Abstract

The study aims to improve basketball dribbling skills through differentiated learning for grade VIII students at a public middle school. This research is classroom action research. We conducted this research in two cycles, each involving planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 28 grade VIII students of public Middle School 3 Bontomarannu. The study collected data through tests and observations. We conducted the data analysis using qualitative descriptive techniques, specifically percentage techniques. The study's findings revealed that in Cycle I, out of 28 students, the learning achievement for front basketball dribbling in grade VIII at public Middle School 3 Bontomarannu were as follows: 43%, or 12 students, met the completion criteria, while 57%, or 16 students, fell short. In Cycle II, the number of students who met the completion criteria increased to 82%, or 22 students, while only 18%, or 6 students, met the incomplete criteria. The data analysis results above suggest that differentiated learning can enhance the basketball dribbling learning achievement for grade VIII students at public Middle School 3 Bontomarannu.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of 30-meter running ability on the basketball dribbling ability of students of the Sports Coaching Education Study Program, UPRI Makassar. The research method uses a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The research sample consisted of 22 PKO UPRI Makassar students. We collected data using a 30-meter running speed test and a basketball dribbling ability test. Data analysis used a linearity test and regression test. The results showed an R-squared value of 0.014, meaning that 30-meter running speed for basketball dribbling ability was not significant. We conclude that the basketball dribbling ability of PKO UPRI Makassar students remains unaffected by a significant value of 0.605, which is greater than 0.05. The conclusion is that there is no significant effect between 30-meter running ability and basketball dribbling ability among PKO UPRI Makassar students. This finding is contrary to several previous studies that stated a close relationship between running speed and basketball dribbling skills.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of digital mediation in resolving civil disputes within Indonesia’s judiciary system, particularly in the era of rapid technological advancement. The growing backlog of cases and the high costs of litigation have emphasized the need for more efficient and accessible dispute resolution methods. Digital mediation emerges as a promising alternative, leveraging technology to bridge geographical barriers and reduce procedural delays. The study aims to analyze the factors influencing the success of digital mediation and identify challenges that hinder its implementation. Using a qualitative approach, this research collected primary data through in-depth interviews with mediators, disputing parties, and judicial policymakers. Secondary data were gathered from official court reports and relevant literature. The analysis involved thematic coding and interpretation of data to uncover patterns and insights. Case studies from urban, semi-urban, and rural courts provided a comprehensive understanding of the varying success rates of digital mediation. The findings reveal that mediator training in technology significantly enhances the success rate of digital mediation, particularly in urban areas with better digital infrastructure. However, rural areas face challenges such as limited internet access and low digital literacy, which impede the effectiveness of the mediation process. The study also highlights the importance of integrating judicial systems with digital mediation platforms and revising regulatory frameworks to ensure consistent implementation. This research contributes to the theoretical understanding of digital mediation and offers practical implications for policymakers. It underscores the need for targeted training programs for mediators and investments in digital infrastructure to promote equitable access. The findings provide a roadmap for improving digital mediation practices and suggest further exploration of user experiences and longitudinal impacts. By addressing existing challenges, digital mediation can become a cornerstone of Indonesia’s civil dispute resolution in the digital age.

Abstract

Background: Laryngeal carcinoma is a malignancy arising from squamous cells of the epithelial lining of the larynx. It is one of the more common head and neck cancers, with an incidence of approximately 3.2 cases per 100,000 individuals annually worldwide. Risk factors include smoking, alcohol consumption, gastroesophageal reflux disease, exposure to chemical inhalants, and viral infections, particularly Human Papillomavirus (HPV). Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the demographic characteristics, histopathological features, and risk factors associated with laryngeal carcinoma among patients at Mardi Waluyo Hospital. Methods: This descriptive study utilized data from medical records and histopathological examinations of patients between 2018 and 2023, analyzed in January 2024 at Mardi Waluyo Hospital. Results: Among 39 patients, 34 were male (87%), and 5 were female (13%). Patients aged ≤60 years accounted for 36%, while those >60 years constituted 64%. Histopathological examination revealed squamous cell carcinoma in 34 cases (87%) and other pathologies in 5 cases (13%). Smoking history was significant: 75% had smoked for more than 10 years, while 25% smoked for less than 10 years or were non-smokers. Conclusion: Over the past five years, an average of 8 cases per year of laryngeal carcinoma were reported. Smoking was identified as the most significant risk factor. Squamous cell carcinoma was the predominant histopathological finding in patients at Mardi Waluyo Hospital.

