Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Public Relations, Personal Selling, and Brand Image on customer decisions to join YDK Group Indonesia in Surabaya-Bali. Utilizing a quantitative approach, the research sampled 40 customers through saturated sampling and employed multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 25. The results indicate that Public Relations and Personal Selling did not significantly affect customers' decisions, contrary to previous studies. However, Brand Image was found to have a significant positive impact, confirming its crucial role in customer decision-making. The simultaneous effect of Public Relations, Personal Selling, and Brand Image on customer decisions was also significant, marking this research as the first to demonstrate the combined influence of these factors in the context of non-sharia life insurance. The findings highlight the importance of a comprehensive approach, integrating these variables, to enhance customer acquisition and retention strategies. This research contributes to the literature by providing actionable insights for insurance companies, especially new and emerging players, in shaping effective customer engagement strategies and building trust in a competitive market.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of transformational leadership, communication, and work motivation on teacher performance in primary education. A quantitative research approach using a survey design was applied, involving all 33 teachers as respondents. Data were analyzed using SPSS through validity and reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing with t-tests and F-tests. The findings show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, highlighting the importance of effective leadership practices in supporting instructional quality and professional outcomes. In contrast, communication and work motivation do not demonstrate significant partial effects on teacher performance when examined independently. However, when tested simultaneously, transformational leadership, communication, and work motivation collectively exert a significant influence on teacher performance. These results suggest that transformational leadership is the most dominant factor in enhancing teacher performance. Therefore, school management should prioritize leadership development while strengthening communication systems and motivational strategies for performance improvement.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effects of funding strategies and meaningful youth participation on the effectiveness of community empowerment programs, with strategic partnerships serving as a mediating variable within Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs). A quantitative research design was employed using a survey method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed via Google Forms to leaders of NGOs that are legally registered as foundations and associations. A total of 50 NGOs were selected using purposive and multistage sampling techniques. The collected data were analyzed using path analysis with Smart-PLS version 4.6.1.1. The findings indicate that funding strategy has a significant positive effect on strategic partnerships, whereas meaningful youth participation does not significantly influence strategic partnerships. Strategic partnerships are also found to have no significant effect on the effectiveness of community empowerment programs. Furthermore, funding strategy does not have a significant direct effect on program effectiveness, while meaningful youth participation shows a significant positive effect. The mediation analysis reveals that strategic partnerships do not mediate the relationship between funding strategy and program effectiveness, nor between meaningful youth participation and program effectiveness. These findings imply that the effectiveness of community empowerment programs is more strongly influenced by the substantive involvement of youth than by funding mechanisms or formal partnerships alone. For practitioners and policymakers, the study highlights the importance of designing empowerment programs that prioritize meaningful youth engagement, while ensuring that funding strategies and partnerships are aligned with programmatic goals rather than treated as stand-alone managerial instruments.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of work efficiency, progress monitoring, and digital collaboration on employee performance within the context of digital transformation in a certification institution. The research aims to analyze both the partial and simultaneous influence of these three factors on employee performance during the transition to a digital-based work system. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method involving 40 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The findings reveal that, partially, work efficiency has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while progress monitoring and digital collaboration do not show a significant individual effect. However, simultaneously, all three variables significantly influence employee performance, indicating a strong explanatory power of the regression model. These results suggest that the success of digital transformation in certification institutions is primarily supported by improved work efficiency and the integrated implementation of digital management practices. The study implies that education and training institutions undergoing digital transformation should prioritize efficiency-oriented digital strategies while strengthening the synergy between monitoring systems and digital collaboration to enhance overall employee performance.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of brand ambassador, tagline, and outlet location on purchase decisions, with brand image as a mediating variable, using Malang Strudel as a tourism-based retail case. A quantitative explanatory design was employed using purposive sampling of consumers who had purchased Malang Strudel within the last six months and had prior exposure to brand promotions. Data were collected through structured questionnaires across six outlet clusters and analyzed using PLS-SEM (SmartPLS 4). The results indicate that brand ambassador (β = 0.611), tagline (β = 0.396), and outlet location (β = 0.336) significantly influence brand image. Brand image strongly affects purchase decisions (β = 0.472) and serves as a key mediating mechanism, with the strongest indirect effect observed in the brand ambassador pathway (β = 0.289). While brand ambassador and tagline retain significant direct effects on purchase decisions, outlet location exhibits only a marginal direct influence. These findings underscore the central role of brand image as a perceptual bridge that transforms communication cues into consumer behavior. The study extends brand equity theory by demonstrating that brand image functions as the primary conversion mechanism between symbolic branding cues and purchase decisions in tourism-based retail contexts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Information Center Management, Early Marriage Knowledge, and Reproductive Health Counseling on adolescents’ understanding of stunting prevention. Limited utilization of youth information and counseling services, low awareness of early marriage risks, and suboptimal reproductive health counseling reduce adolescents’ preventive knowledge regarding stunting. A quantitative approach with an associative design was applied. The population consisted of high school students, with a sample selected using random sampling. Data were collected through structured questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability. Analyses included instrument testing, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, F-test for simultaneous effects, and t-test for partial effects. The results indicate that Information Center Management and Early Marriage Knowledge significantly affect adolescents’ understanding of stunting prevention, while Reproductive Health Counseling shows a positive but not statistically significant effect. These findings emphasize the importance of well-managed information services and comprehensive knowledge dissemination in enhancing adolescents’ awareness and preventive behaviors. The study provides practical insights for integrating educational management, reproductive health education, and early marriage awareness into programs aimed at strengthening stunting prevention among adolescents.

Abstract

facilities, and school programs on parents’ school choice decisions. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. The population consisted of parents of students enrolled at a private junior high school, with a total of 47 respondents selected using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 26. The results indicate that word of mouth has a positive and significant effect on parents’ school choice decisions. In contrast, school facilities and school programs do not show a significant partial effect. However, the simultaneous test reveals that word of mouth, school facilities, and school programs collectively have a significant influence on parents’ decisions in choosing a school. These findings suggest that interpersonal communication and recommendations play a more decisive role than physical facilities or program offerings in parents’ school evaluations. This study contributes to the literature on educational service marketing by emphasizing the importance of word of mouth as a key determinant of parents’ school choice decisions and provides practical implications for school management in developing effective communication and promotional strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principals’ visionary leadership style, school climate, and interpersonal relationships on teacher productivity. A quantitative approach was employed using a census method, involving all teachers in the population as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results indicate that, partially, visionary leadership has a positive and significant effect on teacher productivity, while school climate and interpersonal relationships do not show a significant partial effect. However, simultaneously, visionary leadership, school climate, and interpersonal relationships have a significant influence on teacher productivity. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.547 indicates that 54.70% of the variance in teacher productivity can be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining variance is influenced by other factors outside the research model. These findings highlight the critical role of principals’ visionary leadership as the dominant factor in enhancing teacher productivity, as well as the importance of strengthening school climate and interpersonal relationships as supporting factors for sustaining teacher performance in the long term.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of salary, motivation, and work discipline on teachers’ performance. A quantitative approach was employed using a saturated sampling technique, involving all 30 teachers in the population. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that partially, salary and motivation do not have a significant effect on teachers’ performance, while work discipline has a significant effect. Simultaneously, salary, motivation, and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on teachers’ performance, with a coefficient of determination of 74%, indicating substantial explanatory power. These findings imply that improving teachers’ performance requires a holistic strategy. Although maintaining a fair and transparent salary system remains important, greater emphasis should be placed on strengthening value-based work discipline and enhancing intrinsic motivation through non-monetary development programs. Such an integrated approach can support sustainable performance improvement in educational institutions.
