Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan awalan dan akhiran di Dialek Nusa Penida (DNP) yang termasuk derivasi dan infleksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dua informan dari Nusa Penida telah dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan tiga teknik, yaitu: observasi, teknik perekaman, dan teknik wawancara (mendengarkan dan mencatat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada dua jenis awalan derivasi di DNP; awalan {mΛ-} dan {m-} dan ada lima jenis awalan infleksi di DNP; awalan {n-}, {ŋ-}, {ñ-}, {m-} dan {Λ-}. Ada dua jenis akhiran derivasi di DNP; akhiran {-Λŋ} dan {-In} dan ada tiga jenis akhiran infleksi di DNP; akhiran {-ē}, {-Λŋ}, dan {-In}. Awalan dan akhiran di Dialek Nusa Penida yang termasuk derivasi adalah awalan {mΛ-} dan {m-} dan akhiran {-Λŋ}, dan {-in}. Awalan dan akhiran di Dialek Nusa Penida yang temasuk infleksi adalah awalan {n-}, {ŋ-}, {ñ-}, {m-}, dan {Λ-} dan akhiran {-ē}, {-Λŋ}, dan {-In}.Kata Kunci : morfem derivasi, morfem infleksi, dialek Nusa Penida This study aimed at describing the prefixes and suffixes in Nusa Penida Dialect (NPD) which belong to derivation and inflection. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan materi pembelajaran yang menyatu-padukan membaca dan menulis yang berbasis ICT untuk siswa kelas 7 di SMP N 4 Baturiti. Penelitian ini dirancang berdasarkan pada rancangan penelitian pengembangan yang dikemukakan oleh Dick, Carey dan Carey di tahun 2005. Model penelitian ini terdiri atas tiga langkah utama yaitu; analisa keperluan, pengembangan produk, dan evaluasi produk. Analisa keperluan diadakan dalam rangka memperoleh informasi tentang apa yang diperlukan dan sifat khas siswa, infrastruktur sekolah, dan topik yang harus muncul di dalam produk. Pada langkah pengembangan produk, materi dikumpulkan dan kemudian dikembangkan dengan menggunakan dua program bernama Hot Potatoes dan Macromedia Dreamweaver. Pada langkah evaluasi produk, diadakan penilaian ahli dan pengujian lapangan (field try-out) terhadap produk tersebut. Untuk keperluan langkah penilaian dari ahli, penelitian melibatkan dua ahli yang masing - masing memiliki keahlian dalam bidang berbeda yaitu; isi/kurikulum dan ICT. Hasil penilaian ahli menunjukkan kualitas materi yang dikembangkan sangat baik dengan nilai 3,88 dalam skala 0.1 – 4.0. Selain itu, pengujian lapangan terhadap produk juga diadakan untuk menguji apakah materi yang dikembangkan tersebut bisa dipakai dengan baik untuk mengajar keterampilan membaca dan menulis. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa materi tersebut dapat dipergunakan dimana ini bisa dilihat dari tanggapan positif yang diberikan siswa sebanyak 86%.Kata Kunci : Hot Potatoes, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Menyatu-padukan Kemampuan Membaca dan Menulis, Pengembangan Materi The aim of this study was to develop ICT based integrated reading and writing materials for the seventh grade students of SMP N 4 Baturiti. This study was designed based on research and development design proposed by Dick, Carey and Carey in 2005. This model consisted of three main stages namely; needs analysis, product development, and product evaluation. Needs analysis was conducted in an attempt to obtain information about the needs and characteristics of the students, infrastructures of the school, and the topics that should appear in the product. In the product development stage, materials were collected and then developed using two programs called Hot Potatoes and Macromedia Dreamweaver. In product evaluation, the experts’ judgment and field try-out were conducted. For the need of experts’ judgment stage, this study used experts who came from two different expertise; content/curriculum and ICT. The result of experts’ judgment showed a very good quality of the developed materials with score of 3.88 within 0.1 – 4.0 scale. Moreover, a field try-out was held to test whether the materials could be used to teach reading and writing skills properly. