Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) Kuranji Village, West Lombok, focuses on waste management through Zero Waste socialization and the implementation of biopore infiltration pipes. The Zero Waste concept is applied based on the 3R principles (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) to minimize waste accumulation. One of the methods used is biopore, which consists of infiltration holes that facilitate the decomposition of organic waste while enhancing water absorption. The program begins with public socialization involving the local government, followed by the construction of biopore holes using PVC pipes. Organic waste, such as food scraps and leaves, is placed into the biopore pipes to accelerate decomposition. Regular maintenance is carried out by adding rice washing water to support microbial activity. As a result, the community has demonstrated an increased understanding of waste management, while the biopore pipes have proven effective in reducing waste buildup and improving soil quality. This program highlights the importance of active community participation in achieving sustainable waste management. Consequently, Kuranji Village is expected to serve as a model for implementing the Zero Waste concept and promoting more environmentally friendly waste management practices.

Abstract

BIPA merupakan sebuah program yang membelajarkan bahasa Indonesia untuk orang asing. Pada pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia bagi penutur asing pengajar harus memperhatikan bagaimana metode yang akan diajarkan kepada pemelajar. Pembelajaran BIPA memerlukan metode khusus yang disesuaikan dengan aspek bahasa dan tingkat pemahaman siswa sesuai dengan levelnya. Hal tersebut diperlukan karena sangat berpengaruh terhadap proses serta hasil dalam pembelajaran, sehingga diperlukannya metode yang tepat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas dari metode langsung tersebut pada pembelajaran BIPA teruntuk keterampilan membaca dan menulis mengenai materi transportasi pada level 1. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan bahan ajar berupa teks bacaan yang menjadi instrumen penilaiannya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui praktik oleh lima pemelajar BIPA Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta yang berasal dari Thailand dan Kamboja. Hasil dari penelitian yang sudah dilakukan adalah penggunaan metode langsung bagi pembelajaran BIPA untuk keterampilan membaca dan menulis dikatakan efektif karena pemelajar mampu memahami serta mampu menulis teks deskripsi singkat mengenai materi transportasi dengan baik.

Abstract

Study ini bertujuan guna menganalisis keterlaksanaan serta kenaikan hasil belajar siswa kelas V dalam mata pelajaran IPA melalui media komik. Jenis study ini ialah Study Tindakan Kelas(PTK)yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Subjek study mencakup 10 siswa kelas V SDN Kompleks IKIP I, dengan 5 siswa laki-laki serta 5 siswa perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, tes, serta dokumentasi. Instrumen study mencakup lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, aktivitas siswa, serta lembar tes. Data dianalisis memakai metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil menginterpretasikan   keterlaksanaan serta hasil belajar siswa meningkat. Pada siklus I, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran meraih 84%(baik), serta meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 94%(sangat baik). Aktivitas siswa turut meningkat dari 70%(aktif)pada siklus I menjadi 82%(sangat aktif)di siklus II. Hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 30%(sangat rendah)pada siklus I menjadi 100%(tinggi)di siklus II.

Abstract

Implanting teachings and values in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) since elementary school age is an important foundation in shaping students who have strong faith, commendable morals, and a sense of responsibility. The presence ofthe Merdeka Curriculum as a new learning system provides freedom for educators to develop moral and spiritual aspects through student -centered approaches and based on real life contexts. This study aims to evaluate the extent to which PAI values can be integrated optimally in the implementation of an independent curriculum at the elementary scl level, as well as examining the opportunities and obstacles that accompany it. This study uses a literature study method with a descriptive-qualitative approach, utilizing references from various academic publications, curriculum policies, and educational implementation reports. The findings show that the independent curriculum provides great potential for strengthening religious values, such as through the integration of Pancasila student profiles, freedom to design learning, as well as the implementation of value-oriented projects. However, a number of obstacles also emerged, including the limitations of teacher understanding of the value integration model, the disparity of learning facilities, and the need for sustainable training for educators. Therefore, the synergy between various parties, especially schools, teachers, parents, and government is the key in ensuring PAI's values are truly manifested in the educational process, not only theoretical. This study is expected to be a conceptual contribution in designing contextual religious education and in harmony with today's national curriculum policy.

