Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan tingkat kecemasan siswa dan kemampuan pemahaman matematika mereka pada materi bilangan bulat di kelas VII SMP Negeri 4 Kecamatan Pangaribuan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, yang berfokus pada pengumpulan dan analisis data numerik untuk menggambarkan kondisi kedua variabel tersebut tanpa menguji hubungan atau pengaruh antara keduanya. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket untuk mengukur tingkat kecemasan siswa dan tes untuk menilai kemampuan pemahaman matematika siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya variasi pada tingkat kecemasan siswa, yang terbagi menjadi kategori rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Begitu juga dengan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa mencakup beberapa indikator, seperti menyatakan ulang konsep, mengklasifikasi objek berdasarkan sifatnya, mengaplikasikan konsep, serta menyajikan konsep kedalam berbagai bentuk representasi. Penelitian ini menyajikan gambaran yang jelas mengenai distribusi kecemasan dan kemampuan pemahaman matematika tanpa menganalisis keterkaitan antara kedua variabel tersebut. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat membantu pihak pendidik untuk merancang strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan memperhatikan kondisi psikologis siswa, khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran matematika pada materi bilangan bulat.

Abstract

The ability of ChatGPT to understand conversational context and provide relevant responses makes it very useful in human-computer interactions. ChatGPT can be a very useful tool for mathematics teachers in their role as tutors to learn and teach various applications related to mathematics. In this digital era, mathematical applications and software like GeoGebra, Matlab, Augmented Reality, and SPSS are becoming increasingly important in teaching and learning mathematics. ChatGPT can help teachers understand how to use these tools by providing detailed explanations, tutorials, and examples of their application in teaching. This research aims to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of ChatGPT in helping teachers understand and apply technologies such as GeoGebra, Matlab, Augmented Reality, and SPSS. Participants in this case study research consisted of 5 teachers. The categories of participant questions asked to ChatGPT included (1) General explanation of the application, (2) How to download the application, (3) Equipment specifications required, (4) General use of the application, and (5) Requesting sample commands in the application. The results of this study indicate that participants will successfully use ChatGPT as a tutor for learning Mathematics Application Programs if they have the necessary equipment specifications required by the applications and are able to download the applications.

