Abstract

The agricultural sector has emerged as a critical economic pillar in Indonesia. Limited research has been conducted on Indonesia's agricultural development. However, there exists a body of literature that thoroughly integrates the agricultural sector with banking and the macroeconomic environment, especially in the context of the period preceding and during the covid-19 pandemic. This study seeks to explore various factors that hinder the growth of the agricultural sector by examining specific banking and macroeconomic variables. This research employs quarterly data from 2010 to 2024 and analyzes it utilizing a multiple regression methodology. In pursuit of this objective, the analysis incorporates the growth of agriculture's GDP share relative to total GDP, the financing of agriculture alongside total time deposits in Islamic banks, the margin of Islamic banks within the agricultural sector, the relationship between agriculture's financing and GDP, as well as considerations of inflation and food prices. Empirical evidence indicates that only financial deepening (GCPGDPP) and banking intermediation (GFinPDT) have a significant impact on agricultural growth (GGDPRGDPT). An increase in financial deepening adversely affects growth. This discovery suggests that the agricultural sector in Indonesia requires enhancements in productivity, necessitating the advancement of professional managerial skills and the adoption of technology among farmers. Furthermore, considering the considerable influence of banking intermediation on agricultural growth, it is essential that financial deepening is aligned with entrepreneurial skills capable of producing high-value-added products. The study presents a significant contribution to the growth of the agricultural sector in Indonesia by highlighting the importance of enhancing banking sector financing alongside the development of improved professional managerial skills within the agricultural industry.

Based on the results of the PHBS study, nationally the percentage of households using healthy latrines (39%), in urban areas (60%) is much higher than in rural areas (23%). The percentage of households using healthy latrines in West Java Province is slightly above the national average of 39.6%. The use of latrines is an important health problem both in rural areas and in Kertaharja Village. In the development of healthy latrines in Parakan Hamlet, two points were built, namely in the Karang loa block RT 08 Rw 03 and the Gatah block RT 12 RW 05. However, even though the latrines have been built, their utilization is still not optimal. where people still carry out open defecation activities such as in open land. Therefore, KKN UMTAS students carry out counseling activities on clean and healthy living behavior in every household along with Open Defecation Free (ODF) activities, where counseling is given to the people of Kertaharja Village, especially in the Parakan Hamlet area. The purpose of this activity is to improve clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in Kertaharja Village, especially in Parakan Hamlet by building healthy latrines after socialization, site surveys, triggering and pre-development, then developing a declaration from the local community about the use of latrines that have been built. . The declaration of Open Defecation Free (ODF) was held on September 7, 2022, which was attended by the community, village officials, students and was attended by the Deputy Regent of Pangandaran and the Camat of Cimerak

Abstract

The research aims to identify supply chain partnerships and analyze potato competitiveness. The research location is in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh Province. Supply chain partnership management is studied using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches. Potato competitiveness was analyzed using the Policy Analysis Matrix (PAM) approach. The research results show that potato farming is quite profitable for farmers and has competitiveness as a superior product. Potato farming partnerships are carried out by farmers at the level of seed procurement and farming costs with a profit-sharing system or general trading pattern through farming capital loans with the condition that farmers must sell potatoes to traders at below-market prices. Potato farming in Bener Meriah Regency has comparative advantages and competitive advantages. It is worthy of development based on the acquisition of PCR and DRCR, both of which have a value of more than one. Potato farming has good prospects for intensive development to increase the competitiveness of potatoes through synergistic partnership programs with downstream business players, considering the high market demand for potatoes and processed potato products.

Abstract

If there is political behavior on the part of the village community, political socialization, and effective political communication from the candidates to the village head regarding the vision and mission or work program to be implemented, village community political engagement will move smoothly. Application the day before the village head election, political outreach by candidates was typically conducted at a distance and frequently ignored political ethics, such as money politics and terror plots. The majority of candidates for village, heads have a good chance of winning the election since they generally have compact, powerful, and familial networks. Politically powerful individuals typically run for village head positions. Villagers can participate in Pilkades in addition to carrying out activities by becoming campaigners (Jurkam) for one of the village head candidates and disseminating programs that will be achieved, joining active interest groups and supporting one of the village head candidates, getting involved in social programs or village social projects, such as promoting programs that will be achieved and carrying out activities in Pilkades. The findings of study conducted through interviews show how crucial it is to educate and socialise citizens about politics, especially those who must vote. Political activities such as political socialisation and political education can be used in efforts to preserve the political system. The two political communication activities serve as a method for influencing the attitudes and actions of future system recipients and successors. Political socialisation, which aims to influence, alter, and mould attitudes and behaviour based on ideals that are deemed right and beneficial to human life, is frequently linked with political education.

