Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Talk Write(TTW) menggunakan buku saku digital untuk meningkatkan pemahaman konsep matematis. PenelitianYyangDdilakukan dengaPpenelitian eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan randomsampling dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik Pengumpulan Data”Tes (essay) untukmengukur kemampuanRpemahaman konsep peserta didik . Teknik-Analisis-Uji Coba-Instrumen- Penelitian yang digunakan untuk mengukur data penelitian telah valid dan bisa digunakan untukmengukur apa yang seharusnya diukur diantaranya uji validitas”uji reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran, daya beda, teknik”analisis data dengan Gain yang dinormalisasi (N-Gain). Dalam penelitian ini teknik analisis data untuk menguji hipotesis yaitu menggunakan ANOVA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran yang biasa digunakan oleh guru. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitatif, dengan metode eksperimen semu. Desain yang digunakan adalah Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasinya adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Lampung Selatan. Simple random sampling merupakan teknik dalam pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini. Kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis N-gain kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis pada materi relasi dan fungsi diperoleh bahwa kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dengan model pembelajaran Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran biasa. Kata kunci: Auditory Intellectually Repetition, pemahaman konsep. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine whether the increasing of students mathematical concepts understanding on the class with Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) model is better than on the class with usual learning models. This study is a quantitative research by using the quasi-experimental method. The design is Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population is all of eighth grade students of a Junior High School in South Lampung. Simple random sampling technique is used to get the sample. The VIII A class is the experimental class and VIII B class is the control class. Based on the results of the N-gain hypothesis test of the ability to understand mathematical concepts in relation and function material, the understanding of students' mathematical concepts with the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) learning model is better than students who use usual learning models. Abstract

This study aims to develop teaching materials gamification-based problem solving on the material in terms of four. To view the judging of the validator against the feasibility of teaching materials gamification-based problem solving on the material  terms of four and see the response of students to the attractiveness of the teaching materials gamification-based problem solving on the material in terms of four. This research use type research of research and development with a research model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Stage of development (development) involving 9 validator (three validator matter experts, three media experts and three language experts) to assess the feasibility of the material, the media and the Indonesian language good and right. Stage of Implementation (field trials) involving 80 students ( 20 students trial of small group and 60 students test a large group). The assessment of the attractiveness of the teaching materials gamification-based problem solving on the material in terms of four using the questionnaire i.e. a questionnaire the validator and questionnaires of learners. Data analysis using descriptive analysis using Microsoft Office Excel 2010. The results of the validation matter experts from the 3 validator shows that the overall product to obtain an average value of 3.7 and the Results of the validation media experts obtained an average value of 3.3 while the results of the validation of language experts to obtain an average value of 3.4. While the results of the trials of a small group of 10 students of MTs N 1 Bandar Lampung obtained the results of the attractiveness of the teaching materials with an average value of 3.4. while the test is a large group that was conducted in SMP 30 Bandar Lampung to obtain an average value of 3.5. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of teaching materials gamification-based problem solving on the criteria of very worthy and interesting.

Abstract

The development research was conducted as an innovation of learning modules with Islamic nuances and the environment of whole number material at the junior high school / MTs level that are feasible, interesting, and effective for use in learning. The development model used is the ADDIE model. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of validation of material, media, and religious experts, the response of the attractiveness of educators and students, and the effectiveness test. The feasibility test was conducted by three material expert validators, three media experts, and one religious expert. Attractiveness and effectiveness response tests were conducted at SMP Swadiri 1 Seputih Agung and MTs Darussalam Adijaya. The results of the feasibility test by material expert validators 3.53, media experts 3.69, and religious experts 3.77 with the criteria "feasible". The attractiveness response test by educator 1 was 3.88 and educator 2 was 3.29 with the criteria "very interesting", the response of students in the small group test was 3.53, the large group was 3.57 with the criteria "very interesting" at SMP Mandiri 1 Seputih Agung and the small group 3.57 and the large group 3.60 with the criteria of "very interesting" at MTs Darussalam Adijaya. The product effectiveness results obtained an effect size score of 0.68 in the "medium" category at SMP Swadiri 1 and 0.85 in the "high" category at MTs Darussalam Adijaya so that the module was declared effective for use in learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the mathematics module with Islamic nuances and the material environment for integers is feasible, interesting, and quite effective in learning.