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tahu ada tidaknya perbedaan yang signifikan pada kompetensi bahasa Inggris siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan lagu-lagu kreasi dan yang diajar dengan menggunakan teknik konvensional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang berbentuk Randomized Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Ada dua kelompok dalam penelitian ini, yaitu kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol yang diberikan perlakuan berbeda. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siwa kelas 4 di SD Negeri 2 Dangin Puri pada tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Kelas IV A dan IV C terpilih sebagai sampel melalui Cluster Random Sampling. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian merupakan hasil dari tes akhir yang dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis secara deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen lebih besar daripada kelompok kontrol, dimana nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen sebesar 80.3 dan nilai rata-rata kelompok kontrol sebesar 73.1. Hasil dari analisis inferensial secara statistik melalui independent sample t-test menunjukkan bahwa nilai dari to (t-observasi) adalah 3.144 melampaui nilai tcv (t-nilai kritis) pada 1.99 (tingkat signifikan 5%) . Analisis tersebut menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan diantara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa teknik lagu-lagu kreasi memberikan efek yang signifikan pada terhadap kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa kelompok eksperimen di SD Negeri 2 Dangin Puri pada tahun akademik 2013/2014.Kata Kunci : Kompetensi bahasa Inggris, lagu-lagu kreasi The objective of this study was to find out whether or not there was a significance difference in students’ English competence taught by using Scripted Songs technique and conventional technique. This study was an experimental research in the form of Randomized Post-Test Only Control Group Design. There were two groups in this study, experimental group and control group, which were given different treatment. The population of the study was all fourth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Dangin Puri in the academic year 2013/2014. Class IV A and class IV C were chosen as the sample through Cluster Random Sampling. The data in this study were obtained from the results of posttest which were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The result from descriptive analysis shows that the experimental group achieved higher mean score in English competence than the control group, in which the mean score of experimental group is 80.3 and the mean score of control group is 73.1. The result of the inferential statistical analysis through independent sample t-test shows that value of to (t-observed) is 3.144, exceeding value of tcv (t-critical value) at 1.99 (significance level 5%). The analysis shows that there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group. Thus, it can be concluded that Scripted Songs technique gave a significant effect upon the experimental group students’ English competence of SD Negeri 2 Dangin Puri in the academic year 2013/2014.keyword : English competence, Scripted Songs

