Abstract

Abstract The Bantargebang Bekasi Waste Power Plant, as a result of the National Strategic Project, has been operating since 2019. The Plant has a leachate wastewater treatment plant, which is not yet optimal for processing leachate because the COD concentration is still high. The evaluation results showed the need for the characterization of leachate in different weather conditions and formulation changes in the coagulation-flocculation chemical processing system. Combined time samples were taken over a period of time during the rainy and dry seasons to determine the leachate cahaacteristics at the same sampling point, while grab samples were taken to measure temperature and pH. Laboratory analysis methods were carried out in accordance with the national standard and applicable laboratory accreditation in the leachate quality standard parameters of the Minister of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 59 of 2016. Reformulation in flocculation coagulation chemical processing units uses the jar test method. The results of leachate characterization showed that COD parameters of leachate differ significantly between dry and rainy season conditions. In the dry season, leachate COD reached 19,883 mg/L, while in the rainy season it reached 7,605 mg/L. The design of the WWTP was carried out by improving the chemical processing unit process, including the types of coagulants and flocculants used. Jar test results showed that the choice of flocculant coagulant PACG30-FUH and PAC20-FUHM worked most effectively in terms of process, so it was necessary to change the chemicals used for the chemical processes in WWTP of the Bantargebang Waste Power Plant. Abstrak Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Sampah (PLTSa) Bantargebang Bekasi sebagai hasil Proyek Strategis Nasional (PSN) sudah beroperasi sejak tahun 2019. PLTSa memiliki instalasi pengolahan air limbah lindi yang belum optimal dalam mengolah lindi karena konsentrasi COD yang masih tinggi. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan perlu adanya karakterisasi lindi pada kondisi cuaca yang berbeda dan perubahan formulasi pada sistem pengolahan kimia koagulasi flokulasi menggunakan bahan kimia yang tepat. Sampel gabungan waktu diambil dalam rentang waktu sesuai dengan perubahan musim hujan dan kemarau untuk mengetahui karakteristik lindi dan pada titik tempat pengambilan sampel yang sama sedangkan sampel sesaat (grab sample) dilakukan untuk pengukuran suhu dan pH. Metode analisis laboratorium dilakukan sesuai dengan standar SNI dan sesuai akreditasi laboratorium yang berlaku pada parameter baku mutu lindi PermenLHK No. 59 Tahun 2016.  Untuk reformulasi pada unit pengolahan kimia koagulasi flokulasi menggunakan metode jar test. Hasil karakterisasi lindi menunjukkan adanya perbedaan parameter COD yang signifikan antara lindi pada kondisi musim kemarau dan musim penghujan. Pada musim kemarau COD lindi mencapai angka 19.883 mg/L sedangkan di musim penghujan mencapai 7.605 mg/L. Perancangan IPAL dilakukan dengan perbaikan proses unit pengolahan secara kimia meliputi jenis koagulan dan flokulan yang dipakai. hasil jar test dengan membandingkan koagulan flokulan yang ada, pemilihan bahan kimia koagulan flokulan PACG30-FUH dan PAC20-FUHM bekerja paling efektif dari segi proses, sehingga perlu adanya perubahan bahan kimia yang digunakan untuk proses kimia yang ada dalam IPAL PLTSa Bantargebang.

Abstract

The phenomenon of moral degradation among the younger generation indicates the urgency of systematic interventions to prevent the decline in the quality of the nation's future leaders. In a strategic effort to address this issue, this research focuses on exploring the development of school culture at MTs Al-Baqiyatush Shalihat as an alternative model for fostering positive character. The study employs a qualitative approach with a case study design, conducted through comprehensive data collection methods, including field observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation.The research emphasizes the implementation of fundamental values encompassing religious, social, knowledge, and technological systems as the foundation for character building. The findings reveal significant success in instilling superior character traits in students, reflected in improvements in honesty, tolerance, discipline, and social responsibility. However, the study also identifies several complex challenges, including the diversity of students' backgrounds, the acceleration of information technology, and the lack of parental involvement in the character-building process.These findings underscore the need for a collaborative approach between educational institutions, families, and communities to create a conducive ecosystem for shaping a quality generation. The significance of this study lies in its contribution to designing a holistic educational intervention model that not only transfers knowledge but also actively fosters positive character in young people as a preventive measure against deviant behaviors in the future

