Abstract

Lautan memiliki lebar yang sangat luas dibanding daratan yang ada di bumi kita. Tidak hanya daratan saja yang dihabitati oleh makhluk hidup, tetapi perairan juga. Peraian sendiri dibagi menjadi berbagai macam yaitu air tawar, air laut, dan air payau Banyaknya kelompok dan jenis ikan yang ada membuat kita harus mengelompokkannya berdasarkan kelompok untuk dapat membedakannya. Kelompok ikan didasarkan dengan berbagai macam kelompok seperti habitat, bentuk, anatomi, hingga ukurannya. Mengutip dari data yang didapatkan pada laman kaggle, terdapat jenis ikan yang memiliki bentuk hampir menyerupai satu sama lain. Jenis-jesnis ikan yang disebutkan dalam data yaitu ikan bream, ikan parkki, ikan pearch, ikan smelt, ikan whitefish, ikan pike, dan juga ikan roach. Dilakukanlah analisis diskriminan untuk mengklasifikasikan ikan yang belum dapat dibedakan karena bentuk fisiknya yang hampir menyerupai ke dalam gugus/kelompok yang sudah ditentukan supaya tidak terjadi kerugian dalam penjualan pasar ikan. Pada hasil analisis dengan uji Wilk’s Lambda didapatkan masing-masing jenis ikan memiliki perbedaan yang signifikan, lalu kelima fungsi diskriminan dapat secara nyata membedakan ketujuh kategori target kelompok.

Abstract

The increase in air pollution that occurs due to industrial and economic activities will affect the rainwater content. The vital function of one of the sources of clean, namely rainwater, makes the urgency of research on indications of a decrease in rainwater quality by analyzing the substances contained. The parameters used for the determination of rainwater quality are the degree of acidity, conductivity, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, ammonium, sulfate ions, nitrate ions, chloride ions, total hardness, and acidity. The data source used is data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) entitled "Indonesian Environmental Statistics 2022". By using the main component analysis method to reduce the variables of rainwater quality influence factors in 35 city/station samples in Indonesia, results were obtained, namely rainwater quality influence factors that can be formed into three main components with each containing 10 variables consisting of acidity, conductivity, magnesium, sodium, potassium, chloride ions, sulfate ions, nitrate ions, total hardness, and acidity capable of explaining 73.695% of the total variance.

Abstract

Technological advances in the field of financial innovation, namely e-wallets, provide convenience and practicality in making transactions online. The use of e-wallets is popular among students, one of which is the Faculty of Science and Technology, Airlangga University. Students with interests or tastes in the type of e-wallet and the running of all activities offline make it very likely that there will be a change in student interest from one e-wallet to another e-wallet. The change in interest will be analyzed with the Markov chain transition probability. The data in this study is primary data by conducting an online survey of 100 respondents in the form of a g-form given to students of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Airlangga University. Based on the results of the Markov chain transition opportunities, it can be concluded that the use of e-wallet applications can move according to the advantages of e-wallet applications in each region. This change in interest in e-wallet application users occurs because the application of choice is an application that provides easy access, lots of discounts, small admin fees, and others.

Abstract

This research aims to see the potential of each formulation and preparation of dishwashing soap with the active ingredient telang flower kombucha in inhibiting the growth of pathogenic bacteria isolated from beef. This research is a laboratory experiment, namely by making a dishwashing soap base without the active substance of telang flower kombucha. Make a dishwashing soap base that adds the active substance of butterfly pea flower kombucha at concentrations of 20%, 30% and 40%. Biochemical identification results have shown that beef samples contain gram-positive bacteria in the form of Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes, as well as gram-negative bacteria in the form of Salmonella thyposa and Escherichia coli. The results of this research have also proven that pharmaceutical biotechnology products in the form of formulations and dishwashing soap preparations with the active ingredient telang flower kombucha have a positive correlation in inhibiting the growth of the four test bacteria. Based on the one-way ANOVA statistical test at each P value <0.05, it proves that telang flower kombucha dish soap at a concentration of 40% according to post hoc analysis is not significantly different from concentrations of 20% and 30% as a pharmaceutical and antibacterial biotechnology product. isolated from beef. The conclusion of this research is that the formulation and preparation of dishwashing soap at a concentration of 40% proved to be the most effective as a pharmaceutical biotechnology product in inhibiting the growth of the four test bacteria.