Abstract

Pendidikan berbasis Pancasila memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang menghargai keberagaman budaya dan sosial di Indonesia. Namun, tantangan globalisasi menyebabkan menurunnya kesadaran akan nilai kebhinekaan di kalangan pelajar. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan sikap kebhinekaan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis proyek (Project-Based Learning/PBL) di SMA Swasta Setia Budi Abadi Perbaungan. Metode yang diterapkan meliputi kegiatan Salam Pagi, bimbingan pembuatan karya seni, serta Pentas P5, yang menampilkan kebudayaan daerah sebagai bentuk implementasi nilai kebhinekaan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa program ini meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap keberagaman serta mendorong mereka untuk lebih menghargai perbedaan budaya dan sosial. Selain itu, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan dalam kerja sama dan komunikasi lintas budaya. Kendala utama dalam pelaksanaan program ini adalah keterbatasan waktu dan fasilitas pendukung. Dengan perencanaan yang lebih matang, diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat diimplementasikan secara lebih luas dan berkelanjutan dalam sistem pendidikan sekolah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of project-based learning on mathematical critical thinking skills in the quadratic function material of class X of St. Paul's Private High School T.A 2024/2025. The type of research used is quantitative descriptive. The research population is all class X and the research sample consists of 64 students of class X. The sampling technique is carried out by random sampling technique. The instruments used are tests in the form of description questions, questionnaires and observation sheets. The results of the study are seen from the indicators of effectiveness that are met, namely the systematics of learning in the good category, the communication of the teacher in the good category, the response of the students in the good category, the activities of the students in the good category, and the achievement of learning in the category is achieved. The results of the study show that project-based learning is effective on students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Identifying the most influential variables in stock price movements is a crucial aspect of developing an accurate mathematical model for predicting market trends. This study analyzes two main variables: the composite stock price index (IHSG) and the closing price of company shares, to determine the extent of their influence on stock prices on the observation day. The findings indicate that the IHSG from one day prior to the observation day does not have a significant impact on the closing price of a particular stock. This means that changes in the IHSG on the previous day cannot be used as the main indicator to predict a company's stock price on the following day. On the other hand, the closing price of a company's stock on the previous day has a strong correlation with the company's closing stock price on the observation day, which is 70%. Besides historical stock price factors, irrational investor behavior can cause volatility that does not fully reflect a stock’s fundamental value. Therefore, it is essential to consider investors' psychological aspects in stock market analysis.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the utilization of behaviorist learning theory to strengthen deep learning instruction through a systematic literature review approach. Deep learning, as a branch of artificial intelligence, demands high-level conceptual understanding and technical skills. Meanwhile, behaviorist theory offers structured learning principles—such as reinforcement, stimulus-response, and repetition—that are relevant for building disciplined and goal-oriented learning processes. A review of scientific literature from 2020 to 2025 indicates that the application of behaviorist principles can enhance student motivation, concept retention, and technical proficiency in mastering deep learning materials. Positive reinforcement and immediate feedback have been shown to effectively reinforce desired learning behaviors, while systematic repetition improves long-term retention and problem-solving abilities. Furthermore, integrating behaviorist principles into digital learning systems increases the effectiveness of adaptive and self-directed learning. Nevertheless, behaviorism should be combined with cognitive and constructivist approaches to achieve more comprehensive learning outcomes. This study recommends the strategic use of behaviorism as a foundational framework in the design of deep learning instruction in higher education settings.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of cognitivist learning theory in enhancing the effectiveness of Deep Learning, both as a pedagogical approach and as a form of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Cognitivism emphasizes the importance of internal mental processes, knowledge structures, and cognitive load management strategies in understanding and retaining information. Meanwhile, Deep Learning in education demands higher-order thinking skills, conceptual understanding, and the ability to connect knowledge across contexts. Using a literature review method, this study analyzes scholarly works published between 2010 and 2025 that discuss the integration of cognitive theory into digital learning design and adaptive AI systems. The findings indicate that strategies such as worked examples, fading, chunking, advance organizers, and metacognition-based active learning effectively improve learners’ comprehension in Deep Learning contexts. Furthermore, the use of AI-powered adaptive technologies developed based on cognitivist principles—such as neural cognitive diagnosis—can enhance learning personalization and instructional effectiveness. This study concludes that the synergy between cognitivist theory and Deep Learning can shape a more meaningful, reflective, and sustainable learning framework.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing deep learning based on humanistic learning theory on the learning abilities of students at Methodist Kuala Private Junior High School. This study uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest-posttest control group design. The research subjects consist of two classes, namely class VIII-1 as the experimental class and class VIII-2 as the control class, each consisting of 32 students. The research instrument consists of a learning ability test administered to both groups before (pretest) and after the intervention (posttest). The data obtained were analyzed using a t-test to examine differences in learning outcomes between groups, as well as N-Gain calculations to determine the level of improvement in learning ability. The results showed that the initial abilities of the two groups were relatively equal. However, after the treatment, the experimental class achieved higher posttest scores (M = 87.5; SD = 7.16) with an N-Gain of 0.71 (high category), compared to the control class (M = 82.3; SD = 7.37) with an N-Gain of 0.59 (moderate category). The t-test results showed a significant difference (p < 0.05) in learning outcomes after the treatment. These findings indicate that humanistic theory-based deep learning is effective in improving students' learning abilities while creating an empathetic and supportive learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa pada materi eksponen kelas X SMA Swasta HKBP Sidorame Medan T.A 2025/2026. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kuantitatif jenis metode quasi experiment. Populasi penelitian yaitu seluruh kelas X, dan sampel penelitian yang terdiri dari 25 siswa kelas X. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes dan observasi. Uji hipotesis pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t berpasangan (Paired Sample t-Test). Hasil penelitian menggunakan uji-t berpasangan didapatkan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,001 < 0,05 maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa "tolak Ho" artinya terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari hasil belajar kemampuan numerasi antara rata-rata pretest dengan posttest kelas eksperimen. Nilai rata-rata N-Gain score adalah 0,7738 yang termasuk kategori tinggi dan nilai rata-rata tingkat keefektifan 77% dengan kategori ≥ 56 % yang termasuk kriteria efektif. Jika ditinjau dari indikator penetapan efektivitas: (1) Kualitas pembelajaran dengan nilai Sig.(2-tailed) 0,001 < 0,05 dan N-Gain sebesar 77%; (2) Kesesuaian tingkat pembelajaran berada pada kategori “ baik sekali” dengan nilai 3,51; dan (3) Waktu pembelajaran berada pada kategori “baik” dengan nilai 4,7. Maka dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah efektif terhadap kemampuan numerasi siswa kelas X SMA Swasta HKBP Sidorame Medan pada materi eksponen.

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM ini adalah untuk peningkatan literasi dan numerasi di kecamatan Barus Jahe, Kabupaten Karo. Mekanisme pelaksanaan kegiatan PkM Universitas HKBP Nommensen Medan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal tanggal 5 Februari sampai dengan awal Maret 2024 di Kecamatan Barus Jahe, Kabupaten Karo. Tim PkM mahasiswa terdiri dari 4 orang dan dibimbing oleh satu orang dosen pembimbing lapangan. Mahasiswa mengelompokkan siswa-siswi menjadi 4 kelompok yang mana setiap kelompok di ajari oleh 1 orang mahasiswa 4-5 orang . Media yang digunakan mahasiswa yaitu buku baca, pulpen, buku cetak, dan media gambar huruf yang disediakan oleh mahasiswa. Jumlahsiswa-siswi ada 20 orang, yang meningkatkan literasi yaitu 14 orang. Mahasiswa berhasil meningkatkan literasi pada siswa-siswi yaitu sebanyak 4 orang sedangkan untuk Numersi 10 orang. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kegiatan PkM ini adalah mampu beradaptasi dengan baik sehingga terjalin hubungan kerjasama antara masyarakat,siswa dengan mahasiswa didesa Barusjulu Dusun Basam. Mahasiswa mengadakan program bantuan berupa bimbingan belajar literasi dan numerasi pada siswa-siswi SD 101905 Pasar Melintang pada pukul 15:00Wib -17:00 WIB Mahasiswa membuat bimbingan belajar pada anak-anak disekitar tempat tinggal mahasiswa di kantor desa didusun Basam juga membantu menyelesaikan tugas sekolah mereka. Mahasiswa membantu pihak desa dalam kegiatan posyandu pada anak - anak dan posyandu lansia didesa Barusjulu, Dusun Basam. Mahasiswa membuat pamflet guna meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dilokasi yang telah ditentukan
