Abstract

This thesis contains a description of the creation of installation art with the title Exploration of FSRD ISI Denpasar Park in Installation Art. Based on the experience gained while studying at ISI Denpasar. By practicing sensitivity in his work, the author conducts exploration in the garden of FSRD ISI Denpasar in order to explore ideas and get material for discussion in the creation of installation art. This creation uses the Warih Wisatsana creation method as a writer and curator of fine arts, starting with basic research, exploration, experiments or sketches, embodiment, and dissemination. It takes exploration of in-person interviews to create conceptual installation art. The materials used in this creation are cloth, by adopting the Balinese wastra concept and adding color strokes to the cloth. The technique used in the installation art is assembling by arranging materials into other materials, with a length of 270 meters of cloth stretching in the garden of FSRD ISI Denpasar. The response from nature makes this installation art will produce significant changes. In addition, this installation art work has been responded by ISI Denpasar students by adding materials that have been prepared, so the creation of this installation art is included in participatory art because of the intervention of other people in the installation art. In the end, it can be concluded that art is not only enjoyed with a pair of disembodied eyes, art is also able to bring the audience involved in it.

Abstract

Commodity dimensions in art include exchange value, commercial value, valorization, commodity fetishism, market logic. Reading art through the commodity dimension is an attempt to reveal the economic value contained in the work of art. This value is not only contained in works of art, but also has a deterministic power to build and organize art. art that is part of a commodity—resulting in an aesthetic category, called “commodity aesthetics”. This is the kind of aesthetic, which builds attraction through the workings of the "immediate effect" and provokes an immediate reaction, such as cuteness, fascination or eroticism. Art and science actually have the same things are mutually sustainable, cannot be separated. From the selection of materials, to manufacturing techniques, to the curation stage, it's all a collaboration of art and science. Leonardo da Vinci's realist works are also a merger of fine art and human anatomy—biology. It is from da Vinci's works that the author is compelled to create creation that are related to the biological sciences. It is also an innovation, although not the first in the world, in the arts in Indonesia, with the hope of breaking the arts that always maintain the quo status

Abstract

The writing of the MBKM Independent Study report takes ideas or ideas about Forms of Balinese masks as Inspiration for the Creation of Painting Artwork, from phenomena that the author encounters in mask performances during barong and keris dance performances and during piodolan ceremonies at Pura Dalem Segara, as well as at Pura Batubulan village center, observation of mask and tapel craftsmen at Br. Puaya and Jeleka Batuan Sukawati and the tapel collection that the author personally owns. The author has a view on masks Balinese traditional masks, that beautiful object shapes can make masks a source of inspiration in this Independent Study work, therefore the author chose Wiradana art studio as a place to study as well as a second studio to deepen skills and broaden imagination. Of course, with the guidance of Mr. Made Wiradana, he directs the writer in his work and forms the character of the tips in the works that will be made to answer what is the goal of this work, the creation method is by exploring, improvising, and shaping. By composing art elements, and going through the stages of exploration, improvisation, and the formation stage, as well as combining them with ideas and ideas so as to create 6 works entitled: 1) “jatayu and Barong ket”, 2) “Rangda”, 3) “Naga Basuki” , 4) "Bebondresan Mask", 5) "Hard Mask", 6) "Hanoman". In the embodiment of the work, the author will use several technical references from partners.

Abstract

The creation of works in the Independent Study MBKM program in this paper takes ideas or ideas about the interpretation of Aci Usaba Sumbu in Pakraman Timbrah Village in works of painting. The phenomenon of a religious ritual in Timbrah Village called Aci Usaba Sumbu which has its own uniqueness from the ceremonial facilities used in these religious activities. Banten Sumbu, which resembles a towering tower and the banten be guling which is offered by local villagers, is unique from a visual standpoint. The objects at the ceremony have their own meaning, the creator interprets them into life and social values through works of painting. The process of creating this work adopts the theory and methods of Alma M Hawkins. The creation method goes through 3 (three) stages, namely, the exploration, improvisation, forming stages. In the embodiment of the work, the ideas obtained created 6 works entitled: : 1) “Pengendalian Diri” , 2)”Keharmonisan” , 3)”Penyatuan”, 4)”Tri Kaya Parisudha”, 5)”Pohon Sumbu” 6)”Naga Sumbu”. The works created are a form of interpretation of Aci Usaba Sumbu along with the objects contained in the ceremony. With the creation of these works, it is hoped that they will be able to convey a message about the turbulence of the creator's feelings that have been observed.

Abstract

Sang Hyang Dedari is a traditional Balinese dance which is interpreted as a ceremonial dance to ask for safety Sang Hyang Dedari is a traditional Balinese dance which and repel reinforcements for the local community. The Sanghyang Dedari dance in Geriana Kauh Village has its own uniqueness, especially in the clothing and attributes used, in the clothing section the yellow and white clothing is used which symbolizes purity and safety or prosperity, which distinguishes Sanghyang in Geriana Village from the Sanghyang in place, namely in terms of the bun or crown, in Geriana Kauh Village they still use natural products as crowns, namely grapefruit peels and flowers such as sandat, cempaka, ratna, gumitir, and jepun flowers, which are arranged in such a way as to resemble a bun. Sanghyang Dedari's performance was performed at the catus pate or crossroad, in the center of the village. Sanghyang Dedari is danced by 2 to 7 child dancers who are underage, not yet mature or mature, these dancers or pengayah have the opportunity to sing for up to 3 terms, after a re-election is held. Sanghyang dedari is accompanied by songs, songs, songs. When dancing, the dancers will follow the strains of the gending being chanted, in the middle of that there is what is called the lilit-linting procession, in which the dancers will climb a bamboo stick and dance to the strains of the gending, this lilit-linting is shaped like a cross or tapak dara, which is also display a safety sign. In this independent project, the author shows the process and sequence of the Sanghyang Dedari dance, from the beginning to the end of the Sanghyang Dedari dance in Geriana Kauh Village, Duda Karangasem Strait.