Abstract

Primary menstrual pain accounts for a prevalence of 89.5% of all menstrual disorders. In Indonesia, 54.89% of women suffer from primary menstrual pain. Untreated pain can cause worsening conditions such as headache, vomiting, fatigue, and diarrhea. One of the non-pharmacological methods to reduce pain is acupressure massage. Objective: This study intends to determine the effect of acupressure massage at point LI (Large Intestine) 4 on menstrual pain in adolescent girls in Bogor Regency. Methodology: The design of this study is quasi-experimental with a two-group pretest-posttest control group design. A sample of 30 respondents aged 14-22 years who experienced primary menstrual pain on the first and second days of menstruation, was selected by purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). The data was analyzed using the Paired Sample T-Test and Independent T-Test. . The average level of menstrual pain in adolescent girls in the intervention group was obtained with a pretest score of 5.80 and a posttest score of 3.53. The average level of menstrual pain in adolescent girls in the control group had a pretest score of 6.33 and a posttest score of 6.20. In both the Paired Sample T-Test and the Independent T-Test, the p-value of the intervention group was obtained of 0.000 < 0.05 so that it can be said that there is an effect of the application of acupressure massage at point LI 4 on the menstrual pain of adolescent girls. Conclusion: There is an effect of the application of acupressure massage at point LI 4 on the reduction of menstrual pain in adolescent girls in the Bogor Regency area Suggestion: Hopefully in the future there will be counseling or seminars for adolescent girls so that they can apply acupressure massage at point LI 4 at home as an alternative to complementary therapy.

Abstract

Tambakcemandi is a village in Sedati District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java Province, Indonesia. The Tambakcemandi Village area is located in a lowland area with an area of 858.309 ha, as a student of Communication Science we realize how important a good communication process is from the Communicator to the Communicator, so we Team 2 KKL Stikosa-AWS are interested in applying our knowledge in Visual Communication Science. The purpose of this activity is to help the Tambakcemandi Village Hall to apply the Administrative Flow attractively, so that the community can more easily understand the information provided by the Tambakcemandi Village Hall. Team 2 KKL Stikosa-AWS first determined the KKL place in Tambakcemandi, after that we formed a KKL Program that could be realized in Tambakcemandi, after getting approval from the Tambakcemandi Village Hall, we then formed a schedule. The results of the activities achieved during the Field Work Lecture are Team 2 KKL Stikosa-AWS can make template designs for Tambakcemandi Village Hall, Posyandu and Poslansia.

Abstract

One of the main challenges faced by partners in this community service program is the lack of understanding among PKK and Posyandu cadres in Jatinegara Kaum Urban Village regarding how to provide appropriate services and stimulation for children with special needs. As individuals who frequently interact with parents and young children, it is crucial for them to understand how to deliver proper stimulation to support the development and growth of these children. Moreover, appropriate stimulation can also help strengthen the bond between parents and their children, preventing unwanted neglect. Some Posyandu cadres are also parents who actively participate in Posyandu activities. Therefore, improving the quality of services they provide is expected to encourage more families with children with special needs to utilize Posyandu services optimally. To support this, the community service program organized a training session for Posyandu cadres on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, and Thursday, June 22, 2023. This training was conducted over two days with different themes each day: identification and stimulation on the first day, followed by counseling and a stimulation workshop on the second day. The event was attended by approximately 60 Posyandu cadres who showed great enthusiasm, both in listening to the material and participating in the question-and-answer sessions. On the second day, several participants also actively practiced the stimulation techniques they had learned. Based on the evaluation questionnaire completed by the participants, most of them expressed a desire for the continuation of similar programs focused on handling children with special needs.  Abstrak Salah satu tantangan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah kurangnya pemahaman kader PKK dan Posyandu di Kelurahan Jatinegara Kaum dalam memberikan pelayanan dan stimulasi yang tepat bagi anak berkebutuhan khusus. Sebagai pihak yang sering berinteraksi dengan orang tua dan anak usia dini, penting bagi mereka untuk memahami cara memberikan stimulasi yang sesuai guna mendukung perkembangan dan pertumbuhan anak-anak tersebut. Selain itu, stimulasi yang tepat juga dapat membantu mempererat hubungan antara orang tua dan anak, sehingga dapat mencegah terjadinya pengabaian yang tidak diinginkan. Beberapa kader posyandu juga merupakan orang tua yang aktif dalam kegiatan posyandu. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kualitas layanan yang mereka berikan diharapkan dapat mendorong lebih banyak keluarga dengan anak berkebutuhan khusus untuk memanfaatkan layanan posyandu secara optimal. Untuk mendukung hal ini, program pengabdian kepada masyarakat mengadakan kegiatan penyuluhan bagi kader posyandu pada Rabu, 21 Juni 2023, dan Kamis, 22 Juni 2023. Penyuluhan ini berlangsung selama dua hari dengan tema yang berbeda setiap harinya, yaitu identifikasi dan stimulasi pada hari pertama, serta konseling dan workshop stimulasi pada hari kedua. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh sekitar 60 kader posyandu yang menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi, baik dalam menyimak materi maupun saat sesi tanya jawab. Pada hari kedua, beberapa peserta juga aktif mempraktikkan stimulasi yang telah dipelajari. Berdasarkan hasil angket evaluasi, sebagian besar peserta berharap adanya kelanjutan program serupa yang berfokus pada penanganan anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