Abstract

Telang flower kombucha (Clitoria ternatea L) is a functional probiotic drink that has antifungal properties. This study aimed to examine the antifungal activity of the probiotic bath soap formulation fermented kombucha telang flower against Trycophyton rubrum and Trycophyton mentagrophytes. This research method was carried out experimentally in an in vitro laboratory. The formulation of the fermented kombucha bath soap for the flower of telang was made with varying concentrations of 20%, 30%, and 40%. The preparation of probiotic bath soap for kombucha telang flower was tested for its antifungal activity against the bacteria T. rubrum and T. megantrophytes using the disc diffusion method. The working procedure includes the manufacture of bath soap preparations, and antifungal activity tests on the probiotic kombucha bath soap preparations of telang flower. The results of the study were positively correlated based on the one-way ANOVA test with f count greater than f table and showed that telang flower kombucha in the form of probiotic bath soap had antifungal activity against T. rubrum and T. mentagrophytes as a whole. The concentration of 40% was the highest concentration in the probiotic soap preparations fermented kombucha telang flower with an average inhibition zone diameter of 17.70 mm in T. rubrum species and 17.30 mm in T. mentagrophytes species. The average value of the diameter of the inhibition zone is included in the strong category.

Abstract

Meta Platforms, Inc. (META), the holding company that owns Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, plays a crucial role in advancing artificial intelligence (AI). In early 2024, CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced an ambitious initiative to develop Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), leading to a significant rise in Meta's stock during the first quarter. Consequently, an analysis using the pulse function intervention method was conducted to model and forecast future data. The study utilized weekly data consisting of 124 training and 7 testing observations, spanning from March 13, 2022, to September 15, 2024. The optimal intervention model determined is ARIMA (0,2,1), with parameters (0,0,1) and an intervention point at t = 99. Predictions for a further 8 periods resulted a MAPE of 9.682003% and an MSE of 2411.771. These findings suggest that investors should consider the influence of Zuckerberg's AGI strategy announcement on stock performance. The post-announcement surge indicates a favorable market reaction, and investors should closely follow the AGI project's development to assess META's long-term potential in the technology sector.

Abstract

Crude oil has important role in global economy, including Indonesia with considerable dependence on crude oil energy consumption. The increase in crude oil prices can be triggered by several factors, one of which is geopolitical conflict that occurred due to Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022. As the result, world crude oil prices rose above US$100 per barrel for the first time since 2014. Therefore, this study uses pulse function intervention analysis approach to evaluate the impact of certain events in predicting data over the next few periods. The pulse function is used because the intervention occurs at the moment t only. The data used starts from June 8, 2020 to September 19, 2022 on weekly basis with the proportion of training and testing data is 90:10. The best intervention model obtained is ARIMA (3,2,0) with b=0, s=1, r=2, and intervention point at T=91. The prediction results for the next 12 periods obtained MAPE value of 2.8982% and MSE of 10.2687. This study is expected to help reduce risks due to uncertainty in world crude oil prices and in line with the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to ensure access to reliable, sustainable, and affordable energy.

Abstract

Kemiskinan merupakan permasalahan terkait kesejahteraan masyarakat yang serius dan menjadi indikator keberhasilan ekonomi dari suatu negara. Provinsi Sumatera Utara merupakan salah satu provinsi dengan jumlah penduduk miskin terbanyak dengan total 1,2 juta jiwa di pulau Sumatera pada tahun 2022. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menangani masalah multikolinearitas pada faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kemiskinan di Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan menggunakan analisis komponen utama. Data yang diperoleh merupakan data yang didapatkan dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Terdapat 8 variabel prediktor yang digunakan dan terbentuk 3 komponen utama dengan keragaman total sebesar 84,5%. Komponen utama yang terbentuk kemudian diregresikan dan diperoleh persamaan . Model regresi tersebut terbebas dari masalah multikolinearitas dan ketiga komponen secara signifikan berpengaruh terhadap jumlah penduduk miskin di Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the public value contained in the social piety dimension of Wayang Wali culture, as a driving instrument for policy development of the capacity of cultural communities and the people of Blitar. The data collection method used in this research is a qualitative study with unstructured observation and documentation study. The data were analysed using componential techniques to find the interrelationship of values contained within the scope of the research object. We found that there are elements of social piety in Wayang Wali culture as a public value in the community, and can be used as a driving value for cultural and community capacity development. The government or relevant authorities can make Wayang Wali culture an instrument of social development and capacity building of cultural communities and society as a local identity.
