Abstract

This study delves into how nurses perceive the demands and resources of their jobs, aiming to uncover their impact on job performance and engagement. The focus is on how nurses deal with workload, workplace friendships, and positive affect influencing their engagement and performance. These relationships were tested using Structural Equation Modeling assisted by the AMOS 24 statistical tool. The sample was drawn with purposive sampling from nurses recruited by health centers in West Kalimantan, Indonesia (n=213). The study found that workload was perceived as having a negative impact on performance, while workplace friendship, positive affect, and work engagement had a positive impact. Furthermore, the workload had a negative impact on work engagement, while workplace friendship and positive affect had a positive effect. In addition, work engagement partially mediates the relationship to performance; workload continues to have a negative effect, while workplace friendship and positive affect continue to have a positive effect. The negative relationship of workload to performance and engagement means nurses at health centers in West Kalimantan perceive workload as a job demand that particularly hinders them, while positive relationship of workplace friendship and positive affect act as resources that motivate their work.

Abstract

The study used a quantitative approach and was conducted in Indonesia. Respondents consisted of 200 Gen Z employees aged 18–27 who currently work at various startups. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with the help of SmartPLS software 4. Findings showed that job stress and a toxic work environment had a significant and positive influence on the intention to leave. Additionally, employee engagement plays an important role in mitigating the negative impact of stress and toxicity, while employee performance also serves as a mediating variable that influences employees’ decisions to stay or leave. All hypotheses put forward in this study are accepted and reliable. This study is limited to young employees (Gen Z) working in startup companies in Indonesia. The study did not include other generational or industrial groups, as well as did not consider additional factors such as career development opportunities or organizational justice that may also influence intentions to leave.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) play a strategic role in Indonesia's economy, but one of the main challenges they face is the limited scale of marketing, particularly in utilizing digital technology. This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to improve the understanding and implementation of digital marketing strategies for SMEs, specifically for the business "Kinanti Snack" in Dusun Mulyorejo, which until now has relied on conventional marketing. Through this mentoring activity, participants were involved in training on how to use social media platforms, such as Instagram, to promote products more effectively. They also learned how to use applications like Canva to create engaging promotional content. Additionally, participants took part directly in the production process of various traditional snack products. This activity provided dual benefits: helping SMEs expand their market reach and increase sales through digital marketing strategies, while also offering participants new experiences in the micro-business world. With proper implementation of digital marketing, SMEs can become more competitive and adaptable to the evolving times, contributing to local economic stability and growth.

Abstract

LQ45 is a stock index company listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange with high liquidity which is selected based on certain criteria or choices. Companies that are included in the criteria include having financial condition, transaction value and a high growth rate. These criteria can be seen through the company's dividend policy. Factors that influence dividend policy are profitability, business risk, corporate governance, apart from that, the existence of growth opportunities can provide opportunities for companies to grow and develop in the future. This research will examine how much influence profitability, business risk, corporate governance have on dividend policy, with growth opportunity as a moderating variable. The financial data for this study came from a number of financial reports that are filed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The LQ45 firm index category, which is listed on the BEI for the 2018–2022 period, serves as the population of interest for this study, and the sample size is limited to 20 companies. Descriptive statistical analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, simultaneous test (F), partial test (T), and the classical assumption test are the data analysis methods employed in this study. Based on moderator regression analysis (MRA), a method of data processing. It is proven that profitability influences dividend policy with positive and significant results, while business risk and corporate governance do not have a significant influence on dividend policy. Profitability, business risk, corporate governance, after being moderated by growth opportunity, do not have a significant effect on dividend policy.