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, yang bertujuan untuk membandingkan proses morfologi dari dialek Desa Tambakan dan Desa Pelaga. Fokus dari penelitian ini pada proses penambahan awalan dan akhiran kepada kata dasar yang terjadi pada dialek Desa Tambakan dan Pelaga. Data didapatkan melalui interaksi langsung dengan informan dari kedua desa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara secara langsung, perekaman percakapan, dan observasi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah alat perekam, daftar kata Swadesh, dan daftar kata Budasi. Hasil dari peneltian ini menunjukan bahwa awalan yang terdapat di dialek Tambakan adalah {si-}, {pa-}, {ma-}, {N-}, {ka-}, dan {ba-}; akhiran yang terdapat di dialek Tambakan adalah {-ne}, {-ang}, {-an}, {-a}, {-in}, dan, {-n}; awalan yang terdapat di dialek Pelaga adalah {si-}, {pa-}, {ma-}, {N-}, dan {ka-}; dan akhiran yang terdapat di dialek Pelaga adalah {-ne}, {-ang}, {-an}, {-a}, {-in}, dan {-n}. Awalan {ba-} hanya ditemukan di dialek Tambakan saja. Imbuhan dari kedua dialek yang mengalami proses derivasi adalah {si-}, {ma-}, {N-}, {ka-}, {pa-}, {-in}, {-ang}, dan {-an}. Perbedaan proses derivasi kedua dialek tersebut terdapat pada awalan {ba-} yang hanya ditemukan di dialek Tambakan. Awalan dari kedua dialek yang mengalami proses infleksi adalah {ma-}, {N-}, {pa-}, {-in}, {-ne}, {-ang}, {-a}, {-n} and {-an}. Perbedaan dari dua dialek tersebut terdapat pada awalan {ka-} dan {ba-} yang hanya ditemukan mengalami proses infleksi di dialek Tambakan saja. Walaupun Desa Tambakan dan Pelaga tergolong dialek Bali Dataran, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua dialek tersebut memiliki perbedaan dalam proses morfologi yang mencangkup proses penambahan imbuhan pada kata dasarnya.Kata Kunci : dialek Bahasa Bali, imbuhan, penelitian deskriptif komparatif, proses morfologi This study was a descriptive qualitative study, which aimed at comparing the morphological process of Tambakan and Pelaga Dialects qualitatively. The focus on this study was the process of adding prefix and suffix to the word base of those dialects. Data were collected through direct encounter with the informants of two dialects. It was done through interviews, recording, and observation. The instruments used in obtaining data were recorder, Swadesh wordlist, and Budasi wordlist. The result of the study shows that the prefixes of Tambakan Dialect were {si-}, {pa-}, {ma-}, {N-}, {ka-}, and {ba-}; the suffixes of Tambakan Dialect were {-ne}, {-ang}, {-an}, {-a}, {-in}, and, {-n}; the prefixes of Pelaga Dialect were {si-}, {pa-}, {ma-}, {N-}, and {ka-}; and the suffixes of Pelaga Dialect were {-ne}, {-ang}, {-an}, {-a}, {-in}, and {-n}. Prefix {ba-} was only found on Tambakan Dialect only and it was not found on Pelaga Dialect. The same prefixes and suffixes of two dialects undergoing derivational process were {si-}, {ma-}, {N-}, {ka-}, {pa-}, {-in}, {-ang}, and {-an}. The difference was on Prefix {ba-}, which was found on Tambakan Dialect only. The same prefixes and suffixes of the two dialects undergoing inflectional process were {ma-}, {N-}, {pa-}, {-in}, {-ne}, {-ang}, {-a}, {-n} and {-an}. The difference was on Prefix {ka-} and {ba-}, which underwent inflectional process on Tambakan Dialect only. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujan untuk mendiskripsikan jumlah fonem dari dialek Pelaga. Penelitian deskriptif ini di desain dengan menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Tiga narasumber di pilih berdasarkan beberapa kriteria. Data di kumpulkan berdasarkan tiga word list, yaitu Swadesh, Budasi, and Holle. Data yang diperoleh di analisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan PD memiliki 55 fonem, yaitu: 6 vowel: /ʌ/, /i/, /u/, /e/, /o/, dan /∂/. 4 geminate vowels: /ʌʌ/, /II/,/ɔɔ/, and /ʊʊ/, 19 Consonants: /p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, /k/, /g/,/ʔ/,/s/, /ʧ/,/j/, /l/, /r/, /h/, /m/, /n/, /ñ/, / ŋ/, /w/, and /y/, and 19 Consonant clusters: /kl/,/pl/, /bl, /ml/, /tl/, /kr/, /mp/, /mb/, /nt/, /nd/,/nj/, /nc/, /ŋk/, /ŋs/, /ŋg/, /ŋw/, and /ŋky/. Tidak semua distribusi fonem PD ada di tiga posisi (initial. middle and final). Kata Kunci : Kata Kunci: Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, sistem fonologi ,dialek Pelaga, fonem, vokal, diftong, konsonan and kelompok konsonan. The study aimed at describing the number of phonemes of Pelaga Dialect (PD). This descriptive study was designed by using a descriptive qualitative research. The result of the study shows that PD has 55 phonemes, namely: 6 vowels; /ʌ/, /i/, /u/, /e/, /o/, and /∂/. 