Abstract

Administration is a source that can be used to obtain data or information. The Jember State Polytechnic Tax Center should carry out administration well in order to provide the best service. One of the administrations that must be carried out by the Polije Tax Center is to administer customer data that is present at the Tax Center. Providing services to customers can take the form of consultations on filling out Annual Tax Returns (SPT) and tax consultations. Information on the number of customers can be an indicator of tax compliance, especially for Jember State Polytechnic employees. Apart from that, this activity also provided a book for recording incoming and outgoing letters so that they could archive letters at the Tax Center. The method used is surveys, discussions and also training for tax volunteers. The result of this service activity is that tax volunteers achieve understanding regarding the importance of administrative governance and administrative management. The achievement of service activities is demonstrated by the results of feedback from tax volunteers at the Tax Center. The feedback results show that 81% respondent stated that this service activity is very beneficial for partners

Abstract

This service activity was carried out at Ilham Meubel Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) located in Bondowoso. Ilham Meubel is an MSME that operates in the furniture sector. The purpose of carrying out this service is to help Ilham Meubel in solving the problems he faces, namely related to marketing and finance. The marketing carried out by partners so far is still traditional marketing. Meanwhile, in the financial sector, partners have not recorded their finances. The methods of this service activity are field surveys, lectures, broadcasting, practice and discussion. The organizers of the activity consist of four lecturers and three students with expertise in the fields of economics, accounting, management and information technology who are able to solve partner problems in the fields of marketing and finance.This activity lasted for eight months and was divided into three stages, namely survey, preparation for creating Excel-based financial applications and websites and the final stage was training. This service is expected to have a real impact on partners regarding business. management

Abstract

Gender equality is one of the main issues in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), especially in the fifth goal which emphasizes the importance of women's empowerment and equal rights between men and women. This study aims to understand gender equality in Suci Village, Panti District, Jember Regency which has been realized in various aspects such as education, health, economy, and social participation. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that gender equality in Panti Suci Village has shown significant progress through the presence of the Women's Coalition, increased access to education and health, and the involvement of women in productive economic activities. However, patriarchal cultural challenges remain an obstacle that needs to be overcome to achieve more substantial equality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the implementation of the Local Government Information System of the Republic ofIndonesia (SIPD RI) at the Sumbersari Sub-district Office in Jember Regency. The method used in this studyis qualitative descriptive, with data collected through interviews. The results of the study indicate that theimplementation of SIPD RI at the Sumbersari Sub-district Office in Jember Regency has not yet been fullyoptimised. This is due to several obstacles in its implementation. In terms of communication, theimplementation of SIPD RI has been running smoothly, as evidenced by effective communication between theHead of the Planning and Finance Sub-Division, staff, and relevant parties, thereby supporting the smoothrunning of policies and minimising obstacles in the implementation process. However, in terms of resources,the implementation of SIPD RI has not been optimal due to ongoing issues with equipment, such as technicalsystem faults and inadequate internet connectivity. In terms of disposition, the implementation of SIPD RI hasalso not been maximised as there are still challenges regarding user understanding, such as a lack ofattention to detail during the data entry process. Furthermore, in terms of bureaucratic structure, theimplementation of SIPD RI has not been optimal due to the absence of specific written Standard OperatingProcedures (SOPs) regarding the use of SIPD RI.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the business feasibility of the Ayam Geprek Griya Dhaharan MSME in Jember Regency, reviewed from several aspects: market, financial, technical/operational, management and organization, economic and social, and environmental impact. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that from the market aspect, the business has stable demand with affordable prices and unique products. From the financial aspect, BEP analysis shows that the break-even point is only 368 portions/month, far below actual production capacity; Payback Period of ±15 days; NPV of Rp641,359,717 (positive); and IRR of 177.12%, far exceeding the discount rate of 12%. From the technical aspect, the supply chain and production process are adequate. Management has a clear division of tasks. From the economic and social aspects, the business contributes to job creation and local economic activity. From the environmental aspect, waste generated is minimal and does not cause significant disturbance. Overall, the Ayam Geprek Griya Dhaharan business is declared feasible to run and develop.

