Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian in adalah untuk mendeskripsikan tentang jenis strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh guru- guru Taman Kanak- kanak Aura Sukma Insani dalam mengajar Bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa kedua. Penelitian ini melingkupi jenis-jenis strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh guru-guru dalam mengajar, alasan guru-guru dalam menggunakan jenis-jenis strategi komunikasi dalam mengajar, dan pedapat siswa mengenai jenis-jenis strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengajar. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan oleh peneliti sebagai instrumen utama, dan dibantu oleh beberapa alat, seperti perekam video, lembar observasi, dan pedoman wawancara. Data mengenai jenis dari strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh guru-guru dikumpulkan memalui proses merekam dan mengamati proses belajar mengajar, sedangkan pedoman wawancara digunakan untuk mengumpulkan informasi tentang alasan guru-guru dalam menggunakan tipe-tipe strategi komunikasi dalam mengajar, dan pendapat siswa mengenai strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh guru dalam mengajar. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 15 jenis dari strategi komunikasi yang digunakan oleh guru. Strategi perubahan kode adalah yang paling sering digunakan oleh guru. Alasan dari guru menggunakan strategi tersebut adalah untuk membantu guru-guru dalam menjelaskan materi kepada siswa, mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi, dan mencegah terjadinya kesalahpahaman antara siswa dan guru saat berkomunikasi. Data juga menunjukkan bahwa guru mendapatkan persepsi yang positif dari siswanya dalam menggunakan strategi komunikasi selama proses belajar mengajar. Kata Kunci : Strategi Komunikasi, guru bahasa Inggris, dan proses belajar mengajar. The purpose of this study was to describe the communication strategies used by kindergarten teachers of Aura Sukma Insani in teaching English as a second language. It includes the types of communication strategies used by the teachers in teaching, the reasons of the teachers in using such types of communication strategies and the students’ perception toward communication strategies used by the teachers. The subjects of this study were kindergarten teachers of Aura Sukma Insani Kindergarten. The data were collected by using the researcher as the main instrument helped by some devices, namely audio-video recorder, observation sheets, and the interview guides.The types of communication strategies were gathered by observing and recording the teacher during teaching and learning process, while the interview guides were used to gather the data about the teacher’s reason in using such types of communication strategies and the students’ perception toward the communication strategies used by the teachers. The results of this study showed that there were 15 types of communication strategies used by the teachers. Code switching strategy was the most frequently used by the teachers. The reasons of the teachers used those strategies were to help the teachers in delivering the material to the students, made the students easier to understand the material, and avoid the communication breakdown among teachers and the students. The data also showed that the teachers got positive perception from their students in applying Communication Strategies during teaching and learning process. keyword : Communication Strategies, English teacher, teaching and learning process

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan awalan dan akhiran infleksi dan awalan dan akhiran derivasi dari Dialek Banyuseri di desa Banyuseri.