9 Dipthongs; /ʌi/, /iʌ/, /ʌu/, /uʌ/, /ʌ∂/, /ʌe/, /ʌɔ/, /iu/, and /ɔʌ/, 4 geminate vowels; /ʌʌ/, /II/,/ɔɔ/, and /ʊʊ/, 19 Consonants; /p/, /b/, /t/, /d/, /k/, /g/,/ʔ/,/s/, /ʧ/,/j/, /l/, /r/, /h/, /m/, /n/, /ñ/, / ŋ/, /w/, and /y/, and 19 Consonant clusters; /kl/,/pl/, /bl, /ml/, /tl/, /kr/, /mp/, /mb/, /nt/, /nd/,/nj/, /nc/, /ŋk/, /ŋs/, /ŋg/, /ŋw/, and /ŋky/. Abstract

Penelitian eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk menemukan efek yang signifikan dari penggunaan teknik Scripted Songs dengan teknik pembelajaran konvensional terhadap siswa kelas 4 SD Negeri No 6 Dalung, Kecamatan Kuta Utara, Kabupaten Badung, Tahun Ajaran 2013/2014. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control group design. Penggunaan teknik cluster random sampling menunjukan bahwa kelas 4A dipilih sebagai kelas control yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan teknik pembelajaran konvensional sedangkan kelas 4C dipilih sebagai kelas eksperimen yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan teknik Scripted Songs. Kedua kelompok tersebut masing-masing terdiri dari 40 siswa. Hasil dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa siswa yang diajarkan dengan menerapkan teknik Scripted Songs tampil lebih baik daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan menerapkan teknik pembelajaran konvensional. Nilai rata-rata dari kelas eksperimen adalah 79,1 dan kelas control 75,5. Hasil analisis uji-t menunjukan bahwa thitung adalah 3.755. Nilai itu lebih tinggi daripada ttabel 1,99085 (α = 0,05). Selain itu, hasil kuisioner mengindikasikan bahwa penerapan teknik Scripted Songs membuat siswa termotivasi dalam memahami kompetensi berbahasa inggris. Dengan demikian, hipotesis dari penelitian ini diterima. Kesimpulannya, teknik lagu kreasi berkontribusi dalam memberikan efek yang signifikan pada kompetensi berbahasa inggris siswa. Kata Kunci : Scripted Songs, kompetensi bahasa inggris This experimental study aimed at finding out the significant effect of Scripted Songs technique and conventional teaching technique towards English competences of fourth grade students of SD Negeri No 6 Dalung, Kuta Utara Sub-District, Badung in academic year 2013/2014. The design of this study was post-test only control group design. The implementation of cluster random sampling technique showed that class 4.A as the control group which was taught by using conventional teaching technique and class 4.C as the experimental group which was taught by using Scripted Songs technique. Both groups consisted of 40 students each. The results of data analysis showed that the students who were taught by implementing Scripted Songs technique performed better than those who were taught by implementing conventional teaching technique. The mean score of experimental group was 79.1 and the control group was 75.5. The results of t-test analysis showed that the tobs was 3.755. It was higher than the value of the tcv at 1.99085 (α = 0.05). Moreover, the result of questionnaire indicated that the implementation of Scripted Songs technique motivated the students in comprehending English competences. In conclusion, Scripted Songs technique contributed in giving highly significant effect to students’ English competence.keyword : Scripted songs, English competence

