Abstract

Analysis of the Role of the Agriculture Sector in the Regional Economy Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra The agricultural sector is the sector that provides the largest contribution to the economy of Simalungun Regency. The contribution of the agricultural sector to the economy of Simalungun Regency during 2016-2020 tends to increase over the last two years, while the growth rate of the agricultural sector has decreased. The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the agricultural sector in the regional economy in Simalungun Regency, whether it is a basic or non-basic sector. This research is a quantitative descriptive analysis. This research was conducted in Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. This study uses secondary data in the form of GRDP data according to the business field of Simalungun Regency and North Sumatra Province in 2016-2020. The data was collected using the documentation method and analyzed using the Location Quotient, Dynamic Location Quotient and Total Shift-Share methods. The results showed that the agricultural sector became the basic sector in the present and the non-basic sector in the future, the changes were caused by location factors. The agricultural subsector is the basic, namely the food crops subsector, the plantation crops subsector and the agricultural and hunting services subsector. However, the food crops sub-sector and the plantation crops sub-sector will experience changes in their roles in the future due to economic structure factors.

Abstract

Feasibility Analysis of Siam Oranges and Kintamani Oranges Farming in Manikliyu Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency Orange plants are one of the plants that are widely cultivated by farmers in Kintamani District. This study aims to compare the income between Siamese orange and Kintamani orange farming using investment feasibility criteria. The data used in the form of quantitative data. The data obtained from from direct interviews with the number of respondents 20 farmers. This research was conducted using quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results of the analysis show that Siamese orange farming is more profitable than Kitamani oranges based on the investment criteria, with a B-C ratio of Siamese oranges of 1.63, kintamani oranges by 1.26. NPV of Siamese oranges Rp2,908,740,114.75; kintamani oranges Rp.1,243,369,105,82 and the IRR of Siamese oranges is 19.97%; kintamani oranges 15.75%. Payback Period Siamese oranges for 7 years 6 months; kintamani oranges at 8 years and 1 month with the economic age of 10 years. The results of the sensitivity analysis showed that Siamese orange farming and Kintamani orange farming were not sensitive to changes in costs up 5%, 10% and income decreased by 10%. However, from the results of this study, it is recommended that farmers continue farming Siamese oranges rather than kintamani oranges because it provides higher income.

Abstract

Income Level and Household Welfare of Ginger Farmers in Taro Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency During the Covid-19 Pandemic Ginger (Zingiber officinale) contains antioxidants that are good for maintaining body resistance during a pandemic. The government's response to reduce the spread of Covid-19 resulted in lowering economic performance. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of income, the level of family welfare of ginger farmers and the constraints on ginger cultivation in Taro Village, Tegallalang District, Gianyar Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analytical method used is quantitative and qualitative with research variables namely farm income, household income (on farm, off farm and non farm), welfare level with indicators according to BPS 2020 and cultivation constraints by direct interviews. The results showed that ginger farming income during the pandemic was Rp. 114,073,361.00 per hectare per growing season. The contribution of ginger farmers' household income from on-farm income is 13.40 percent, off-farm income is 13.23 percent and non-farm income is 73.37 percent. The welfare level of ginger farming families, 82.93 percent is classified as prosperous and 17.07 percent is classified as not prosperous. The cultivation constraints experienced by ginger farmers are 36.59 saying they are experiencing extreme weather changes, 43.90 say there is an attack of bacterial disease and 19.51 say it is difficult in marketing.

Abstract

The Comparison of Vannamei Shrimp Farming Income with Traditional System and HDPE Lined Ponds in Jembrana Regency Shrimp farming has become a priority in the development of aquaculture in Indonesia because that possesses a high economic value. Vannamei shrimp was recently introduced as a priority commodity in Indonesia. Busmetik is one of the intensive shrimp farming technology using high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastics as inner lining ponds. However, intensive shrimp farming was only able to be practiced by large-scale farmers because it requires a greater amount of costs. This research aims to (1) identify the comparison of vannamei shrimp farming income with traditional system and plastic lined-ponds, and (2) to find out the obstacles faced by farmers in vannamei shrimp farming. This study was conducted in Jembrana regency. The site location was determined purposely because it is a center for vannamei shrimp production in Bali Province. The selection of respondents was done by using a proportional random sampling technique with 26 traditional shrimp farmers and 8 plastic lined-pond shrimp farmers. The method of analysis used in this study is comparative analysis of farm income, R/C Ratio, and descriptive analysis. Farming income is obtained in one season of production with an average of 75 days of cultivation. The results showed that the average income of traditional shrimp farmers was Rp. 17,969,856 per hectare per season, while the average income of lined ponds shrimp farmers at Rp. 135,623,051 per hectare per season. R/C ratio of traditional shrimp farmers is 1,22 whereas the lined-ponds shrimp farmers is 1,33 and statistic test result is significant. The obstacles of shrimp farming are pests and diseases, climate changes, and large capital issue.

Abstract

The Impact of The Covid-19 Pandemic on The Finances of The CV Puspa Rice Mill Company, in Jembrana Regency, Bali Province The midst of the covid -19 pandemic, many companies experienced changes in the financial problems. One company that is still operating in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic is CV Puspa, a company engaged in rice milling. An assessment of the company’s financial performance in the midst of the covid 19 is important to get information about the development of the company’s performance during the pandemic. Financial ratio analysis is used in this study to measure financial company’s performance and see the comparison that occurred in CV Puspa during the pandemic. There are four types of financial ratios analysis are used, namely liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, solvency ratio, and activity ratio. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that there is a difference in CV Puspa's financial performance before and during the pandemic. In addition, CV Puspa's finances are known to be quite good and have experienced several improvements. Suggestions that the author can give are maintaining liquidity by increasing current assets, maintaining profitability by increasing profits, increasing solvency by making effective use of capital, and maintaining activities by increasing sales.

