Abstract

This research aims to: (1) determine whether or not there is an influence of vocabulary mastery on the exposition writing ability of class X SMA Negeri Se-Kota Yogyakarta (2) determine whether or not there is an influence of mastery of Indonesian grammar on the ability to write expositions of class X SMA Negeri Se-Kota Yogyakarta, and (3) determine whether or not there is an influence of mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and grammar on the ability to write expositions of class This research is ex-post facto research. The research subjects were students class X SMA Negeri Se-Kota Yogyakarta. Sampling used a stratified random sampling technique with a total of 345 students taken. Data collection was carried out using ability tests including vocabulary, grammar and expository writing. Data analysis uses product moment correlation analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis. The level of error in the analysis results is determined at 5%. The results of the research show that: (1) there is a positive and significant influence of vocabulary mastery on expository writing ability class X student of SMA Negeri se-Kota Yogyakarta  with a calculated r value of 0.164, r table of 0.098, relative contribution of 30.29% and effective contribution of 1.82%; (2) there is a positive and significant influence of mastery of Indonesian grammar on the exposition writing ability of class X student SMA Negeri se-Kota Yogyakarta which is indicated by the calculated r value of 0.221, r table of 0.098, relative contribution of 69.71% and effective contribution of 4.18%; (3) there is a positive and significant influence simultaneously on the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary and grammar on the exposition writing ability of class X student SMA Negeri se-Kota Yogyakarta indicated by an F value of 10.950, a regression coefficient (R) of 0.245, and a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.060. This means that 6% of expository writing ability is influenced by mastery of vocabulary and grammar, while the remaining 94% is influenced by other factors not examined in this research.

Abstract

Drill Methods for Enhancing Reading Skills in the Era of Digital Disruption: A Systematic Literature Review. Objectives: This research aims to systematically review various studies on the use of the drill method in enhancing reading skills, particularly in the context of the digital era. Methods: This research employs a systematic literature review using PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) report guidelines.  The articles selected for review meet the following criteria: (1) relevance to the topic, (2) peer-reviewed research publications, (3) published between 2010 and 2025, and (4) written in an international language. Data was collected by searching references in academic journal databases, such as ERIC, Google Scholar, Scopus and Web of Science. Findings: The results highlight several key points: (1) The drill method proves effective in improving reading skills by facilitating faster word recognition and enhancing memory retention; (2) It contributes to better reading speed, comprehension, and phonetic abilities; (3) Different types of drills, such as traditional, repetition-based, and incremental, can be tailored to specific learning needs; (4) The impact of drills is more significant when integrated with innovative teaching strategies; and (5) Digital technology enhances the effectiveness of drills, making learning experiences more interactive, adaptive, and engaging. Conclusion: This study affirms that the drill method significantly supports reading skill development, especially when combined with modern instructional approaches and digital tools. The results of this study are expected to encourage the integration of drill methods with digital technology and innovative strategies to improve the effectiveness of reading learning in the digital era. Keywords: drill method, reading skills, systematic literature review.

Abstract

The curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding learning materials that serve as a guide in teaching and learning activities. Indonesia has experienced several curriculum changes, including the 1947, 1964, 1968, 1973, 1975, 1984, 1994, 1997, 2004, 2013, and Merdeka Curriculum. Given the importance of the concepts of curriculum and learning in the education system, efforts are needed to plan lessons that align with the material being taught. The relatively quick shift from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum has made many teachers feel unprepared for these changes. At SMA Negeri 14, the 2013 Curriculum is applied for grade 12, while the Merdeka Curriculum is implemented in grades 10 and 11

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the Independent Curriculum at SMAN 6 Kota Serang, focusing on the challenges and opportunities faced in its implementation. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method, involving in-depth interviews with the Vice Principal for Curriculum. The results of the study indicate that: First, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum faces major challenges, namely teacher adjustment and the application of technology in learning. Teachers need to adjust to changes in the curriculum that are more flexible and technology-based, while schools face the need to strengthen facilities and training. Second, the implementation of technology such as the use of Google Form, Google Meet, and Google Classroom has increased the interactivity of learning, although there are technical obstacles that must be overcome. Third, full support from the school in the form of training, facilities, and collaboration between teachers has proven to be important for the success of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum