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membedakan sistem fonologi antara dialek Pelaga (PD) dan Tambakan (TD) dan pengaruhnya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah dialek Pelaga dan Tambakan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis dari penelitian konstrastif. Sistem fonologi dari kedua dialek dipaparkan pertamanya. Data dipaparkan menggunakan 3 jenis wordlist (Swadesh, Budasi, dan Holle) yang dikumpulkan menggunakan teknik perekaman dan pencatatan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan dari kedua dialek. Dalam hal fonem, PD memiliki 55 dan TD memiliki 48. Sementara itu, distribusi dari vokal kedua dialek menunjukkan perbedaan, walaupun jumlah keduanya sama. PD dan TD memiliki jumlah diftong yang sama, yakni 9. Dari 19 konsonan kedua dialek, kebanyakan memiliki distribusi yang lengkap. Namun, konsonan /ʔ/ dalam PD muncul di posisi tengah dan akhir, sementara dalam TD hanya muncul di posisi akhir. Dalam hal gugus konsonan, PD memiliki 17 dan TD hanya 11. Dalam pengaruhnya terhadap pembelajaran bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa asing, fonem bahasa Inggris /ӕ/, /ɒ/, /ɜ/, /ɑ/, /ɑI/, /ɑʊ/, /f/, /v/, /ɵ/, /ð/, /z/, /ʃ/, /ʤ/ dan semua triftong menjadi kendala dalam pengucapannya oleh orang-orang Pelaga dan Tambakan.Kata Kunci : bukti-bukti kualitatif, dialek Pelaga, dialek Tambajan, penelitian kontrastif The study aimed at contrasting the phonological systems of Pelaga Dialect (PD) and Tambakan Dialect (TD) and its implication to learning English as a foreign language. The subjects of this study were Pelaga and Tambakan dialects. This study was a contrastive research. The phonological systems of both dialects were firstly described. The obtained data in the form of wordlists (Swadesh, Budasi, and Holle) were collected through recording and listening and noting techniques. The result of the study shows that PD and TD have differences. In terms of phonemes, it was found that PD had 55 phonemes and TD had 48 phonemes. In term of vowel, the distribution of the vowels is different, although they have the same number of it. PD has 9 diphthongs and TD also has 9 diphthongs. From the 19 consonants of both dialects, most of the consonant have complete distribution. There is only the distribution of consonant /ʔ/ that differentiates both dialects in which in PD consonant /ʔ/ appears in the middle and final position, while in TD it appears in the final position only. In term of consonant cluster, PD has 17 consonant clusters and TD only has 11 consonant clusters. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan awalan dan akhiran di Silangjana Dialek yang mengalami proses derivasi dan infleksi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dua informan sampel Silangjana Dialek dipilih berdasarkan seperangkat kriteria. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan tiga teknik, yaitu: observasi, teknik perekaman, dan wawancara (mendengarkan dan mencatat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada enam jenis prefiks di Silangjana Dialek; awalan {mΛ-}, {n-}, {} ŋ-, {ñ-}, {m-} dan {Λ}-. Ada tiga macam akhiran di Silangjana Dialek; akhiran {-ē}, {-Λŋ}, dan {}-In. Prefiks dan sufiks di Silangjana Dialek menjalani proses derivasi: prefix {mΛ-}, {n-}, dan {m-} dan sufiks {-Λŋ}, dan {-in}. Prefiks dan sufiks di Silangjana Dialek menjalani proses infleksional: prefix {n-}, {} ŋ-, {ñ-}, {m-}, dan {Λ}-dan akhiran {-ē}, {-Λŋ}, dan {-In}.Kata Kunci : derivasi, infleksi, dialek silangjana The study aimed at describing the prefixes and suffixes in Silangjana Dialect which undergo derivational and inflectional processes. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Two informants sample of Silangjana Dialect were chosen based on a set of criteria. The data were collected based on three techniques, namely: observation, recording technique, and interview (listening and noting) technique. The results of the study showed that there were six kinds of prefixes in Silangjana Dialect; prefix {mΛ-}, {n-}, {ŋ-}, {ñ-}, {m-} and {Λ-}. There were three kinds of suffixes in Silangjana Dialect; suffix {-ē}, {-Λŋ}, and {-In}. Prefixes and suffixes in Silangjana Dialect undergo derivational process: prefix {mΛ-}, {n-}, and {m-} and suffix {-Λŋ}, and {-in}.
