Abstract

The learning process is a communication process and takes place in a system between interactive media and learning tools. This research was carried out with a 4-D approach. The products developed were validated by experts and then tested on grade IV elementary school students. Of the four validators who had conducted the assessment, an average of 86% was obtained with a very valid category. There are nine aspects assessed, namely aspects of accuracy, completeness, interest, providing learning opportunities, providing assistance for learning, motivational quality, learning flexibility, social quality of instructional interactions, can have an impact on students, and can have an impact on teachers and their learning. The results of the practicality test by grade IV teachers of SD IT Nurul Ikhlas, SD Islam Al-Azhar 32, and SD IT Buah Hati showed that the interactive media based on RME that had been developed obtained very practical results with a practicality percentage of 92%. The results of the practicality test by grade IV students of SD IT Nurul Ikhlas, SD Islam Al-Azhar 32, and SD IT Buah Hati showed that the interactive media based on RME in mathematics learning that had been developed had a practicality percentage of 91% and was included in the very practical category. The results of the effectiveness test by grade IV students of SD IT Nurul Ikhlas, SD Islam Al-Azhar 32, and SD IT Buah Hati showed that the interactive media based on RME that had been developed was effective in use with an average value of 0.74 with an effective category using the N-gain percentage. The Development of Interactive Media Based on Realistic for Grade IV Elementary Schools is a valid, practical and effective learning media

Abstract

Science education at the elementary school level requires an approach that can improve conceptual understanding and higher-order thinking skills, such as computational thinking. A Deep Learning-based learning model integrated with Eco-STEAM and Edutainment has the potential to facilitate more in-depth, contextual, and engaging science learning. This study aims to test the validity of this learning model for application in elementary schools. The approach used is research and development (R&D) with validation techniques by three education experts through the first stage for initial assessment and the second stage after revisions based on expert input. The results show that the developed learning model obtained an average score of 148.4 out of 175 in the first stage (valid category) and increased to 160.9 in the second stage (highly valid category) after improvements were made to several model components. The discussion shows that this model effectively integrates deep learning with the Eco-STEAM approach and edutainment media, which supports students' understanding of science concepts while developing their CT skills and ecological awareness. This study implies that this model can be implemented in science learning in elementary schools, considering further revisions involving field implementation and adjustments to local characteristics and school infrastructure.

Abstract

Development research was carried out against the background of the unavailability of learning media for flat and wide roving material by utilizing the Storyline 3 articulate application which can help students understand the concept of perimeter and flat area effectively. The research aims to create reliable and useful media based on the ADDIE approach carried out in grade IV SDN 12 Bukit Cangang and SDN 01 Benteng Pasar Atas. Data collection was carried out through validity sheets and response questionnaire sheets consisting of teacher and student responses using Likert scales. The learning media developed obtained validity test results with very valid categories and practical test results with very practical categories. As a result, the Articulate Storyline 3 application-based learning media developed has been considered feasible and valid for educational purposes. Students are very enthusiastic about using digital learning media because they are curious and enjoy playing with learning media. Problem-based learning has an impact on students because they become active and self-directed in solving problems immediately. So it becomes a unique experience for students.

The purpose of this research is to describe the learning outcomes improvement of circumference and area of two-dimentional figures by using problem based learning (PBL) models at Grade IV SDN 17 Manggis Ganting Bukittinggi. This type of research is Classroom Action Research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were teachers as observers, the researcher as practitioner, and 28 students of grade IV. The results of the first cycle study on the RPP an average of 82.81% (good), increased in the second cycle to 93.75% (very good). The implementation of the first cycle of teacher activity on average 82.14% (enough), increased in the second cycle to 96.42% (very good). Implementation of the first cycle of student activity on average 80.35% (enough), increased in the second cycle to 92.85% (very good). Student learning outcomes in the first cycle I meeting an average of 64.1 (C +), increased in the first cycle of meeting II to 69.2 (B-), increased in the second cycle to 76.25 (B +). Thus, it was concluded that the PBL model can improve mobile learning outcomes and flat build area in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the experience experienced by researchers in elementary schools about the implementation of fraction addition learning in class IV SDN 10 Sungai Limau, Padang Pariaman Regency, where the learning outcomes obtained by students are generally under the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM), which is 70. This is because the number of students who are not active in the learning process. To overcome these problems, inquiry learning strategies are used. The purpose of this study is to describe the plan of implementing learning, implementing learning and increasing fraction addition learning activities with inquiry strategies. This research includes: 1) planning, 2) implementation, 3) observation, and 4) reflection. Research data in the form of learning plan data, teacher activity data student activity data, learning activity data and learning achievement tests. The research subjects consisted of teachers and class IV students at totaling 15 students. The results of the study on the assessment of the RPP for the first cycle scored 79% while in the second cycle the assessment of the RPP got a score of 96%. The implementation phase of the teacher aspect in the first cycle scored 79%, increasing in the second cycle to 96%. The implementation phase of the aspects of students in the first cycle scored 66%, increasing in the second cycle to 92%. Student learning outcomes in cycle I got a score of 73, increased in cycle II to 87. It can be concluded that the inquiry strategy can increase fraction learning activities in class IV.