Abstract

With the existence of a new legal regime known as cyber law or telematics law, the transaction system makes it easier for users. Cyber law or cyber law is used by utilizing information and communication technology which is a manifestation of the convergence of telecommunications law, media law and information law. The legal problems that are often faced are related to information, communication and/or transactions, especially in terms of evidence related to legal actions carried out by electronic systems. This writing aims to provide legal protection for consumers with online transactions. The research method used is normative juridical research, which involves analysis of theories, concepts, legal principles and statutory regulations relevant to this research topic. The legal problems that are often faced are related to the delivery of information, communi cation and/or transactions electronically, especially in terms of evidence and matters related to legal actions carried out through electronic systems. The results of this research can be concluded: First, in the form of legal protection for consumers who make online transactions as regulated in Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions as well as provisions for legal protection for consumer users with online transactions or e-commerce. Second, in the form of responsibility for parties involved in online transactions or e-commerce as stated in Law Number Article 12 paragraph 3 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions, it is explained that every person who violates the obligation to carry out electronic transactions must be responsible for all losses and the resulting legal consequences.

Abstract

Menurut Undang Undang dan peraturan perundang undangan tugas dosen ada 3 (tiga) dan tercantum didalam Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, yakni mentransformasikan dan meyebarluaskannilmu pengetahuan, teknologi dan seni melalui tugas pendidikan, penelitian dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Negara dalam hal ini adalah kementerian riset, Teknologi dan Pendidikan Tinggi senantiasa memiliki program untuk memberikan dana hibah bagi para peneliti/dosen yang merupakan suatu bentuk pelaksanaan penelitian dan pengabdian yang dilakukan baik didalam kampus maupun diluar kampus yang bermanfaat bagi Masyarakat Indonesia. Salah satunya adalah dana hibah pengabdian yang diterima oleh kami yang mengajukannya melalui Lembaga penelitian dan pengabdian Masyarakat (LP3M) di lingkungan kampu Universitas islam batik, yang selanjutnya pengabdian dengan judul “peran perseroan perseorangan dalam UMKm demi mewujudkan perekonomian yang Sejahtera”. Pengabdian ini ada dalam skim hibah Pemberdayaan Kemitraan masyarakat tahun 2023 dengan bermitra Bersama UMKM batik Oz Laweyan . Peneliti melakukan pengabdian Bersama umkm adalah dengan berdasar pada judul yakni bagaimana sebuah badan usaha, Metode penelitian dengan observasi, pemetaan masalah dan lokasi (mitra), identifkasi masalah, analisis data, sosialisasi aturan dan pendampingan. Tujuan pelaksanaan pengabdian dalam bentuk sosialisasi adalah sharing ilmu dan pengetahuan bagi umk tentang adanya PT Perorangan (perseroan perseorangan) yang nantinya dapat membantu membesarkan hasil dari pendapatan para UMK dengan kemudahan pembiayaan.

