Abstract

Aktivitas membaca adalah salah satu usaha untuk mendapatkan informasi atau sebuah pesan, atau menemukan pengetahuan baru yang tidak pernah dialami sebelumnya dan dapat dilakukan oleh semua orang di segala usia, seperti masyarakat umum, siswa dan anak pra sekolah. Rendahnya minat baca di usia anak sekolah telah menjadi problema tersendiri dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya di daerah terpencil. Terdepan dan tertinggal (3T). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat baca siswa pelajar SD di daerah 3T dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data primer penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas 5, pihak sekolah yaitu kepala sekolah dan wali kelas 5 di Sekolah Dasar Negeri (SDN) 27 Kartiasa Kecamatan Sambas Kabupaten Sambas Kalimantan Barat. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, observasi serta dokumentasi, selanjutnya dilakukan analisis data melalui penyusunan narasi dari data yang diperoleh dan menarik kesimpulan terkait faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan rendahnya minat baca pada siswa yang menjadi responden dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, menunjukkan faktor penyebab menurunnya minat baca siswa di daerah 3T adalah kurangnya akses dalam mendapatkan buku bacaan khususnya buku Pelajaran sekolah, rendahnya tingkat pendidikan orangtua serta kurangnya waktu yang tersedia bagi anak sekolah ketika pulang sekolah karena sibuk membantu orang tua. Analysis of the Factors Causing the Low Interest in Reading of Students in the Leading and Lowest Remote Areas Abstract Reading activity is one of the efforts to get information or a message, or find new knowledge that has never been experienced before and can be done by everyone at all ages, such as the general public, students and pre-school children. The low interest in reading among school-age children has become a separate problem in the world of education, especially in remote areas. Leading and lagging (3T). The purpose of this research is to examine the factors that cause the low reading interest of elementary school students in the 3T area by using a descriptive qualitative approach. The primary data source for this study was 5th grade students, the school's principal and homeroom teacher for 5th grade at Public Elementary School (SDN) 27 Kartiasa, Sambas District, Sambas Regency, West Kalimantan. Data collection methods used questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation, then data analysis was carried out through compiling narratives from the data obtained and drawing conclusions regarding the factors causing low reading interest in students who were respondents in this study. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the factors causing the decline in students' interest in reading in the 3T areas are the lack of access to reading books, especially school textbooks, the low level of parental education and the lack of time available for school children when they come home from school because they are busy helping their parents.

Abstract

Keberadaan Kampung Caping mulai ramai diperbincangkan karena keunikan dan pengembangan lingkungan kampung sebagai destinasi wisata berbasis kearifan lokal. Kampung Caping menyuguhkan beberapa edukasi menarik bagi para wisatawan yang berkenan mengunjungi. Perpustakaan Bahagia Mendawai merupakan salah satu unit yang berada di kawasan Kampung Caping yang berperan mengedukasi warga sekitar. Guna mendukung kemajuan kawasan tersebut, tim pengabdian bermitra dengan perpustakaan Bahagia Mendawai agar para pengelola perpustakaan maupun warga mendapat keterampilan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi, menjadikan warga lebih mandiri dan maju. Tim pengabdian masyarakat Prodi D-3 Perpustakaan berupaya berkontribusi memberikan keterampilan melalui program pelatihan keterampilan kreativitas digital di Kampung Caping. Dalam pelaksanaannya, tim berkolaborasi dengan mahasiswa dan mitra. Metode yang dipilih berupa workshop dalam bentuk tutorial dan project-based, dilanjutkan dengan diskusi mengenai pembuatan infografis dan e-book sebagai media publikasi produk dan kegiatan Kampung Caping. Masyarakat sasarannya terdiri dari pengelola perpustakaan Bahagia Mendawai, ibu rumah tangga, dan siswa sekolah di sekitar Kampung Caping dengan total peserta 31 orang. Hasilnya para pengelola Perpustakaan Bahagia Mendawai memperoleh pengetahuan pembuatan infografis dan memanfaatkannya untuk mendokumentasikan kegiatan perpustakaan, mendampingi warga untuk publikasi karya, dan meningkatkan minat berkarya sehingga kemampuan literasi meningkat. Ibu-ibu mendapat keterampilan memanfaatkan platform book creator untuk mendokumentasikan karya anak mereka menjadi buku digital. Siswa sekolah juga bisa memanfaatkan kedua platform tersebut untuk membantu mempermudah merangkum poin-poin inti pelajaran menggunakan infografis dan berkarya menulis cerita sederhana secara digital menggunakan book creator. Kata kunci: Literasi Digital, Infografis; Buku Digital

