Abstract

Indonesia is a country prone to natural disasters. Dealing with the negative impacts caused by natural disasters is not an easy matter but requires various parties who collaborate to handle them, such as volunteers. The author aims to examine the urgency of altruism and hardiness in natural disaster relief volunteers. The findings of this study are volunteers, namely people who voluntarily give their time, energy, and money to help other people affected by natural disasters. Seeing the sad reality, namely natural disasters that cause many casualties. it is very important for a disaster management volunteer to have altruism and hardiness because with these two attitudes a disaster management volunteer is able to be useful to the people around him.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of environmentally oriented Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teaching materials in fostering ecological literacy among students at State Junior High School 32 in Tangerang City. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that integrating Islamic environmental values into PAI materials positively influences students' understanding, awareness, and behavior toward ecological issues. Teachers actively apply innovative project-based learning methods focusing on environmental topics such as waste management and school greening. Additionally, parental and community involvement play a crucial role in supporting students' ecological literacy development. Nevertheless, challenges remain, including limited environmental resources and infrastructure in schools. The study recommends strengthening the curriculum, enhancing teacher training, and fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration to reinforce environmentally conscious education.

Abstract

Teachers’ awareness of trauma experienced by children is the main foundation in efforts to create a learning environment that supports post-disaster psychosocial recovery, especially in 3T areas that are vulnerable to various forms of crisis. Teachers who have a high awareness of the impact of trauma will be more sensitive in recognizing signs of emotional and behavioral disorders in students, such as excessive anxiety, withdrawal, difficulty concentrating, or drastic changes in attitude. This awareness is not only limited to theoretical knowledge, but also includes deep empathy and sensitivity to students’ social, cultural, and personal backgrounds. Teachers who are aware of children’s trauma will try to avoid a harsh or coercive approach in the learning process, and instead will prefer flexible, supportive, and positive reinforcement methods. In addition, teachers who understand the importance of trauma recovery will be more proactive in finding solutions, such as coordinating with schools, families, or professionals to provide appropriate interventions. In this context, teacher training and coaching on trauma-informed education is very important so that this awareness can be systematically increased. With this awareness, teachers do not only become educators, but also protectors and companions who help students through difficult times, so that the learning process can be more humane and meaningful.

Abstract

This community service activity aimed to improve the digital teaching media competencies of teachers at MAS Nurul Maulid Muara Panas through Canva-based training. The two-day interactive workshop guided participants in learning, practicing, and integrating Canva into their teaching strategies. The results indicated a significant improvement in teachers' ability to design creative and engaging educational media. Canva has proven to be an innovative tool that supports active, visual, and collaborative learning within the madrasah environment.

Abstract

Higher education in Indonesia faces significant challenges in improving students’ ability to write scientific papers. Amid the crucial role of scientific papers as a means of communicating research findings, students of the Distance Learning Program at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon often encounter difficulties in developing this skill due to limited direct interaction and access to academic resources. The community service activity aims to improve scientific writing literacy among students of the Distance Learning Program at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon through training and workshops. This program focuses on two main aspects: (1) enhancing the ability to write systematic scientific papers that adhere to academic standards, and (2) introducing and utilizing digital resources to support writing and academic research. Through a practical approach, students are expected to produce high-quality scientific papers and become more competent in the academic field. The expected outcome of this program is the improvement of the quality of students' scientific papers, as well as the development of more effective research skills, which in turn can support the enhancement of academic and professional achievements among Distance Learning Program students at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.

Abstract

Climate change and environmental degradation are pressing global challenges that need immediate attention. One crucial step in addressing these issues is to increase awareness and knowledge about the environment among the younger generation, particularly elementary school students. Environmental literacy can help students understand environmental issues, climate change, and their impacts on their lives and the future of the planet. This article proposes a community service program aimed at improving environmental literacy among elementary school students as an effort to build a climate-smart generation. The program involves an educational and practical approach, focusing on enhancing knowledge about environmental issues, developing practical skills for environmental conservation, and instilling a sense of responsibility toward nature. It is expected that this program will contribute positively to creating a more environmentally conscious, caring, and active generation that plays a role in preserving the environment and addressing climate change in the future.

Abstract

The aims of this research is to describe the concept of Islamic counseling in dealing with ombrophobia in students. By using a literature study, research findings in the form of Islamic counseling are all types of efforts made to provide assistance to individuals to return to their natural state, and are able to develop and empower all the thoughts, faith and will that Allah SWT has given them, especially in overcoming ombrophobia, namely fear. too much rain. In its use, the steps taken start from problem identification, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy, and end with evaluation.

Abstract

Pancasila is the foundation and basis of the Indonesian state which regulates the entire constitutional structure of the Republic of Indonesia. In this position, Pancasila is a source of values and a source of norms in every aspect of state administration, including as a source of law and order in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. All laws and regulations and their elaboration are based on the values contained in the precepts of Pancasila. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to (a) describe the meaning of Pancasila in the context of the state administration of the Republic of Indonesia, (b) the position of Pancasila in the state administration of the Republic of Indonesia, (c) the dynamics of the implementation of Pancasila in the state administration of the Republic of Indonesia, and (d) the role of Pancasila in the context of the state administration of the Republic of Indonesia. This writing uses library research methods. The results of this study are the 1945 Constitution is the state constitution of the Republic of Indonesia which was ratified as the state constitution by PPKI on August 18, 1945. Prior to the amendment or amendment to the 1945 Constitution, what is meant by the 1945 Constitution is the entire text consisting of 3 parts. namely the Preamble, the Body (consisting of 16 Chapters, 37 Articles, 4 Articles of Transitional Rules, and 2 Paragraphs of Supplementary Rules) and the Elucidation of the 1945 Constitution (which is divided into General Explanations and Explanations of Article by Article). In the period 1999-2002, the 1945 Constitution was amended 4 times. After the amendment, the 1945 Constitution was systematically changed. The systematics of the 1945 Constitution after the amendment consisted of the Preamble and the Articles (consisting of 37 Articles, plus 3 Articles of Transitional Rules and 2 Articles of Supplementary Rules).

Abstract

The eruption of Mount Semeru in December 2021 had multidimensional impacts on affected communities, not only physically and economically but also psychologically. This article aims to examine various psychosocial intervention approaches for disaster survivors, particularly children and other vulnerable groups, in the aftermath of the eruption. This study employs a literature review method, analyzing nine national journal articles selected based on their relevance to the topic and intervention strategies. The findings indicate that methods such as trauma healing, play therapy, Psychological First Aid (PFA), and mental health nursing interventions are effective in reducing trauma symptoms and improving the psychological well-being of survivors. Participatory and community-based approaches, such as Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) and Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), have shown more sustainable and contextually relevant outcomes. This study concludes that strengthening holistic and locally driven psychosocial interventions is essential in post-disaster recovery strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan antara penggunaan pembelajaran metode eksperimen dengan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar kognitif IPA siswa. Jenis penelitian adalah eksperimen menggunakan desain quasi experiment dengan bentuk two-group posttest-only design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa SDN 09 Belakang Balok Bukittinggi kelas VA dan kelas VB. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa kelas VA sebagai kelompok pembelajaran kontekstual dan 30 siswa kelas VBsebagai kelompok pembelajaran konvensional yang terpilih berdasarkan teknik simple random sampling.Hasil perhitungan data penelitian yang digunakan adalah uji-t diperoleh thitung 4,74> ttabel 1,67155 pada taraf α 0,05. Hal ini berarti penggunaan pembelajaran kontekstual lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran konvensional terhadap hasil belajar kognitif dalam IPA siswa