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.Tiga contoh informan dari Dialek Banyuseri dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan tiga teknik, yaitu: observasi, teknik perekaman, dan teknik wawancara (mendengarkan dan mencatat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada dua jenis awalan di Dialek Banyuseri yang termasuk derivasi, awalan {mә-} dan{m-}. Ada enam jenis awalan di Dialek Banyuseri yang termasuk infleksi, awalan {n-}, {ŋ-}{-ñ}, {m-}{-Λ}, dan {-kΛ}. Ada dua jenis akhiran di Dialek Banyuseri yang termasuk derivasi, akhiran {-Λŋ} dan {-In}. Ada empat jenis akhiran di Dialek Banyuseri yang termasuk infleksi, akhiran {ē-},{-nē}, {-ә} dan{-Λŋ}.Awalan dan akhiran di Dialek Banyuseri yang termasuk derivasi adalah awalan {mә-} dan{m-}dan akhiran {-Λŋ} dan {-In}. Awalan dan akhiran di Dialek Banyuseri yang temasuk infleksi adalah awalan {n-}, {ŋ-},{-ñ}, {m-}{-Λ}, dan {-kΛ}dan akhiran {ē-},{-nē}, {-ә} dan{-Λŋ}.Kata Kunci : Awalan dan Akhiran Derivasi, Awalan dan Akhiran Infleksi, Dialek Banyuseri The study aimed at describing inflectional prefixes and suffixes and derivational prefixes and suffixes of Banyuseri Dialect in Banyuseri village. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. Three informants sample of Banyuseri Dialect were chosen based on a set of criteria. The data were collected based on three techniques, namely: observation, recording technique, and interview (listening and noting) technique. The results of the study showed that there were two kinds of derivational prefixes in Banyuseri Dialect; prefix {mә-} and {m-}. Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah sebuah studi experimen yang menyelidiki efek dari penggunaan scripted song-based audio media pada kompetensi bahasa Inggris yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas 5 di gugus 1 Kecamatan Kubutambaha, Buleleng-Bali pada tahun ajaran 2014/2015. Desain penelitian ini adalah post-test only control group design dan menggunakan teknik random sampling untuk menentukan sample penelitian. SDN 1 Kubutambahan ditentukan sebagai grup experimen yang kemudian diberikan perlakuan berupa scripted song-based audio media dan SDN 2 Kubutambahan ditentukan sebagai grup control yang kemudian diberikan perlakuan berupa conventional teaching. Hasil dari analisis data menunjukan bahwa grup experimen mencapai kompetensi bahasa Igggris yang lebih tinggi daripada grup control.itu dibuktikan oleh rata-rata nilai mereka dimana siswa grup experimen memperoleh nilai 90.17 dan siswa grup control memperoleh nilai 79.85. Hasil dari t-test juga membuktikan bahwa scripted song-based audio media memberikan efek signifikan terhadap kompetensi bahasa Inggris yang dimiliki oleh siswa-siswa kelas 5 di Subdisktrik 1, Kubutambahan.Kata Kunci : media audio, kompetensi bahasa Inggris, scripted song, This study was an experimental study which investigated the effect of scripted song-based audio media on the fifth grade students’ English competence in Kubutambahan Sub-district 1, Buleleng-Bali in academic year 2014/2015. The design of this study was post-test only control group design and used a random sampling technique to determine the sample. SDN 1 Kubutambahan was determined as the experimental group and further treated by scripted song-based audio media and SDN 2 Kubutambahan was determined as the control group and further treated by conventional teaching technique. The results of data analysis show that the experimental group students achieved a higher English competence than the control group. It was proven by their mean score where the experimental group students got 90.17 and the control group got 79.85. The result of the t-test also proves that scripted song-based audio media gave significant effect on the fifth grade students’ English competence. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah media audio yang berbasis lagu kreasi (Scripted Song) bisa meningkatkan kompetensi bahasa Inggris siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar di Gugus 2 Gerokgak. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dalam bentuk Post-Test Only Control Group Design. Ada eksperimen group dan kontrol group dalam penelitian ini. Mereka diberikan pengajaran yang berbeda. Dalam penelitian ini, semua siswa kelas lima sekolah dasar di Gugus 2 Gerokgak diambil sebagai populasi. Para siswa kelas lima dari SD Negeri 2 Tinga-Tinga (kelompok eksperimen) dan SD Negeri 3 Tinga-Tinga (kelompok kontrol) dipilih sebagai sampel melalui Random Sampling. Setelah diberi cara pengajaran yang berbeda, penulis menggunakan posttest untuk mendapatkan data dan menganalisanya secara deskriptif dan inferensial. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, nilai rata-rata dari kelompok eksperimen adalah 85.9, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 71.36. Dengan kata lain, kelompok eksperimen meraih nilai yang lebih tinggi untuk kompetensi bahasa Inggris dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil data analisis secara inferensial melalui independen sampel t-test menunjukkan bahwa nilai dari t-observed adalah 6.500, melebihi nilai dari tcv (t-critical value) pada 1.667 (α= 5%). Jadi, hasil dari t-test mengindikasikan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Hal tersebut juga membuktikan bahwa media audio berbasis lagu kreasi (Scripted Song) bisa memberikan pengaruh (peningkatan) terhadap kompetensi bahasa Inggris.Kata Kunci : media audio, kompetensi bahasa Inggris, lagu kreasi. This study aimed at finding out whether or not the audio media based on scripted songs give a significant effect to the fifth grade students’ English competence of primary schools at sub district 2 Gerokgak. This study was an experimental research in the form of Post-Test Only Control Group Design. There were experimental group and control group in this study. They were given different treatments. In this study, all fifth grade students of primary schools at sub district 2 Gerokgak were taken as the population. The fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Tinga-tinga (experimental group) and SD Negeri 3 Tinga-tinga (control group) were determined as the sample of the study through Random Sampling. After giving different treatments, the researcher used a posttest to obtain the data and analyzed them descriptively and inferentially. Based on descriptive analysis, the experimental group’s mean score was 85.9, while 71.36 for the control group. The experimental group achieved higher score in English competence than the control one. The results of the inferential statistical analysis through independent sample t-test show that value of t-observed was 6.500, exceeding value of tcv (t-critical value) at 1.667 (α= 5%). Thus, the result of the t-test indicates that there was a significant difference between the experimental and the control group. The study proves that the audio media based on scripted songs could give a significant effect to the students’ English competence. keyword : audio media, English competence, scripted songs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujan untuk menemukan efek signifikan dari pengimplementasian audio media berbasis lagu kreasi pada kemampuan kompetensi anak kelas 5 SD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Tahun ajaran 2014/2015 di Gugus 1 Kecamatan Busungbiu, Kabupaten Buleleng. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode posttest only control group, dimana dihasil akhir akan membandingkan antara nilai sumatif siswa dengan nilai posttest siswa. Hasil analisis secara deskriptif dan inferential menunjukan bahwa nilai rata-rata dari kelas eksperiment menunjukan efek yang signifikan jika disbandingkan dengan kelas control dan dukung dengan hasil t-test yang sesuai. Hasil tersebut membuktikan bahwa pengimplementasian audio media berbasis lagu kreasi memberikan signifikan efek terhadap kompetensi siswa kelas 5 SD.Kata Kunci : audio media, kompetensi, lagu kreasi This experimental study aims at finding the significant effect of Audio Media based on Scripted Songs upon the fifth grade students’ competency in primary school at Sub-District 1 Busungbiu, Buleleng in academic year 2014/2015. The design of this study was post-test only control group design. The implementation of cluster random sampling technique administrated that SD N 1 Busungbiu as experimental group which was taught by using Audio Media based on Scripted Songs and SD N 3 Busungbiu as the control group which was taught by using conventional teaching technique .Both groups consisted of 22 students each. The results of data analysis show that the students who were taught by Audio Media based on Scripted Songs performed better than those who were taught by implementing conventional teaching technique. The mean score of experimental group was 82.9 and the control group was 70.28. It was proved by the results of t-test analysis shows that the tobs was 7.793. It was higher than the value of the tcv at 2.009 (α = 0.05). In conclusion, Audio Media based on Scripted Songs gave significant effect toward students’ English competencykeyword : audio media, competency, scripted songs