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat seberapa jauh Negara mengatur regulasi tentang pengutamaan serta perlindungan produk dalam negeri dalam konteks hukum dan perundang-undangan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode analisis pustaka, kajian literatur, dan pemeriksaan peraturan perundang-undangan terkait pengutamaan produk dalam negeri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Undang-Undang di Indonesia yang mengatur pengutamaan produk dalam negeri telah dirancang dengan cermat untuk mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi domestik. Tetapi dalam implementasinya memerlukan aturan-aturan konkrit yang bersifat mengikat seperti peraturan pemerintah, instruksi presiden, dan peraturan menteri untuk memastikan kepatuhan terhadap prinsip-prinsip perlindungan produk dalam negeri yang diatur dalam UU. Simpulan penggunaan dan pengutamaan produk dalam negeri sudah mencakup aspek-aspek kunci, namun peran aturan-aturan konkret tetap sangat diperlukan untuk memaksimalkan manfaat dari kebijakan ini dalam mendukung ekonomi nasional. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini utnuk mengetahui proyeksi peningkatan perekonomian melalui pemanfaatan bonus demografi 2040. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil Penelitian bahwa bonus demografi menawarkan peluang emas, di mana kebanyakan penduduk berada dalam usia produktif, memungkinkan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang luar biasa. Namun, kemajuan teknologi, terutama dalam bidang kecerdasan buatan, membawa dampak besar terhadap struktur pasar tenaga kerja. kemudahan akses pendidikan dan peningkatan keterampilan bagi angkatan kerja harus dimulai sedini mungkin serta kolaborasi antara pemerintah dan swasta sangat penting untuk memastikan angkatan kerja Indonesia dapat terserap oleh industry. Simpulan penelitian ini menunjukakan dengan adanya visi jelas, strategi yang tepat, dan kolaborasi yang kokoh antara pemerintah, industri, dan masyarakat, Indonesia dapat memanfaatkan bonus demografi ini untuk menciptakan masa depan yang sejahtera dan berkelanjutan. Abstract

Mangrove forests have an important role in our environment, some of which are as a barrier to abrasion and as a source of food and the community's economy. Disruption of the balance of the mangrove forest ecosystem, will cause a decrease in these functions. This Community Service Activity (PKM) aims to educate and socialize the mangrove forest conservation program to residents around the Kuala Mempawah mangrove forest. This activity was carried out using the lecture method and continued with the planting of mangrove trees along the coastline that had been previously damaged. Abstract

The coast of Indonesia holds an extraordinary wealth of maritime culture, but today's young generation is starting to forget about local coastal wisdom. Community service activities carried out at SMPN 8 Sungai Kakap, Kubu Raya Regency, aim to foster and strengthen a sense of pride and love for maritime culture among the younger generation. The method used was interviews and counseling involving 20 grade 11 students. The results of the activity show that this activity is effective in increasing students' knowledge and awareness about maritime culture, as well as encouraging their participation in preserving maritime culture and the environment.Keywords:coastal local wisdom, education, maritime culture, young generation, pkm

