Abstract

Pendidikan berperan penting dalam pembentukan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas dan berdaya saing tinggi dalame era globalisasi untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Karyawan atau sumber daya manusia merupakan salah satu faktor penentu keberhasilan atau kegagalan organisasi. Oleh karena itu organisasi perlu memperlakukan karyawan dengan baik dan memperhatikan kepuasan kerja karyawan. Penelitian sebelumnya terkait kepuasan kerja banyak diteliti di sekolah dan Perusahaan, untuk Perguruan Tinggi swasta khususnya di Kota Bandung masih terbata. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan, kompensasi, lingkungan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan Perguruan Tinggi swasta X di Kota Bandung. Metode penelitian secara kuantitatif menggunakan analisis linier berganda dengan pengumpulan data berbentuk kuesioner menggunakan SPPS Versi 20. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga kependidikan Perguruan Tinggi swasta X di Kota Bandung sebanyak 212 dengan sampel karyawan aktif sebanyak 95 orang. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kepemimpinan, kompensasi, dan lingkungan kerja berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan.

Abstract

The development of information, technology, and communication has been proven in facilitating the advancement of the digital economy, but it also raises the issue of digital literacy and knowledge about financial technology, especially among Islamic Boarding School’s students. The lack of understanding about financial management and the risks of using financial technology, drive the enhancement on their financial literacy. This community service activity aims to improve financial literacy and utilization of financial technology among students of Al-Ashriyyah Nurul Iman Islamic Boarding School Bogor, West Java. The method that is used in implementing the community service activity is carried out training which is conducted using the classical method and the discussion about digital literacy and the use of financial technology. The results of this activity showed that the level of understanding and ability to utilize financial technology increased significantly. This activity is expected to improve financial literacy among santri and strengthen the integration of digital literacy in the education curriculum

Abstract

Semakin intensifnya penerapan teknologi memiliki berpengaruh yang besar dalam berbagai segi kehidupan manusia. Teknologi memberikan berbagai kemudahan dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup manusia, salah satunya kebutuhan akan dana tunai. Salah satu pilihan pemenuhan kebutuhan dana yang mudah adalah menggunakan pinjaman online (pinjol) melalui sebuah aplikasi di gawai, khususnya smartphone. Nasabah pinjaman online (pinjol) langsung menerima dana tunai yang ditransfer ke rekening tujuan cukup dengan tanda pengenal. Di sisi lain, masyarakat banyak yang belum memiliki pemahaman tentang seluk-beluk pinjaman online sehingga masih banyak yang terjerat aplikasi pinjaman online ilegal. Dimana hal tersebut nantinya akan menjerat nasabah menjadi korban berbagai tindakan ilegal dari penyedia pinjaman online (pinjol) ilegal tersebut. Objek pengabdian kepada masyarakat pada kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat khususnya Karang Taruna Desa Cipanas Kecamatan Cipanas Kabupaten Cianjur. Keputusan yang mendasari pemilihan objek kegiatan adalah berdasarkan penelitian sebelumnya oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) dimana rentang usia yang paling banyak terpapar Pinjaman Online adalah pada rentang 19 hingga 34 tahun. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilakukan adalah dengan cara sosialisasi secara tatap muka langsung kepada masyarakat desa. Kegiatan ini bertujuan memberikan edukasi kepada para masyarakat desa khususnya Karang Taruna tentang pemahaman mengenai pinjaman online dan transaksi digital yang aman. Respon masyarakat dalam kegiatan ini sangat antusias, dan keingintahuan tentang seluk-beluk pinjaman online sangat tinggi, hal ini terlihat dari diskusi yang berlangsung intens dan responsif.

Abstract

Lake Toba is located on the Sumatran Fault, an active fault line that runs along the island of Sumatra. Therefore, Toba Regency is an area prone to earthquakes. The potential for earthquakes can also cause secondary hazards such as landslides. As one of the Super Priority Tourism Destinations (DPSP), the government is promoting the region through the Formula 1 (F1) Powerboat racing championship held from 2023 to 2027 to increase tourist visits to Lake Toba. The purpose of this study is to provide capacity-building recommendations for the organization of the F1 Powerboat in the Lake Toba Area. The F1 Powerboat is one of the prestigious international events held in the Lake Toba Area from 2023 to 2027. In 2024, this event will be participated in by 9 countries with a total of 18 racers. To anticipate panic due to disasters during the race, capacity building is needed to enhance disaster preparedness. The research methods used in this study include literature review and data collection, followed by data analysis to generate recommendations. Recommendations to improve disaster preparedness can be achieved by enhancing regional readiness to reduce disaster risks, developing planning, multi-stakeholder collaboration, understanding risks, disseminating information, training, simulations, providing safety and disaster preparedness facilities and infrastructure, and building a culture of disaster preparedness through safety briefings and disaster preparedness simulations.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the feasibility of Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled process improvement systems to assist businesses in optimizing Internal Business Process (IBP) by making and adopting suggestions and improvements. Over the last two decades’ technological advances in the new generation have allowed us to use more sophisticated systems to speed up different tasks, as well as AI which has cognate from theory to something more efficient and applicable. This study confirms that a feasible AI-based system can provide benefits to companies in terms of increasing revenue. A mixed method was used; quantitative research was carried out through surveys to gather knowledge about the use of AI in the IBP, while qualitative research was carried out through interviews to obtain an overview of the use of AI in certain IBP. The results show that constructing AI in process optimization is a complicated task than one might expect.

