Abstract

This article presents a comprehensive analysis of the rendering performance of four popular JavaScript frameworks: React, Vue, Next.js, and Nuxt.js. In an increasingly competitive web development landscape, performance optimization is paramount. By exploring various benchmarks, profiling tools, and real-world use cases, this study delves into how these frameworks handle rendering, component updates, and server-side rendering (SSR). The results offer developers valuable insights into choosing the most suitable framework for their projects, with a focus on delivering optimal user experiences and efficient web applications. The results conducted with WebPageTest, PageSpeedInsight, and GTMetrix show that Vue is the fastest in the average result tested with Webpage Test with 0.9s compared to Nuxt with 2.2s. For PageSpeed Insight, React outperforms other frameworks with 2.8s compared to the highest which is Next with 3.9s. In GTMetrix test, Next turns out to be the fastest framework with 0.8s, while React is the slowest with 1.4s

Abstract

: Gather.Town is an application or video game with 8 bit quality that combines video calls with 2D maps that allow users to interact with other people. The problem faced was the covid pandemic which restricted offline seminars so the idea emerged to conduct webinar research and Gather.Town. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using Gather.Town for Webinars in Batam City Communities. The research model used in this study is the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT 2), by measuring the dependent and independent variables in the Effectiveness of Using Gather.Town on Webinars on Batam City Communities. Based on the results of this research analysis, it can be concluded that the quantitative analysis of Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions and Hedonic Motivation has a significant effect on Behavioral Intention, while Behavioral Intention has a significant effect on Use Behavior. In the qualitative analysis it can be concluded that Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Social Influence, Facilitating Conditions and Hedonic Motivation do not significantly influence the Behavioral Intention variable, while Behavioral Intention significantly influences Use Behavior.

Abstract

Information technology has become very important in the dissemination and reception of information, especially through web-based media, in an era of increasingly advanced and modern technology. Both organizations and individuals need information technology to increase efficiency and effectiveness in various aspects of operations and services provided. Warehouse management has become essential for an effective supply chain in an increasingly competitive business world. Business operations are greatly influenced by warehouse management, which plays a vital role in the storage, management, and distribution of goods. Although web-based warehouse management systems allow real-time monitoring, the main problem is responding to frequently changing requirements. To overcome this problem, this research uses the Extreme Programming (XP) method, an approach that is highly responsive and suitable for constantly changing environments and unstable customer needs. The XP method enables close collaboration between warehouse owners, suppliers and developers, ensuring that the software developed is of high quality. This research found a web-based warehouse management application system that can help companies and MSMEs manage their warehouses better. Management of goods, suppliers, ordering goods, transactions, reports and products and several important features in this system. Blackbox testing methods have ensured that all features function properly, increasing confidence in the use of the system. This study helps us understand how information technology can help improve warehouse management in a dynamic and competitive business context. With the help of information technology and XP methods, warehouse management becomes more responsive, flexible and able to better meet customer requirements. This is an important step towards success in the rapidly evolving business world.

Abstract

This research agrees with the finding data which is improving students’ speaking ability through series picturesin speaking lesson in SMK Swasta Taman Pendidikan on Jalan Radjamin Purba, SH Pasar I-A Perdagangan, Kecamatan Bandar – Kabupaten Simalungun. An action research class is conducted to define the solution of the improving students’ achievement in speaking. Through this research, the researcher shared the result of the students speaking capabilities after using series pictures. The datum shows the comparison between students’ speaking ability using pictures and without using pictures. The design of this research was the experimental quantitative research which is aim to know the effect of the series pictures in the students speaking learning activity. In collecting the data of the research, the researcher had to do three steps as pre-test, treatment and post-test. The result of the tests shows that students’ speaking ability is improved through using pictures series

