Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media in the form of a pocket book integrated with the local wisdom of Wayang Sukuraga, based on Deep Learning, to improve critical thinking in Pancasila education among elementary school students. The study employed the Research & Development (R&D) model SAM, conducted in three iterations, with each iteration including evaluation, design, and development stages. The participants consisted of 26 fourth-grade students from an elementary school in Sukabumi City. Data were collected using expert validation questionnaires, student response surveys, and performance assessments on a 4-point Likert scale. Data were analyzed using paired-sample t-tests within a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design. Validation results showed high feasibility, with scores of 97.9% from subject matter experts, 97.5% from media experts, 97.2% from practitioner experts, and 90.41% from student responses. The overall average feasibility score was 95.75%, categorized as very valid. The paired-sample t-test revealed a significant improvement in critical thinking (Sig. (2-tailed) < 0.001), indicating that the Wayang Sukuraga pocket book is effective in enhancing critical thinking in Pancasila education. This media also serves as a prototype for integrating other forms of local wisdom into elementary school learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of Fatimah Az Zahra's courage in the Fadakiyah Sermon through the perspective of Pierre Bourdieu's sociology of literature, and to examine its relevance in fostering the character of courage among female students at SDIT Aisyiyah. The method used is a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review, using primary data in the form of the Fadakiyah Sermon text and the biography of Fatimah Az-Zahra, as well as secondary data from bibliometric analyses of various related journals. The results of the study indicate that Fatimah Az-Zahra's courage is a symbolic practice formed from habitus in the political arena. This courage is realized through the use of symbolic capital (status as the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad), social capital (relationships with the people of Medina), cultural capital (mastery of the Qur'an), and economic capital (inheritance rights of the Prophet's family) in opposing injustice related to the land of Fadak. The analysis also shows a relationship between the application of sermon values and the development of courage in female students.  This research suggests that the sermon method may affect the development of courage among female students. This is a recommendation to conduct research on implementing this method in the world of language and education.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low level of beginning reading skills of grade II elementary school students so that improvements need to be made to improve beginning reading skills. The purpose of this study was to improve the ability of beginning reading in grade II elementary school students through the use of traditional game-based serial picture media. The subjects of this study were grade II elementary school students at SD Negeri Karyautama totaling 24 students. The research method used was Kemmis and Mc Taggart design classroom action research. Data were collected through observation and tests then analyzed using Miles and Huberman techniques for qualitative data and descriptive statistical techniques for quantitative data. The results showed that in the pre-cycle the average value obtained was 68.75 with a percentage of classical completeness of 50% and included in the Fair criteria. In cycle I, it increased to 75.17 with the percentage of classical completeness reaching 62.50% and included in the good criteria. The beginning reading ability in cycle II increased again to 85.16 with a percentage of classical completeness of 91.76% and included in the excellent criteria. It can be concluded that the use of traditional game-based serial picture media can improve early reading skills.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of the Sukuraga puppet story on the student’s character education in elementary schools. This study utilized a quasi-experimental type of quantitative approach. The design used in this research is the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The subjects used in the study were 4 th -grade students of SDN Suryakencana CBM. The data collection tool in this study used a questionnaire using a Likert scale measurement consisting of 20 statements with the answers to statements including Always (SL), Often (SR), Sometimes (KK), Rarely (J), Never (TP). ) based on a checklist (√) on the attitude scale instrument grid. Based on the results of data processing pretest and posttest, with the calculation of the t-test carried out with the help of the IBM SPSS version software 26 with the results of planting character education using the Sukuraga puppet story, it obtained sig (2- tailed) 0.000 which is less than = 0.05. Based on the results from this calculation, it can be concluded that the story of the wayang Sukuraga affected the character education of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika (perkalian) siswa kelas III SD menggunakan media digital Wordwall. Latar belakang masalah adalah rendahnya hasil belajar akibat kurangnya variasi media pembelajaran interaktif. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dua siklus, meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah 18 siswa kelas III. Instrumen yang dipakai meliputi lembar observasi, tes hasil belajar, dan angket respons siswa. Observasi menunjukkan peningkatan interaksi dan hasil belajar siswa dengan Wordwall. Rata-rata nilai tes siswa meningkat dari pra-tes ke siklus I dan II. Kesimpulannya, media Wordwall efektif meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika materi perkalian di SD.
