Abstract

Schizophrenia is classified as serious mental illness (SMI) due to its chronicity. Rumah Sakit Jiwa (RSJ) Aceh is the only referral mental hospital in Aceh Province. The number of inpatient visits in 2018 with a diagnosis of schizophrenia is 2,083 (96.12%). The average length of stay is 59.76 days. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between history of restraint and the length of stay (LOS) of schizophrenic patients in the Aceh Mental Hospital in 2018. This study uses quantitative method. Secondary data is collected from the medical records of patients returning home in 2018. The study population was all schizophrenic patients who returned in 2018, thus using the total sampling method. The study reveals that history of restraint influences the length of stay (LOS) of schizophrenic patients in Aceh Mental Hospital in 2018. The patients with restraint history was treated longer that the patients without restraint. Restraint exacerbates the clinical symptoms of Schizophrenia and causes physical abnormalities such as wasting in the extremities so that more time is needed in treatment. To avoid the severity of clinical symptoms, extremities deformation and the length of stay, stakeholders need to take strategic steps to eradicate restraint as a method in the handling of people with mental disorders at the community level.

Abstract

INA CBG’s rate is system of health financing packages from government based on cased and hospital services. Real tariff are the actual costs incurred by hospitals service based to local governments. During this time there are differences between INA CBGs rated and hospital rates. Hemophilia is a high-cost disease paid by INA CBGs. The aim of this study was to analyze the differences of INA CBGs and real rates in Hemophilia Patients at RSUDZA Banda Aceh. The research used quantitative analyticmethod. Data collection was carried out by taking secondary data from visits of hemophilia patients at RSUDZA in January-Desember 2019. The study population was all hemophilia patients in RSUDZA in 2019 with purpousive random sample of 100 people. There was a significant difference between INA CBGs rated and hospital rates rates in Hemophilia Patients at RSUDZA Banda Aceh.which indicated by p-value 0,000. Differences between INA CBGs and real rates of hospital are Rp.-431.095.538 or -25%. Differences of INA CBGs rated dan real rates causes’ hospital loss, but hospital needs to re-review the calculation of more efficient service cost to improve the quality of service.

Abstract

This study deals with the analysis of infant death determinants in Aceh Besar Regency of 2019. One effort to get people to care and know a lot about their health and that of their families well needs a health literacy program. Pregnant women who have low health literacy reduce the success of early pregnancy detection efforts and increase the risk of death in infants or complications. This study is conducted by quantitative design using analytical methods with a Case Control approach. The result shows that there are relationship inter variables. And the most dominant variable in causing infant mortality in Aceh Besar Regeny of 2019 is socioeconomic.