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan jenis prefix (awalan), suffix (akhiran) dan circumstance (awalan-akhiran), bagaimana imbuhan (affix) membentuk kata-kata dan jenis makna imbuhan (affix) apa yang terjadi pada Dialek Galungan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dua sampel informan dari penutur Dialek Galungan dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang ditetapkan. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan dua teknik, yaitu: observasi dan teknik wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat prefix (awalan), tiga suffix (akhiran), dan tiga circumstance (awalan-akhiran) pada Dialek Galungan. Adapun jenis awalannya (prefix) adalah {N-}, {ma-}, {pa-}, dan {ka-}. Jenis Akhiran (suffix) meliputi {-in}, {-ang}, dan {-ne}. Jenis awalan-akhiran (circumstance) yang terdapat pada dialek galungan adalah {N-in}, {N-ang}, dan {ma-an}. Prefix (awalan), suffix (akhiran), dan circumstance (awalan-akhiran) memiliki 21 jumlah makna. Adapaun diantaranya adalah: prefix (awalan) {N-} memiliki dua makna, {ma-} memiliki empat makna, {pa-} memiliki tiga makna, dan {ka-} memiliki dua makna. Suffix (akhiran): {-in} memiliki satu makna, {-ang} memiliki satu makna, dan {-ne} memiliki dua makna. Circumstance (awalan-akhiran): {N-in} memiliki tiga makna, {N-ang} memiliki satu makna, dan {ma-an} memiliki dua makna. Pada bab diskusi, juga dijelaskan tentang proses derivation (imbuhan yang mengubah kelas kata) dan inflection (imbuhan yang tidak mengubah kelas kata) serta proses morphophonemic dari Imbuhan (Affix).Kata Kunci : Dialek Galungan, imbuhan (affix), awalan (prefix), akhiran (suffix), awalan-akhiran (circumstance), derivation, inflection dan proses morphophonemic This study aimed at describing kinds of prefixes, suffixes and circumstances, how affixes construct the words and what kinds of affixation meaning occur in Galungan Dialect. The suffixes are {-in}, {-ang}, and {-ne}. The circumstance are {N-in}, {N-ang} and {ma-an}. Prefixes, suffixes, and circumstance have total 21 meanings. Prefixes: {N-} have two meanings, {ma-} have four meanings, {pa-} have three meanings, and {ka-} have two meanings. Suffixes: {-in} has one meaning, {-ang} has one meaning and {-ne} have two meanings. Circumstances: {N-in} have three meanings, {N-ang} has one meanings and {ma-an} have two meanings. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan awalan dan akhiran. infleksi dan awalan dan akhiran derivasi dari Dialek Tigawasa di desa Tigawasa. Dua contoh informan dari Dialek Tigawasa dipilih berdasarkan kriteria yang ditentukan. Data dikumpulkan berdasarkan tiga teknik, yaitu: observasi, teknik perekaman, dan teknik wawancara (mendengarkan dan mencatat). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada dua jenis awalan di Dialek Tigawasa yang termasuk derivasi, awalan {m∂-}, {ŋ∂-}. The results of the study show that there are two kinds of derivational prefixes in Tigawasa Dialect such as prefix {m∂-}, {ŋ∂-}. There were five kinds of inflectional prefixes in Tigawasa Dialect; prefix {ŋ-}, {n-}, {ñ-}, {m-} and {kʌr-}. There were two kinds of derivational suffixes in Tigawasa Dialect; suffix {-Λŋ} and {-In}. There were two kinds of inflectional suffixes; suffix {-ʌn} and {-Ʌ}. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan awalan dan akhiran dari Dialek Penglipuran yang memiliki proses derivasi dan infleksi. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu teknik observasi, teknik rekaman, dan teknik wawancara (mendengarkan dan mencatat). Tiga narasumber dari Penglipuran dipilih sesuai dengan kriteria. Kriterianya yaitu narasumber yang cerdas, mempunyai kompetensi dalam berbicara, mempunyai pengetahuan yang cukup tentang topik tersebut, narasumber adalah pembicara asli dari Desa Penglipuran, sabar, perhatian yang tinggi, dan mempunyai cukup waktu untuk diwawancarai, tidak memiliki gangguan pada organ bicara, memiliki pendengar yang baik dan mampu menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan, percaya diri dan bangga bahasa dan budayanya. Hasil penilitian menunjukan bahwa ada enam jenis awalan dalam Dialek Penglipuran yaitu {mə-}, {m-}, {n-}, {ŋ-}, {ñ-}, and {ə-} dan ada