Abstract

The basic literacy skills of Indonesian people are still very low compared to other countries in the world, which is a cause for concern in the world of education. The government, through the national school literacy movement, has tried hard to improve literacy skills for students, with various activities both local and national. Through formal and formal education services. The aim of this community service activity (PKM) is to strengthen literacy skills for students at the Punggur Smart Home, which is a non-formal education service, community learning activity center (PBKM) located in Punggur Kecil village, Sungai Kakap subdistrict, Kubu Raya regency. This PKM activity was attended by 25 PKBM students, using educational lecture methods and active literacy. The results of the activity evaluation showed the enthusiasm of PKBM students and their ability to respond to questions from the presenting team during the discussion activities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form of naming, and the meaning of naming lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah based on naming lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah: a semantic study. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative form. The source of data in this study is the speech of informants who understand the naming of lubuk - lubuk in Mempawah. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, interview techniques, note-taking techniques, and recording techniques. Based on all the data that has been analyzed, there are naming bases that can be classified into six, namely 19 data for naming places based on plants, 10 data for naming places based on people's names, 2 data for naming places based on people's actions, 13 data for naming places based on stories, 2 data for naming places based on geographical conditions, and 1 place naming data based on buildings. The total number of data is 47 data. The form of naming consists of monomorphemic, polymorphemic, and phrase form. Monomorphism in noun form is 14 words, and verb form is 1 word. Polymorphemic in the form of affixation as much as 1 word. Phrases in noun form are 27 words, adjective forms are 1 word, and in verb form are 2 words. The meaning of naming consists of 4 types of meaning, namely lexical meaning there are 24 data, grammatical meaning is 10 data, referential meaning is 7 data, and associative meaning is 1 data.

Abstract

This study was conducted to describe the adherence to the principle of language politeness contained in the dialog in the novel Takbir Cinta di Jabal Rahmah by Roidah, as well as the implementation of this research in Indonesian language learning. This research uses a descriptive method by using a qualitative approach. The main data source used in this research is the novel Takbir Cinta di Jabal Rahmah by Roidah. The main data in this research is the compliance of the principles of language politeness in the dialog in the novel Takbir Cinta di Jabal Rahmah. The data collection technique used a documentary study technique. Data collection tools are researchers themselves and other tools. The techniques for testing the validity of this research are observation persistence, investigator triangulation, and using reference materials. Data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. This study found 53 utterances that contain the principle of language politeness according to Leech. It is described as 53 utterances of maxims of compliance which include: maxims of wisdom (12), maxims of generosity (1), maxims of praise (18), maxims of humility (5), maxims of agreement (15) and maxims of sympathy (2).

Abstract

Purpose – Zotero is a Reference Management Software (RMS) that can help students manage references, citations, and bibliographies automatically. However, the background factors and the extent to which students understand and feel the benefits of using Zotero in this process have not been widely studied, especially from a qualitative research perspective. Therefore, this study aims to examine the factors behind using Zotero as a reference management tool and its impact on the process of writing academic texts for students.Methodology – The research employs a qualitative design with data collected from twelve undergraduate students at Tanjungpura University during the 2023-2024 academic year. Participants were selected based on their confirmed experience using Zotero for academic writing. Data collection was conducted through semi-structured interviews, and thematic analysis was applied to identify patterns and themes in the responses.Findings – The research findings indicate three main themes. The first theme is the perception of ease of use, with subthemes of ease of download, installation, and use, as well as ease of understanding and learning. The second theme is the perception of usefulness with the subthemes of time efficiency, improved score, improving writing quality, ease of citation, and bibliography, making it easy to translate. The third theme is the influence of using the subthemes of academic encouragement, friend encouragement, and lecturer encouragement. These findings underscore Zotero’s effectiveness in supporting students’ academic writing needs.Significance – This research benefits educators, students, and academic institutions seeking to incorporate practical reference management tools into academic writing practices. It highlights Zotero's potential to streamline the writing process and improve academic outcomes, offering valuable insights for integrating technology into higher education curricula. Keywords : Zotero, RMS, Reference Management, Student, Perception