Abstract

Income Analysis of Broiler Breeders in Ringinrejo District, Kediri Regency A lot of broiler chicken farming businesses experience up and down. Breeders don't always get high profits. The purpose of this study is to analyze the quantity of income and to analyze the product factors that influence the quantity of product of broiler farms for partnership and independent patterns in Ringinrejo District, Kediri Regency. The research is conducted in Selodono and Sambi Village, Ringinrejo District, Kediri Regency, East Java Province. The types of data used are qualitative and quantitative data sourced from primary data and secondary data. The method of data collection is carried out by observation and interview. The results show that the partnership pattern receives lower income for each kg chicken than the independent pattern, which is Rp 1.068,00 while the independent pattern is Rp 3.099,00. Furthermore, the result of the analysis shows that the quantity of DOC and the quantity of feed partially have a positive and significant effect on the quantity of product, while the area of the cage has a negative and significant effect. The other variables partially have no significant effect on the quantity of product. The independent pattern of broiler farming is more profitable because income of the independent pattern is higher than the partnership pattern. Before starting production, breeders have to look at the market conditions to find out the purchase price and the selling price of livestock.

Abstract

Risk Analysis of Dragon Fruit Farming in Pucangsari Farmers Group in Jambewangi Village Sempu District Banyuwangi Regency Dragon fruit is one of the leading commodities in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java. One of the dragon fruit producing villages in Banyuwangi is Jambewangi Village. The purpose of the study are to analyze the increase in dragon fruit farming income, to find sources of risk, and to analyze the risk of production, price and income in the Pucangsari Farmer Group, Jambewangi Village, Sempu District, Banyuwangi Regency. This research used quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results shows that the average income of dragon fruit farmers is IDR 24,756,575,7/year with an average land area of 0,7 hectares. In general, the low risk level is evidenced by the value of KV production of 0,08, price of 0,01, income of 0,07, meaning that farmers avoid the risk of production, price and income in dragon fruit farming. Through this research, this is suggest to dragon fruit farmers who are members of the Pucangsari Farmer's Group to form agricultural cooperatives, the government expects to help provide training in processing dragon fruit into various products that can increase the selling value of dragon fruit in harvest season and for further researchers, it is hoped that they can conduct research on risk management strategies for dragon fruit farming so that the results of the discussion become more complete from this research.

Abstract

Analysis Of Production And Income Of Corn Farming In Piong Village, Sanggar District, Bima Regency. Piong Village, located in West Nusa Tenggara Province, is one area that has potential as a national corn producer because it has climatic conditions, soil types and topography that strongly support corn development. Corn agribusiness development is a regional commodity development program. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the production and income of corn farming.The population taken by the researchers in this study were all people who made a living as a corn farmer. The sample using the simple random sampling method is a random sampling based on place and anyone. Respondents in the study amounted to 38 people.The results of this study indicate that fthe factors thataffectThe production of corn farming in Piong Village, Sanggar District, Bima Regency is the area of ??land, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor.The variable that have a significant effect on corn farming production are land area, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides and labor. Income received from corn farming in Piong Village, Sangar District, Bima Regency for one growing seasonamounting to Rp 25.885.717,00/Ha.

Abstract

Economic Valuation of Dreamland Beach Nature Tourism Kuta District Badung Regency. Dreamland Beach is located in the village of Ungasan, Kuta District, Badung Regency. Dreamland Beach has a natural beauty that can be used as a tourist attraction for every visitor. Natural beauty basically cannot be calculated or has no market value, so the importance of economic valuation is carried out. This study aims to identify factors that affect the number of visits to Dreamland Beach and determine the economic value of Dreamland Beach. This research was conducted from February to Mei 2022. The economic valuation method used is the travel cost method using individuals, while the factors that influence the number of visits are determined by multiple linear regression analysis. Data obtained from 100 visitors to the Dreamland Beach tour. The results of the multiple linear regression analysis for the number of Dreamland Beach visits depend on the length of visitors, distance and travel time, as well as the length of time to find the location. The economic value of Dreamland Beach is Rp. 30. 363,362,035, - per year with a consumer surplus-value of Rp. 677,104 per person / visit.

Abstract

Factors Affecting Traders Income at Sanglah Market During the COVID-19 Pandemic Sanglah Market is a type of traditional market that provides people's daily needs. Judging from the data from the secretariat of traders at Sanglah Market, some traders who sell kiosks or have their licenses revoked because of a decrease in income so that traders find it difficult to pay their obligations. The purpose of this study is to analyze the characteristics of traders, analyze the factors that affect the income of traders and the problems faced by traders at Sanglah Market during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative with SPSS-25 analysis technique. The data used are primary data from the respondents' questionnaires measured by an open scale. The results showed that the characteristics of the dominant traders aged 15-65 years were female, the number of family dependents was 4-6 people and came from the Denpasar area. Capital factors, trading locations and types of merchandise have a positive and significant effect on income. The factor of trading hours has a negative and insignificant effect on the income of traders at Sanglah Market during the COVID-19 pandemic. The problems faced by traders at Sanglah Market during the COVID-19 pandemic were the declining purchasing power of consumers, the decrease in consumer visits to the market, the reduced number of merchandise and the decline in the price of merchandise.
