Abstract

This study aims to develop interactive student worksheets (LKPD) based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) that integrate Bojonegoro's local wisdom to improve literacy skills among Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students. These worksheets are designed to utilize AI technology in delivering engaging and contextual learning materials that reflect cultural values and local wisdom. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Results showed a 94% validation score, classifying the AI-based interactive LKPD as excellent and ready for use without revision. The worksheets effectively enhanced students’ literacy—especially in understanding and appreciating local content—demonstrated by an N-Gain score of 0.7–0.8 (high category). The classical learning mastery rate reached 93–95%, indicating that the majority of students achieved the set competency standards. Both teachers and students responded positively to the interactive and user-friendly design. Consequently, the AI-based LKPD presents a viable alternative as an innovative learning medium that supports literacy development while preserving Bojonegoro’s cultural heritage.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy-based learning in thematic learning plays an important role in improving student learning outcomes. Numeracy literacy in thematic learning involves integrating the ability to read, understand and use numbers and mathematical concepts in the context of the themes studied, so that students not only memorize material but are also able to solve real problems in everyday life. The application of literacy and numeracy-based learning will foster student motivation in understanding the material and being able to apply it in various subjects. Literacy and numeracy skills of elementary school students in Indonesia are still low. Therefore, effective education is needed to improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of literacy and numeracy-based learning in improving thematic learning outcomes of elementary/middle school students. The research method is based on a systematic literature study with data collection from relevant journals, books and scientific articles. The results show that learning will have a positive impact on students' thematic learning outcomes by integrating literacy and numeracy learning with various subjects in relevant and contextual themes, facilitating the development of critical thinking and real problem solving skills.

Abstract

Collaborative and cooperative learning are currently widely applied in modern education to increase student participation and academic achievement. This study adopts a literature review method by collecting and analyzing various sources, such as books, research reports, journals, and articles related to both learning approaches. One of the problems discussed in this article is the imbalance in participation between students and teachers, where students tend to be passive during learning, reducing the effectiveness of the learning process. In addition, in the 21st century, students are required to master collaborative skills in solving problems, making the participatory approach increasingly important. Before implementing the learning process, educators need to prepare a thorough plan in the form of a teaching module or Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) that includes various components of strategies, methods, and learning models. The learning strategy itself is a combination of three fundamental aspects: theoretical foundations (science), pedagogical innovation (art), and practical competence (skills) applied by teachers in guiding students, providing motivation, and creating an optimal learning atmosphere. In the contemporary education system, collaborative and cooperative approaches have developed as significant learning methods. Both models emphasize social interaction and cooperation between students in order to optimize conceptual understanding. This learning process is designed so that students can master the subject matter through mutually supportive group activities. Collaborative/cooperative models not only strengthen students' social interactions but also train communication and teamwork skills. This kind of approach is very suitable for application at the elementary education level (MI/SD). Based on the results of the analysis, the collaborative approach has proven effective in honing students' high-level thinking skills through interactive dialogue, while the cooperative method shows advantages in achieving learning targets in a more structured manner.

Abstract

Pendahuluan: Perkembangan teknologi digital mendorong perlunya inovasi dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk pada jenjang Sekolah Dasar. Studi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan mutu proses pembelajaran melalui pemanfaatan teknologi Metaverse dalam lingkungan sekolah dasar. Metode: Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), yang menekankan pada partisipasi aktif para guru melalui tahapan identifikasi masalah, perencanaan solusi, hingga pelaksanaan dan evaluasi bersama. Hasil: Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa guru-guru di KKG SD Kedewan mengalami peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan dalam menerapkan Metaverse sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif, yang ditandai dengan adanya perubahan pendekatan mengajar dari konvensional menuju model pembelajaran berbasis teknologi imersif. Selain itu, terjadi peningkatan antusiasme dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses belajar yang lebih interaktif dan kontekstual. Kesimpulan: Pembelajaran Metaverse dapat menjadi salah satu strategi inovatif untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di sekolah dasar jika didukung dengan pelatihan yang tepat dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

General Background: In an era where traffic discipline is increasingly neglected, Specific Background: instilling traffic rule awareness from an early age is critical. The Indonesian subject for grade III elementary students includes material on traffic signs. Knowledge Gap: However, conventional teaching methods relying on lectures and textbooks often lead to student disengagement, especially when interpreting symbolic traffic signs. Aims: This study aims to develop a role-playing-based miniature traffic sign learning media to enhance student comprehension and engagement. Results: Utilizing the ADDIE Research and Development model, product validation involved media, material, and language experts, as well as students. Validation results showed scores of 90% (media), 88.5% (material), and 90% (language), while student responses reached 96%, all categorized as "Very Feasible". Student learning outcomes also improved significantly, with pretest and posttest averages rising from 52.5 to 80.5. Novelty: This media integrates hands-on, interactive learning with role-play to bridge cognitive challenges in understanding abstract symbols. Implications: The findings suggest that such innovative media can substantially increase student motivation and achievement, offering a replicable model for similar educational challenges. Highlights: Increases student engagement through interactive role-play. Significantly improves learning outcomes on traffic sign material. Abstract