Abstract

Kurikulum nasional adalah kurikulum yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah sebagai acuan bagi guru untuk menyusun kurikulum di tingkat satuan pendidikan.Berdasarkan hal tersebut, penulis menganalisis kurikulum apa yang yang digunakan oleh SMP Negeri 4 Kota Serang, bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa efektif kurikulum nasional yang digunakan oleh SMP Negeri 4 Kota Serang dalam kegiatan pembelajaran bagi peserta didik yang menempuh Pendidikan di sekolah.Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan melakukan wawancara atau tanya jawab secara tatap muka kepada pihak terkait yaitu guru bagian kurikulum dan guru bahasa Indonesia. Kurikulum yang digunakan yaitu Kurikulum Nasional. Kurikulum nasional diterapkan di sekolah-sekolah nasional, baik negeri maupun swasta. Kurikulum Nasional, khususnya Kurikulum Merdeka, yang berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang relevan dengan konteks Indonesia. Kurikulum ini menekankan keseimbangan antara teori dan praktik, memungkinkan siswa terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran melalui metode kolaboratif dan pembelajaran berbasis proyek.sekolah perlu mengambil langkah atau memikirkan solusi yang terbaik untuk siswa dan guru dengan meningkatkan pelatihan guru, disarankan agar sekolah secara rutin mengadakan pelatihan bagi guru mengenai teknologi terbaru dan metodologi pembelajaran yang efektif, guna, siswa lebih siap dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum nasional dan menggunakan media pembelajaran dengan optimal.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis model pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia terhadap kemampuan menulis puisi. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini diambil dari 10 jurnal yang terkait dengan permasalahan yang akan diteliti. Metode yang digunakan adalah meta analisis bersifat kuantitatif deskriptif yang bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keterampilan menulis puisi dengan menggunakan model-model pembelajaran yang lebih efisien. Adapun hasil penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dalam menulis puisi bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan dan mengembangkan pembelajaran dengan presentase 70%, model pembelajaran Quantum dan Intruksi Langsung lebih efektif di SD, model pembelajaran Sinektik lebih efektif di SMP, sedangkan model pembelajaran Inkuiri lebih efektif di jenjang SMA/SMK. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen mencapai 70%. Model pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dalam menulis puisi lebih tepat menggunakan metode atau teknik pengumpulan data dalam bentuk tes dengan presentase 70%.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the steps for developing Vtuber animated video learning media, test the feasibility of media for use, and students' responses to media. This research is a part of research and development (R&D) using the multimedia development method proposed by Luther based on 6 stages of development. The data collection techniques carried out are interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The subjects in this study were students of classes VIII A and VIII B of SMP Negeri 9 Serang City. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques. Media experts and material experts carry out validation tests to determine the feasibility of the media. The results showed that the Vtuber interactive animated video learning media received a percentage score of 82.5% with the criteria "Very Feasible" by Media Experts and a percentage of 84% with the criteria of "Very Feasible" by Material Experts. Overall, the average result of the percentage gain for media eligibility by media experts and material experts was 83.25%, so as to get the "Very Feasible" criterion. And the results of the trial on 65 students as respondents obtained a percentage score of 84.26% with the criterion "Strongly Agree" from all four aspects of the student response questionnaire. From the results of validation and student response, the development of Vtuber animation media can be used for the learning process Indonesian with the theme of poetry.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode ATM (Amati, Tiru, Modifikasi), metode demonstrasi, serta perbedaan pengaruh keduanya terhadap keterampilan membaca puisi peserta didik kelas X MAN 4 Pandeglang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain true experiment (pretest-posttest control group design). Kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan metode ATM menunjukkan peningkatan rata-rata nilai dari 56 menjadi 80,5 (selisih 24,5), dengan hasil analisis statistik yang signifikan (tₕitung = 16,69 > tₜabel = 2,045). Kelas kontrol yang menggunakan metode demonstrasi juga meningkat dari 55,2 menjadi 70,7 (selisih 15,5), dengan hasil signifikan (tₕitung = 7,64 > tₜabel = 2,045). Perbandingan hasil posttest menunjukkan selisih 9,8 poin, di mana nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen melampaui KKM 75, sementara kelas kontrol tidak.