Abstract

This research focuses on advertising effectiveness by considering three key variables, namely advertising creativity, message quality, and viewing frequency. The main objective of the study is to assess the influence of these advertising effectiveness variables, which include Advertising Creativity, Message Quality, and frequency views, on consumer purchase intention. In addition, this study also aims to identify which variables are dominant in influencing consumer purchase intentions. This study uses the Multiple Linear Regression analysis method with the help of SPSS software version 22.0. The research population consists of students of Universitas Perjuangan who have watched Mi Indomie television advertisements at least 3 times. The research sample consisted of 170 respondents selected using non-probability sampling technique with accidental sampling method, namely by distributing questionnaires as a data collection tool. The results showed that the variables of advertising creativity, message quality, and frequency of ad viewing have a positive and significant influence on consumer buying interest. The results of the analysis also indicate that the advertising creativity variable is the most dominant variable in influencing consumer buying interest. Thus, this study provides further understanding of how advertising effectiveness, especially through improving advertising creativity, message quality, and frequency of ad serving, can increase consumer purchase intention. These findings can be a valuable guide for advertising and marketing practitioners in designing more effective advertising campaigns.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to develop an integrated value chain-based model for the Komasti coffee agroindustry in North Sumatra, Indonesia. It intends to overcome structural inefficiencies while enhancing smallholder farmers’ welfare through a sustainable agroindustrial framework aligned with the Astagatra resilience concept of Lemhannas RI, which integrates natural (Trigatra) and social (Pancagatra) dimensions of national development. Design/methodology/approach: A mixed-methods design was adopted, involving interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), a structured survey, and a value-added analysis using the Hayami method. Findings: The Komasti coffee agroindustry records a value-added ratio of 47.34% and a profit margin of 97.59%, reflecting strong economic potential. Nevertheless, the proportion of value captured by farmers remains low due to rudimentary processing methods and limited market connectivity. Originality/value: The study presents a holistic model that integrates multi-stakeholder collaboration and digital platforms to enhance efficiency and inclusiveness. It is projected to increase farmers’ income by 35% and support access to international markets. This model strengthens national resilience by promoting a competitive and sustainable agroindustry aligned with Indonesia’s strategic development goals.

Abstract

Research Aims: This research investigates the influence of trust in social media influencers and perceived authenticity on Muslim tourist loyalty at Laut Tawar Lake, Central Aceh. Specifically, it explores how halal tourism perceptions mediate these relationships. This study expands the current understanding of the interplay between influencer trust, authenticity perception, and halal tourism principles in fostering tourist loyalty, while addressing a gap in tourism literature on sharia-compliant destinations.Design/Methodology/Approach: A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected from 210 Muslim visitors to Danau Laut Tawar using structured questionnaires. The relationships among variables were examined using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM).Research Findings: The results indicate that influencer trust significantly influences perceptions of halal tourism, thereby positively affecting tourist loyalty. In contrast, perceived authenticity does not significantly affect loyalty. Halal tourism also mediates the relationship between authenticity and tourist loyalty, but not between influencer trust and loyalty.Theoretical Contribution/Originality: This study enriches the halal tourism literature by clarifying the roles of influencer trust and authenticity in shaping Muslim tourist behavior. It offers insights into how perceived halal tourism mediates the connection between trust, authenticity, and loyalty.Practical Implications: The findings emphasize the importance of enhancing halal tourism services, partnering with credible influencers, and promoting authentic cultural experiences to strengthen Muslim tourist engagement. The study provides practical strategies for sharia-compliant tourism marketing and management.Research Limitations/Implications: As this study focuses only on Muslim tourists at Lake Laut Tawar, its findings may not be generalizable to other halal tourism destinations with distinct cultural or regulatory settings.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the formation of an optimal stock portfolio using the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM) and Single Index Model (SIM) approaches, and to assess portfolio performance using Jensen's Alpha generated from stocks included in the IDX30 index during the period April 2024 to March 2025. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach with a population of 30 IDX30 stocks. The methods applied include calculating stock returns and betas, as well as forming an optimal portfolio using the CAPM and SIM formulas. Portfolio performance is then measured by Jensen's Alpha. The results of the study show that based on CAPM, BRIS.JK and EMTK.JK stocks are worthy of being included in the optimal portfolio because they have a positive expected return and Jensen's Alpha that slightly outperforms the market. EMTK.JK also has a lower risk. Meanwhile, based on SIM, only BBCA.JK is included in the optimal portfolio because it meets the criteria for Excess Return to Beta (ERB) > cut-off rate (C^*), and shows a positive Jensen's Alpha. The conclusion of this study is that both models can identify superior performing stocks for the optimal portfolio in the period.