Abstract

The objectives of the research is to find out the effect of think pair share teaching model to the reading comprehension of grade eleven students of SMK Swasta GKPS 2 Pematang Siantar on a factual report text. This research employed a quantitative method with a quasi experimental design method. The data was collected by using multiple choice. In the experimental class the treatment used was think pair share teaching model, while the control class used question answer technique. The instrument used to collect data was taken from the result of the students’ pre-test and post-test scores which were then calculated. The results of the students’ scores on the post-test showed that the use of think pair share was very effective in reading comprehension on a factual report text of grade eleven students. T-test calculation shows that the t-test value is higher than the t-table value. The null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. And alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the think pair share teaching model is very significant in developing students’ reading comprehension especially on factual report text.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media pembelajaran kertas lipat terhadap hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas II di SD Negeri 173324 Lumbanjulu., Lintongnihuta. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan “Pre-Experimental Design”bentuk one grup pre-test post-test yang dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 173324 Lumbanjulu pada siswa kelas II dengan jumlah populasi 27 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 27 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan test sebanyak 2 kali yaitu pretest-posttest. Data diolah menggunakan teknik analisis statistik, dari hasil analisis data diperoleh taraf sinifikan 0,01 < probabilitas (0,05) dan thitung =10,307 > ttabel =2,0518. Maka disimpulkan Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang berarti “Terdapat pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Picture and Picture Terhadap hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas II Pada Mata Pelajaran Matematika di SD Negeri 173324 Lumbanjulu”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Contextul Teaching and Learning (CTL) Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Tema 1 Subtema 1 Kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 124386 Pematang Siantar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian Kuantitatif. Design penelitian yang akan digunakan yaitu Eksperimen, dengan bentuk Pre-experimental Design yang menggunakan design “one group pretest posttest design” sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 124386 Pematang Siantar yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa test. Data di uji menggunakan analisis berbantuan SPPS Versi 24. Hasil dari pengujian hipotesis penelitian yang terdapat pengaruh signifikan pada penelitian ini dan data yang sudah diujikan dinyatakan dapat dilihat dari analisis data diperoleh hasil rata-rata kelas eksperimen pada pretest (47,76) dan posttest (85,69). Dan hasil hasil thitung sebesar 15,977 dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Contextul Teaching and Learning (CTL) berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada Tema 1 Subtema 1 Kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 124386 Pematang Siantar.

Abstract

The object of this research was to determine the effect of picture and picture media in writing procedure text on ninth grade students at SMP N 1 Tebing Tinggi. This research focuses on the effect of using picture media to help students write procedure text with the theme about how to make a cup of coffe. This research used quantitative research with a quasi-experimental research design. The population of this study was the grade ninth students of SMP N 1 Tebing Tinggi with a total of 297 students. The sample of this study was divided into two classes, namely the experimental class (IX 4) consist of 33 students who used the picture and picture media and the control class (IX 2) consist of 33 students who used the conventional media (textbooks). Data collection instruments used writing tests for pre-test and post-test. H. Douglas Brown’s writing assessment rubric was used this research, which includes several aspects: content, organization, syntax, vocabulary, and mechanics. The alpha formula was used to analyze the data, by conducting descriptive analysis. The result of data analysis using the arikunto formula that the value of 6,63 1,669. Based on these findings, Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that the picture and picture media significantly affects the students writing at SMP N 1 Tebing Tinggi in writing procedure text.

Abstract

One type of technological development that occurs is the development in video games. Video games are one way to fill free time and can be played by many people. Many companies are strategizing promotions to players to make players interested in the video games offered. The intention of this study is to determine the marketing strategies carried out by Steam and Epic Games, measure the level of effectiveness of video games marketing strategies carried out by Steam and Epic Games, and to fulfill obligations as one of the students majoring in system information at Batam International University. Data collection techniques begin with compiling a research background and formulating an operational definition of variables. Then, continued by looking for quantitative data by making a questionnaire based on the operational variables which is distributed to residents of Batam city and looking for qualitative data By interview. This research result proves either with quantitave or qualitative method discount promotion offers can affect video games sales. While, sales value, discount price factor, competitors offering discount, and bundle product offering does not affect video games sales.conclusions.

Abstract

M-Paspor is a new version of the APAPO application launched at the end of 2021. Since the launch of the M-Paspor application, Indonesian citizens have been directed to submit passport queue applications through the M-Paspor. Batam City is a city that is on international shipping routes and borders directly with Singapore and Malaysia. With these advantages, many Indonesian citizens travel through the City of Batam, causing passport applications in the City of Batam to increase. This research aims to analyze the success of the M-Passport application in the City of Batam using the DeLone and McLean model. The method used in this research is a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative, with 30 qualitative data and 500 quantitative data collected. This research utilizes SPSS and AMOS technology to test validity, reliability, SEM, descriptive statistics, and R Square. The results obtained from this research show that all dependent variables have a positive effect on the independent variables with R Square values obtained as much as 61.3%, 58.9%, and 61.9%. By conducting this research, it is hoped that it can help M-Paspor application developers and the TPI Batam Class I Immigration Office to pay more attention to the quality of information, systems, and services from M-Paspor to improve increase public user satisfaction in public services.
