Abstract

This article discusses the problems faced in learning opportunity theory and statistics in grade VI of elementary school and proposes alternative solutions to overcome these obstacles. The main problems identified include students' lack of understanding of the concept of opportunity and statistics, the limitations of interactive learning media, and teaching methods that are less relevant to students' needs and life contexts. As an alternative solution, this article offers a more contextual approach, such as the use of concrete learning media, the use of technology in learning, and the application of project-based learning methods that are able to relate theoretical concepts to real situations. With this strategy, it is hoped that students can better understand the material of opportunity and statistics, increase learning motivation, and apply knowledge in daily life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in data presentation material. This is due to teacher-centered learning, and students are less active in expressing their opinions during learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the improvement in learning outcomes using the PMRI model in data presentation material in class IV SDN 42 Talawi, Pesisir Selatan Regency. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) that uses qualitative and quantitative approaches. It is carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I consisting of 2 meetings and cycle II consisting of 1 meeting. In each cycle there are four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students in class IV SDN 42 Talawi, Pesisir Selatan Regency, totaling 9 people. The results of the study showed an increase in: 1) The results of observations of the Teaching Module in cycle I averaged 81.25%, increasing in cycle II to 93.75%, 2) Teacher activity in cycle I averaged 83.33% increasing in cycle II to 95.83%, 3) Student activity in cycle I averaged 83.33% increasing in cycle II to 95.83%. Student learning outcomes in cycle I averaged 70.48, increasing to 89.86 in cycle II. For the assessment of student attitudes in cycle I, there were 3 students with negative attitudes and 4 students with positive attitudes. In cycle II, there was 1 student with negative attitudes and 8 students with positive attitudes. Thus, it can be concluded that the PMRI model can improve student learning outcomes in learning data presentation material in Elementary Schools

Abstract

This study was motivated by the low self-efficacy of students in IPAS learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the Assurance, Relevance, Interest, Assessment, and Satisfaction (ARIAS) model on the achievement of self efficacy in grade IV elementary school. The type of research used is Quasi Experimental using Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The study population was grade IV elementary school students in Gugus VI Koto Tangah District, Padang. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling, obtained class IVA as the experimental class and class IVB as the control class at SD Negeri 28 Padang Sarai. This research instrument is a self efficacy questionnaire and data analysis techniques using prerequisite tests in the form of normality, homogeneity, and independent sample t test tests. Based on the results of the study obtained a significance value of Sig. 0.00 < 0.05, that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that the effectiveness of the ARIAS model has a significant effect on the achievement of self efficacy of students in elementary schools. Learning with the ARIAS model makes students active in learning activities.

Abstract

Education in the 21st century in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, information technology is developing rapidly and significantly which causes the influence of technology. By using technology, the learning mindset can shift from teacher-centered to learner-centered. The purpose of this research is to develop interactive multimedia teaching materials based on the PBL model using Powerpoint and Canva in elementary school. This type of research is R&D development research with the ADDIE development model. Data collection and data analysis methods using observation sheets, interview questionnaires and validation instruments as well as qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis methods. The results of the validation of teaching materials showed a "very valid" category in all aspects with an overall average of 91.2 The results of FGDs with teachers stated the feasibility of teaching materials, with the category "very valid" in all aspects with an overall average of 96.96. This multimedia meets the characteristics of learning multimedia that is attractive, easy to operate and very feasible to meet the needs of students.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of use of multimedia in Mathematics learning in elementary schools, teachers more often use one-way based learning media which will make students feel bored. The aim of this research is to develop interactive learning media assisted by Google Sites on Class V Elementary School Building Materials. This research uses research and development (R&D) methods using the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate). Data collection in this research uses a questionnaire to determine expert assessments of media and test media practicality. Effectiveness testing is carried out using tests. In the Define stage, an initial analysis of the curriculum and students is carried out. In the Design stage, the design of the Flowchart and Storyboard for the Google Sites interactive media being developed is carried out. Validation by experts on Google Sites media in the material aspect received a score of 91.56% in the Very Valid category, in the media aspect it received a score of 61.33% in the Valid category, and in the language aspect it received a score of 84.23% in the Very Valid category. Furthermore, the results of the practicality test by the teacher got a score of 97.33% and the students got a score of 88.33% in the Very Practical category. The results of the effectiveness test showed that the average student score was 90.92, there was an increase in the students' knowledge score. Meanwhile, the average N-Gen Score obtained from the difference between students' pre-test and post-test scores obtained a percentage value of 79.31% in the Effective category. From the research carried out, it can be concluded that Interactive Learning Media Assisted by Google Sites in Building Materials for Class V Elementary Schools is valid, practical and effective interactive media, so it can be used in the learning process.