Sintesis nanopartikel ZnO dari limbah industri baja telah dilakukan menggunakan metode hidrotermal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu (120, 150 dan 200°C) dan waktu pemanasan (1, 3, dan 6 jam) terhadap komposisi kimia, struktur kristal, ukuran partikel dan morfologi dari produk ZnO yang dihasilkan. Karakterisasi yang digunakan ialah Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectrometry (ICP-OES), X-Ray Fluoresence (XRF) X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) dan Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM). Proses hidrotermal menghasilkan produk nanopartikel dengan kemurnian tinggi dan ukuran partikel < 100nm dengan suhu hidrotermal yang optimum adalah 150oC selama waktu penahanan 3 jam. Dari hasil karakterisasi XRF diketahui bahwa kadar Zn adalah yang paling dominan yaitu sebesar 98,434%. Selanjutnya, pada karakterisasi XRD diperoleh fasa murni ZnO yaitu zincite dengan nilai 2θ sebesar 36,23° dan ukuran partikel sebesar 33,36 nm dengan morfologi yang terbentuk batang heksagonal (nanorods) seperti yang diperoleh pada karakterisasi FE-SEM.

Abstract

Academic stress refers to mental and emotional pressure arising from educational demands, commonly experienced by students, especially medical students due to their complex academic workload. Prolonged stress can trigger an increase in cortisol levels, which promotes glucose release into the bloodstream, potentially raising blood sugar levels. This study aimed to examine the relationship between academic stress levels and random blood glucose levels among medical students at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta as an early effort to detect the risk of prediabetes. A cross-sectional design was used with 70 respondents. Academic stress levels were measured using a Heart Rate Variability Analyzer, while random blood glucose levels were assessed using a gluco test strip. Results showed that all respondents had normal blood glucose levels, with varying stress levels: 30.0% were categorized as excellent and 12.9% as bad. Spearman correlation test indicated no significant relationship between academic stress and random blood glucose levels (p = 0.134; r = 0.181). These findings suggest that the absence of a significant correlation may be influenced by the respondents' young age and optimal metabolic condition, which could mitigate the physiological impact of stress on blood glucose levels.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal di SD Negeri 1 Gemblengan serta efektivitasnya dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai budaya kepada peserta didik. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada pentingnya pelestarian budaya lokal di tengah arus globalisasi melalui pendidikan dasar yang kontekstual dan bermakna. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kearifan lokal Wonosobo, seperti gotong royong, pertanian ramah lingkungan, kesenian tradisional, dan tradisi seperti pemotongan rambut gimbal serta merdi desa, mulai dikenalkan kepada siswa melalui kegiatan Projek Penguatan Profil Pelajar Pancasila (P5) dan ekstrakurikuler. Namun, pengintegrasiannya ke dalam pembelajaran masih bersifat insidental dan belum terstruktur dalam modul ajar atau kurikulum formal. Kegiatan seperti market day, penanaman tanaman dalam polibek, dan seni tari menjadi sarana efektif dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Kendati demikian, dibutuhkan strategi lanjutan berupa penyusunan modul ajar tematik berbasis kearifan lokal serta pelatihan guru agar pembelajaran lebih sistematis dan berdampak jangka panjang.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the pattern of findings from twenty scientific articles that discuss innovation in educational organizations through a strategic approach and its implications for learning quality. The analysis shows that successful educational innovation is supported by strategic leadership, supportive institutional policies, and adaptive organizational culture. In addition, the incentive system, evaluation of innovative potential, as well as technology integration and cross-sector collaboration are determining factors in the sustainability of innovation. A well-designed strategic approach enables educational institutions to respond to external dynamics, strengthen competitiveness and improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning. The findings confirm that strategy and innovation are two inseparable elements in building resilient and relevant education quality in the global era.

Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat kehadiran jemaat dalam Ibadah Minggu di GBI Kalampangan, Kalimantan Tengah, mendorong dilaksanakannya program Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) melalui pendekatan liturgis-partisipatif berupa Ibadah Berbagi Kehidupan (IBK). Program ini bertujuan membina spiritualitas jemaat dengan menekankan nilai doa, ibadah, komunitas, dan kepedulian sosial. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui lokakarya dan diskusi kelompok dengan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR), yang melibatkan jemaat secara aktif dalam perencanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa IBK mampu meningkatkan kesadaran spiritual jemaat dan mendorong partisipasi lebih tinggi dalam Ibadah Minggu Raya.
