Abstract

One of the public health issues in Bukit Sangkal, Palembang, is the underutilization of local resources such as Family Medicinal Plants (TOGA). The local community lacks awareness about the benefits of TOGA and has yet to optimize its cultivation and use in daily life. This community service program aims to empower residents through education and training on TOGA cultivation, utilization, and management as an alternative solution to support family health. The methods used include participatory counseling, hands-on field training, and ongoing assistance for residents of RT 30. The results show an increase in community knowledge and skills in cultivating and using TOGA. Several households have also begun independently managing TOGA in their home environments. Additionally, this activity produced educational outputs such as a simple TOGA handbook and short tutorial videos for sustainable use. In conclusion, TOGA empowerment in Bukit Sangkal has proven effective in promoting community health based on local potential. Abstract

Outpatient services at community health centers experience a high and dynamic service burden influenced by evolving disease patterns in the community. However, the use of disease pattern data to support outpatient service management remains limited and is often restricted to administrative reporting purposes. This community service activity aimed to enhance the capacity of health workers and managers at Darussalam Community Health Center to utilize disease pattern data as a basis for managing outpatient service burden. A community-based participatory approach was applied through mentoring, training, and hands-on practice in data analysis using routine data from the Integrated Recording and Reporting System of Community Health Centers (SP2TP). The subjects of the activity were health workers and managerial staff at Darussalam Community Health Center. The results demonstrated an improvement in participants’ understanding and ability to analyze disease pattern data, reflected by an increase in average knowledge scores from a moderate to a high category. Behavioral changes were also observed, including increased data-based discussions, the emergence of internal change agents (local leaders), and the development of collective awareness regarding the importance of data-driven outpatient service management. This community service activity contributed to strengthening outpatient service management and fostering a data-driven work culture at Darussalam Community Health Center.

Abstract

The family is the primary educational environment for the formation of children's values and character. Islamic Religious Education teachers hold a strategic position because they play a dual role as formal educators at school and role models of religious and social values within the family. This study aims to analyze the process of internalizing religious and social values in the parenting patterns of Islamic Religious Education teachers' families in Negeri Besar District, Way Kanan. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with 12 purposively selected families of Islamic Religious Education teachers as subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results show that internalization of religious values is carried out through the habit of routine worship, moral education based on the dalil (theoretical principle), and consistent parental role models. Meanwhile, social values are internalized through children's active involvement in community activities, concrete practices of social concern, and reflective dialogue to foster empathy. The dominant parenting style is democratic-authoritative parenting with a foundation of Islamic values, characterized by two-way communication and clear yet flexible rules. This finding confirms that a professional background as an Islamic Religious Education teacher is an important cultural asset in forming structured parenting strategies, even though it still faces contemporary challenges such as the influence of digital technology and parents' limited time.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of social media has positioned Twitter as a critical platform for capturing public opinion during political events, including Indonesia’s 2024 Regional Elections. This study investigates the impact of preprocessing strategies and class balancing on the performance of sentiment analysis models applied to election-related tweets. An initial dataset of 9,096 tweets was collected and refined into 6,202 relevant entries from 2024–2025 through text cleaning, normalization, tokenization, and duplicate removal. Sentiment distribution analysis reveals a dominance of positive sentiment (58.4%), followed by negative (33.6%) and neutral (8.0%) expressions. Two classical machine learning classifiers—Naïve Bayes and Logistic Regression—were implemented using TF–IDF feature representation. To address class imbalance, the Synthetic Minority Oversampling Technique (SMOTE) was applied exclusively to the training data, and hyperparameter optimization was conducted using GridSearchCV. Model evaluation employed an 80/20 train–test split with accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, and confusion matrices as performance metrics. Experimental results indicate that logistic regression combined with SMOTE and hyperparameter tuning achieved the highest accuracy of 93.08%, outperforming Naïve Bayes. The findings confirm that carefully designed preprocessing pipelines and class balancing significantly enhance the reliability of sentiment classification in political social media analysis.

Abstract

Latar belakang : Anak usia sekolah merupakan generasi bangsa yang akan mengambil peran penting di masa depan. Oleh karena itu, pertumbuhan dan perkembangannya masih membutuhkan pangan yang cukup dengan kandungan gizi seimbang. Pangan Jajanan Anak Sekolah (PJAS) dibutuhkan bagi anak yang tidak atau kurang sarapan dan tidak membawa bekal. Kontribusi zat gizi PJAS terhadap pemenuhan kecukupan gizi harian sebaiknya berkisar antara 15-20%. Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis Penerapan Panduan Gizi Seimbang Dan Kantin/Jajanan Sehat Di Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang. Metode : Desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan Pos-ttest Design berupa observasi/pengamatan pada subyek penelitian. Sampel dalam penelitian ini  adalah 38 sekolah dasar di Kecamatan Tembalang Kota Semarang dengan teknik total populasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif. Hasil : Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komitmen tertulis sekolah terhadap penyediaan makanan sehat yang belum menerapkannya yaitu 91.4%, pembentukan tim pengawas pangan jajanan di sekolah 85.7%, sarana dan prasarana di kantin belum memadai dan dipelihara dengan baik 90% penjamah dalam keadaan bersih dan keamanan Pangan dengan standar terendah 30% keamanan pangan. Kesimpulan : Belum sepenuhnya menerapkan standar kantin sehat, seperti kebersihan dapur, penyajian makanan yang tertutup, dan komitmen tertulis untuk menyediakan makanan sehat.

