Abstract

This research aims to improve understanding of mathematical concepts for class V students at SDN 105331 Punden Rejo. The research uses the (R&D) method with the ADDIE model to produce a product. The ADDIE model consists of 5 analysis stages, namely, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The research results from the implementation of ethnomathematics-based Canva media development have a validity percentage of 96% based on the assessment of material experts and 80% according to the assessment of media experts so that the development media is classified as very valid and its validity has been tested. The ethnomathematics-based Canva media that has been developed has a test score of 94.25% so that the development media is classified as very practical to apply in the learning process. The Canva media product based on Javanese cultural ethnomathematics which was developed using the RME model was considered effective in increasing students' understanding of mathematical concepts in class V at SDN 105331 Punden Rejo with a percentage of 85%.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Canva-assisted digital teaching materials using the Discovery Learning model for Civic Education (PKn) on the topic "Cooperation in My Environment" to improve fourth-grade students’ learning motivation at UPT SDN 064034 Medan. This research applied the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, involving analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The developed product was validated by experts, yielding very high results: 81.05% (material), 89.52% (teaching material), 100% (module), and 83.52% (teacher), with an overall validity of 88.52%, categorized as “very valid.” The materials were considered practical and effectively implemented during learning. Effectiveness was measured through student responses and learning motivation improvement, both showing highly positive results. Overall, the Canva-assisted digital teaching materials meet the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective, and significantly enhance students’ motivation in Civic Education lessons.

Abstract

Artikel ini mendeskripsikan hasil observasi pembelajaran mengenai penerapan metode eksplorasi lingkungan dalam mengajarkan konsep luas tak baku di sekolah dasar. Pembelajaran geometri masih sering disampaikan secara abstrak sehingga menimbulkan kesenjangan antara pemahaman prosedural dan konseptual. Studi terkini menegaskan pentingnya penggunaan media konkret, integrasi etnomatematika, dan pendekatan outdoor learning dalam memperkuat pemahaman konsep luas. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas, siswa terlibat aktif dalam mengukur dan membandingkan luas benda di sekitar menggunakan satuan tidak baku. Pengalaman belajar yang konkret dan kontekstual membantu siswa memahami konsep luas sesuai tahap perkembangan kognitifnya. Dengan demikian, metode eksplorasi lingkungan dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran geometri pada kelas rendah sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi pecahan setara untuk siswa kelas empat SD dan menentukan kelayakannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE, yang meliputi tahapan Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari seorang ahli materi, seorang ahli media, seorang guru kelas empat, dan 20 siswa kelas empat SD Negeri 104283 Jaharun B. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar observasi, kuesioner validasi ahli, dan kuesioner tanggapan guru dan siswa. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif dengan skala Likert untuk menentukan kelayakan produk. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media yang dikembangkan dikategorikan sangat layak, dengan skor validasi ahli materi sebesar 90% dan skor validasi ahli media sebesar 88%. Tanggapan siswa mencapai 91% (sangat valid), sedangkan tanggapan guru sebesar 82,1% (sangat valid). Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa media PowerPoint interaktif meningkatkan minat, motivasi, dan pemahaman siswa tentang pecahan setara melalui presentasi visual, animasi, dan fitur interaktif yang sesuai dengan perkembangan kognitif siswa SD. Oleh karena itu, media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ini cocok sebagai alternatif inovatif untuk pengajaran matematika tingkat dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a Pop-Up Book Digital learning media on weather material in grade III of SD Negeri 105375 Sukasari to increase students' interest in learning. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model consisting of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The research subjects were 20 grade III elementary school students and one class teacher. Data were obtained through validation questionnaires from material experts, media experts, teacher and student response questionnaires, and student learning interest questionnaires before and after using the media. The validation results show that the Pop-Up Book Digital media is included in the "Very Feasible" category with an average validity score of 67.05%. From the practical aspect, the results of the teacher and student questionnaires obtained an average score of 4.67 (Very Good), indicating that the media is easy to use and interesting. From the effectiveness aspect, the results of the N-Gain analysis showed an increase in learning interest by 36% with the "Moderate" category. This media has been proven to increase student engagement, attention, and motivation through three-dimensional visualizations, animations, and engaging narratives. Therefore, digital pop-up books are suitable as an alternative interactive and innovative learning medium for abstract topics such as weather, while also supporting the implementation of technology-based active learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline 3 in the Science subject of My Indonesia is Rich in Culture for grade IV elementary school with the ADDIE development model consisting of 4 stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, and Implementation. It can be concluded that the results of the validation of material experts obtained a percentage of 77% with good criteria and were stated to be usable without revision. The results of the validation of media experts obtained a percentage of 83% with very good criteria and could be used without revision. The results of teacher responses to the developed media obtained a percentage of 94% with very practical criteria and could be used without revision. The results of student responses based on a questionnaire on learning interest using the Articulate Storyline 3 learning media in the Science subject of My Indonesia is Rich in Culture given to all 17 students obtained a percentage of 94% with very strong interest criteria. The interactive learning media based on Articulate Storyline 3 developed in the Science subject of My Indonesia is Rich in Culture is ready to be implemented as a learning media in schools. This is because the developed media has been declared very good or very feasible.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan utuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman guru dalam membangun literasi sains dan literasi sosial melalui pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) di kelas V SDN 2 Kutapanjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas V. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru membangun literasi sains dan sosial melalui pembelajaran kontekstual, diskusi kelompok, dan kegiatan eksperimen sederhana yang dikaitkan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari siswa. Guru juga menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti keterbatasan sarana pembelajaran dan perbedaan kemampuan siswa. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa peran guru sangat penting dalam mengembangkan literasi sains dan sosial melalui pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar. Abstract

This research aims to improve basic locomotor movement skills in grade 5 elementary school students through active learning interventions based on traditional games. In this research, researchers used a quasi-experimental research design with stratified random sampling. Two groups of students were selected, where one group was given active learning intervention, while the other group was a control group that received conventional learning. The research instruments used included basic movement skills tests, student response questionnaires, participant observation, and field notes. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistical methods and the T test to compare the differences between the two groups before and after the learning intervention. The statistical calculation method used was the T test, which was used to compare the differences between the experimental group and the control group in terms of improvement in basic locomotor movement skills after the intervention. By using the T test, researchers can evaluate whether there are significant differences between the two groups and whether traditional game-based active learning interventions are effective in improving the basic movement skills of grade 5 elementary school students. The research results show that traditional game-based active learning interventions have a significant positive impact in improving basic locomotor movement skills in grade 5 students. This shows the important potential of interactive and fun learning methods in improving the quality of learning and the development of students' motor skills. In conclusion, active learning interventions based on traditional games can be effective in improving basic locomotor movement skills in grade 5 elementary school students. This research provides important implications for the development of a more inclusive and student-centered curriculum at the elementary school level.