Abstract

Abstrak Berdasarkan supervisi kelas yang dilakukan kepala sekolah terhadap guru IPA di SDN Palam 1 Banjarbaru diketahui bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam menyusun rencana perangkat pembelajaran sebelum ada pembinaan dan setelah dilaksanakan pembinaan yaitu pada penyusunan rencana perangkat pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan sekolah (PTS) yang mengadopsi dari penelitian tindakan kelas, sehingga dalam pelaksanaannya melaui tahapan berupa siklus sama halnya dengan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan melalui tahapan- tahapan meliputi refleksi awal, perencanaan, pelaksanaaan tindakan, observasi dan evaluasi tindakan, dan refleksi akhir. Penelitian direncanakan dalam 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri atas 1 kali pertemuan setara dengan 2 jam pelajaran (2x35 menit).Siklus 1 dan siklus 2 mempelajari tentang Melakukan supervisi pembelajaran dan menyiapkan perangkat pembelajaran. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 1 orang yaitu Ria Darmawantika,A Ma selaku guru IPA Kelas V di SDN Palam 1 Banjarbaru. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan tentang meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam pembelajaran IPA Setelah melalui perbaikan RPP yang dinilai oleh suvervisor pada siklus 2 guru mengalami peningkatan dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru merasa puas setelah selesai melaksanakan pembelajaran, dia merasa lebih siap daripada pertemuan yang pertama setelah di observasi kepala sekolah dan kepala sekolah membantu memecahkan masalah yang dihadapi guru Guru sudah melaksanakan inovasi pembelajaran dengan banyak melibatkan siswa dalam pembelajaran. Kata kunci : Supervisi Akademik, Rencana Perangkat pemberajaran (RPP), Inovasi Pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Esophageal atresia (EA) with tracheoesophageal fistula (TEF) is a rare congenital anomaly characterized by an incomplete esophagus and an abnormal connection between the trachea and esophagus. This condition occurs in approximately 1 in 3000 to 5000 live births and requires prompt diagnosis and surgical intervention to prevent life-threatening complications. The most common type of EA with TEF involves a proximal esophageal atresia and a distal TEF (Type C). Early diagnosis is crucial to prevent complications such as aspiration pneumonia. Surgical repair is the definitive treatment for EA with TEF, and the surgical approach involves thoracotomy, fistula ligation, and end-to-end esophageal anastomosis. This report describes the case of a 7-day-old male infant who presented with respiratory distress, excessive oral secretions, and an inability to pass a nasogastric tube. Radiographic imaging confirmed the diagnosis of EA with TEF Type C. The infant underwent successful surgical repair, including thoracotomy, fistula ligation, and end-to-end esophageal anastomosis. The postoperative course was complicated by minor wound dehiscence, which healed with secondary intention. The infant was discharged on the 10th postoperative day with no further complications. In conclusion, This case highlights the importance of a multidisciplinary approach involving neonatologists, pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses in the successful management of EA with TEF. Early diagnosis, prompt surgical intervention, and comprehensive postoperative care are essential for achieving favorable outcomes in infants with this condition. With appropriate management, most infants with EA with TEF can achieve normal growth and development.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to provide an in-depth explanation of the cultural values contained within the Bedhah Bumi heirloom retrieval tradition in Gunungkidul. This research also aims to contribute to the body of knowledge on culture, in order to ensure that Javanese culture—particularly traditions specific to certain areas—continues to be preserved. This study employs a qualitative research method. The research subject consists of the sole family that has inherited the leadership of the Bedhah Bumi heirloom retrieval tradition. The object of the research is the Bedhah Bumi heirloom retrieval tradition located in Kalurahan Gari, Kapanewon Wonosari, Gunungkidul Regency. Data were collected through observation and interviews. The collected data were then analyzed using a descriptive method. The validity of the data was ensured through theoretical validity, and its reliability was assessed through stability reliability. The results of this study reveal the cultural values embedded in the Bedhah Bumi heirloom retrieval tradition. The cultural values identified in this research include: the value of the relationship between humans and God, the value of the relationship between humans and nature, the value of the relationship between humans and society, the value of interpersonal relationships, and the value of the relationship between humans and themselves.

Abstract

Environmental concerns have become increasingly prominent, as numerous phenomena underscore the critical relationship between human sustainability and environmental preservation. This awareness has extended into the business sector, where consumers now expect companies to implement environmentally responsible strategies, especially amid growing health and ecological concerns. This study investigates the impact of transforming Green Supply Chain Management (GSCM) practices on the environmental performance of culinary and fashion MSMEs in Semarang City. Using purposive sampling, data were collected from 100 respondents representing local MSMEs. The research employed two analytical approaches within the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) framework: Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Regression Weight Analysis. The findings reveal that the implementation of GSCM positively influences environmental performance and contributes to the long-term sustainability of MSME operations. This study offers practical implications for local MSMEs to integrate green practices into their supply chains while enhancing business continuity. Furthermore, the results provide valuable insights for local government authorities to develop supportive policies and programs that encourage sustainable business practices. Overall, this research highlights the strategic importance of GSCM as a tool for improving environmental performance and maintaining competitiveness in a globalized economy.
