Abstract

There are different ways of obtaining and accessing information in a multimedia database thaninformation in a traditional database. For example, in a multimedia database, it might be reasonable to have aquery that asks for, say, the top 10 images that are similar to a fixed image. Beside a multimedia database mightdeal with pictures that have a complicated coloring pattern and that contain a number of shapes. Thesedifferences lead to fundamental differences between multimedia queries and standard relational databasequeries. Unlike the situation in relational databases, where the semantics of a Boolean combination is quiteclear, in multimedia databases it is not at all clear what the semantics is of even the conjunction of atomicqueries. Because of that our experiments on this research show that there are some algorithm support to accessmultimedia database, but two of them what we concern are fagin algorithm and threshold algorithm. For thisresearch there are 2 sides of fruit Citra what we have to concern. There are shape and color of fruit image. Abstract

Harga jual susu yang rendah pada industri pengolahan susu merupakan indikasi lemahnya bargainingpower peternak sebagai pemasok. Peristiwa ini terjadi karena adanya monopsoni di pasar. Untukmengantisipasi hal tersebut dilakukan diversifikasi produk susu segar ke susu pasteurisasi.Pada penelitian ini, sistem kontrol kualitas dioperasikan dalam dua bagian yaitu dimensi kualitas produkseperti performansi, feature, keandalan, konformasi, durability, kemampuan pelayanan, estetika, kualitas yangdirasakan yang dipentingkan oleh konsumen dan menentukan suhu pasteurisasi. Sistem dimplementasikandengan Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) dan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST).Kaidah IF-THEN rule untuk semua dimensi kualitas produk memberikan hasil 390.625 kombinasi. Dalammakalah ini, membahas tiga dimensi kualitas yaitu performansi, feature dan keandalan yang memberikan hasil125 kombinasi IF THEN-rule. Suhu pasteurisasi diidentifikasi dengan jaringan syaraf tiruan, yang diestimasidengan Root Mean Square Error (RSME) dan memberikan hasil 0.0066. Data prediksi suhu pasteurisasidiidentifikasi sebagai bentuk data variabel sehingga dalam melakukan pengolahan data dengan bagan kendalimaka bagan kendali yang dipilih adalah bagan kendali X. Dua kriteria tersebut memberikan kontribusi dalammenentukan perencanaan kualitas susu pasteurisasiKeywords: Pasteurisasi, Fuzzy Inference System, Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan, Root Mean Square Error.

Abstract

Mangrove protection forest has functions and benefits, in economic, ecological, and social. Its management requires planning to ensure the sustainability ofits functions and benefits. This study aimed to observe the sustainability level ofthe mangrove protection forest management planning in Batu Ampar and to determine the factors that affect the sustainability management of mangrove protection forest. Data was analyzed by using RAP-MPforest with multidimensional scaling method. The results showed that sustainability status was sustainable enough on the ecological criteria (54.59%); less sustainable on the economic criteria (34.06%) as well as social criteria (42.03). The factors that affected on the sustainability status ofmangrove protection forests namely: (1) establishment offorest area boundaries; (2) suitability of area allotment; (3) availability of mangrove seedlings; (4) protection offlora and fauna; (5) government revenue from management and utilization; (6) income level ofcommunity; (7) effective resolution mechanisms ofland conflicts; and (8) local cultural practices in preservation; (9) availability ofcommunity organizations and (10) community involvement in the management ofthe forest. Management planning that does not consider these factors in a balance manner would not guarantee the sustainability of management of mangrove protection forest in Batu Ampar.

Abstract

The Jatiluhur Reservoir is the largest and multipurpose. Indonesia, currently faced with problems regarding the quality and quantity of water resource especially pollution problems. Inthis research has been conducted an analysis of the status of water quality and analysis of their impact on the threat to vital business process, especially with regard to management of water resources. The location research carried out at PerumJasaTirta II as the authority of Jatiluhur Reservoir. The data used in this research is primary data from the obtained field research activities throughthe sampling conducted at Jatiluhur reservoir water and the waters of river basin (DAS) after the Jatiluhur Reservoir outlet with reference to size the parameters of water quality using laboratory quality standard. The Analytical tools used are the method Business Impact Analysis and Storet. Chemical parameters above the quality standard limits are: dissolved oxygen, ferro (Fe), manganese (Mn), zinc (Zn), nitrite (NO2-N), nitrate (NO3-N), sulphate (SO4), chloride (Cl), sulfide(H2S), BOD5, and COD.Condition of water quality can be said to have been classified as heavily polluted (categoryD) byanthropogenic activities that are in the upper reaches of the riverCitarum and around JatiluhurReservoir waters. These conditions can threat and negatively impact vital business of the infrastructure, reservoirs, the availability of drinking water and irrigation water and other water biota.