Abstract

Karya sastra merupakan ungkapan kreativitas berdasarkan fakta dan imajinasi yang ditulis berdasarkan cerminan kehidupan manusia setelah melalui proses pemikiran terhadap fenomena yang terjadi. Bahasa dalam sebuah karya sastra memiliki daya tarik masing-masing sesuai dengan pengarang dan ciri khasnya. Cerita anak dapat disajikan dalam bentuk buku cerita bergambar untuk menarik minat anak dalam membaca dan membantu pemahaman isi cerita. Selain sebagai hiburan dan kesenangan, anak-anak juga dapat belajar merefleksikan makna karya sastra. Oleh karena itu, menganalisis penanda dan petanda dalam cerita pendek sangat penting untuk memahami makna cerita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis penanda dan petanda dalam buku cerita bergambar "Ketika Rob Datang". Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan semiotika Ferdinand de Saussure. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kualitatif yang berfokus pada makna dan dijelaskan secara deskriptif. Dalam konteks buku cerita bergambar, konsep ini dapat diterapkan untuk menganalisis bagaimana gambar dan teks saling berinteraksi untuk menciptakan sebuah makna.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of digital media in English teaching at SMA IT Dasan Baru. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, the research involved interviews with teachers and students, as well as classroom observations. The study intends to identify the benefits of digital media in improving language skills such as speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while also considering the challenges faced in a pesantren environment. The findings of this study are expected to benefit both theoretical and practical perspectives, offering a deeper understanding of how digital media can be leveraged to support English learning in traditional school settings, and motivating students to engage more effectively in language acquisition.

Abstract

The development of industrial enterprises today is increasingly demanding quality human resources. PT Selim Elektro is a company engaged in the assembly of electronic cables that produce wire harnesses, especially in the Brebes region. The problem that arises today at PT Selim Elektro is about the performance of employees who have not been optimal. Employee performance is the main focus that must be improved immediately so that work targets are achieved and increased. The success of an enterprise cannot be achieved if it relies solely on individual efforts, but requires cooperation between employees and the organization of learners within the company. The purpose of this study was to determine how much influence teamwork and learning organizations have on the performance of PT Selim Elektro employees. This research uses quantitative methods. The method of sampling in a random way, as well as the number of samples were established by the Slovin formula, a total of 91 employees. The data analysis tools in this study used the analysis of t-test tests, F tests, and multiple linear regression tests, which were tested by instruments with previous validity and reliability tests. The results of this study show that teamwork and learning organizations can affect the improvement of the performance of PT Sellim Elektro employees. The amount of influence of teamwork variables and learning organization variables on employee performance variables was 54.3%, and the rest by other variables not examined

Abstract

Human Architects cannot be replaced, even with Artificial Intelligence, but Artificial Intelligence could represent an Architect, especially in problem-solving. An architect is not eternal. Brilliant ideas vanished alongside the physical form of an Architect. By respecting the Architect who had left this world while simultaneously keeping the brilliant ideas alive, Artificial Intelligence could represent the Architect as a legacy that always lives through unique problem-solving solutions according to each individual. Using the methods done in the past, such as GANs, writers design the shape of an Artificial Intelligence by using data collection methods such as manual input, then realizing the Artificial Intelligence through machine learning, and later will be available through a digital application like a book. This book could interact with its reader. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods based on a literature review on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the world of architecture. The results obtained are that humans will live side by side with technology, and in the future.

Abstract

Pakem merupakan wilayah rawan bencana erupsi Gunung Merapi dan gempa bumi, sehingga memerlukan edukasi mitigasi bencana yang efektif. Pengabdian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis permainan edukatif, yaitu Action and Info Estafet Game. Permainan ini memiliki tiga tahapan: (1) Do the Thing, berupa pelaksanaan gerakan sederhana sesuai instruksi saat erupsi atau gempa; (2) Disaster Information, di mana siswa membaca informasi dan menyusun kartu instruksi menjadi papan informasi; serta (3) Quick Quiz, yaitu kompetisi antarregu menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan informasi dari tahap sebelumnya. Skor tertinggi dari setiap regu akan menentukan pemenang.Proses pengembangan diawali dengan survei lokasi dan riset awal, serta presentasi hasil kepada tim pembimbing dalam program Asian Cooperative Program (ACP). Permainan ini kemudian diterapkan pada siswa SMP Negeri 4 Pakem dan dinilai menggunakan instrumen Short User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) untuk mengukur pengalaman pengguna. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa permainan ini efektif meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terkait mitigasi bencana, sekaligus memberikan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan menyenangkan. Action and Info Estafet Game menjadi inovasi media pembelajaran yang relevan untuk meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan siswa menghadapi bencana.