The integration of culture and local wisdom in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) learning is a strategic effort to strengthen the identity of learners and increase the relevance of the curriculum to the surrounding social and cultural environment amid globalization. This research aims to analyze the models, strategies, and implementation of culture and local wisdom-based learning applied in MI as an effort to enrich the Islamic basic education curriculum with a qualitative approach through literature studies from relevant journals, articles, and educational documents for the 2015-2025 period. The analysis results show that models such as Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), Project-Based Learning (PjBL), and ethnopedagogy have been successfully adapted contextually in MI by involving the collaboration of teachers, students, and local communities. Learning strategies emphasize the integration of local content and out-of-class project activities that strengthen learners' cultural engagement and character. The main challenges include limited teacher competence in contextual learning, lack of local cultural learning resources, and not optimal supporting curriculum policies. Therefore, systemic support is needed in the form of teacher training, preparation of locality-based teaching tools, and curriculum policies that encourage flexibility and autonomy of madrasah.

Abstract

Student motivation to learn is often the main challenge in the learning process, seen from students' lack of attention to the material presented, low active participation, and reluctance to complete assignments. Effective education requires a creative, active, and contextual approach to creating meaningful learning experiences. One potential approach is to utilize the school environment as a learning resource. The school environment, such as parks, gardens, play facilities, and other elements, can be a real and contextual learning medium, allowing students to connect theory with practice. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the use of the school environment in increasing MI students' learning motivation in science subjects, especially environmental material. This research uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, where data is collected through literature studies from various sources such as books, journals and scientific articles. The research results show that the school environment can be used to improve students' cognitive, affective and psychomotor skills, while making learning more enjoyable and effective. Environment-based learning also helps students understand science material, such as healthy and unhealthy environments, more easily. However, there are challenges in its implementation, such as limited school facilities and lack of teacher creativity. This research recommends strategies to maximize the positive impact of using the school environment in supporting student learning motivation holistically.

Abstract

Penerapan Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalah (PBL) dalam Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) muncul sebagai metode strategi untuk menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era ke-21, khususnya dalam mengembangkan berpikir kritis dan mandiri sejak usia dini. Meskipun demikian, penerapan PBL dalam MI masih mengalami tantangan dalam menyusun masalah kontekstual yang sesuai dengan karakter peserta didik serta mengoptimalkan peran guru sebagai fasilitator. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji literatur terbaru tentang prinsip-prinsip penyusunan masalah kontekstual dalam PBL dan menganalisis perubahan peran guru MI dalam mendukung proses pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara menelusuri jurnal elektronik melalui  Google Scholar  dan studi dokumentasi di perpustakaan.Temuan dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa penyusunan masalah yang nyata, berdasarkan kebijaksanaan lokal, dan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai Islam memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap keberhasilan PBL. Selain itu, guru MI perlu bertransformasi dari posisi sebagai pengajar menjadi fasilitator yang adaptif, reflektif, dan penuh empati. Kesimpulannya, keberhasilan PBL di MI sangat bergantung pada masalah desain bersama serta kompetensi fasilitasi yang dimiliki guru. Implikasi dari studi ini menekankan pentingnya pelatihan guru yang berkelanjutan serta pengembangan materi ajar kontekstual yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik MI.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' lack of understanding of the material presented by the teacher in learning. This is why the teacher took the initiative to use the contextual teaching and learning model. Contextual teaching and learning is a learning model that encourages students to make connections between their knowledge and its application in everyday life. This research shows character development based on Islamic education values based on Ahlussunnah wal Jama'ah (aswaja). The purpose of this research is to find out how teachers apply and know the impact of the contextual teaching and learning model in building aswaja characteristics through Islamic religious education and ethics subjects. The research approach uses descriptive research. Based on the research that has been done, it shows that the application of the contextual teaching and learning model has five steps including the following: the teacher provides a stimulus to students, students pay attention to the pictures given by the teacher, conduct exploration, namely by students discussing a problem contained in the picture, drawing conclusions from discussions that have been carried out by students, presenting the results of group discussions. The impact received is positive, because students become more active, do not feel bored, and more easily understand the material presented by the teacher.

Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in forming character, especially with the 2013 Curriculum (K13) which emphasizes character formation as a solution to overcome the current low character of the Indonesian nation. Through the implementation of the Character Education Strengthening Policy (PPK), efforts are made to strengthen student character by involving the active role of educational institutions, families and communities, which as a whole are part of the National Mental Revolution Movement (GNRM). MINU Walisongo is one of the leading madrasas in Bojonegoro district which is based on Nahdlatul Ulama and has implemented a character strengthening education program. Character Strengthening Education (PPK) efforts in the K13 curriculum are through Aswaja Character Habituation (PKA). Habituation of the Aswaja Character is a form of instilling the Aswaja or NU character in an amaliyah manner in students.. The aim of this research is to find out Implementation of Strengthening Character Education (PPK) through Aswaja Character Habituation (PKA) at MINU Unggulan Walisongo. The results of this study show that Implementation of Strengthening Character Education at MINU Unggulan Walisongo Sumberrejo through the Aswaja Character Habituation (PKA) program on religious values ​​is found in the activity of chanting Sholawat: Munjiyat, Fatih, Tibbil Qulub, Qulil Anwar, Nariyah and NU, then chanting Asmaul Husna, Istinghotsah, tahlil and Aqidatul Lay people who are included in the Aswaja Tawazun charity.