Abstract

This research attempts to analyze the value chain of Islamic banking business processes and to develop a business processes model on depositors’ funds in order to improve the performance of Islamic banks. Four models of Islamic banking operating in Indonesia are used as the objects of the study. This research applies qualitative study (exploratory) approach and utilizes primary data obtained from questionnaire and interviews. This data are then processed by value stream mapping and process activity mapping. This study shows that the waiting time for services is the sub-stage of business process that does not have value added and categorized as pure waste based on VSM criteria.The reengineering of business process of the third party fundraising may reduce collection time up to 1490 minutes for corporate customer and 22 minutes for individual customer.DOI: 10.15408/aiq.v8i1.2506

Abstract

One of problem faced in supply chain management is path searching. The best path depend not only on distance, but also other variables, such as: the quality of involved companies, quality of delivered product, and other value resulted by quality measurement. Commonly, the ant colony optimization could search the best path that has only one objective path. But it would be difficult to be adopted, because in the real case, the supply path has multi path and objectives (especially in palm oil based bioenergy supply). The objective of this paper is to improve the ant colony optimization for solving multi objectives based supply path problem by using fuzzy ant colony optimization. The developed multi objectives fuzzy ant colony optimization design was explained here, that it was used to search the best supply path. Salah satu masalah yang dihadapi dalam Supply Chain Management adalah pencarian jalur. Jalur terbaik tidak hanya tergantung pada jarak, tetapi juga variabel lain, seperti: kualitas perusahaan yang terlibat, kualitas produk yang dikirimkan, dan nilai lain yang dipengaruhi oleh pengukuran kualitas. Umumnya, Ant Colony Optimization bisa mencari jalur terbaik yang hanya memiliki satu jalur objektif. Tapi akan sulit untuk diadopsi, karena dalam kasus nyata, jalur supply memiliki banyak jalur dan tujuan (khususnya pasokan minyak kelapa sawit berbasis bioenergi). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan Ant Colony Optimization dalam menyelesaikan masalah jalur supply dengan menggunakan Fuzzy Ant Colony Optimization. Tujuan pengembangan Fuzzy Ant Colony Optimization dijelaskan disini, yaitu digunakan untuk mencari jalur supply terbaik.

Abstract

This research was aimed at designing strategies for improving total quality management at CV XYZ and PT HIJ. The research locations were selected intentionally with the consideration that the company is a middle class company that started to apply a study in line with the research topic. The experts were chosen using an approach method. This research used a descriptive approach and quantitative analysis through questionnaires using purposive sampling. The stages began with data processing, i.e. testing the questionnaire quality through validity and reliability tests, making a causality diagram, evaluating the implementation levels of each company by giving evaluation scales based on the existing condition, making House of Quality (HOQ) using QFD methods, and then analyzing the problem solutions produced from the QFD methods with 5W + IH analysis, and finally determining the improvement priorities using Fuzzy AHP methods. The results were the strategies for improving total quality management /TQM of CV XYZ, namely the factor that plays the most important role was improving the quality management performance. The actor that has the competence to carry out the TQM improvement is the director. The prioritized goal to be achieved is a commitment to improve the quality of goods and services.  The prioritized strategy used in improving TQM is carrying out SOP consistently.Keywords: strategies, improvement, TQM, manufacturing company, fuzzy AHPABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan merancang strategi peningkatan manajemen mutu terpadu pada CV XYZ dan PT HIJ. Pemilihan lokasi penelitian dilakukan secara sengaja dengan pertimbangan bahwa perusahaan tersebut merupakan perusahaan kelas menengah yang mulai menerapkan kajian sesuai dengan topik penelitian. Penentuan pakar dilakukan dengan metode pendekatan secara sengaja. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan analisa kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara sengaja (purposive sampling), dengan tahapan pengolahan data yaitu menguji mutu kuesioner melalui uji validitas dan reliabilitas, kemudian menyusun diagram sebab-akibat, menilai tingkat implementasi dari masing-masing perusahaan dengan memberikan skala penilaian berdasarkan kondisi yang ada, menyusun House of Quality (HOQ) dengan menggunakan metode QFD, kemudian analisa penyelesian masalah yang dihasilkan dari penyusunan QFD menggunakan analisa 5W + 1H dan setelah itu menentukan prioritas perbaikan dengan menggunakan metode Fuzzy AHP. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu strategi peningkatan manajemen mutu terpadu/TQM di perusahaan CV XYZ dirumuskan sebagai berikut. Faktor yang paling berperan adalah peningkatan kinerja manajemen mutu. Kemudian aktor yang memiliki kompentensi dalam menjalankan peran peningkatan TQM adalah direktur. Kemudian tujuan yang priortitas harus dicapai adalah komitmen meningkatkan kualitas barang & jasa. Kemudian untuk strategi prioritas yang digunakan dalam peningkatan TQM adalah melaksanakan SOP dengan konsisten.Kata kunci: strategi, peningkatan, TQM, perusahaan manufaktur, fuzzy AHP