Abstract

Pendidikan Islam tradisional tidak hanya menekankan aspek kognitif dan normatif syariat, tetapi juga memberi ruang yang luas bagi pengelolaan emosi (rasa) sebagai bagian integral dari proses pembentukan adab dan karakter peserta didik. Konsep mununggaling rasa lan syariat merepresentasikan kesatuan antara dimensi batiniah dan lahiriah dalam praktik pendidikan Islam yang berakar pada tradisi tasawuf dan budaya Islam Nusantara. Namun, kajian mengenai peran emosi dalam pendidikan Islam tradisional masih relatif kurang mendapat perhatian dalam diskursus akademik modern. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis konsep dan peran emosi dalam pendidikan Islam tradisional melalui perspektif mununggaling rasa lan syariat, serta menelaah relevansinya terhadap pembentukan karakter dan internalisasi nilai-nilai keislaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dan analisis konseptual terhadap literatur klasik Islam, karya-karya tasawuf, serta kajian pendidikan Islam tradisional. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa emosi dalam pendidikan Islam tradisional berfungsi sebagai medium utama internalisasi syariat, di mana rasa cinta, takut, hormat, dan ikhlas diarahkan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran spiritual dan kepatuhan etis. Integrasi rasa dan syariat terbukti membentuk relasi pedagogis yang humanis dan transformatif antara guru dan murid, sekaligus memperkuat pendidikan adab sebagai fondasi utama pembelajaran. Implikasi penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya mengintegrasikan dimensi emosional dan spiritual dalam praktik pendidikan Islam kontemporer sebagai upaya menyeimbangkan pendekatan kognitif dengan pembentukan karakter dan kesadaran moral peserta didik.

Abstract

Makalah ini mengkaji relasi antara agama dan sains berdasarkan perspektif pemikiran John F. Haught. Agama dipahami sebagai kepercayaan teistik terhadap Tuhan yang bersifat personal sebagaimana berkembang dalam tradisi Yahudi, Kristen, dan Islam, sedangkan sains dipandang sebagai usaha rasional dan empiris manusia untuk memahami gejala serta hukum alam semesta. Dalam perjalanan sejarah, hubungan antara agama dan sains sering kali diwarnai oleh ketegangan dan konflik yang bersumber dari perbedaan pendekatan metodologis, epistemologis, dan ontologis. Namun, dalam perkembangan pemikiran kontemporer, muncul kecenderungan untuk membangun dialog dan integrasi antara keduanya. Melalui pendekatan konseptual dan analitis, makalah ini menjelaskan pengertian agama dan sains serta mengulas empat model relasi agama dan sains menurut John F. Haught, yaitu konflik, kontras, kontak, dan konfirmasi. Keempat model tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara agama dan sains tidak selalu bersifat saling bertentangan, melainkan dapat bersifat dialogis dan saling melengkapi. Pendekatan konfirmasi menegaskan bahwa agama mampu memberikan kerangka makna, nilai, dan motivasi bagi aktivitas ilmiah, sementara temuan-temuan sains dapat memperdalam dan memperkaya pemahaman teologis. Oleh karena itu, integrasi agama dan sains menjadi penting untuk menghindari pemisahan pengetahuan secara dikotomis serta membangun pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif tentang realitas.

Abstract

Contemporary Islamic studies face new dynamics with the development of modern science. The interdisciplinary approach offers an opportunity to enrich the understanding of Islam but also has the potential to create methodological conflicts. This article examines seven interdisciplinary models in Islamic studies—ranging from integration, interconnection, critical dialogue, synthesis, Islamization of knowledge, critical deconstruction, to epistemological conflict models. Using a literature review approach, this paper explores the strengths, weaknesses, and academic implications of each model. The research findings suggest that the interconnection and critical dialogue models are the most adaptive for the development of modern Islamic studies, while the methodological conflict model tends to sharpen paradigm differences without achieving a common ground. This article concludes that the interdisciplinary approach has the potential to serve as a constructive bridge—provided it is conducted with a dialogical, critical, and non-hegemonic attitude.
