identified across age groups.  educational levels.  contraceptive methods.  and employment status. These findings underscore the importance of integrating psychological traits and partner communication into contraceptive counseling strategies to improve informed and satisfactory decision-making among women of reproductive age.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Kecemasan bagi Ibu hamil merupakan hal yang lazim terjadi, akan tetapi kecemasan itu sendiri juga dapat mmemberikan dampak yang negatif, oleh karena itu baik pemerintah ataupun lembega kesehatan biasan mengadakan berbagi jenis program yang ditujukan bagi ibu hamil untuk menghadapi kecemasan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar mengetahui Pengaruh Kelas Ibu Hamil Terhadap Penurunan Kecemasan Ibu Hamil Primigravida Dalam Menghadapi Persalinan Di Puskesmas Kedaung. Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuntitatif, dengan jenis eksperimen menggunakan quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan non equivalent control group design. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwasanya; Ibu hamil yang aktif ikut pada kelas ibu hamil berpengaruh terhadap penurunan tingkat kecemasan dari katergori sedang menjadi ringan. Karakteristik untuk kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol, kebanyakan usianya berkisar 20-30 tahun, tidak kerja serta tingkat pendidikan menengah. Adanya perbedaan tingkat kecemasan ibu primigravida antara yang ikut kelas dan yang tidak ikut kelas ibu hamil. Peneliti menarik kesimpulan yakni adanya perbedaan yang signifikan pada tingkat kecemasan ibu primigravida dalam proses kehamilan yakni buktinya dengan hasil uji perbandingan antara skor kecemasan pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol sebelum dan sesudah dua kelompok menunjukkan nilai p-value 0,0001. Secara katagorikal pada kelompok eksperimen (kelas ibu hamil) mengalami penurunan tingkat kecemasan dari kategori kecemasan sedang menjadi ringan.

Abstract

Learning is an activity that is inseparable from human life. By learning, humans are able to develop the potential that they were born with so that they will be able to adapt to meet their needs. By learning, it is hoped that there will be changes in behavior in accordance with the expected goals. However, sometimes the expected changes in behavior do not occur and are not even in accordance with the expected goals, so learning difficulties are born. To help solve the problem of learning difficulties, among others, is to apply learning models that invite students to participate actively and are used to find out how to increase students' learning motivation in mastering certain competencies and the existence of teaching materials in the form of PBL-based textbooks. Along with the development of teaching materials in the form of PBLbased Cost accounting textbooks compiled in previous studies, it is necessary to test their effectiveness together with PBL learning models so that they can be a solution in overcoming lack of motivation and learning difficulties. This study resulted in a comparison of the PBL learning model using teaching materials in the form of a PBL-based Cost Accounting textbook with PBL using a reference book. The effectiveness of using PBL-based cost accounting textbooks needs to be tested to find out whether there is an improvement in the quality of learning. The sample in this study is Accounting Education students’ batch 2021. Comparison of the learning model with the use of PBL-based cost accounting textbooks is expected to be able to display the quality of interesting learning activities to observe. As for testing the comparison of this learning model using a True Experiment research design using an independent t test. Evaluation of learning media is an evaluation that has a special emphasis on user-oriented from the PBLbased Cost Accounting textbook. The results showed that there was a convincing difference in learning outcomes before and after using the PBL-based Cost accounting textbook.
