Abstract

The effectiveness and achievement of learning objectives is determined by the teacher. The teacher must design the lesson plans before the learning activities take place. This study aims to develop lesson plans based on the JigSaw type cooperative learning model for quality biodiversity materials based on the level of validity. The research only focuses on testing the validity of learning devices. The final result of this research is to produce a valid lesson plan learning device product. To determine the level of validity of this research tool through the expert validation stages (expert learning tools). This expert test (validation) is carried out by 4 validators who are lecturers and experts in the field of education, there are 8 aspects that are assessed in the lesson plan. The results showed that the level of validity of the lesson plan with the cooperative learning jigsaw model from expert validation was quite valid with an average value of 3.2.

Abstract

Learning biology by learning directly with direct objects makes students’ learning experience more real. This study aimed to create valid and appropriate fungi learning resources based on the results of research on macroscopic fungi diversity in Perintis Lake, Gorontalo province. This research is a qualitative descriptive study, by making student worksheets (LKPD) based on PBL (Problem-Based Learning) based on the results of research on the diversity of macroscopic fungi found in Perintis Lake. The flow of this research is to make learning resources in the form of worksheets based on the results of research on the types of macroscopic fungi in Lake Perintis, then validate the learning resources with 4 (four) validators. Furthermore, data validation results from 4 (four) validators are calculated by analysis of the Content Validity Ratio (CVR) and CVI (Content Validity Index). The results of this study based on data analysis and calculation of the validation results from the four validators on learning resources in the form of LKPD which have been carried out show that each criterion obtains a CVR value of 1.00 with a valid statement, while the average value of each criterion is obtained through CVI calculations show that LKPD with validation results is valid with a CVI value of 1.00. The conclusion of this study is that biology learning resources in the form of student worksheets (LKPD) based on observations of macroscopic fungi found in the Perintis lake of Gorontalo Province are declared valid with a CVI value of 1.00 and is suitable for use as a source of learning biology on fungi class X SMA.

Abstract

Lake Perintis is a strategic lake as a tourist spot that has unspoiled environmental conditions that have the potential to find various types of macroscopic fungi, especially Basidiomycota fungi. Macroscopic fungi are a group of cellulose degrading fungi which have a very important role for the environment. This study used a quantitative descriptive method with field sampling using an exploratory survey method. This method aims to make direct observations in all research locations in order to obtain more in-depth data. This study aims to determine the diversity of types of Basidiomycota fungi found in Lake Perintis. By using the field note form to identify the fungi in the Perintis lake location. The results showed that Lake Perintis has a type of Basidiomycota fungi consisting of 2 class, 5 ordo, 10 family, 18 genus and 21 species.

Abstract

The study aims at identifying the properties and number of macroscopic fungi species from the Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes divisions within the Mas Popaya Raja Natural Reserve Island of Dunu Village, Monano Sub-district of Gorontalo Utara. Information on the results of this research can be used as fungi inventory data for the Agency for the Conservation of Natural Resources Conservation Section II of Gorontalo. This research employs an explorative survey method to directly observe the existence of macroscopic fungi within the natural reserve. The study is implemented in sequence, initial observation within the natural reserve to determine the sampling points, followed by identification of those macroscopic fungi based on the morphology of those fungi. Qualitative descriptive method is used to analyze the data by describing the properties of those macroscopic fungi in their habitats. This study has shed light on ten types of macroscopic fungi available in this natural reserve namely: Aleuria aurantia, Xylaria papyrifera, Microporus xanthopus, Lentinus sajor-caju, Ganoderma lucidium, Ganoderma applanatum, Rigidoporus sp, Maramius androcaseus, Lichenomphalia umbellifera, Scleroderma sinnamariense. The fungi found were dominated by the Basidiomycota division of the Agariomycetes class.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the benefits of the campus environment as a source of learning biology. So many learning difficulties experienced by students on campus. Utilization of various learning resources such as the campus environment is an effort to solve the problem of student learning difficulties. By learning directly in the natural environment, the learning experience experienced by students is more meaningful. Through direct learning in nature or the surrounding environment as a source of learning, it is able to make learning experiences concrete so that learning becomes optimal. The campus environment can be used as a learning resource for several relevant subjects. This research is a descriptive research from a literature study emphasizing the potential process analysis method of the environment around campus 4 of State University of Gorontalo as a source of learning biology. Campus 4 environment of Gorontalo State University, Bone Bolango Regency can be used as a learning resource in several subjects such as plant diversity, low-level and high-level plants, mycology, entomology and so on. This is due to the condition of the campus 4 environment of Gorontalo State University which is still beautiful and cool and has many tall and large trees, low-level plants that are still maintained, has many species of fungi and insects and so on.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the impact of the use of interactive learning media Articulate Storyline 3 on the learning results of students on the material of plant network systems in High School 1 Kabila. This type of research uses the form of true experimental design as a pretest-posttest control group design. The instrument used is a question of double choice to measure learning outcomes, implementation sheets and leaflets of students' activities as well as responses to the use of media articulate storyline 3. The study results were analyzed using an independent sample t-test based on the N-Gain acquisition. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the student’s learning outcomes seen from the N-gain result obtained on average for the experimental class of 0.78 and the control class is 0.50. The performance of the expression class has an average of good categories with the largest number with the highest score of 89%, and the activity of the students in the exhibition class acquires a very active category with the greatest number of nials of 88%. Based on the results of the test of the hypothesis in the experimental class and control class obtained a Sign (2 tailed) value of 0.001 with a signification level (α) 0.05, so that the Sign value (2 tailing) is smaller than the signation level (a) 0.05, thus it can be concluded that there is an influence of the use of Articulate Storyline 3 media on the study results of participants on the structure and function of tissue materials in plants.