tiga jenis akhiran dalam Dialek Penglipuran yaitu {-Λŋ}, {-In} and, {-ɔ}. Awalan dan akhiran dalam Dialek Penglipuran yang termasuk dalam proses derivasi yaitu awalan {mə-} and {m-} dan akhiran {-Λŋ} and {-Ιn}. Awalan dan akhiran di Dialek Penglipuran yang termasuk dalam proses infleksi yaitu awalan {n-}, {ŋ-}, {ñ-}, {m-}, and {ə-} dan akhiran {-ɔ}, {-Λŋ}, dan {-In}.Kata Kunci : imbuhan, dialek penglipuran, proses derivasi dan infleksi This study aimed at describing the prefixes and suffixes in Penglipuran Dialect which belong to derivation and inflection. This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The data were collected using three techniques, namely observation, recording technique, and interview (listening and noting) technique. Three informants sample from Penglipuran were chosen based on criteria. The criteria were the informants are smart, have comunicative competence, have enough knowledge about the topic, the informants are the native speaker of the Penglipuran village, patient, high-attention, and have enough time to be interviewed, not having disturbances related to speech organs, a good listener and able to answer the questions, and confident and proud of their language and culture. The results of the study showed that there were six kinds of prefixes in Penglipuran Dialect were prefix {mə-}, {m-}, {n-}, {ŋ-}, {ñ-}, and {ə-} and there were three kinds of suffixes in Penglipuran Dialect were {-Λŋ}, {-In} and, {-ɔ}. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan arah perubahan bentuk bunyi dari Pacung dialek ke dialek Les, yang meliputi perubahan asimilasi, perubahan disimilasi, dan perubahan metatesis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif. Tiga informan masing-masing dialek terpilih sebagai sampel informan dari penelitian ini. Dalam hal ini, satu sampel yang penting ditentukan sebagai informan utama dan dua lainnya ditentukan sebagai informan sekunder. Data yang diperoleh dikumpulkan berdasarkan tiga teknik, yaitu observasi, wordlist, dan panduan wawancara. Berdasarkan metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data diperoleh 669 kata dan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada 62 kata-kata yang dikandung oleh perubahan asimilasi, 27 kata yang terdapat perubahan disimilasi, dan tidak ada kata yang berisi perubahan metatesis. Kata Kunci : fonologi, asimilasi, disimilasi, metatesis This study aimed at describing the direction of phonological change from Pacung dialect to Les dialect, which covered assimilation change, dissimilation change, and metathesis change. This research is a descriptive research. Three speakers of each dialect were selected as informant samples of this study. In this case, one important sample was determined as the main informant and the other two were determined as the secondary informants. The obtained data were collected based on three techniques, namely observation, word list, and interview guide. Based on the method that was used to collect the data 669 words were obtained as data of study. The results of the data analysis show that there are 62 words which contained assimilation change, 27 words contained dissimilation change. Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini yaitu penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Dua narasumber dari desa Melinggih, Payangan dipilih sesuai dengan sejumlah kriteria yang ditetapkan. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan tiga teknik yaitu teknik observasi, teknik rekaman, dan teknik wawancara (mendengarkan dan mencatat). Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan ada lima awalan dan empat akhiran yang ada di Dialek Melinggih, Payangan. Awalannya meliputi {ma-}, {n-}, {ŋ-}, {ñ-}, and {ə-}. Akhirannya meliputi {-Λŋ}, {-in}, {-ɔ}, and {-an}. Awalan dan akhiran yang mengalami proses derivasi antara lain: awalan {mə-} dan {ŋ-} dan akhiran {-Λŋ}, {-in}, dan {-an}. Awalan dan akhiran yang mengalami proses infleksi yaitu: awalan {ma-}, {n-}, {ŋ-}, dan {ə-} dan akhiran {-Λŋ}, {-in}, {-ɔ}, dan {-an}.Kata Kunci : imbuhan, dialek Payangan, proses derivasi dan infleksi. This study aimed at describing the number of prefixes and suffixes existed in Melinggih_Payangan Dialect and its types of inflectional and derivational.