Abstract

Mathematical representation is essential as the gateway to mastering mathematical literacy. This literature study aims to determine the growth of students' mathematical representation abilities in the last three years. This literature study presents a literature review on the development of mathematical representations, including media, strategies, and measurement instruments to serve as the basis for future mathematical representations. The literature study method used is the SLR (Systematic Literature Review), utilizing a review procedure that refers to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) framework in the period 2020 to 2022 because the growth in literature studies on mathematical representations is very significant and latest. Data were collected by reviewing 24 Scopus-indexed articles and proceedings from the Scopus database. The study's results reveal that from the 24 selected literature, it can be interpreted if the mathematical representation ability can be improved and fulfills the indicators of mathematical representation itself by providing innovation in media, strategies, and instruments in learning mathematics. The innovations provided can be in the form of technology integration (Geogebra), no longer conventional strategies (RME strategy), and instrument indicators of the representation itself. Thus the ability of students' mathematical representations is no longer included in the low category in solving mathematical problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the concept of Ibn Khaldun's thinking and its relevance to education in Indonesia. Data collection using documentation. Data analysis used descriptive qualitative method, using literature research. The research results obtained by Ibn Khaldun classify science based on the material discussed in it and consider the usefulness of the science into: oral science (language), naqli science, and aqli science. An educator is someone who has broad knowledge and insight and has a good personality. A student is someone who is considered immature and has potential that can be developed. Thus, students need the help of adults to develop their potential. The learning methods offered by Ibn Khaldun include: the scientific rihlah method, the phasing and repetition method (tadarruj wat tikrari), and the general introduction method. The relevance of Ibn Khaldun's concept of thought to education in Indonesia, among others, is in terms of human insight in Indonesia, the goals of Islamic education, and the educational curriculum.

Abstract

All students should develop their mathematical critical thinking skills to aid their learning and overcome various mathematical challenges. The purpose of this study is to find out how the idea of gamification of IMPROVE learning model affects students' mathematical critical thinking skills. This study used a quasi-experimental design to collect data by using a test in the form of description questions. Normality test and homogeneity test are the two data analysis procedures used. One-way ANOVA test was used in testing the hypothesis of this study. Based on the results of the study, the idea of gamification of IMPROVE learning model has an impact on students' mathematical critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Gaya kognitif perlu diketahui untuk membantu pemilihan metode pengajaran yang sesuai kebutuhan siswa dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) berbantuan media handout terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis ditinjau dari gaya kognitif. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini menggunakan posttest-only control design. Populasi pada penelitian ini mencakup seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP di kota Metro. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Sampel penelitian adalah 41 siswa (22 di kelas eksperimen dan 19 di kelas kontrol). Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji anava dua jalan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran CUPs berbantuan media handout mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, gaya kognitif field independent dan field dependent mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dan tidak ada interaksi antara model pembelajaran dan tipe gaya kognitif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa. Cognitive styles need to be known to help select teaching methods that are suitable for students' needs in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of the Conceptual Understanding Procedures (CUPs) learning model assisted by handout media on the ability to understand mathematical concepts in terms of cognitive style. This quasi-experimental research used a posttest-only control design. The population in this study includes all students of class VIII SMP in the city of Metro. Determination of the sample using cluster random sampling technique. The research sample was 41 students (22 in the experimental class and 19 in the control class). Hypothesis testing using two-way ANOVA test. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the CUPs learning model assisted by handout media had an influence on students' mathematical concept understanding abilities, field-independent and field-dependent cognitive styles had an influence on students' mathematical concept understanding abilities and there was no interaction between learning models and types of cognitive styles on understanding abilities. students' mathematical concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dengan strategi heuristik krulik rudnick terhadap kemampuan representasi matematika dan self confidence. Jenis eksperimen yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimental. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 7 Krui. Populasinya adalah peserta didik kelas VIII dan sampel penelitian adalah kelas VIII B dengan jumlah 28 peserta didik sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dengan strategi heuristik krulik rudnick dan kelas VIII A yang jumlah 28 peserta didik sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran direct instruction. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes kemampuan representasi matematika dan angket self confidence. Analisis data menggunkan uji Manova. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh kemampuan representasi matematika dan self confidence menggunakan model reciprocal teaching dengan strategi heuristik krulik rudnick. Efektivias penggunaan model pembelajaran reciprocal teaching dengan strategi heuristik krulik rudnick lebih efektif terhadap kemampuan representasi matematika dan self confidence, ditunjukkan dari effect size yang diperoleh termasuk dalam kategori tinggi.

Abstract

This study aims to determine ; 1) differences in the ability to understand concepts and critical mathematical thinking abilities through the picture and picture learning model, 2) differences in abilities to understand concepts through the picture and picture learning model, and 3) differences in mathematical critical thinking abilities through the picture and picture learning model. This research was conducted at MTs Negeri 1 Mesuji. The type of research used was quasi-experimental with a posttest only control group design. Data analysis used the MANOVA test. Based on the research results, it was concluded that there were differences in the ability to understand concepts and mathematical critical thinking abilities through the picture and picture learning model, there were differences in the ability to understand concepts through the picture and picture learning model, and there were differences in mathematical critical thinking abilities through the picture and picture learning model.