Abstract

This study presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) examining the interplay between culture and governance in shaping Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices across corporate, community, and societal contexts. Bases on PRISMA reporting flow, total of 41 relevant articles published between 2015–2025 were synthesized to map how cultural values function as informal governance that moderates, mediates, or reinforces sustainability implementation and performance. The review identifies five primary cultural influence pathways: board and organizational culture, national traditions and collective values, innovation and digital culture, local wisdom and social capital, as well as investor perception shaped by cultural context. These mechanisms significantly impact ESG disclosure quality, long-term decision-making, stakeholder legitimacy, and environmental innovation, although the effects vary across institutional settings. The findings reveal research gaps related to fragmented scholarly approaches, inconsistent outcomes on cultural diversity, and the absence of multi-level integrated models. This study highlights culture as a foundational mechanism in sustainability governance beyond regulatory compliance and encourages future studies to develop longitudinal, mixed-method, and cross-country comparative frameworks.

Abstract

Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Desa (APBDes) merupakan instrumen utama dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintahan desa serta pembiayaan pembangunan dan pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas pengelolaan APBDes di DesaKemuningsari Lor dengan menelaah keselarasan antara perencanaan anggaran, realisasibelanja, dan efektivitas pengawasan, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhikeberhasilannya dan hambatan-hambatannya. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian iniadalah pendekatan campuran (mixed methods). Data diperoleh melalui analisis dokumenanggaran dan wawancara dengan pejabat desa serta tokoh masyarakat. Hasil penelitian inimenunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan APBDes efektif, namun belum optimal. Tantangan yangdihadapi meliputi pemahaman yang terbatas mengenai proses penganggaran di kalanganpejabat, lemahnya pemantauan dan evaluasi penggunaan anggaran, serta rendahnya partisipasimasyarakat dalam pengambilan keputusan. Berdasarkan temuan ini, penelitian inimerekomendasikan peningkatan kapasitas pejabat desa dalam pengelolaan keuangan,penguatan transparansi dan akuntabilitas melalui pelaporan keuangan yang lebih terbuka, sertapeningkatan keterlibatan masyarakat dalam musyawarah dan pengawasan APBDes.Diharapkan hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan masukan bagi pemerintah desa danpemangku kepentingan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi pengelolaan APBDesguna mendorong pembangunan desa.

Abstract

The era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 has positioned digitalization as a key strategy to enhance business competitiveness in the post-COVID-19 period. Digital transformation opens new opportunities for the maritime sector, which holds significant potential yet remains underutilized. This study examines the integration of the Blue Economy concept and digitalization in the development of coastal MSMEs in Payangan Beach, Jember Regency, as an effort to sustainably improve community welfare. The utilization of marine resources in the area is still limited to raw forms, which have low economic value. Processing marine products into value-added items such as fish floss, fish skin crackers, and fish meal is considered effective in boosting the local economy. Digital marketing through social media and online marketplaces is employed to expand market reach. The implementation of this initiative includes training in product processing, financial management, and digital marketing for housewives and youth in Sumberejo Village. The Blue Economy concept is applied by emphasizing environmental sustainability and waste reduction. The results of the study indicate that integrating digitalization and the blue economy holds the potential to create new economic opportunities and strengthen the foundation for sustainable development in coastal areas.

Abstract

Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kesehatan koperasi, kepatuhan terhadap regulasi pemerintah, perilaku pekerja, dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi terhadap sustainability koperasi. Metodologi: Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan data primer yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 66 responden yang ditentukan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik regresi linear berganda. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kesehatan koperasi, kepatuhan terhadap regulasi pemerintah, perilaku pekerja, dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap sustainability koperasi Orisinalitas: Penelitian ini memiliki orisinalitas dengan menganalisis faktor-faktor penentu sustainability koperasi simpan pinjam di Kabupaten Jember berdasarkan integrasi indikator kesehatan koperasi, kepatuhan terhadap regulasi pemerintah, perilaku pekerja, dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi dalam konteks kelembagaan koperasi lokal

Abstract

Waste management in Indonesia remains a critical challenge for suistainable development, exacerbated by population growth and changing consumption patterns. Data from Ministry of Environtment and Forestry (KLHK) in 2024 shows that only 59.94% of 33.7 million tons of annual waste in properly managed, with the rest polluting rivers or being burned. Jember Regency, for instance, faces low public awareness, inadequate infrastructure, and limited economic value from domestic waste. This Study aims to address these issues by developing TRASHURE, an ESG-Based digital platform managed by Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes), to transform waste into suistainable investments. Using the prototype method, the research iteratively designed a web application through rapid feedback cycles with BUMDes and rural communities. Key features include waste collection tracking, an educational module, a marketplace for recycled products,and suistainability accounting. The prototype process involved three iterations, refining usability and functionality based on user input. Result demonstrate that TRASHURE enchances community participation, reduces environmental pollution, and supports Suistainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goals 12 (Responsible Consumption) and 13 (Climate Action).
