Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam membaca Al-Qur’an dan Iqra sesuai dengan kaidah tajwid melalui pelaksanaan kagiatan program mengaji di MIS Al-Jihad Kota Palangka Raya. Program ini dirancang untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas IV C, yaitu rendahnya kemampuan peserta didik dalam melafalkan bacaan panjang dan pendek serta kurangnya pemahaman terhadap hukum tajwid. Metode pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui kegiatan pembelajaran langsung, di mana peserta didik diminta membaca Al-Qur’an dan Iqra, kemudian tenaga pengajar menyimak, membimbing, serta memperbaiki kesalahan bacaan yang muncul. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan secara rutin setiap hari dari hari senin sampai dengan hari selasa setelah pembelajaran dan sholat dzuhur berjamaah dengan tenaga pengajar sebagai pembimbing. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta didik dalam membaca Al-Qur’an secara fasih dan benar sesuai dengan tajwid. Kesimpulannya, program mengaji ini efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca Al-Qur’an sekaligus menanamkan nilai-nilai religius dan semangat cinta Al-Qur’an pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan Tari Dayak Kreasi dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk menguatkan karakter siswa kelas 5B MIS Al Jihad Palangka Raya melalui kegiatan seni tari berbasis budaya lokal. Kegiatan ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Learning System (PALS) yang melibatkan tiga tahapan utama, yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan refleksi. Pada tahap perencanaan dilakukan observasi untuk mengidentifikasi permasalahan yang ada, seperti rendahnya rasa percaya diri, kurangnya disiplin, dan lemahnya kerja sama antar siswa. Tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan selama dua minggu dengan melatih siswa gerakan dasar hingga penyajian tari Dayak Kreasi. Selama proses pelatihan, siswa menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi dan mengalami perkembangan positif dalam aspek karakter. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini mampu meningkatkan rasa percaya diri siswa untuk tampil di depan umum, menumbuhkan sikap disiplin dalam mengikuti jadwal latihan, serta memperkuat kerja sama antar anggota kelompok. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan rasa cinta terhadap budaya lokal dan memperkenalkan nilai-nilai luhur dalam tari tradisional Dayak. Dengan demikian, pelatihan Tari Dayak Kreasi terbukti menjadi sarana efektif dalam penguatan karakter siswa serta mendukung pendidikan berbasis budaya di lingkungan sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini dilihat dari permaslahan yang ada dilapangan yaitu kemampuan anak-anak diwilayah perbatasan rendah pengetahuannya, seperti anak-anak yang sudah tergolong kelas tinggi namun belum bisa membaca. Hal ini dikarenakan faktor orang tua dan pihak sekolah bermasalah pada saat kenaikan kelas. Sehingga ketika sekolah tidak menaikkan kelas akan terjadi pertentangan, maka dari itu perlu adanya bimbingan diluar jam sekolah. Tujuan adanya PKM untuk memberikan Pendampingan Pengajaran Melalui Rumah Binaan Anak KKN Kebangsaan di Wilayah Perbatasan Indonesia -Malaysia agar anak-anak bisa mendapatkan pendidikan diluar jam sekolah secara gratis sehingga problem rendahnya pengetahuan anak dapat di atasi. Metode PKM ini menggunakan metode pendidikan masyarakat dengan tujuan memberikan pendampingan pengajaran kepada anak-anak di Rumah Binaan Anak. Pengajaran dilakukan sebanyak 6 kali dalam rentan waktu 3 kali dalam seminggu (Hari Senin, Rabu dan Kamis). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui pendampingan pengajaran di Rumah Binaan Anak telah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Ketertarikan anak- anak berkunjung di perpustakaan sangat rendah, setelah adanya kombinasi kegiatan berupa Rumah Binaan Anak secara gratis dengan literasi yang bertempat di perpustakaan memberikan peningkatan antusias anak-anak mengikuti, bahkan selaku orang tua anak juga ikut serta mendampingi anak-anaknya. Pendampingan ini memiliki keunggulan dimana anak-anak juga diberikan pembiasaan membaca diperpustakaan sebeleum pembelajaran dimulai, sehingga PKM ini sangat memberikan manfaat yang baik untuk anak-anak.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Animated Drawings learning media in improving learning outcomes in drawing, as well as to determine student learning outcomes after the application of Animated Drawings learning media. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), which consists of stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study consisted of 22 fourth grade students at SDIT AL-Qonita Palangka Raya, where 11 female students and 11 male students. With data collection techniques consisting of observation, documentation, and tests. The results of this study indicate that in the application of Animated Drawings learning media, it can create learning that is increasing, creative, effective in the quality of learning outcomes and is able to encourage students to think critically. In addition, the activities of teachers and students during the learning process can also have an effect, but both increase with very good criteria. The students' learning outcomes from cycle I were on average 7.409 and classical completeness was 23%, and increased in cycle II with an average value of 12.409 and classical completeness of 77%.