Abstract

This article aims to analyse the extent of the role of Business Education in upgrading to improve and enhance clothing convection businesses. This article uses descriptive qualitative methods. There were eight sampling participants in the study, including owners and participants of clothing convection businesses. Data analysis was carried out through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with participants. The results showed that Business Education did not significantly affect businessmen to open a garment business. The work environment and experience including the educational background of the owners, which varied from elementary school graduate to undergraduate, influenced them to open a garment business Businessmen open garment business because they follow trends, family offspring, continuing friends’ businesses, and their great passion. In the strategy of maintaining a garment business, businessmen need Business Education. It is proven by the fact that these owners often participate in screen printing and sewing seminar workshops, read business books, and get business education through field discussions.

Abstract

The role of employees greatly determines the success of an organizational or company goal. Therefore, this study aims to analyze factors that affect employee performance ranging from factors of competence, discipline, and integrity as direct influences. Then organizational culture and employee empowerment as direct and indirect influences that affect employee performance through data collection with literature surveys which are then analyzed and described. So it is known that this study found that competence, discipline, integrity on employee performance and organizational culture as well as employee empowerment have a direct and indirect influence on employee performance. This research has the opportunity to be investigated further for future research, by developing empirical models of employee performance using other factors.

Abstract

This study intends to ascertain how group guidance services and group discussion technique at SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah affect social loafing. This study used a single group pre-test/post-test experimental quantitative research methodology. The sample for this study consisted of 7 eighth-grade students from SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah. A social loafing questionnaire is used as the data gathering method. The findings of the study have an impact on students both before and after the introduction of group assistance services using discussion approaches. Average pre-test scores were 68.86, while post-test scores were 103.57. The average post-test score is greater than the pre-test score on average, demonstrating the impact of group guidance services and group discussion approaches on students' social loafing. The t test calculation findings, which indicate tcount> ttable (6.078> 1.94318) with a significant level of 0.05, support this. Based on the findings of the t test analysis, it is possible to draw the conclusion that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. This suggests that group guidance services combined with group discussion approaches have an impact on social loafing at SMP Negeri 1 Kotagajah in the academic year 2022/2023.

Abstract

Economic growth is an indicator that determines the success of a region's economy. East Java is one of the provinces that has experienced problems with declining economic growth. This is evidenced by data from the Central Bureau of Statistics which shows that East Java's economic growth fluctuated throughout 2015-2022. This means that there is economic instability in East Java which is the main problem. This study aims to determine the effect of human development index, regional minimum wage, and population on economic growth in East Java. The research method used is quantitative method with multiple linear regression analysis techniques processed using Eviews-9 software. The data used in this study were obtained secondary from the East Java Central Bureau of Statistics. The number of samples used was 38 districts/cities in East Java in the 8-year research period with a total of 304. The partial results showed that the human development index had a significant positive effect, the regional minimum wage had no effect, and population had a no significant negative effect on economic growth. Simultaneously, the independent variables have a significant positive effect on economic growth and are able to influence economic growth by 11.5% while the rest is influenced by other factors that have not been studied.

Abstract

Flooding is the most dominant disaster in Indonesia, with a major case in Greater Jakarta in March 2025, which is the issue of deforestation is highlighted as the main cause of this phenomenon. This study examines the relationship between vegetation canopy and built-up land on flood vulnerability. The analysis was conducted by correlating vegetation and built-up land indices against flood vulnerability maps from the National Disaster Management Agency using the Weighted Overlay method. Results show vegetation has a moderate correlation to flood vulnerability, while built-up land shows a lower correlation. The findings indicate that both contribute to flood risk, but are not a single factor. The study recommends further research with a spatio-temporal approach in smaller areas to be more specific.