Abstract

The aims of the research are to: identify the supply chain of broiler in Sierad Produce Co; calculate the value added of activities occurring in some supply chain stakeholders; measure the supply chain working performance of broiler in Sierad Produce Co; and formulate strategies recommended to increase the supply chain working performance of broiler in Sierad Produce Co. This research used data analysis methods: Asian Productivity Organization (APO) for analyzing the general situation of supply chain; Hayami mathematical model for processing the data regarding the value added analysis of supply chain stakeholders; SCOR Model for metrical plan of supply chain working performance measure; Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method for determining the metrical weights of supply chain working performance measure; and Analytic Network Process (ANP) for determining the priority of strategic alternatives to increase the supply chain working performance of broiler in Sierad Produce Co. The results of value added analysis have shown that the food processing industries (downstream sector) enjoy the highest value added. Accordingly, the researcher summarized a number of points as follows: Firstly, the highest capital return in the poultry industry is caused by technological factors. Secondly, the supply chain working performance measure result shows that low working performance of commercial farm is caused by non-adaptable company in fulfilling the demand of Chicken Slaughter House. The last, the working performance increase strategic formulation result has shown that increase of Human Resources’ skill or ability is the most influential strategical alternative to supply chain working performance increase in Sierad Produce Co.Keywords: AHP, ANP, poultry industries, supply chain management, SCOR

Abstract

Total  economic  value  is  considered  as  a  useful  tool  for  analyzing objectively the change of economic level in    certain area as a consequence of  changing  on  the  different  policies  of  regional  development  based  on regional  spatial  plan.  Results  calculation  on  the  application  of  total economic  value  approach  in  Kalimantan  region,  shows  that  the  total economic  values  calculated  based  on  conservation  scenario   (Scenario  A) and  do  nothing  scenario  (Scenario  B) are about 2.065,22 trillion Rupiah, and  1.695,83 trillion  Rupiah,  respectively.  The  Benefit  Cost  Ratio (BCR) for scenario A (9,91) is higher than BCR for scenario B (3,44). This calculation gave an  indication  that  comply  with the previous  premise  that regional  development  in  Kalimantan  region  should  be  based  on  regional spatial  plan  for  Kalimantan  region.  Therefore,  it  is  recommended  that development  control  to  make sure  that  developments  comply  with  the regional spati al plan should be applied wisely and consistently.Keywords: Kalimantan spatial plan, total economic values, benefit-cost ratio

Abstract

Indonesia is the second largest natural rubber producer in the world with 28% of the total world production in 2010. In line with the growth of the world’s automotive industry, the needs of natural rubber as a complementary synthetic rubber products will also increase. The main objective of this research was to find the best alternative strategy to increase the productivity of the natural rubber plantations through the green productivity (GP) approach. The case study was conducted at PT. XYZ, a private company which runs the plantation and processing of natural rubber businesses. The material flow analysis was performed to identify the seven green wastes. The best alternative strategy was determined by using the  analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) model developed into several improvement scenarios. The measurement of  the alternative strategy performance was rated as the future Green Productivity Index (GPI) and compared with the value of current GPI, which had been calculated in the PT. XYZ, as the case study. The results of this research was  able to provide the best productivity improvement strategy, the level of company’s productivity which has been achieved, and the productivity levels of the implementation of the strategy chosen.ABSTRAKIndonesia merupakan negara kedua penghasil karet alam terbesar di dunia dengan produksi sebesar 28% dari total produksi dunia di tahun 2010. Sejalan dengan bertumbuhnya industri otomotif dunia, kebutuhan karet alam sebagai produk komplementer karet sintetik akan turut mengalami peningkatan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah untuk merumuskan alternatif strategi terbaik pada peningkatan produktivitas proses budidaya karet alam melalui pendekatan konsep Green Productivity (GP). Studi kasus dilakukan di PT. XYZ, perusahaan swasta yang bergerak dibidang usaha perkebunan dan pengolahan karet alam. analisis aliran material dilakukan dengan menggunakan peta aliran material hijau untuk menganalisa tujuh jenis sumber pembangkit limbah hijau (seven green wastes).  Alternatif strategi terbaik ditentukan dengan menggunakan model Analytical Hierarchy Process (aHP) yang kemudian dikembangkan menjadi beberapa rancangan skenario perbaikan. Pengukuran kinerja alternatif strategi ini selanjutnya dinilai sebagai indeks produktivitas hijau (GPI) perbaikan (future) dan dibandingkan dengan nilai indeks GPI saat ini (current), yang telah dihitung pada studi kasus yang dilakukan. Hasil penelitian ini  mampu memberikan informasi strategi peningkatan produktivitas terbaik, tingkat produktivitas yang telah dicapai perusahaan, dan tingkat produktivitas hasil penerapan strategi terpilih.