Abstract

This research aims to identify the learning methods employed during the COVID-19 pandemic for first-grade students in SD/MI schools in Palangka Raya City. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from school principals and first-grade teachers at four different SD/MI schools. The study employed Miles and Huberman's data analysis techniques, incorporating triangulation for data validation. The findings reveal four distinct learning methods implemented during the pandemic: online learning, limited face-to-face learning (PTMT), health protocol-compliant face-to-face learning, and complete offline face-to-face learning. Online learning was primarily used when strict social distancing measures were in place. PTMT was adopted to combine online and limited in-person sessions, ensuring minimal physical interaction. Health protocol-compliant face-to-face learning involved strict adherence to health guidelines during in-person classes. In contrast, complete health protocol offline face-to-face learning resumed normal classroom activities when permitted. The research concludes that these methods varied in effectiveness and adaptation based on the schools' resources and students' needs. This study highlights the diverse approaches schools took to maintain educational continuity, showcasing the flexibility and resilience of the education system in Palangka Raya City during the pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of Natural and Social Science learning using PhET simulation media and to examine its effect on students’ learning outcomes. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design, employing a one-group pretest–posttest model. The participants consisted of 26 students, and data were collected through teacher and student activity observation sheets, as well as pretest and posttest assessments. The findings indicate that the use of PhET simulation media in teaching electricity was highly effective, with teacher and student activity scores averaging 97.5% and 92.3%, respectively. The mean pretest score was 51.15, which increased to 84.23 in the posttest. Because the data were not normally distributed, the Wilcoxon test was applied, yielding a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05). These results demonstrate a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores, suggesting that PhET simulation media can significantly enhance student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Science instruction.

Abstract

This service aims to evaluate the role of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) students in recognising animal names using print media at MI Muslimat NU Palangka Raya. Through a qualitative approach, this activity involves observation, interviews, and documentation conducted by PGMI students on grade 1C students. The results show that PGMI students effectively facilitate interactive learning using print media such as posters, which can increase students' interest and understanding of animal names. Challenges faced, such as limited time and resources, can be overcome with creative teaching strategies. These activities enrich students' knowledge and develop their literacy skills.

Abstract

This research is based on learning problems that cannot be carried out face-to-face because of the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic condition until now, so learning must be carried out by blended learning or face-to-face distance at private Islamic high schools throughout Palangka Raya to reduce the spread of the virus. Covid-19 continues to increase. For this reason, the formulation of the problem in this study is 1) How is the effectiveness of PAI learning with blended learning models in private Islamic high schools throughout Palangka Raya? 2) What are the teacher's obstacles in the PAI learning process with the blended learning model in private Islamic high schools throughout Palangka Raya? This study aims to describe the effectiveness of PAI learning with the blended learning model and the teacher's obstacles in the learning process at private Islamic high schools throughout Palangka Raya. This research was conducted using the descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palangka Raya, SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palangka Raya and SMA Nahdatul Ulama Palangka Raya. The subjects of this research are teachers who teach PAI subjects. For data collection using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The data validation technique uses persistence and constancy of observation and triangulation. Meanwhile, data analysis was carried out using data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The effectiveness of PAI learning with the blended learning model in private Islamic high schools throughout Palangka Raya is still not maximized because students' interest and motivation to learn decreases and students feel bored with the distance learning model or blended learning so that the strategy used by the teacher in teaching can not run optimally. In addition, the small allocation of learning time also causes the explanation of the material to be less effective. 2) The teacher's obstacle in the learning process is the lack of student participation in learning. This is because the main obstacles that occur are the difficulty of the signal and the weak internet network that occurs to students. In addition, the limited quota is also an obstacle for students who have economic limitations.