Abstract

Calonarang mythology depicts the story of Queen Nata Ing Girah (ruler in the village of Girah) which is considered scary because it has magical powers and supernatural. Various mythical stories and magical rituals always color the trail Airlangga in Kahuripan, East Java during the 11th century Javanese Hindu period. Research This aims to create and analyze Calonarang's mythological themes in the work art painting. Therefore, the author raised this story into the form of a work of art painting in this Final Project in partnership with Sanggar Wasundari Kamasan Klungkung Bali. Calonarang Mythology research problems in creation. This is the concept of painting that depicts the Calonarang Mythology, what is the process of creating a work of painting depicting mythology Calonarang, and how Calonarang Mythology paintings look like. Method The research used in this writing is text analysis and study literature. The results of this research are works of art with a mythology theme Calonarang with an explanation of the concept, origins of Calonarang mythology, characteristics main characters, and important events in the story are realized in paintings.

Abstract

Revolusi industri adalah transformasi besar perkembangan teknologi dan pengetahuan pada manufaktur dengan mengubah sistem produksi dari cara tradisional menjadi lebih efktif, efisien, dan ekonomis. Perkembangan Revolusi Industri sudah terjadi sebanyak empat kali dimulai dari abad ke-18 sampai abad ke-21, mengalami dampak yang sangat pesat yang berdampak pada proses produksi dan reproduksi. Revolusi industri memiliki dampak positif yaitu membantu manusia menjalani kehidupan dengan teknologi yang baru dan juga ada dampak negatif yaitu manusia akan kehilangan lapangan pekerjaan karena sudah digantikan oleh teknologi dan robot yang dipekerjakan. Maka dari itu, fenomena ini sangat menarik saya untuk mengambil judul “Visualisasi Dampak Perkembangan Revolusi Industri Dalam Seni Lukis Digital” bertujuan agar dapat membuat karya seni lukis digital dari dampak revolusi industri, metode yang digunakan adalah metode penciptaan yang bersifat kualitatif di uraikan secara deskriftiv. Hasil dari pembahasan dampak revolus industri yang divisualisasikan menjadi seni lukis digital membahas tentang satu konsep, dua penciptaan karya, dan tiga deskripsi karya, empat estetika karya, dan kelima keotentikan karya. Penciptaan karya ini dilakukan distudio Antara Putra dari bulan Agutus sampai Maret menghasilkan enam karya seni digital yang berjudul karya 1 Revolusi 1.0, karya 2 Takterkendali, karya 3 Manusia dan teknologi, karya 4 Bali revolusi 55.0, karya 5 Serangan saiber, dan karya 6 AI.

Abstract

The process of making classic cars is certainly an activity that is rarely encountered by the general public and is very interesting to be documented both for the benefit of the company and published for the general public. The process of making a car that is made manually so it takes quite a long time and and goes through quite interesting stages, so it needs to be captured in more detail. To visualize the process of making the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing car in documentary photography at Tuxedo Studio, it is a unique and lively work. The making of the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing at Tuksedo Studio became a place and reference for expressing ideas in making documentary photos. In creating this documentary photography, the EDFAT method was applied.The purpose of implementing EDFAT is to describe aspects that need to be considered in shooting in order to obtain comprehensive, varied photos, both from a photographic point of view and in terms of exposure to events or events. Also by going through several stages of the creative process, namely exploration, experimentation, and embodiment. These methods and stages were passed in order to obtain a visual work that was in accordance with the wishes, the stages of the creation process that had been passed, in the end being able to provide a presentation on how to visualize the process of making a Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing car in documentary photography.

Abstract

Fotografi analog adalah proses representasi citra menggunakan medium perekam dengan proses kimiawi tertentu yang memanfaatkan film. Medium perekam dan penyimpan data berupa citra visual dalam fotografi analog adalah film. Film adalah sejenis lapisan plastik tipis yang peka terhadap cahaya, digunakan untuk pengambilan gambar dalam fotografi atau video. Film terdiri dari berbagai macam bentuk dari bentuk lembaran, roll (35mm,120mm,110mm). Teknik Film Soup Fotografi Analog Di Bali United menggunakan metode eksplorasi, eksperimen, dan pembentukan. Eksplorasi untuk menemukan ide terkait dengan Bali United yang merupakan sebuah tim sepak bola profesional dengan fotografi analog. Tahap selanjutnya menggunakan metode eksperimen yaitu eksperimen dalam penggunaan teknik film soup dan masih menggunakan kamera analog dan roll film dalam penciptaan karya foto ini. Metode selanjutnya yaitu visualisasi, metode visualisasi merupakan proses pengubahan dari konsep menjadi gambaran dalam bentuk nyata disajikan dalam bentuk karya seni. Dalam mendokumentasikan Bali United mengarungi Liga 1 melalui teknik film soup. Berawal dari kecintaan saya terhadap klub bola tersebut, maka saya sendiri berinisiatif untuk berkarya menggunakan kamera analog yang mungkin generasi sekarang sudah jarang mengetahui kamera tersebut. Tenkik-teknik fotografi analog yang digunakan yaitu teknik ekspose roll film, merebus dan merendam roll film dalam cairan tertentu. Penerapan teknik ini menghasilkan sebuah karya yang unik karena menghasilkan nuansa masa lampau. Teknik komposisi rule of third, sudut pengambilan atau angle, garis, dan bentuk adalah unsur-unsur penting dalam penciptaan karya Teknik Film Soup Fotografi Analog Mengarungi Liga 1 di Bali United.
